The battle is for your mind

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Mat 16:19 ASV - I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. The word bind is to forbid to happen, Strong's Number: g1210 Greek: deo

Bind, Binding (See Also Bound):
"to bind," is used

(a) literally, of any sort of "binding," e.g., Act 22:5; 24:27,

(b) figuratively, of the Word of God, as not being "bound," 2Ti 2:9, i.e., its ministry, course and efficacy were not hindered by the bonds and imprisonment suffered by the Apostle. A woman who was bent together, had been "bound" by Satan through the work of a demon, Luk 13:16. Paul speaks of himself, in Act 20:22, as being "bound in prison. to loose is Strong's Number: g3089 Greek: luo

Break, Breaker, Breaking, Brake:
"to loosen," especially by way of deliverance, sometimes has the meaning of "breaking, destructively," e.g., of "breaking" commandments, not only infringing them, but loosing the force of them, rendering them not binding, We can choose to bind and loose the word of God in our life just as we bind and loose the devil. Its all about your mind, and the devil is after your mind. First comes thoughts, than comes your emotions, and after your emotions get involved there comes actions. So the devil plants a thought and waits, he wants to see if you will bite the bait. And When we entertain the thought we began to THINK and that's the problem. It says casting down every thought that goes against the word of God. And then all manner of unrighteousness comes into our minds and in our mouths. From cursing to fleshly confessing we go into a rage, little fiery darts is what it is. And before we know it we are hook. Now the more we read the word the more we grow in grace, the power to overcome, the power to know when we are being attacked. The bible says we are saved by Grace, notice the word saved ,it is an ongoing process. We are being saved daily . Rom 10:10 ASV - for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Thats if our hearts condemn us not. Sin brings condemnation, when we sin we go opposite the word of God.And than the devil becomes your accuser before God.Do you ever wonder why people hide sin in their life's, they are hiding it from other people because they are condemned, but not from God and he sees all and knows all. The devil knows that also,darkness is reveled by light. Gen 4:7 this is what God told Cain, You will be accepted if you respond in the right way. But if you refuse to respond correctly, then watch out! Sin is waiting to attack and destroy you, and you must subdue it."Jhn 1:5 ASV - And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not. Notice the word apprehend here, it is not comprehend as some say, to apprehend is to lay hold of, to reach out by faith and believe. To comprehend is to try and understand something first, then try to apprehend something. Police officers already have the authority,they are given power by there badge so they go out and apprehend something. Jesus is our authority our badge so to speak. You have the authority through Christ, you must exercise it by faith. Jam 1:7 ASV - For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord;
Jam 1:8 ASV - a double minded man, unstable in all his ways.The kingdom of God is light and light takes away darkness. And that light is the word of God, In this glorious walk, we are walking in the kingdom already,the kingdom is among men.Jesus said the the kingdom has come upon you. The kingdom is not in our fleshly desires,not meat nor drink, but righteousness ,peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Eph 6:11 ASV - Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. You are being fitted now by God and his word, fitted with the Armour of righteousness to withstand the devil. Hbr 5:12 ASV - For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food.Hbr 5:13 ASV - For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the word of righteousness; for he is a babe. Word of righteousness is our discernment our guide.Jam 4:7 ASV - Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Eph 6:13 ASV - Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.Eph 6:14 ASV - Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,Eph 6:15 ASV - and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 ASV - withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil [one].
Eph 6:17 ASV - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:Come stand upon this high place,in my light which is made of faith, and be still and know your God. For every blessing is yours and there is no power above my power.And there is no God like your God the God of your salvation. Hold firm your conviction,your confession and by your faith you will see me, for just as I am, so shall you be, if you hide my word in your heart.Dont think that I am to far to hear you, Do not think as the children in the desert,they saw my love many times and still believed not. I have saved you by my Grace yes and the gift of faith.But then you say where is my God is he here is he hearing me when I speak. Listen child I am not only in your heart but I am in my word. When you say where is God? I am behind you, I am in front of you ,I am all around you. I am in control, if you love me you will obey me.

Rom 8:38 ASV - For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
Rom 8:39 ASV - nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Luk 17:8 ASV - and will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? CHRIST SAYS AND GIRD THY SELF!
Strong's Number: g4024 Greek: perizonnumi

Gird, Girded, Girt (About, Up):
"to gird around or about," is used

(a) literally, of "girding" oneself for service, Luk 12:37; 17:8; for rapidity of movement, Act 12:8;

(b) figuratively, of the condition for service on the part of the followers of Christ, Luk 12:35; Eph 6:14;

(c) emblematically, of Christ's priesthood, Rev 1:13, indicative of majesty of attitude and action, the Middle Voice suggesting the particular interest taken by Christ in "girding" Himself thus; so of the action of the angels mentioned in Rev 15:6.

God bless you all
