Jud 1:11 ASV - Woe unto them! For they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.
Abraham and his family (Sarah, Isaac, and Jacob) were promised the land flowing with milk and honey. "These all died in faith, not having received the promises." They did not personally possess the promised land. Yet, they lived with a sense of guaranty that God would fulfill His promises: "but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them." They fully accepted the certainty that the Lord would some day give that land to their seed. Meanwhile, they confessed that they were content to live as strangers concerning this world and as pilgrims anticipating the world to come: "and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth."
Now, the pilgrimage aspect of Abraham's testimony (and his family's) is emphasized. "For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland." As the years passed and the promised land was not given to them, their hearts yearned for a true, lasting, eternal homeland. "For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland." God wants to develop this perspective of heavenly pilgrimage in our hearts as well. "Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul" (1 Peter 2:11). The Lord wants us to set our daily course toward heaven, rejecting earthly cravings that diminish spiritual vitality. Bob Hoekstra

Exd 20:19 ASV - And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.
Exd 20:20 ASV - And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before you, that ye sin not.
Exd 20:24 ASV - An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt-offerings, and thy peace-offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in every place where I record my name I will come unto thee and I will bless thee.
Exd 20:25 ASV - And if thou make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stones; for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it. Isaiah 28-16 the stone is Christ,uncut not conformed unto man so he was rejected,builders rejected this tried and precious stone. Unless you build upon the rock the house will not stand.
Exd 20:26 ASV - Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not uncovered thereon. You think God is saying here that there is only one way, his way, Christ is the door and no man can come to God except through Christ . The steps here is mans ideal of how to reach God, could this be the traditions of man making void the word of God. An altar of earth God said of uncut stone and Christ is the chief corner stone, Man cuts the stone to fit their doctrines and then they call it Gods steps to righteousness. 2Cr 5:1 ASV - For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.
2Cr 5:2 ASV - For verily in this we groan, longing to be clothed upon with our habitation which is from heaven:
2Cr 5:3 ASV - if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
Steps in Heb=
We are the righteousness of God in Christ, Man in their on minds have worked out their own plan of who God is and what wants. Aside from scripture and the whole word they go contrary even from the beginning of time. Cain offered a gift unto God but God rejected his gift. Why did God reject his offering,it was not the gift itself it was the way it was brought to God. God was seeing Cains heart as he brought this gift and it proves out as we read on. But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. It says unto Cain and his offering ,the name Cain in the Heb= Possession. Unless God build the house it will not stand. Cain represents a lot of men today, the spirit of Cain is alive today. Men have no respect for the true word of God and their hearts are far from the Lord it says in Amos they worship me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. From the beginning of time ,from Cain to today. Men bring their fruit and their fruit is whats in their heart we know that we are saved by Grace and that is a gift from God a gift of Faith ,their is absolutely nothing we can do in our flesh to be saved. So what ever Gift we give to God it has to be generated by his gift of faith. And his (Cains) countenance fell, countenance in the Heb= is FACE or the Face of God ,so it is apparent he is being ruled by his flesh and it is from his heart outward, 2Cr 10:3 ASV - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh
2Cr 10:4 ASV - (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds),
2Cr 10:5 ASV - casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; It says casting down strongholds , what was the stronghold in Cains life resentment,hatred,bitterness Gal 5:17 ASV - For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would. Rom 2:27 ASV - and shall not the uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who with the letter and circumcision art a transgressor of the law?
Rom 2:29 ASV - but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Rom 7:6 ASV - But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that wherein we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.
2Cr 3:6 ASV - who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. The word says that we pass from the old into the new the old testament was a type and a shadow of better things to come, The old was the letter of the law and the new is the new life God gives to every man that believes,the first Adam and than the second Adam. From death unto life. So back to the strongholds in Cains life,what he did was not a spur of the moment thing this was a festering sore in Cains heart that would not heal. But God told him there is a way a remedy for your heart , If thou doest well, shall it not be lifted up. It was his heart and the only medicine that would cure his heart REPENTANCE, God said if you do well it shall be lifted ,if not sin is standing ready to consume you, first comes lust than sin than death. 2Cr 10:5 ASV - casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and the knowledge we have is his word everything that is contrary to Gods word is sin. Cain was wroth or the Heb is ,to be hot, furious, burn, become angry, be kindled. Where do you think the saying comes from , That just burns me up!!! .So we see that Cain let this fire of bitterness seethe in him to the point that it became his desire and his master and he murdered his brother in a fit of rage. Cain thought that he could offer some kind of gift other than his heart and he failed,so it is as some men to day they not only are strangers to the word of God but they don't know who God is. The word was made flesh and dwell among us Jesus said you see me you see the father. He is the very image of God himself Jhn 10:25 ASV - Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believe not: the works that I do in my Father's name, these bear witness of me. And what is the witness of Christ, its that God was in Christ 2Cr 5:19 ASV - to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Luk 8:15 ASV - And that in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it fast, and bring forth fruit with patience.
Mat 3:8 ASV - Bring forth therefore fruit worthy of repentance:
Jhn 10:38 ASV - But if I do them, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father. Rom 9:16 ASV - So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that hath mercy. The gift we give is a gift of surrender we give back to God his son Christ in you the hope of glory. There is only one fruit that is acceptable unto God the fruit of his spirit and the fruit of Gods spirit is the very nature of Christ himself. 2Cr 3:3 ASV - being made manifest that ye are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in tables [that are] hearts of flesh.
Gen 4:3 ASV - And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto Jehovah.
Gen 4:4 ASV - And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And Jehovah had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
Gen 4:5 ASV - but unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
Gen 4:6 ASV - And Jehovah said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
Gen 4:7 ASV - If thou doest well, shall it not be lifted up? and if thou doest not well, sin coucheth at the door: and unto thee shall be its desire, but do thou rule over it.
So we know Cain represents all man kind that is not not ruled by the Spirit of God. His name Cain means Possession, verse three says in the process of time it came to pass. Luk 8:15 ASV - And that in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it fast, and bring forth fruit with patience.
Mat 3:8 ASV - Bring forth therefore fruit worthy of repentance: Hbr 12:14 ASV - Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:
Hbr 12:15 ASV - looking carefully lest [there be] any man that falleth short of the grace of God; Speaking of Esau and Cain for he found no place for a change of mind
Hbr 12:16 ASV - lest [there be] any fornication, or profane person, as Esau, who for one mess of meat sold his own birthright.
Hbr 12:17 ASV - For ye know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected; for he found no place for a change of mind [in his father,] though he sought is diligently with tears. How many people do you know today are having great problems with serving God and cant find that peace of heart they seek for, they are up one day and down the next. Its one obstacle after another, the bible says make his paths straight ,first came John than comes Jesus John brought in repentance Acts 2:38 The men listening to Peter were pricked in their hearts and said what must we do to be SAVED. Well peter told them and you and me and every one else that reads this word and believes. It says of Esau verse 17 for he found no place for a change of mind ,he could not forgive he would not forgive. So it is in this life today so many people are bound up in their life's they want all of God but they want to serve God their way, they just cant forgive Hbr 12:15 ASV - looking carefully lest [there be] any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby the many be defiled; Hbr 12:13 ASV - and make straight paths for your feet, that that which is lame be not turned out of the way, but rather be healed. It is saying here that there is a healing for you and me that if we repent and turn our hearts to God he will heal us and restore us ,what ever has crippled us, makes us of no effect will be taken away and he will bring healing to us. Gal 5:1 ASV - For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage
Mat 5:23 NLT - "So if you are standing before the altar in the Temple, offering a sacrifice to God, and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, or you have something against them.
Mat 5:24 NLT - leave your sacrifice there beside the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God. You see this is what God was saying to Cain and to Esau
Mat 5:25 NLT - Come to terms quickly with your enemy before it is too late and you are dragged into court, handed over to an officer, and thrown in jail. Mat 5:26 NLT - I assure you that you won't be free again until you have paid the last penny. With out repenatence a change of heart we put ourselfs in a spitiural prison we lock ourselfs up, Bitterness will destroy us. What does the word say about this 1Cr 13:13 ASV - But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love. Rom 13:10 ASV - Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: love therefore is the fulfilment of the law.
Pro 14:12 ASV - There is a way which seemeth right unto a man; But the end thereof are the ways of death.
Mat 5:26 NLT - I assure you that you won't be free again until you have paid the last penny. Love is the fulfilling of every law
God bless you all

Are you full of oil and trimed
Mat 25:1 ASV - Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
Mat 25:2 ASV - And five of them were foolish, and five were wise.
Mat 25:3 ASV - For the foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them:
Mat 25:4 ASV - but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
Mat 25:5 ASV - Now while the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
Mat 25:6 ASV - But at midnight there is a cry, Behold, the bridegroom! Come ye forth to meet him.
Mat 25:7 ASV - Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. the word trimmed in the greek Verb Strong's Number: g2885 Greek: kosmeo
Adorn, Adorning:
primarily "to arrange, to put in order" (Eng., "cosmetic"), is used of furnishing a room, Mat 12:44; Luk 11:25, and of trimming lamps, Mat 25:7. Hence, "to adorn, to ornament, the foolish virgins like the people that are not waiting and watching for the Lord will see they have been living in the world and not for God and they will run to try and get their self's right with God they have been deceived
And then they will run to the door and shout open unto us Lord we have fed the poor and cast out demons done works in your name. Jesus said I know not from whose house you are from,I do not know you Eze 43:10 ASV - Thou, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern. We are Israel all Israel and their is a pattern a more perfect way It is to let Romans 6 live in us. What does it say, he is coming back for a bride with out spot or wrinkle. Unrepentant sin will separate people from God.
Mat 25:8 ASV - And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are going out.
Mat 25:9 ASV - But the wise answered, saying, Peradventure there will not be enough for us and you: go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. Its to late at this point and when the rains came and it began to flood it says that Noah and his people could hear the screams from those that refused to hear the word of the Lord And God shut the door to the ark. Jhn 1:1 ASV - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jhn 1:4 ASV - In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Jhn 1:5 ASV - And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not.
Jhn 1:9 ASV - There was the true light, [even the light] which lighteth every man, coming into the world. Mat 25:10 ASV - And while they went away to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage feast: and the door was shut.
Mat 25:11 ASV - Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
Mat 25:12 ASV - But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
Mat 25:13 ASV - Watch therefore, for ye know not the day nor the hour.

Oil:
"olive oil," is mentioned over 200 times in the Bible. Different kinds were known in Palestine. The "pure," RV (AV, "beaten"), mentioned in Exd 27:20; 29:40; Lev 24:2; Num 28:5 (now known as virgin oil), extracted by pressure, without heat, is called "golden" in Zec 4:12.
The pure oil it says is extracted by pressure this I believe is speaking of the trials of our faith
the daily working of lifes journey with Jesus, People have a hard time with trials and hardships
Rom 5:3 ASV - And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;
Rom 8:35 ASV - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 12:12 ASV - rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing stedfastly in prayer;
Rom 5:3 ASV - And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;
Rom 5:4 ASV - and stedfastness, approvedness; and approvedness, hope:
Rom 5:5 ASV - and hope putteth not to shame; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given unto us. Here is the pressing of the oil the golden oil ,the word tribulation in the greek Noun Strong's Number: g2347 Greek: thlipsis
Afflict (-ed), Affliction:
primarily means "a pressing, pressure" (see A, No. 4), anything which burdens the spirit. In two passages in Paul's Epistles it is used of future retribution, in the way of "affliction," Rom 2:9; 2Th 1:6. In Mat 24:9, the AV renders it as a verb, "to be afflicted," (RV, "unto tribulation"). It is coupled with stenochoria, "anguish," in Rom 2:9; 8:35; with ananke, "distress," 1Th 3:7; with diogmos, "persecution," Mat 13:21; Mar 4:17; 2Th 1:4. It is used of the calamities of war, Mat 24:21, 29; Mar 13:19, 24; of want, 2Cr 8:13, lit., "distress for you;" Phl 4:14 (cp. Phl 1:16); Jam 1:27; of the distress of woman in child-birth, Jhn 16:21; of persecution, Act 11:19; 14:22; 20:23; 1Th 3:3, 7; Hbr 10:33; Rev 2:10; 7:14; of the "afflictions" of Christ, from which (His vicarious sufferings apart) his followers must not shrink, whether sufferings of body or mind, Col 1:24; of sufferings in general 1) a pressing, pressing together, pressure
2) metaph. oppression, affliction, tribulation, distress, straits
Mat 26:36 ASV - Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto his disciples, Sit ye here, while I go yonder and pray. No greater love, he laid down his life no one took it,he said the evil one is coming for me but he has nothing in me. He was a lamb perfect no shadow in his turning he was full of light. And that life he laid down he took it up again
on the third day and now he is in the hearts of all that believe. His example was that he gave his body to the cross the flesh profits nothing, He said I am the way the truth and the life, we will all lay down our life one day, just like Jesus why did he says pick up your cross and follow me, his was a physical death to bring about a spiritual death in us death to the carnal man, and in the days to come if it is Gods will we to will be witness of him. The cross is a sign of suffering Gethsemane = "an oil press"
1) the name of a place at the foot of the Mount of Olives, beyond the torrent Kidron It was fitting for Christ to go to this garden Gethsemane this great stone weight that was use to extract the oil
from the olives,and the golden oil for the lamps. Act 14:22 ASV - confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God. The Number Ten ,It has been already pointed out that ten is one of the perfect numbers, and signifies the perfection of Divine order, commencing, as it does, an altogether new series of numbers. The first decade is the representative of the whole numeral system, and originates the system of calculation called "decimals," because the whole system of numeration consists of so many tens, of which the first is a type of the whole Completeness of order, marking the entire round of anything, is, therefore, the ever-present signification of the number ten. It implies that nothing is wanting; that the number and order are perfect; that the whole cycle is complete.
Strong's Number: g2985 Greek: lampas
Lamp:
denotes "a torch" (akin to lampo, "to shine"), frequently fed, like, a "lamp," with oil from a little vessel used for the purpose (the angeion of Mat 25:4); they held little oil and would frequently need replenishing. Rutherford (The New Phrynichus) points out that it became used as the equivalent of luchnos (No. 2), as in the parable of the Ten Virgins, Mat 25:1, 3, 4, 7, 8; Jhn 18:3, "torches;" Act 20:8, "lights;" Rev 4:5; 8:10 (RV, "torch," AV, "lamp"). See Note below. Cp. phanos, "a torch," Jhn 18:3 (translated "lanterns").
The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, we need to communion with the Lord daily if not hourly. It says the lamps were small in size so they needed to carry extra oil. So is our flesh like a small lamp we get side tracked with cares of living so we must make a daily effort to fill this body with oil the presents of the Lord it says they all slept, Jesus said pray and watch while I go a little ways to pray, but they all fell asleep.
Mat 25:2 ASV - And five of them were foolish, and five were wise. Virgins in the greek 1) a virgin
a) a marriageable maiden
b) a woman who has never had sexual intercourse with a man
c) one's marriageable daughter
2) a man who has abstained from all uncleanness and whoredom attendant on idolatry, and so has kept his chastity
a) one who has never had intercourse with women You cannot lok at this in the flesh but the spirit we are Gods bride we are his virgins and from the day of our salvation we than determine to live that chaste life in the holy ghost and the word of God is the seed that Jesus is sowing and in time it will bring about the MAN CHILD Jhn 16:21 ASV - A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but when she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for the joy that a man is born into the world. This is Christ in you the hope of Glory Rev 12:5 ASV - And she was delivered of a son, a man child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and unto his throne.
Rev 12:13 ASV - And when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman that brought forth the man [child]. Gal 2:20 ASV - I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me: and that [life] which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, [the faith] which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me. Eze 43:10 ASV - Thou, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern. There is a true house that God has given to us all and that house is Christ the PATTERN SON we must take of him, put on the lord Jesus Christ
Mat 10:38 ASV - And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.
Mat 11:29 ASV - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Jhn 10:18 ASV - No one taketh it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.
Jhn 16:14 ASV - He shall glorify me: for he shall take of mine, and shall declare [it] unto you. This is the true oil of the true virgins of God Rom 7:4 KJV - Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, [even] to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. There is only one place in the bible where we find Beulah it is a place a land where God will take us in the end Isaiah 62;1-5
Hephz-bah in the Heb is My delight and Beulah is To marry,posses,to ruel over,to own and be Lord
The number Five in the greek Strong's Number: g4002 Greek: pente
Five, Five Times:
is derived by some from words suggesting the fingers of a hand, or a fist. The word is frequent in the Gospels. Pentakis, "five times," is found in 2Cr 11:24;
The number five in the numerics
Redemption follows creation. Inasmuch as in consequence of the fall of man creation came under the curse and was "made subject to vanity," therefore man and creation must be redeemed. Thus we have:
1. Father
2. Son
3. Spirit
4. Creation
5. Redemption
These are the five great mysteries, and five is therefore the number of GRACE.
So we can see that five of the virgins were not in the spirit, five fingers on the hand represents the works of the flesh being overwhelmed by the cares of the world therefore they were busy pleasing there other husband married to the world, keep in mind we are speaking of the bride of Christ the body of his believers. Rom 7:1 ASV - Or are ye ignorant, brethren (for I speak to men who know the law), that the law hath dominion over a man for so long time as he liveth?
Rom 7:2 ASV - For the woman that hath a husband is bound by law to the husband while he liveth; but if the husband die, she is discharged from the law of the husband.
Rom 7:3 ASV - So then if, while the husband liveth, she be joined to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if the husband die, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she be joined to another man. As long as we are married to the world we are bound to this world but if we should be set free from another husband by death we are free to marry another.
So now being married to Christ Jesus we do the works of the Kingdom of God pleasing him whom we love. 1Cr 15:47 ASV - The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.
1Cr 15:48 ASV - As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Cr 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. The law is of the flesh and we have been set free from the Law the curse of the Law
Gal 3:10 ASV - For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one who continueth not in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.
Gal 3:13 ASV - Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Rev 22:3 ASV - And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him; So the Lord is saying come out from among them come out of the world and serve him, love not the world nor the things thereof. So we see here that the curse is still working in the earth for if Christ is not in you and he has redeemed you from the curse than it is working in the earth . Mat 8:16 ASV - And when even was come, they brought unto him many possessed with demons: and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all that were sick:
Mar 1:34 ASV - And he healed many that were sick with divers diseases, and cast out many demons; and he suffered not the demons to speak, because they knew him.
Mar 6:13 ASV - And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.
Mar 6:56 ASV - And wheresoever he entered, into villages, or into cities, or into the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole. This the power of Christ over the curse and he healed them all that CAME!! to him the bible says.
1Cr 11:23 ASV - For I received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was betrayed took bread;
1Cr 11:24 ASV - and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, This is my body, which is for you: this do in remembrance of me.
1Cr 11:25 ASV - In like manner also the cup, after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood: this do, as often as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me.
1Cr 11:26 ASV - For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink the cup, ye proclaim the Lord's death till he come.
1Cr 11:27 ASV - Wherefore whosoever shall eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
1Cr 11:28 ASV - But let a man prove himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.
1Cr 11:29 ASV - For he that eateth and drinketh, eateth and drinketh judgment unto himself, if he discern not the body.
1Cr 11:30 ASV - For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.
1Cr 11:31 ASV - But if we discerned ourselves, we should not be judged.
1Cr 11:32 ASV - But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. What is Paul saying here if we are of the foolish virgins caught up in our fleshly ways not obeying the word not living holy and separate unto God,no fence riders here my friends. Its all or nothing Grace is the power the five wise virgins had to overcome in this world the Lord makes a way for us he gives us power to overcome, That is why the book speaks of the mark of the beast that is in the hand, the works of the flesh or the forehead the mind of the flesh . Rom 12 :1-2 Is so powerful we are to lay down our fleshly works at the cross and by this great and powerful word we RENEW OUR MINDS unto the word of righteousness . And if we look closely we see that this parable concerning the virgins was taking place in the night, a time when most people are sleeping. Are you sleeping or are you a watchman on the wall are you looking for his return even now ! He said he would come as a thief in the night when the world will least expect him he will come. It also said when the bridegroom came and took the five wise virgins he went in to the marriage feast and the door was SHUT !! Just as the door to the Ark with Noah and his family. We must inter into the Ark of safety God has provided, his word is our safety, And obedience to that word will save us look at Psalm 91 this word is for us today and if we believe it and trust in it you can see he will deliver us in that hour, the night in the parable also I believe represents the last days when the world begins to spin out of control, And man no longer has a solution to his problems and the devil is turned loose on the earth Rev 12:1 ASV - And a great sign was seen in heaven: a woman arrayed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars; The glory of God in his sun in his church,the moon is a dead star no way to emit light except by the SON sun the word of God, The crown of stars twelve stars they represent the true gospel preached by the disciples. 1Cr 15:35 ASV - But some one will say, How are the dead raised? and with what manner of body do they come?
1Cr 15:36 ASV - Thou foolish one, that which thou thyself sowest is not quickened except it die:
1Cr 15:37 ASV - and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but a bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other kind;
1Cr 15:38 ASV - but God giveth it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.
1Cr 15:39 ASV - All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one [flesh] of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fishes.
1Cr 15:40 ASV - There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the [glory] of the terrestrial is another.
1Cr 15:41 ASV - There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory.
Rev 12:2 ASV - and she was the child; and she crieth out, travailing in birth, and in pain to be delivered. You will notice it says she the woman was THE CHILD not with child, this means that Christ the man child has been made manifest in his people, so at that moment we will be celestial bodies in a moment in the twinkling of an eye we shall all be changed.
Rev 12:3 ASV - And there was seen another sign in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his heads seven diadems.
Rev 12:4 ASV - And his tail draweth the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon standeth before the woman that is about to be delivered, that when she is delivered he may devour her child. The third part of the stars is a third of man kind will be cast to the earth this is something to think on, could theses people be like the five foolish virgins that started off with a right heart and God shut the door , you decided and when you do , look up the word Blot out his name in Rev 3:5 Blot Greek: exaleipho
Blot Out:
from ek, "out," used intensively, and aleipho, "to wipe," signifies "to wash, or to smear completely." Hence, metaphorically, in the sense of removal, "to wipe away, wipe off, obliterate;" Act 3:19, of sins; Col 2:14, of writing; Rev 3:5, of a name in a book; Rev 7:17; 21:4, of tears.
Rev 12:5 ASV - And she was delivered of a son, a man child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and unto his throne. this is where the people of God his bride his church will be in the safety of Psalms 91
Rev 12:6 ASV - And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that there they may nourish her a thousand two hundred and threescore days. If you read the whole chapter of Rev 12 we see the great tribulation happening and we also see where some of the seed of God will be killed for the testimony of Christ. Rev 12:11 ASV - And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.
Rev 12:17 ASV - And the dragon waxed wroth with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, that keep the commandments of God, and hold the testimony of Jesus:
And those under he alter who were be headed for their testimony saying how long Lord Rev 6:9 ASV - And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of them that had been slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10 ASV - and they cried with a great voice, saying, How long, O Master, the holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 ASV - And there was given them to each one a white robe; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little time, until their fellow-servants also and their brethren, who should be killed even as they were, should have fulfilled [their course]. So what am I trying to say is that the apostate church has lied to Gods people and we must take up and feed upon the word of God and hold fast to his commandments . Paul called it a mystery and the Lord is able and willing to revel this mystery to the hungry heart. Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Isa 40:31 ASV - but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.
God bless you all
Mat 25:2 ASV - And five of them were foolish, and five were wise.

Rom 5:3 ASV - And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;
Rom 8:35 ASV - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 12:12 ASV - rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing stedfastly in prayer;
Rom 5:3 ASV - And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;
Five, Five Times:
is derived by some from words suggesting the fingers of a hand, or a fist. The word is frequent in the Gospels. Pentakis, "five times," is found in 2Cr 11:24;
1Cr 11:23 ASV - For I received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was betrayed took bread;
Delivered From Darkness
Col 1:3 ASV - We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
Col 1:4 ASV - having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have toward all the saints,
Col 1:5 ASV - because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,
HEAVENS
1) the vaulted expanse of the sky with all things visible in it

1Th 4:15 ASV - For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we that are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede them that are fallen asleep.
1Th 4:16 ASV - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first;
1Th 4:17 ASV - then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 ASV - Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Rom 5:3 ASV - And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;
Rom 5:4 ASV - and stedfastness, approvedness; and approvedness, hope:
Rom 5:5 ASV - and hope putteth not to shame; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given unto us. You know the love of God towards us is that he first loved us before we even knew him. And the word says that by being baptised in the spirit we are sealed for the day of redemption Jhn 6:27 ASV - Work not for the food which perisheth, but for the food which abideth unto eternal life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him the Father, even God, hath sealed.
2Cr 1:19 ASV - For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, [even] by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yea and nay, but in him is yea.
2Cr 1:20 ASV - For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us.
2Cr 1:21 ASV - Now he that establisheth us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God;
2Cr 1:22 ASV - who also sealed us, and gave [us] the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
This word of promises are absolute, they are not sometimes, later, will see, might be. No they are yes and amen, Gods promises are always YES ! Rahab was a type and a shadow of faith for us, she saw the mighty works of God in his going before the children and destroying the enemy's of God. She knew that their God was all powerful, and she believed. The name Rahab means WIDE it is I think speaking of Gods grace to those that believe its wide open its not hard to understand or receive. Just believe, Jesus said the sin of the world is unbelief in me, they don't believe me. The crimson or red cord she tied in the window was an act of faith, it is a type of the blood of Christ, and the house with her family and herself in it was as the ark, a place of safety, the ark of God. The men told her do not leave the house (the ark of Jesus) when you see the coming of the judgment upon the city remain inside,and you and your family will be spared. But if any man go outside the house his blood will be upon his own head. Love not the world ,come ye out from among them. Judgment is coming quickly now upon the earth,they mocked and they laughed at Noah and his sons for one hundred years while they build the ark. And when the day came it began to rain, the bible says that God closed up the door to the Ark he shut the door to safety. And it says that as the Ark began to rise that Noah and his family could hear the screams and the cry's outside the Ark but the door was closed, the remedy for salvation had past them by. So it is in this day we live, the word of God is beyond mans ideals ,Man has perverted this precious word but God in his mercy has come again in this last day to bring GRACE and MERCY to us. And he is pouring out his revelations of true salvation, the true gospel of Jesus Christ to the broken heart and the truly repentant heart. Vessels of mercy he is calling do you hear him,do you hear his voice 1Ki 19:11 ASV - And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before Jehovah. And, behold, Jehovah passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before Jehovah; but Jehovah was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but Jehovah was not in the earthquake:
1Ki 19:12 ASV - and after the earthquake a fire; but Jehovah was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
1Ki 19:13 ASV - And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? The apostate roar has deafened the ears of many, the lights of their showmanship has blinded the eyes of many, the wave of their error has laid many low. Because they don't know him or the power of his resurrection. He is speaking to his elect to the many that have been called ,that can hear his still small voice. Its not in the eye of the beholder its in the heart of the believer. Rom 10:10 ASV - for with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. . Are you truly saved do you hear his voice right now, Lot and his family had to be lead out by the hand or perish in Sodom, they had a hard time turning lose of all they knew and had. So God in his mercy , he lead them out by their hands. God had to pull them out of the world he had to pull them out !. And we see Lots wife through disobedience to his, Gods commands of the angels ,get your self out of this world or perish and don't pine or linger in your mind of what you are giving up, don't look back. 1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. Lots wife as they pulled her along(as if unwillingly) hurry you must hurry they said, and she could not part with her old life it was to strong Everything that does not line up with Gods word in your life the plumb line of his word building upon the rock, everything that does not bring glory to God, it ties a spiritual string to our flesh and it will bind us up it will in time pull us down, there will be many soul ties upon you and the load of sin will crush the life out of you. It will turn you into a pillar of salt. Mat 5:13 ASV - Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost its savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under foot of men. The valley where she fell is to this called salt valley. Hbr 10:29 ASV - of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? She (Lots wife) had to look one more time. Well I don't mean this to discourage you or hinder you, But Gods hand is once again reaching out to those who would believe and he will lead you out and deliver you with the hand of his word which is Christ Jesus the word made flesh. He is truly our father and his LOVE endures for ever. 1Pe 2:7 ASV - For you therefore that believe is the preciousness: but for such as disbelieve, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner;
1Pe 2:8 ASV - and, A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence; for they stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
1Pe 2:9 ASV - But ye are a elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for [God's] own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
God Bless You All
Col 1:4 ASV - having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have toward all the saints,
Col 1:5 ASV - because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,

That I May Know Him
This is an excerpt from Day by Day by Grace Bob Hoekstra
To live by grace, one must trust in the Lord. David urged others to trust in the Lord. "Trust in the LORD…feed on His faithfulness…Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him" (Psalm 37:3, 5). David himself trusted in the Lord. "In God I have put my trust." Part of trusting in the Lord involves holding His word in an exalted place (trusting in it, honoring it, praising it). David proclaimed, "I will praise His word." This is an inherent part of living by grace, since it is "the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance" (Acts 20:32).
God's word is so trustworthy, so praiseworthy. David proclaimed the unique character of God's word, which gives the word its incomparable effectiveness. "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul" (Psalm 19:7a). God's word is fully sufficient. The Lord has left nothing out of it that we need for spiritual development. Therefore, it can transform lives into what God wants them to be.
Furthermore, "The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple" (Psalm 19:7b). The Scriptures are absolutely reliable. They provide God's indisputable insights into life on earth, as well as necessary preparation for heaven. Consequently, they bring the Lord's wisdom to those who humbly admit that they need it.
Additionally, "The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart" (Psalm 19:8a). The Bible alone is irrefutably correct. Man's perspectives, opinions, systems, and theories are riddled with inaccuracies and fallacies. What a joy this brings to the inner man, knowing that there is a place to find the Lord's absolute realities..
Moreover, "The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes" (Psalm 19:8b). God's word is holy and untainted. Man's words are polluted with sin and self and all sorts of unrighteousness. When people feed on the contaminated words of humanity, their eyes become dull and lifeless. Contrastingly, when the words of the Lord are consistently taken in, one's eyes shine with heaven's light.
Upon consideration of the unparalleled character and ability of God's word, it is no surprise that the Spirit of God inspired David to exclaim, "You have magnified Your word above all Your name."

------------------------------------------------------------------
So when I read this it brings so much peace to me,and I hope I can live it and that it becomes alive in me,the very nature of Christ.
But this word is so true, and when I read this it reminded me of a song my family sings when we get together, it is melody with the word of God. You cant help from closing your eyes and softly sing this word it is precious all together . The lord showed me his word the spoken word is like a force an invisible yet present force standing all about us it stands with Gods life in it, ready to perform upon our declaration of Faith in it. This word is sure and steadfast to us and for us, Jesus when he was at the weakest time of his life, the forty days of fasting just before he began his ministry. The devil came, not at the beginning, but at the end when he was weak from lack of food and water, Isa 58:5 KJV - Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? [is it] to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes [under him]? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?
Isa 58:6 KJV - [Is] not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? and his flesh was suffering. The devil came to him, the same devil that comes to us in our weakest times,it may be physical weakness it may be when your faith is being tried but he wants to take you when you are at a very low point. The carnal man is very demanding he demands you serve him first,when you neglect him he will let you know. The word says that the flesh is against God, Jam 4:4 KJV - Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. It is very plain here is it not, So then we say why did God make us this way, great question think that if God is and he will share his glory with no MAN then it means our father has a great plan for us. Rom 9:17 ASV - For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, For this very purpose did I raise thee up, that I might show in thee my power, and that my name might be published abroad in all the earth.
Rom 9:18 ASV - So then he hath mercy on whom he will, and whom he will be hardeneth.
Rom 9:19 ASV - Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he still find fault? For who withstandeth his will?
Rom 9:20 ASV - Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why didst thou make me thus?
Rom 9:21 ASV - Or hath not the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?
Rom 9:22 ASV - What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering vessels of wrath fitted unto destruction:
Rom 9:23 ASV - and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he afore prepared unto glory,
Rom 9:24 ASV - [even] us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles? The word said God formed Adam from the dust of the earth and so we to after Adam are made in the likeness of his flesh, the word says where Adam brought death to this flesh, Christ brought the spirit of life to the soul. we shall never die in our spirit but this old man has an appointment to keep. Flesh and blood will not enter the kingdom of God, but a mans spirit will live for ever it will never die your spirit or soul will never die, so where will it live in the end of time, eternity. Is there a hell is there a place of judgment for those that do not believe his word. When people question this they don't believe the word of God, they do not know the word therefore they don't believe . Jesus spoke many times of the coming judgments coming upon this earth. So when the word calls us to attention and demands us to commit ourselves to this word, Gen 3:1 ASV - Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of ANY TREE of the garden? To listen to the devil is where Eve went wrong 2Cr 10:5 KJV - Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
and then to converse with him is where she fell, He is the father of lies
Gen 3:2 ASV - And the woman said unto the serpent, Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat: Doubt was already creeping in, he twisted the word of God and put doubt in her
Gen 3:3 ASV - but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. The word of God says only of one tree do not eat. God said they could eat from any tree but one including the tree of life, why do you suppose they never got around to the tree of life why would they not partake of this tree,I think because the devil told her that she would be wise if she ate from the tree of knowledge, and so it was, it was about her and her flesh not God. There is remedy here for us, Jesus spoke to the devil in the day of his fast, but he spoke only the word of God it is written he spoke only the word of God. The only thing the devil has in common with us is our flesh, it is his tool to destroy us, He cannot stand light the light of Gods word, this word makes him run, this word makes him flee. Jam 4:7 ASV - Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Have you ever wondered why the people in the old testament never fought against the devil ,they never resisted this devil that we know about. Why because they were a living example in their flesh, they were living out the life of Gods people in the future. So when you read it again (the old testament) they were fighting in the flesh the things we fight in the spirit, types and shadows of the new. They were fighting against their wills, their own flesh, to surrender, to believe and submit to Gods word. Their lives were contrary to what God said. So they were actually fighting their own flesh.I hope I do not lose you or confuse you. 1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jo 2:17 ASV - And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. The Jordan was a crossing over from the old to the new, the water was a separating of the flesh and the spirit, God told Joshua to take twelve stones out of the Jordan, the water of separation, twelve men twelve stones, the men represents the apostles and the true doctrine, the gospel of Christ. and the stones was Jesus, the rock of offense, the stone of stumbling , they walked through the water out of the flesh and into the spiritual world. Jericho is a type of our flesh a strong city a fortified city. A city God said to destroy completely (David had to destroy Goliath a type of OUR flesh, and cut off its head,denying our self and putting on the mind of Christ, having the mind of Christ, his very nature. The word says for the perfecting of the saints, Through this glorious word we CAN BE MADE PERFECT in Christ.) everything must die. He told Joshua not to take anything out of this city but the gold and silver and these things had to be sanctified by fire and cleansed , Gold is a type of God and silver is a type of the blood of Christ and brass is a type of man. No man must bring anything out of the city but the precious metal .And it belonged to God. So now we come to Achan the sin of Achan Jos 6:21 ASV - And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, both young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword. Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Gal 5:19 ASV - Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]: fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal 5:20 ASV - idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, parties,
Gal 5:21 ASV - envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they who practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
The sword is the word of God Hbr 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart. We can see here than that Achan represents our flesh the carnal man in us, Jesus says to lose our life now if we are going to find our life in the end. Sin and disobeying the word of God is the devoted things in our life's. God gives us the gold and the silver and we give it back by laying down our life's to him Rom 12 :1-2. There is a devoted thing in the midst of thee, O Israel; thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the devoted thing from among you. Read this passage and see the whole story, Jos 7:24 ASV - And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the mantle, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them up unto the valley of Achor.
Jos 7:25 ASV - And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? Jehovah shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire, and stoned them with stones. Because of Achans sin thirty six men died and all of Achans house everything he had was burned and stoned. Luk 20:17 KJV - And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
Luk 20:18 KJV - Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
Jos 7:13 ASV - Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, There is a devoted thing in the midst of thee, O Israel; thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the devoted thing from among you. With sin in our life we can not defeat the enemy , sin is disobedience to the whole word of God. I know salvation is a walk, we walk daily in the truths that God gives us, he sent his word to heal us.And he is just 1Jo 1:7 ASV - but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1Jo 1:9 ASV - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
And we walk by faith that he is faithful and he will see us through if we remain faithful 1Th 5:24 ASV - Faithful is he that calleth you, who will also do it.
2Ti 2:13 ASV - if we are faithless, he abideth faithful; for he cannot deny himself. So Jericho is a type of our flesh and Achan is a type of our old sinful nature. And God took them out of the wildness and into the promise land Rom 9:24 ASV - [even] us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles?
Rom 9:25 ASV - As he saith also in Hosea, I will call that my people, which was not my people; And her beloved, that was not beloved. We must conquer the land ( our flesh) and take possession of our promised land the perfection through Christ. This water called Jordan went all the way back to a city called Adam the washing water of the word. He has made us a way of escape Jos 3:16 ASV - that the waters which came down from above stood, and rose up in one heap, a great way off, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those that went down toward the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, were wholly cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho. By faith Rahab saved her life and her family's , but Achen through disobedience lost his life and his whole family's life's.
Jam 4:7 ASV - Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
1Jo 2:16 KJV - For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. The Spirit of God inspired David to exclaim, "You have magnified Your word above all Your name."
Hbr 10:22 ASV - let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with [him] in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Isa 62:12 ASV - And they shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah: and thou shalt be called Sought out, A city not forsaken.
Hsa 2:23 ASV - And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them that were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, [Thou art] my God.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
To live by grace, one must trust in the Lord.

Rom 9:23 ASV - and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he afore prepared unto glory,
Rom 9:24 ASV - [even] us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles? The word said God formed Adam from the dust of the earth and so we to after Adam are made in the likeness of his flesh, the word says where Adam brought death to this flesh, Christ brought the spirit of life to the soul. we shall never die in our spirit but this old man has an appointment to keep. Flesh and blood will not enter the kingdom of God, but a mans spirit will live for ever it will never die your spirit or soul will never die, so where will it live in the end of time, eternity. Is there a hell is there a place of judgment for those that do not believe his word. When people question this they don't believe the word of God, they do not know the word therefore they don't believe . Jesus spoke many times of the coming judgments coming upon this earth. So when the word calls us to attention and demands us to commit ourselves to this word, Gen 3:1 ASV - Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of ANY TREE of the garden? To listen to the devil is where Eve went wrong 2Cr 10:5 KJV - Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
and then to converse with him is where she fell, He is the father of lies
Hbr 10:22 ASV - let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with [him] in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;

A measure of Faith
Eph 4:7 ASV - But unto each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Rom 12:3
Eph 4:8 ASV - Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men.
Eph 4:9 ASV - (Now this, He ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth?
Eph 4:10 ASV - He that descended is the same also that ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)
Eph 4:11 ASV - And he gave some [to be] apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 ASV - for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 ASV - till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a fullgrown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Eph 4:14 ASV - that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
This verse is the key that unlocks the truth of the verses above, turn it around and say if we dont be obedient to the work of his word in our lifes.We are children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error; Acts 19;13 the word Strolling in the greek, it is indicative of the so called men of today so called teachers of God. 2Ti 3:1 ASV - But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come.
2Ti 3:2 ASV - For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 ASV - without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,
2Ti 3:4 ASV - traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 ASV - holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. ( From these also turn away.) And we are seeing this in abundance, And the work comes when we can recognize and discern through the word of righteousness, what is good and what is evil. This word says that God ordained men to work in these Gifts. And it says he gave some to be, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; men that do not believe this and operate in these gifts than they are ,anti Jesus and having denied the power therefore. You should expect more than what you see today in the organized church, is the power of the Holy Ghost operating when you meet, are you being blessed by the Lord when you meet. Or do you leave worse off than when you went.
Praise God there is hope great hope, in his word in his word.
These Gifts are given for
Eph 4:12 ASV - for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: To conform into to be made like Jesus to be sons of God,everything Jesus was, is exactly what Your father expects of you. He was our example Death ,Burial, and Resurrection.
Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with [him] in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Rom 6:7 ASV - for he that hath died is justified from sin.
Rom 6:8 ASV - But if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him; 1Pe 2:21 ASV - For hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye should follow his steps: 2Cr 5:10 ASV - For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things [done] in the body, according to what he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad. Strong's Number: g968 Greek: bema
Judgment-Seat:
primarily, "a step, a pace" (akin to baino, "to go"), as in Act 7:5, translated "to set (his foot) on," lit., "foot-room," was used to denote a raised place or platform, reached by steps, originally that at Athens in the Pnyx Hill, where was the place of assembly; from the platform orations were made. The word became used for a tribune, two of which were provided in the law courts of Greece, one for the accuser and one for the defendant; it was applied to the tribunal of a Roman magistrate or ruler, Mat 27:19; Jhn 19:13; Act 12:21, translated "throne;" 18:12, 16, 17; 25:6, 10, 17.
In two passages the word is used of the Divine tribunal before which all believers are hereafter to stand. In Rom 14:10 it is called "The judgment seat of God," RV (AV, "of Christ"), according to the most authentic mss. The same tribunal is called "the judgment seat of Christ," 2Cr 5:10, to whom the Father has given all judgment, Jhn 5:22, 27. At this bema believers are to be made manifest, that each may "receive the things done in (or through) the body," according to what he has done, "whether it be good or bad." There they will receive rewards for their faithfulness to the Lord. For all that has been contrary in their lives to His will they will suffer loss, 1Cr 3:15. This judgment seat is to be distinguished from the premillennial, earthly throne of Christ, Mat 25:31, and the postmillennial "Great White Throne," Rev 20:11, at which only "the dead" will appear. The judgment-seat of Christ will be a tribunal held "in His Parousia," i.e., His presence with His saints after His return to receive them to Himself. 1Jo 2:5 ASV - but whoso keepeth his word, in him verily hath the love of God been perfected. Hereby we know that we are in him:
1Jo 2:6 ASV - he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.
I believe that if we touch the hand of God by Faith, and ask him to revel his word to us,that we desire to have the light of his word placed in our hearts, he will do it. Lord give us a hunger for your word, bring us into your perfection by truly gifted men you have called. Even to the point that we also have these gifts in us working in truth. The reason being is that the word says. Eph 3:10 ASV - to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly [places] might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God, It says through the church not one man or one ministry. No we each have a work to do and a truth to tell. ANYTHING OTHER THAN THIS IS PERVERTING THE WORD OF GOD,making the word of God of no effect. God does not wink at sin ,sin will separate you from God, living in sin is to be under the law again, and to be under the law is to bring the curses. The law was not done away with it was fulfilled through Christ. The law is still in effect today . That is why the word says Gal 3:13 ASV - Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Rom 8:2 ASV - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
1Cr 15:56 ASV - The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law: 1Pe 2:24 ASV - who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed. Sickness has no more hold on us WHO BELIEVE. Pro 26:2 ASV - As the sparrow in her wandering, as the swallow in her flying, So the curse that is causeless alighteth not. Mat 17:2 ASV - and he was transfigured before them; and his face did shine as the sun, and his garments became white as the light. 1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.
God bless you all
Eph 4:8 ASV - Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men.
Eph 4:9 ASV - (Now this, He ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth?
Eph 4:10 ASV - He that descended is the same also that ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)
Eph 4:11 ASV - And he gave some [to be] apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:14 ASV - that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

A stone of stumbling A rock of offense
http://www.bibleistrue.com/qna/pqna73.htm This is a place where Moses brought The children of Israel Deu 2:24 ASV - Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the valley of the Arnon: behold, I have given into thy hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle. The Arnon Gorge it is still there today. Deu 1:20 ASV - And I said unto you, Ye are come unto the hill-country of the Amorites, which Jehovah our God giveth unto us.
Deu 1:21 ASV - Behold, Jehovah thy God hath set the land before thee: go up, take possession, as Jehovah, the God of thy fathers, hath spoken unto thee; fear not, neither be dismayed.
Deu 1:22 ASV - And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said, Let us send men before us, that they may search the land for us, and bring us word again of the way by which we must go up, and the cities unto which we shall come.
Deu 1:23 ASV - And the thing pleased me well; and I took twelve men of you, one man for every tribe:
Deu 1:24 ASV - and they turned and went up into the hill-country, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and spied it out.
Deu 1:25 ASV - And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which Jehovah our God giveth unto us.
Deu 1:26 ASV - Yet ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of Jehovah your God:
Deu 1:27 ASV - and ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because Jehovah hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.
Deu 1:34 ASV - And Jehovah heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying,
Deu 1:35 ASV - Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see the good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
Deu 1:37 ASV - Also Jehovah was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither:
Num 20:7 ASV - And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
Num 20:8 ASV - Take the rod, and assemble the congregation, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes, that it give forth its water; and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock; so thou shalt give the congregation and their cattle drink.
Num 20:9 ASV - And Moses took the rod from before Jehovah, as he commanded him.
Num 20:10 ASV - And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; shall we bring you forth water out of this rock?
Num 20:11 ASV - And Moses lifted up his hand, and smote the rock with his rod twice: and water came forth abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their cattle.
Num 20:12 ASV - And Jehovah said unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed not in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them. Luke 14-26 "If you want to be my follower you must love me more than* your own father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters--yes, more than your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple. In all this the Lord is saying nothing short of complete Faith in him, trusting him with your very life itself, laying our life's down for him if we fall short. Everything in these verses are pointing to the promised land, its about life eternal the types and the shadows are ever present. God did not tell Moses to pick twelve spies, the people told Moses and Moses said it pleased me. Where was God in this decision ,but he was still a father watching over them. God said go and posses the land I have given you it was already done, doubt and unbelief. A double minded man will not receive from God. He is unstable in ALL his ways. Jesus was looking for faith he was looking for them to believe, Jesus did not weep when he stood at the tomb of Lazarus because he loved him much, he cried because they did not believe, He told Martha did I not tell you to believe, just believe. His disciples said now we understand Lord and Jesus said now do you believe. Moses let his flesh get involved and sent out the spies. They spoke we know God said but!! lets just make sure first,and he bent to their will and relented. No! that's not trusting God, FAITH is the substance of things hope for things unseen. If you can touch it, feel it ,or smell it where is your faith. Rom 3:4 ASV - God forbid: yea, let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, And mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment. Psa 119:160 ASV - The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances [endureth] for ever. If you want to please God walk in the light the word is light. For every wall we build we have the power through his word to walk in those promises, But the plumb line is in that word and that wall has to be straight. The house must be built upon the rock, God told Moses speak to the rock just speak to the rock and out will come water. The first time God said strike the rock, and that was his ransom paid for you and I, Christ only dies once. We can not put him upon the cross again and again, he died once for all time. You do not have to sin any more we are free from the power of sin it has no hold on you any more if we sin its because we choose to, but we have an advocate in Christ 1Jo 1:7 ASV - but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1Jo 1:9 ASV - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
The rock is Jesus and the water is his word the cleansing water of the word . Jam 1:13 ASV - Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempteth no man:
Jam 1:14 ASV - but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.
Jam 1:15 ASV - Then the lust, when it hath conceived, beareth sin: and the sin, when it is fullgrown, bringeth forth death.
Hbr 2:1 ASV - Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things that were heard, lest haply we drift away [from them].
Hbr 2:2 ASV - For if the word spoken through angels proved stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;
Hbr 2:3 ASV - how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard;
Hbr 2:4 ASV - God also bearing witness with them, both by signs and wonders, and by manifold powers, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will.
Hbr 2:5 ASV - For not unto angels did he subject the world to come, whereof we speak.
Hbr 2:10 ASV - For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Hbr 2:11 ASV - For both he that sanctifieth and they that are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Isa 53:7 KJV - He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
Isa 53:8 KJV - He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
Isa 53:9 KJV - And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth.
Isa 53:10 KJV - Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. Hbr 6:1 KJV - Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
If today I could personally set and look you in the eyes and proclaim this word to you or you to me, would it offend you or would you be glad for the word spoken, would you believe you have been singled out for some reason. Would build your faith and give you hope. I hid from this word for some time God gave me a dream one night,I saw my self in a forest there were trees very large trees all around me. the dream was in the night it was dark I was standing in this forest and I saw a bright light shining through the trees and when it would came my way I would hide behind one of the large trees it would go back and forth searching through the trees and I was the only one in this forest. I would jump from one tree to another to hide from the bright light. For several days I would ponder this dream and wonder what it could mean. Several months went by and it began to slip my mind. Until one day the Lord came upon me with a great chastening, at the time I did not know what was happening I was just completely overwhelmed with this thing that was putting me on my face day and night. And until God puts us in a place such as this we really cant see who we are ,how does God see us. And because he Loves us so much he chastens us with his love. And brings to a place where we can not hide any more. For several months I was being work on by my Dad and he was speaking and I was listening, God has a way to get our attention he puts a nail in our shoe and we cant go any where. I am so grateful to The Lord for his correction and the ability to know his love for me. He wants to show his love to us he wants us to hold him close to our hearts and experience his love. Its beyond human understanding it goes so much deeper than I could have imagined. We cant hide any more time is short and the Lord has opened a window for those he loves so much. The trees where people just people all around, and when we are surrounded by people we lose sight of our individual position with God,where we stand as an individual and as a corporate body of believers. The body of Christ is made up of many individual believers. Each one of us is a soul needing this great salvation. So your father deals with you on an individual basis. You know Peter said it this way ,when Jesus told Peter he was called to feed his sheep and also he would give his life for that calling Peter began to see trees all around him(hiding in the night in the dark) and said but Lord(speaking of John just another tree) what about him what is going to happen to him. And we know what Jesus said what about John, its you I am looking at Peter. Pride and arrogance foolishness and not being accustom to the word of righteousness put me in that forest. But Gods great light is shining brightly and he found me and yes I was lost. The things I thought were true and the life I was living had to go I had to come out in the light and let the word of God begin to wash me. And it is still washing me. I was playing my guitar and just singing to the Lord one day. And he gave me a line in a song and it said, And as the dew that falls upon sweet blossoms the Lord kissed my cheek and told me he loves me. And I said oh Lord how can this be, my heart was broken and I knew he was there with me. And he said read Song of songs chapter 2. And when I read that word I see now just how much he wants to have that close relationship with all his children. That is why I write this today to you, just to you to encourage you and cause your faith to ring aloud, some one is watching you and listening to you some one who needs their faith bolstered to line up with the whole word of God. That we set our face as flint to press on to the high calling of God that we may know the power of his resurrection,the fellowship of his suffering and being made conformable onto his death that we may know him yes that we may know him. God is calling people out, out into the light 1Jo 1:7 ASV - but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin. I believe we are coming to our own Arnon River Gorge,if you click on the web site you can see this valley just as the children of God saw it. But God said I will fight for you I will bring you into your promise land just believe. We must understand one thing now before we go any farther, this old man will not inter into the promise land of God, This mortal flesh body will be changed and than we will meet him in the air 1Th 4:16 ASV - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first;
1Th 4:17 ASV - then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1Cr 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Cr 15:51 ASV - Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Cr 15:52 ASV - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Cr 15:53 ASV - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Cr 15:54 ASV - But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 1Cr 15:26 ASV - The last enemy that shall be abolished is death. David Wilkerson wrote, The Lord is looking for believers who are not satisfied with sifting through

SALT OF THE EARTH
The Lord is looking for believers who are not satisfied with sifting through all the conflicting voices to find a true word. He wants us to hunger for a revelation of him that is all our own—a deep, personal intimacy. The word says depart from me for I never knew you, and another says depart from me I do not know whose house you are from. To be borne again is to be born of his spirit, the word says that Mary was over shadowed by the Holy Spirit, and conceived a child ,the seed she received was Gods seed not the seed of a man. Jesus was conceived by his fathers blood, Mary only gave him flesh. To be borne again is to receive the very nature of Christ, and if we are born again than what are we born unto. Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!
Jhn 3:6 ASV - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. The word says we are born twice and we will die twice. Phl 3:8 ASV - Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ,
Phl 3:9 ASV - and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, [even] that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:
Phl 3:10 ASV - that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;
Phl 3:11 ASV - if by any means I may attain unto the resurrection from the dead. Paul said a man without the Holy Spirit is a walking dead man. Alive in the flesh but dead spiritually, so the verses above are speaking of our cross. Mar 15:30 ASV - save thyself, and come down from the cross. God is not interested in our flesh,if you come off of your cross and find your life you will lose it again in the second death Rev 20:6 ASV - Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: over these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
2Cr 5:14 NLT - Whatever we do, it is because Christ's love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for everyone, we also believe that we have all died to the old life we used to live.
2Cr 5:15 NLT - He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live to please themselves. Instead, they will live to please Christ, who died and was raised for them.
2Cr 5:16 NLT - So we have stopped evaluating others by what the world thinks about them. Once I mistakenly thought of Christ that way, as though he were merely a human being. How differently I think about him now!
2Cr 5:17 NLT - What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!
2Cr 5:18 NLT - All this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the task of reconciling people to him.
2Cr 5:19 NLT - For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others. Jhn 4:23 ASV - But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers. Jhn 4:24 ASV - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth. Jhn 14:4 ASV - And whither I go, ye know the way.
Jhn 14:5 ASV - Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way?
Jhn 14:6 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

2Sa 23:16 ASV - And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Beth-lehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: but he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto Jehovah.

With the Heart and with the Mouth
Psa 19:1 NLT - For the choir director: A psalm of David. The heavens tell of the glory of God. The skies display his marvelous craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known.
- They speak without a sound or a word; their voice is silent in the skies;
yet their message has gone out to all the earth, and their words to all the world. The sun lives in the heavens where God placed it.
It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding. It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race.
The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat.
The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
The commandments of the LORD are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are clear, giving insight to life.
Reverence for the LORD is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the LORD are true; each one is fair.
They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb.
They are a warning to those who hear them; there is great reward for those who obey them.
How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults.
Keep me from deliberate sins! Don't let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin.
May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.
Beauty is in the heart of the beholder , and we behold his beautiful word. Its the water that quenches a dry thirst its the rain with life to those that receive it.Fill us up oh GOD wash us with the water of your word.
God bless you all

That no one take your crown
A study in Luke 19:11-28
Luk 19:11 ASV - And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and [because] they supposed that the kingdom of God was immediately to appear. Rom 14:17 ASV - for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. The kingdom of God is among us now its in the hearts of his children.Jesus said when deamons obey your voice of command and go behold the kingdom of God is come upon you. The kingdom is the power of God in his people to live and minister the Gospel in all faithfulnes
Luk 19:12 ASV - He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country, to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. This is Jesus coming to his own he is that nobleman. Nobleman in the greek is of noble birth borne of God. He says he has come to do the fathers will,he only speaks what he hears. He has come to render the kingdom back unto his father.
Luk 19:13 ASV - And he called ten servants of his, and gave them ten pounds, and said unto them, Trade ye [herewith] till I come. The Number Ten
It has been already pointed out that ten is one of the perfect numbers, and signifies the perfection of Divine order, commencing, as it does, an altogether new series of numbers. The first decade is the representative of the whole numeral system, and originates the system of calculation called "decimals," because the whole system of numeration consists of so many tens, of which the first is a type of the whole. Completeness of order, marking the entire round of anything, is, therefore, the ever-present signification of the number ten. It implies that nothing is wanting; that the number and order are perfect; that the whole cycle is complete.
Luk 19:14 ASV - But his citizens hated him, and sent an ambassage after him, saying, We will not that this man reign over us. Luk 23:21 ASV - but they shouted, saying, Crucify, crucify him. Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
Luk 19:15 ASV - And it came to pass, when he was come back again, having received the kingdom, that he commanded these servants, unto whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by trading. 2Cr 5:10 ASV - For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things [done] in the body, according to what he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad. Jhn 15:8 ASV - Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and [so] shall ye be my disciples. Jhn 4:34 ASV - Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to accomplish his work.
Rev 20:12 ASV - And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:15 ASV - And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.\
Luk 19:16 ASV - And the first came before him, saying, Lord, thy pound hath made ten pounds more. Jhn 12:24 ASV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and [so] shall ye be my disciples.
Luk 19:17 ASV - And he said unto him, Well done, thou good servant: because thou wast found faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities Rev 17:14 ASV - These shall war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they [also shall overcome] that are with him, called and chosen and faithful.
Luk 19:18 ASV - And the second came, saying, Thy pound, Lord, hath made five pounds.
Luk 19:19 ASV - And he said unto him also, Be thou also over five cities . Mat 25:21 ASV - His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things; enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Luk 19:20 ASV - And another came, saying, Lord, behold, [here is] thy pound, which I kept laid up in a napkin: Hbr 11:6 ASV - And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing [unto him]; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.
Luk 19:21 ASV - for I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that which thou layedst not down, and reapest that which thou didst not sow. Austere in Greek Strong's Number: g840 Greek: austeros
Austere: Austeros is not necessarily a term of reproach, whereas skleros is always so, and indicates a harsh, even inhuman, character. Austeros is "rather the exaggeration of a virtue pushed too far, It is to challange the love of God against his word for we are all bound to his word
Luk 19:22 ASV - He saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up that which I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow; Mat 15:11 ASV - Not that which entereth into the mouth defileth the man; but that which proceedeth out of the mouth, this defileth the man.

Luk 19:23 ASV - then wherefore gavest thou not my money into the bank, and I at my coming should have required it with interest? The word bank here means a table to eat on to consume, Jhn 6:51 ASV - I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world. the pound here is the gift of the word of God to produce fruit of the spirit
Luk 19:24 ASV - And he said unto them that stood by, Take away from him the pound, and give it unto him that hath the ten pounds. The natural or fleshly thing to do here is become jealous and envious of another brother,he already has plenty why give him more lord
Luk 19:25 ASV - And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.
Luk 19:26 ASV - I say unto you, that unto every one that hath shall be given; Manifesting the righteous word,living the whole word with fear and conviction, Isa 61:3 ASV - to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified. Garland in Heb head-dress, ornament, turban or crown of life. Ashes in this verse Heb worthlessness. 1Cr 1:26 ASV - For behold your calling, brethren, that not many wise after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]:

Rev 3:5 ASV - He that overcometh shall thus be arrayed in white garments; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. The word Blot in this verse in greek Strong's Number: g1813 Greek: exaleipho
Blot Out:
from ek, "out," used intensively, and aleipho, "to wipe," signifies "to wash, or to smear completely." Hence, metaphorically, in the sense of removal, "to wipe away, wipe off, obliterate;" Act 3:19, of sins; Col 2:14, of writing; Rev 3:5, of a name in a book; Rev 7:17; 21:4, of tears.
