The breaking of the day has come
Gen 32:24 ASV - And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
Gen 32:25 ASV - And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was strained, as he wrestled with him.
Gen 32:26 ASV - And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
Gen 32:27 ASV - And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
Gen 32:28 ASV - And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for thou hast striven with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
Gen 32:29 ASV - And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
Gen 32:30 ASV - And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for, [said he], I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
It says even to this day the Jews will not eat the sinew of the lamb in respect for the patriarch Jacob
In this verse we see that Jacob saw his life and how he lived it if you want to say he was repentant to the fact he did not trust God completely. He had a fear of God but not a clean fear. He believed God to an extent but he had not totally given his whole life to God. We see where God worked with him in every area of his life. Now please keep in mind the fact that we as children of God are living in the spirit world and Jacob was living in the natural world , people in that day lived unto their flesh. The old testament is a type and a shadow of the spiritual to come through Christ. We live not to our flesh any longer but through the spirit of God . We obey not our flesh any longer but the spirit that dwells in us. It is Christ in you the hope of glory , If you look closely at this story Jacob went from walking in his own desires, to getting alone with God at the river Jabbock, and Jabbock in the Heb means a pouring out. Jacob emptied himself of all that was in him , for us as children we must fall on the rock and be broken And we must pour ourselves out, surrender all that we are in this world. You see when Jacob came to this very place in his life he was in a corner he was boxed in and he saw no way out. He feared Esau and his men, he had just spent twenty years with Laban. Now twenty is a number of redemption,a time of waiting . Paul in his writing calls it a maturing, maturity of a man . All Jacob had amassed in those twenty years went on over the brook with his servants. Than his wife's and his children. He pushed everything he had ahead of himself. And he was alone ,do you think Jacob was a praying man to the point where he fell on his knees and said God its just you and I now I can run no farther I am at the end of my journey in this life. It is a wonderful story of repentance , and repentance is so abused in this day and time also the altar is abused ,the only altar we have as believers is the cross. And the cross is an instrument of suffering. It is to crucify the deeds of our flesh. Repent It simply means to change ones mind , it looks like to me Jacob has had a change of mind. But as you read on, his repentance was real because it produced fruit in his life. We can not fool God and think we can play games with God , That is why when I would go to a group of believers or an assembly of people claiming to know God . And yet the same people would come to the altar ever Sunday, and go through the motions of sorrow and brokenness, that sorrow is a working of death in them . Their is no fruit in a mans flesh only death, 2Cr 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, [a repentance] which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death .Lets look at Jacob and the moment he was all alone . He set this up this very moment in his heart he was broken at this moment he was truly seeking God. His sorrow was generated by all the promises God had made to him , his being blessed by God over and over. He saw God in all this and his heart was broken. A Godly sorrow He finally come to a place of surrender. I want to bring out the spiritual aspect of the event as it occurred, Gen 32:1 ASV - And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him. When he saw the angels of God he saw his whole life all that God had done for him. He said he went from nothing to a enormous family all because of God. Now his faith is going to be tested . 2Pe 1:19 ASV - And we have the word of prophecy [made] more sure; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts: Jacob saw angels and the angels at that moment were a testimony of Gods love. But we have his very word as a testimony of his love for us in this very day. People in that day needed a sign to believe, our sign is Christ in you the hope of Glory we have his sure word living in us. Jacob was seeing all the wonderful blessing of God for him. And how God provided for him in it all. His outward blessing were abundant but the inward blessings were empty to the fact he worshiped God with his lips but his heart was far from him . This was a day of reckoning a show down with God . How many of us run from this place Jacob was in. When we feel God getting close to our hearts we move away. The time is coming where you will not be able to move away without leaving completely. A man came to Jacob , and Jacob called him God in the end. Gen 32:24 ASV - And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. A man it says Gen 32:25 ASV - And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was strained, as he wrestled with him.
I want to recall another scripture that parallels this. Jdg 13:18 ASV - And the angel of Jehovah said unto him, Wherefore askest thou after my name, seeing it is wonderful? Was Jacob wrestling with Jesus, it says a man. I have left out a lot of things , the story is speaking to those that are in a situation of no more retreat , do not miss the Lord my friend in this hour. The word says he chasten those whom he loves and if you are being chasten by the lord,the only thing to do is surrender just like Jacob do not let go until God blesses you. Jacob was crippled in his body by God he limped the rest of his life as a testimony he was with God and he changed him. Now we are living in the spirit and God wants to change us spiritually he wants to bring us into his kingdom. God is putting in us, his heart of flesh he wants to write his word upon our hearts. Rom 8:14 ASV - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God
Rom 8:19 ASV - For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revealing of the sons of God
Gal 3:26 ASV - For ye are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus.
The word says that God changed his name to Israel, Gen 32:28 ASV - And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for thou hast striven with God and with men, and hast prevailed. Israel in Heb is God prevails , Jacob it says had striven with God, and striven in the Heb , to persevere, contend with. Look it says with men and with God, men represents the world and all it has the lust of the flesh the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. And in the end with God there was only one way for Jacob and he realized it, he needed God . He changed his mind and prevailed over his flesh and God blessed him spiritually this time, and he was changed forever. One more lesson to see in this story, and that is to this very day the Jewish people in their religion they still will not eat the sinew of the Lamb as a reminder of Jacobs struggle at Jabbock. It says he saw the face of God and lived , Exd 12:5 ASV - Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old: ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:
Exd 12:6 ASV - and ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at even.
Exd 12:7 ASV - And they shall take of the blood, and put it on the two side-posts and on the lintel, upon the houses wherein they shall eat it.
Exd 12:8 ASV - And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Exd 12:9 ASV - Eat not of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire; its head with its legs and with the inwards thereof.
Exd 12:10 ASV - And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
It says you will eat the whole lamb consume the whole lamb. For he is our passover when the angel sees the blood he will pass you over . The Jewish people just like a lot of Gods called people today are not seeing the face of God . They cannot see Christ and live Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: The letter of the law is what they are seeing, they can not see the spirit of the law of liberty the law of life everlasting. 2Cr 3:6 ASV - who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. Jhn 3:3 ASV - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Jhn 3:4 ASV - Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!
Jhn 3:6 ASV - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Jabbok is calling people out and it is the only way to the kingdom of God , Jhn 10:7 ASV - Jesus therefore said unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
Jhn 10:9 ASV - I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture. Surrender you heart and your life to God and live. One last thought when it says that God touched Jacob in the hallow of his thigh , the word hallow is interesting to the fact it is speaking of Jacob laying down his life to God totally surrendering his whole life to God at that moment and that is where God touched him, in his surrender he crippled him for ever he changed Jacob for ever.

The story of Lot lives on.
2Pe 2:7 KJV - And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
VEXED in Greek: kataponeo
Distress, Distressed:
primarily, "to tire down with toil, exhaust with labor" (kata, "down," ponos, "labor"), hence signifies "to afflict, oppress;" in the Passive Voice, "to be oppressed, much distressed;" it is translated "oppressed" in Act 7:24, and "sore distressed" in 2Pe 2:7, RV, (AV, "vexed").
to tire down with toil, exhaust with labour
a) to afflict or oppress with evils
b) to make trouble for
c) to treat roughly
2 PETER 2
1.
false prophets, false teachers denying the Lord
2. many shall follow their pernicious ways ,the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And many shall follow their lascivious doings This chapter is about the people of God not rank sinners. Paul himself said he can not judge a man out side the church. We also can not judge the lost, so who is Peter speaking of in this whole chapter. The word says if you see a BROTHER in sin !! Not a lost person.
3. In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction will not be delayed. covetousness , make merchandise of you
4.God spared not the angels, delivered [them] into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5. spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth [person] a preacher of righteousness
6. turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes , making [them] an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
7. delivered just Lot Greek: rhuomai
Deliver, Deliverance, Deliverer:
"to rescue from, to preserve from," and so, "to deliver," the word by which it is regularly translated, is largely synonymous with sozo, "to save," though the idea of "rescue from" From that wrath believers are to be "delivered.
8. (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed [his] righteous soul from day to day with [their] unlawful deeds. 1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Jhn 15:19 ASV - If ye were of the world, the world would love its own: but because ye are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
9.The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations
10.But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government
Eph 1:20 KJV - Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set [him] at his own right hand in the heavenly [places],
Eph 1:21 KJV - Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: verse
11. Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. as in verse 10. Presumptuous [are they], selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities
12. But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed,
Natural in the greek 1) produced by nature, inborn
2) agreeable to nature
3) governed by (the instincts of) nature Greek: phusikos
Natural, Naturally:
originally signifying "produced by nature, inborn," from phusis, "nature" (see below), cp. Eng., "physical," "physics," etc., denotes
(a) "according to nature," Rom 1:26, 27;
(b) "governed by mere natural instincts," 2Pe 2:12, RV, "(born) mere animals," AV and RV marg., "natural (brute beasts)."
1Cr 15:38 ASV - but God giveth it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with [him] in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
13. 2Pe 2:13 ASV - suffering wrong as the hire of wrong-doing; [men] that count it pleasure to revel in the day-time, spots and blemishes, revelling in their deceivings while they feast with you;
Jud 1:11 ASV - Woe unto them! For they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah
14.
Jud 1:12 ASV - These are they who are hidden rocks in your love-feasts when they feast with you, shepherds that without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn leaves without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Hbr 9:27 ASV - And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this [cometh] judgment; Rev speaks of the second death. The first death is to die in our flesh , the second death here is to die in our spirit. Mans flesh must die but his soul will live forever. This is what this verse is speaking about , Twice dead plucked up by the roots,remember the fig tree jesus cursed. We be judged in the end according to our works in our flesh .2Cr 5:10 ASV - For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things [done] in the body, according to what he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad. Jesus said that we bare much fruit . The fig tree had no fruit so it was cursed . Twice dead, dead in our sins and dead in our spirit . And God breath in Adams nostrels and he became a living SOUL. Now the question is if your soul lives for ever. Where will it live, in paradise or in hell.
15. forsaking the right way, they went astray
16. but he was rebuked for his own transgression: a dumb ass spake with man's voice and stayed the madness of the prophet. This is mercy here of God to this man ,God willing to save him.
17. These are springs without water, and mists driven by a storm; for whom the blackness of darkness hath been reserved. These are not rank sinners they are people among you it says
18. For, uttering great swelling [words] of vanity, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by lasciviousness, those who are just escaping from them that live in error . Do we see Lot here in this, just escaping them . If it were possible even the elect would be decived.
19. promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he also brought into bondage. If we partake of this evil we will be overtaken by it, and become like them. 2Cr 3:17 ASV - Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, [there] is liberty
Gal 2:4 ASV - and that because of the false brethren privily brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
20. For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome, the last state is become worse with them than the first. Lot saw Abraham an his devotion to God his faith and his life. Lot knew the difference of the life styles he lived. And he was overcome by the very thing this verse 19 speaks of.
21. For it were better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered unto them. From verse one to this last verse, Peter was speaking of people that knew God and had a realationship of some kind with the Lord. And the holy commandment is.
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength
22. It has happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog turning to his own vomit again, and the sow that had washed to wallowing in the mire. It has happened unto them, to who ?. The only way to turn back from some thing is to have traveled in one direction and then to have turned back. This whole chapter is speaking to the church of LOT and not coming out of the world . There is a plan of God to save his people, just like LOT.
Hbr 12:25 ASV - See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not when they refused him that warned [them] on earth, much more [shall not] we [escape] who turn away from him that [warneth] from heaven:
Zec 11:17 ASV - Woe to the worthless shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened. This is saying that the word of God is the sword, and it will judge all of the worthless shepherds. Jhn 10:12 ASV - He that is a hireling, and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, beholdeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth, and the wolf snatcheth them, and scattereth [them]: Amo 8:11 ASV - Behold, the days come, saith the Lord Jehovah, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of Jehovah. These shepherds will flee, and the sheep that have trusted in them will be lost and have no true word to feed them in their trial and tribulations. The time is now to leave Sodom and depart and not look back . Get upon the mountain LOT go to the mountain to be saved. God remembered Abraham and saved LOT
Gen 8:1 ASV - And God remembered Noah, and all the beasts, and all the cattle that were with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;
Gen 30:22 ASV - And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.
Exd 2:24 ASV - And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
Gen 19:29 ASV - And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the Plain, that God REMEMBERED ! Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt.
Remember this, that the old testament was a type and a shadow ,these people live in the letter of the law. They represented the old law we are of the new law of liberty . 2Cr 3:6 ASV - who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. Where God remembered Lot and sent angels to gather Lot and his family. Even to the point of taking their hands and pulling them out of Sodom. Gen 19:15 ASV - And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters that are here, lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
Gen 19:16 ASV - But he lingered; and the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters, Jehovah being merciful unto him; and they brought him forth, and set him without the city. Now the word here in this verse is LINGERED IN THE HEB I am using this as a complete rendering of the word.
Now this is a very serious time, and at this moment the messengers of God are telling them to hurry. Fire from God is coming and you will be consumed in the iniquity of the city . And also the wrath of God will come with fire in our day. What do you suppose would cause a person to linger in such a desperate situation as this . This is life and death at that moment. Even in his righteousness LOT could not let go of his familiar surroundings. The world had a hold on Lot and his family, what does the verse say in 2 peter 2 -19 over come by the very thing they are trying to escape. Gen 19:17 ASV - And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the Plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.We have mountain also Jesus and Zion is our city. They told Lot to not look back as if to pine for the world and its lust thereof . God knows mans hearts and he is merciful . But we must know this Rev 3:16 ASV - So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth. Spew in the greek Greek: emeo
Spew (AV, Spue):
"to vomit" (cp. Eng., "emetic"), is used in Rev 3:16, figuratively of the Lord's utter abhorrence of the condition of the church at Laodicea. In the Sept., Isa 19:14.
Hbr 10:29 ASV - of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Gen 19:19 ASV - behold now, thy servant hath found favor in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy lovingkindness, which thou hast showed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest evil overtake me, and I die: Who was in charge of Lots life at this moment who drug him and his family out of Sodom. Do we see a lingering here again and yearning for the familar. If I have to go than not to far God I want to be able to see Sodom from a distance ! Oh my Gen 19:19 ASV - behold now, thy servant hath found favor in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy lovingkindness, which thou hast showed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest evil overtake me, and I die:
Gen 19:20 ASV - behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one. Oh let me escape thither (is it not a little one?), and my soul shall live.
Gen 19:21 ASV - And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow the city of which thou hast spoken.
Gen 19:22 ASV - Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. Zoar = "insignificance" Now God said go to the mountain Lot and Lot said look! a small and insignificant city,and the most amazing thing is that Zoar was in the plains, it was one of the cities in the plans to be destroyed. Hbr 11:8 ASV - By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed to go out unto a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
Hbr 11:9 ASV - By faith he became a sojourner in the land of promise, as in a [land] not his own, dwelling in tents, with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
Hbr 11:10 ASV - for he looked for the city which hath the foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Now Lot was willing to settle for a city a city of "insignificance" a city that had been condemned by God for destruction by FIRE . How is it that people continue to use the scripture 2Ch 7:14 ASV - if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now we must remember this is Old testament and the word land here is not speaking of America nor any other place on earth today. It is speaking of our souls that is the land to be conquered in this verse that is the land to be healed. We say we believe the whole word of God yet we are like Lot we want to hold on to our familiar things. I will ask you has this world been condemned by the word of God or not. Is revelations true or not. Every parable Jesus spoke was about the coming kingdom , and it was not the kingdom of the earth. It was the kingdom of God and his righteousness. The kingdom Jesus spoke of is to be manifested in our hearts now before he returns. There is no easy way out of the cross and its death to our flesh. To get upon the mountain is to forsake everything worldly and to go with Abraham into his Canaan land. And seek that city not made with hands. God is not going to restore this land or any land it this earth it has all been condemned by his word. The word says that Noah when he believed God and went about to build the Ark Hbr 11:7 ASV - By faith Noah, being warned [of God] concerning things not seen as yet, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
It says he condemned the world , was that in his flesh was that in every thing he did was that the faith that is the substance of things hoped for. To condemn the world here means there is nothing left worth saving. This is what Noah saw Rom 12:1 ASV - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your spiritual service.
Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Now we come to the place where the earth is being destroyed oh I forgot I mean Sodom. And
Gen 19:24 ASV - Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Jehovah out of heaven;
Gen 19:25 ASV - and he overthrew those cities, and all the Plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
Gen 19:26 ASV - But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
First of all Zoar was a plain city as we have seen. But Lot chose and begged to have Zoar, so God relented, now Gods plan is always the best plan. But we have always heard be careful what you pray for you might just get it. Now early in this story Sodom was a place of great beauty and splendor, it says even the Garden of God Gen 13:10 ASV - And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the Plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before Jehovah destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the garden of Jehovah, like the land of Egypt, as thou goest unto Zoar. Now Lot, and I am assuming was a benefactor of all that Abraham had . It says that he had much cattle and live stock ,gold and silver he was a very rich man. Lot was Abrams nephew his brothers son , and he was left without until Abram took him in. So everything Lot had as far as heard and stock it came from his uncle. And in this we can see some of Lots flaws he was thinking of himself and when Abraham said you choose where you will go and I will be satisfied. He saw with his eyes the lush green plains and the watered places. He wanted the best for himself. And that which grew upon the ground .And when Lot takes his leave what does God tell Abram everything you see is yours it is all yours , even Lots portion. Every thing that glitters is not gold. And we see that in the fact that God tells them when you go do not look back, depart quickly and do not look back. Now I want to go back to the verse again about if we humble ourselves God will heal our land. People today do not want this country or this land to go away .They love there life's and all they have , their stuff is more precious to them than God and his word . They will tell you that's not so, but if they began to lose it they will turn back to retrieve it. Mat 6:19 ASV - Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal: Mat 6:20 ASV - but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: It says that Jesus is seated on the right hand of God the right hand of God is his power and his strength, if we possess something with our right arm or our own strength that it is not of God.We have made it happen with our own ability. And it will not stand. Gen 19:26 ASV - But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. What was she looking for? did she have sorrow in her heart for the loss, did she feel heart ache for the city she loved more than God. It is a matter of our hearts Luk 6:45 ASV - The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil [man] out of the evil [treasure] bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Jer 17:9 ASV - The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it? So we give our heart to God in all things and believe his word . And walk in this word 2Pe 1:5 ASV - Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in [your] virtue knowledge;
2Pe 1:6 ASV - and in [your] knowledge self-control; and in [your] self-control patience; and in [your] patience godliness;
2Pe 1:7 ASV - and in [your] godliness brotherly kindness; and in [your] brotherly kindness love.
2Pe 1:8 ASV - For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Pe 1:9 ASV - For he that lacketh these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.
2Pe 1:10 ASV - Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble:
We are closing in on the finish line of our time here on this earth I know . If we make it to the end so be it if we leave before it so be it. In it all our God is just and perfect. The word says that in the moment that Christ when he died upon the cross. That the graves of the saints that had went before arose up out of their graves and went before him into the cities to proclaim their Lord. Wow how great is that. Now she Lots wife turned to salt for a very good reason. Salt is all in the word it is used in parables and it was used to preserve things Salt in the Greek Greek: halas Being possessed of purifying, perpetuating and antiseptic qualities, "salt" became emblematic of fidelity and friendship among eastern nations. To eat of a person's "salt" and so to share his hospitality is still regarded thus among the Arabs. So in Scripture, it is an emblem of the covenant between God and His people, Was God making a statement here why salt of all things, Judgment of God is what I see he is saying there is only one way to come unto him and expect his deliverance. His covenant between us and his son . And salt was only fitting for this judgment. And I have read some where that the place where she fell is to this day a valley of salt.
Psalms 91 is our salt of his covenant, our deliever in the day of trial. He is our strong tower to run into,our Ark of safety. And after it is all said and done Lot decided to go to the mountain after all, the city of Zoar was evil and he feared for his life. So he and his daughters went to live upon the mountain in a cave. Do you suppose that if they had followed the angels all the way out as God planned it would have been different. And also because of his lack of trust in the God of Abraham he was the progenitor of a race of people that became enemies of Gods chosen people. The spirit of Lot in today's church . Jesus was comparing the church or the so called church of this very day to the days of Noah and Lot . The people in there day were in rebellion to God and his commands his word is his commands and anything opposite of Gods word is what is called missing the mark or Sin. The comparison of the days of Noah and Lot to the Apostate church today is quite remarkable . If we go to Luke 17 -26 Life as the world sees it is in full bore as to the rebellion in the days of Noah and Lot . Gen 15:5 ASV - And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and number the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
Gal 3:16 ASV - Now to Abraham were the promises spoken, and to his seed. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Gal 3:17 ASV - Now this I say: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God, the law, which came four hundred and thirty years after, doth not disannul, so as to make the promise of none effect. Gal 3:8 ASV - And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand unto Abraham, [saying,] In thee shall all the nations be blessed. God had mercy on Lot and his family because of Abraham . But we have a much greater promise being of the seed of Abraham through Christ Gods mercy and Grace is unto all that obey his commands his word. Rom 10:10 ASV - for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We give God our heart just as the parable of the sower of the seed the seed falls into the GOOD ground and bears fruit 100-60-30 fold. And with our mouths we curse or we bless. Now the cursing is not only to others but to ourselves we can curse our own well being the verse says with your mouth CONFESSION is made,every day we confess the good things of Gods word and it will lead us unto that great salvation day by day here a little there a little Grace upon Grace. The church of LOT is coming to a day of reckoning But God is merciful and slow to anger he is calling many out of the church of Lot. Why did Jesus say Luk 17:31 ASV - In that day, he that shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away: and let him that is in the field likewise not return back.
Luk 17:32 ASV - Remember Lot's wife. If you tie yourself down to this world and all its lust it will destroy you and your family you will be consumed in the fire of Gods judgment. God sent Angels to Lot and his family and pulled them out of Sodom. To day we have his word that takes our hand in the form of Christ and he through his word will lead us out . The word says Num 23:19 ASV - God is not a man, that he should lie, Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and will he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and will he not make it good? Today God is remembering those that are Christ Just as he did Abraham for Lot. Get to the mountain go to the mountain of Zion and be saved. Jud 1:20 ASV - But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
Jud 1:21 ASV - keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jud 1:22 ASV - And on some have mercy, who are in doubt;
Jud 1:23 ASV - and some save, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Jud 1:24 ASV - Now unto him that is able to guard you from stumbling, and to set you before the presence of his glory without blemish in exceeding joy, Eph 5:26 ASV - that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
Eph 5:27 ASV - that he might present the church to himself a glorious [church], not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. The day that Christ came into your life he gave you a robe of righteousness , now we must keep that robe spotless and clean. And by obeying his word we can accomplish that. It say that he is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his Glory. People choose to sin and go astray rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. 1Sa 15:23 ASV - For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. Because thou hast rejected the word of Jehovah, he hath also rejected thee from being king. God will reject those that reject his word. Come out of Sodom the world and all its lust and be separate, without sanctification no man shall see GOD ! Love and forgiveness and pulling yourself out of this evil generation is Gods plan for you.
Luk 17:26 ASV - And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, even so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Luk 17:27 ASV - They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:28 ASV - Likewise even as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
Luk 17:29 ASV - but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all:
Luk 17:30 ASV - after the same manner shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed.
Luk 17:31 ASV - In that day, he that shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away: and let him that is in the field likewise not return back.
Luk 17:32 ASV - Remember Lot's wife.
Luk 17:33 ASV - Whosoever shall seek to gain his life shall lose it: but whosoever shall lose [his life] shall preserve it.

2 PETER 2
1.
false prophets, false teachers denying the Lord
2. many shall follow their pernicious ways ,the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction will not be delayed. covetousness , make merchandise of you
4.God spared not the angels, delivered [them] into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5. spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth [person] a preacher of righteousness
6. turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes , making [them] an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
7. delivered just Lot Greek: rhuomai
(a) "according to nature," Rom 1:26, 27;
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with [him] in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
13. 2Pe 2:13 ASV - suffering wrong as the hire of wrong-doing; [men] that count it pleasure to revel in the day-time, spots and blemishes, revelling in their deceivings while they feast with you;
Jud 1:11 ASV - Woe unto them!
Gen 8:1 ASV - And God remembered Noah, and all the beasts, and all the cattle that were with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;
And
Gen 19:24 ASV - Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Jehovah out of heaven;
Gen 19:25 ASV - and he overthrew those cities, and all the Plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
Gen 19:26 ASV - But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
First of all Zoar was a plain city as we have seen. But Lot chose and begged to have Zoar, so God relented, now Gods plan is always the best plan. But we have always heard be careful what you pray for you might just get it. Now early in this story Sodom was a place of great beauty and splendor, it says even the Garden of God Gen 13:10 ASV - And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the Plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before Jehovah destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the garden of Jehovah, like the land of Egypt, as thou goest unto Zoar. Now Lot, and I am assuming was a benefactor of all that Abraham had . It says that he had much cattle and live stock ,gold and silver he was a very rich man. Lot was Abrams nephew his brothers son , and he was left without until Abram took him in. So everything Lot had as far as heard and stock it came from his uncle. And in this we can see some of Lots flaws he was thinking of himself and when Abraham said you choose where you will go and I will be satisfied. He saw with his eyes the lush green plains and the watered places. He wanted the best for himself. And that which grew upon the ground .And when Lot takes his leave what does God tell Abram everything you see is yours it is all yours , even Lots portion. Every thing that glitters is not gold. And we see that in the fact that God tells them when you go do not look back, depart quickly and do not look back. Now I want to go back to the verse again about if we humble ourselves God will heal our land. People today do not want this country or this land to go away .They love there life's and all they have , their stuff is more precious to them than God and his word . They will tell you that's not so, but if they began to lose it they will turn back to retrieve it. Mat 6:19 ASV - Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal: Mat 6:20 ASV - but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: It says that Jesus is seated on the right hand of God the right hand of God is his power and his strength, if we possess something with our right arm or our own strength that it is not of God.We have made it happen with our own ability. And it will not stand. Gen 19:26 ASV - But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. What was she looking for? did she have sorrow in her heart for the loss, did she feel heart ache for the city she loved more than God. It is a matter of our hearts Luk 6:45 ASV - The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil [man] out of the evil [treasure] bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Jer 17:9 ASV - The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it? So we give our heart to God in all things and believe his word . And walk in this word 2Pe 1:5 ASV - Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in [your] virtue knowledge;
2Pe 1:6 ASV - and in [your] knowledge self-control; and in [your] self-control patience; and in [your] patience godliness;
Jud 1:22 ASV - And on some have mercy, who are in doubt;
Luk 17:28 ASV - Likewise even as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

Workers of the Heart
Mat 9:36 ASV - But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were distressed and scattered, as sheep not having a shepherd.
Mat 9:37 ASV - Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest indeed is plenteous, but the laborers are few.
Mat 9:38 ASV - Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth laborers into his harvest.
I want to share this dream with you I had forty years ago and than a vision just today
And as I stood on a mountain top I was enveloped in light all around me and I could feel the warmth of that light. And I was trying to understand where I was at that moment. Everything was in color and very vivid . The light was bright and warm and the feeling of peace great peace, I felt very safe. As I looked to my right and my left and then in front of me, I saw a wall, a fortified wall in front of me. It was very well built, of massive stones and it was very wide I knew I was safe, for I felt that great safety was behind this wall. I look out over the wall down in the valleys below. It was very bleak the earth was scorched and barren. There was no grass just barren earth. And as the hills rolled out of sight I saw trees blackened and with no leaves. And at that moment I said where am I, what is this place. The height of the wall was just below my face so I could see over. And as I look out over the wall, the farther I look the blacker and darker it became until I could not see anything. I wondered at all this what I was seeing when at once I felt the presents of a person next to me. And he was weeping and I could hear him softly crying. And as I turned to see who was next to me I immediately said Lord is that you Lord. I look up to see his face but I could not see his face . I looked and his arms were massive and his stature was very large, and he had his hands to his face weeping. He represented power and might and strength that's what I felt. And I said Lord what is wrong why are you crying, he said Gay, now Gay is my first name and only my brothers and sister, only very close family call me by that name. But when he talks to me he calls me by that name, he is my brother . He said Gay I weep for the folly of men. For you are with in and they are without. I weep for those that are outside. And he turned and looked down at me and said will you go Gay will you go for me. And I was weeping also and I said yes Lord I will go I will go for you. And that was the end of the dream. Now what comes next is a word I received at a time when I was reading the word.This came to me in my spirit. A vision I could see as I wrote it.
I look and behold a figure of a man with stature and size beyond my understanding
I saw in him great strength and power his arms were massive in size
He came to where I was and held out to me an instrument and it had a blade and it was gleaming as silver in the sun
It had a shaft that seemed as though it were polished by many hands and a smooth surface of beauty, as if many had used this instrument in times past. I believe this is the word of God
I took hold of the sickle yes that's what it was a well worn sickle as I laid hold of it I realized it was a tool for reaping of grain. And that it had been used by many before me. The sword of the spirit
The person of strength looked at me and said use it wisely ,use it with love, use it with all the power it has . For the time has come that the fruit of my field is golden and ripe
The tares are fallen down to the ground. (I want to say the tares I saw were not plucked up but were laying on the ground) And now fill my barns with the fruit of my righteousness For there stands in the field of my salvation my hearts desire, them that have wept and sacrificed for many days for my coming. Victory I desire for them also Yes I have come now to gather those that I have called and they that need a Sheppard a loving hand for the great and final day is approaching And great are the mercy's of our God and father
He has come today with loving kindness and he is slow to anger, and having mercy for thousands. I saw as I look upon the battle field of devastation, blackness. Trees with no leaves twisted and bent burned and blackened And the man next to me this man of power and strength He was crying he wept hard and as I looked he held out his arms wide . Behold your salvation draws nigh . Many are called but few are chosen , The door to the Ark is about to close come out of Sodom ! come quickly , go to the mountain , Even as Lot and his family were dragged out of Sodom. So send I messengers to take hold of your hand . Will you choose Zoar as Lot, a place that was chosen to burn with Sodom. A small and insignificant city, when I have a bright and gleaming city a city of beauty mount Zion the city of the living God. Judgment has begun and the fire of his wrath is waiting. For the sake of my bride my lovely, I have others that I love to bring them in, the called . And those that are with him are called , chosen and Faithful . And this word came to me Jhn 4:34 ASV - Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to accomplish his work.
Jhn 4:35 ASV - Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh the harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white already unto harvest.
Jhn 4:36 ASV - He that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal; that he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
Jhn 4:37 ASV - For herein is the saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
Jhn 4:38 ASV - I sent you to reap that whereon ye have not labored: others have labored, and ye are entered into their labor. Come to the harvest come with Joy that your father has called you and the work is almost finished. The blackness and the darkness is coming upon the earth. It will be the evil beastly men and their devices.
Tribulation is coming and there will be no escape,except the mountain of God his righteous safety. Just as the Ark save Noah and his family from the flood. Jesus is our Ark our safety. We cannot work at being saved we are saved by Faith it is the gift of Grace given by the father. Your salvation is accomplished here on earth while we still have the day. This dream is for the righteous already not something to come. Our flesh will not enter heaven only the redeemed and they shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye. The fruit of Jesus is what the father is coming for. Tribulation is coming and just as Israel came out of Egypt into tribulation or the Wilderness. So God is going to do today to those he loves. Great works from the spirit of God are coming for a time just as Acts the church in great power. Gods saving grace for the those that have been misled and used by the Harlot. Made merchandise of lied to and deceived. For some there is this time of mercy and drawing in to the Ark and than the end. Its not forty years of you working to be saved getting yourself s right to be saved. No its believing and living in that faith, and saving others . What are the laborers for but the lost, many are called and the choosing is happening now. If you are working to save your flesh you have already lost. Jhn 6:26 ASV - Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw signs, but because ye ate of the loaves, and were filled. The flesh profits nothing.
Jhn 6:27 ASV - Work not for the food which perisheth, but for the food which abideth unto eternal life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him the Father, even God, hath sealed. We eat his flesh and drink his blood ,his flesh is the word of righteousness and his blood is his very nature of his son Jesus,therefore God has given us power to become sons of God. 1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. Always remembering the mirror and seeing Jesus not our flesh
Jhn 6:28 ASV - They said therefore unto him, What must we do, that we may work the works of God?
Jhn 6:29 ASV - Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. Faith is that substance that God wants from us ,and we have that hope of Glory.
Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Mat 9:37 ASV - Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest indeed is plenteous, but the laborers are few.
Mat 9:38 ASV - Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth laborers into his harvest.

Zacchaeus and you.
Luk 19:1 ASV - And he entered and was passing through Jericho.
Luk 19:2 ASV - And behold, a man called by name Zacchaeus; and he was a chief publican, and he was rich.
Luk 19:3 ASV - And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the crowd, because he was little of stature.
Luk 19:4 ASV - And he ran on before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
Luk 19:5 ASV - And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to-day I must abide at thy house.
Luk 19:6 ASV - And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
Luk 19:7 ASV - And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, He is gone in to lodge with a man that is a sinner.
Luk 19:8 ASV - And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord, Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wrongfully exacted aught of any man, I restore fourfold.
Luk 19:9 ASV - And Jesus said unto him, To-day is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
Luk 19:10 ASV - For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
Zacchaeus = "pure" or innocent , Is this the way Jesus see's you. He was innocent in the fact he was unaware of Gods love and mercy. You know Gods grace is what saves us all. As we read this beautiful story we see a man the Jews called a sinner. A heathen a non Jew according to their standard, unless you were born a Jew you were a sinner. A very elite way of judging, proud and arrogant to say the least. The word says we have no right to say who goes to heaven or to hell. Now every one not of the blood line of Abraham, and if you were not a Jew you were a sinner hopelessly lost for ever. But look at this word from the start God had his eye on Zacchaeus. It says he was a small person in stature. But I see more than just physical here there is also a spiritual side here. He was hinderd in his mind to the fact he was rejected and spoke evil of . The Jews hated Zacchaeus they called him a sinner , they told Jesus we have Abraham as our father. Jesus said Abraham rejoiced to see my day and he did. Gal 3:6 ASV - Even as Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness.
Gal 3:7 ASV - Know therefore that they that are of faith, the same are sons of Abraham.
Gal 3:8 ASV - And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand unto Abraham, [saying,] In thee shall all the nations be blessed.
Gal 3:9 ASV - So then they that are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.
Now Zacchaeus it says was wanting to see Jesus he climbed a tree so when he passed by he would get a look at Jesus, it was more than a look he was after. Now God saw his heart and the next few verses tell of Gods mercy for those that seek him with an honest heart. The verse says when Jesus came to the place the exact spot, Jesus knew exactly where he was, you know the word says that no man can come unto God except the spirit draw him, he Jesus look up and said Zacchaeus come down I am coming to your house. And the word says Zacchaeus received him Joyfully he was happy and he came down and took Jesus to his home. and the real Jews of the old law looking on said look he has gone into a sinner mans house. The moment that Zacchaeus saw that Jesus had excepted him he began to repent to have a change of mind. He said to Jesus Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wrongfully exacted aught of any man, I restore fourfold. The word says Godly sorrow worketh repentance. Just being in the presents of Jesus with a willing heart brought change, he repented and Jesus said this of him To-day is salvation come to this house, his whole house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham. Faith reconciles us to God 2Cr 5:18 ASV - But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation;
2Cr 5:19 ASV - to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation. To repent is to have a change of mind and the word says we should always live a life worthy of our repentance. Its a daily walk , Always being a reflection of Christ to whom ever we meet. Jesus said you are the light of the world, a city on a hill. So let your light shine. Jhn 3:19 ASV - And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.
Jhn 12:46 ASV - I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me may not abide in the darkness.
Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,
Luk 4:19 ASV - To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.
Luk 4:20 ASV - And he closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant, and sat down: and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.
Luk 4:21 ASV - And he began to say unto them, To-day hath this scripture been fulfilled in your ears. There are two things that happen there and to a man when he hears the word of God. It is a seed that is planted and it goes straight to your heart and then it is what a man does with that seed he either waters it and takes it deep into his heart. Or he lets his flesh have its way and our flesh is an enemy of Gods word so it gets rejected. But from the start that word is sent to create life in us . And if that seed grows and becomes a plant of stature it than makes more fruit of that same seed. Each seed has a body of its own the bible says. 1Cr 15:37 ASV - and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but a bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other kind;
1Cr 15:38 ASV - but God giveth it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.
1Cr 15:39 ASV - All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one [flesh] of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fishes.
1Cr 15:40 ASV - There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the [glory] of the terrestrial is another.
1Cr 15:41 ASV - There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory.
1Cr 15:42 ASV - So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
1Cr 15:43 ASV - it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1Cr 15:44 ASV - it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual [body].
1Cr 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam [became] a life-giving spirit.
1Cr 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
I love the word of God so I have the whole word to love, not one special verse, matter of fact they all tie in like a wonderful tapestry. Paul is saying here this word has the power to regenerate us spiritually, and in the end physically change us to a glorified being. Jesus after his death on the cross was changed physically. He told the people he was not yet glorified in his body, but then a short time after that he began to walk through walls and show himself to his disciples. Eating and drinking just as they. And he even told them to feel me touch me and see. Zacchaues and his household was changed that day by faith. He sought the Lord and found him. And the word says that those that seek for him shall find him. Even the man that found a pearl of great price, was looking when he found it,and that being Jesus. Even repentance is a gift of God 2Ti 2:24 ASV - And the Lord's servant must not strive, but be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing,
2Ti 2:25 ASV - in meekness correcting them that oppose themselves; if peradventure God may give them repentance unto the knowledge of the truth, Its the heart, God wants your heart , your soul. Act 15:8 ASV - And God, who knoweth the heart, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as he did unto us;
Rom 10:10 ASV - for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
;Hbr 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart
2Ti 2:20 ASV - Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some unto honor, and some unto dishonor.
2Ti 2:21 ASV - If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, meet for the master's use, prepared unto every good work.
2Ti 2:22 ASV - after righteousness, faith, love, pace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. A VESSEL UNTO HONOR. The Lord saw Zacchaeus in his heart, and he also sees you and he wants to come to your house and bring salvation to your whole house. The word above said for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Confession of this great word and by faith believe.
Now Zacchaeus it says was wanting to see Jesus he climbed a tree so when he passed by he would get a look at Jesus, it was more than a look he was after. Now God saw his heart and the next few verses tell of Gods mercy for those that seek him with an honest heart. The verse says when Jesus came to the place the exact spot, Jesus knew exactly where he was, you know the word says that no man can come unto God except the spirit draw him, he Jesus look up and said Zacchaeus come down I am coming to your house. And the word says Zacchaeus received him Joyfully he was happy and he came down and took Jesus to his home. and the real Jews of the old law looking on said look he has gone into a sinner mans house. The moment that Zacchaeus saw that Jesus had excepted him he began to repent to have a change of mind. He said to Jesus Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wrongfully exacted aught of any man, I restore fourfold. The word says Godly sorrow worketh repentance. Just being in the presents of Jesus with a willing heart brought change, he repented and Jesus said this of him To-day is salvation come to this house, his whole house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham. Faith reconciles us to God 2Cr 5:18 ASV - But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation;
Luk 4:21 ASV - And he began to say unto them, To-day hath this scripture been fulfilled in your ears. There are two things that happen there and to a man when he hears the word of God. It is a seed that is planted and it goes straight to your heart and then it is what a man does with that seed he either waters it and takes it deep into his heart. Or he lets his flesh have its way and our flesh is an enemy of Gods word so it gets rejected. But from the start that word is sent to create life in us . And if that seed grows and becomes a plant of stature it than makes more fruit of that same seed. Each seed has a body of its own the bible says. 1Cr 15:37 ASV - and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but a bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other kind;
Even repentance is a gift of God 2Ti 2:24 ASV - And the Lord's servant must not strive, but be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing,
2Ti 2:25 ASV - in meekness correcting them that oppose themselves; if peradventure God may give them repentance unto the knowledge of the truth, Its the heart, God wants your heart , your soul. Act 15:8 ASV - And God, who knoweth the heart, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as he did unto us;
Rom 10:10 ASV - for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
;Hbr 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart

HAVING THE MIND OF CHRIST
1Pe 1:13 ASV - Wherefore girding up the loins of your mind, be sober and set your hope perfectly on the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ
Hbr 9:14 ASV - how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
CONSCIENCE IN THE GREEK
2) the soul as distinguishing between what is morally good and bad, prompting to do the former and shun the latter, commending one, condemning the other
a) the conscience
Greek: suneidesis
Conscience:
lit., "a knowing with" (sun, "with," oida, "to know"), i.e., "a co-knowledge (with oneself), the witness borne to one's conduct by conscience, that faculty by which we apprehend the will of God, as that which is designed to govern our lives;" hence
(a) the sense of guiltiness before God; Hbr 10:2;
(b) that process of thought which distinguishes what it considers morally good or bad, commending the good, condemning the bad, and so prompting to do the former, and avoid the latter; Rom 2:15 (bearing witness with God's Law); Hbr 9:1; 2Cr 1:12; acting in a certain way because "conscience" requires it, Rom 13:5; so as not to cause scruples of "conscience" in another, 1Cr 10:28, 29; not calling a thing in question unnecessarily, as if conscience demanded it, 1Cr 10:25, 27; "commending oneself to every man's conscience," 2Cr 4:2; cp. 2Cr 5:11. There may be a "conscience" not strong enough to distinguish clearly between the lawful and the unlawful, 1Cr 8:7, 10, 12 (some regard consciousness as the meaning here). The phrase "conscience toward God," in 1Pe 2:19, signifies a "conscience" (or perhaps here, a consciousness) so controlled by the apprehension of God's presence, that the person realizes that griefs are to be borne in accordance with His will. Hbr 9:9 teaches that sacrifices under the Law could not so perfect a person that he could regard himself as free from guilt.
Rom 13:5 ASV - Wherefore [ye] must needs be in subjection, not only because of the wrath, but also for conscience' sake.
1Ti 1:5 ASV - But the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and faith unfeigned:
1Ti 3:9 ASV - holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience
Tts 1:15 ASV - To the pure all things are pure: but to them that are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.
Hbr 9:14 ASV - how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
2Cr 5:5 ASV - Now he that wrought us for this very thing is God, who gave unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
2Cr 5:9 ASV - Wherefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing unto him.
2Cr 5:10 ASV - For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things [done] in the body, according to what he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.
2Cr 5:11 ASV - Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.
2cor 5-10 manifest in the greek Greek: phaneroo
Appear, Appearing:
akin to No. 1, signifies, in the Active Voice, "to manifest;" in the Passive Voice, "to be manifested;" so, regularly, in the RV, instead of "to appear." See 2Cr 7:12; Col 3:4; Hbr 9:26; 1Pe 5:4; 1Jo 2:28; 3:2; Rev 3:18. To be manifested, in the Scriptural sense of the word, is more than to "appear." A person may "appear" in a false guise or without a disclosure of what he truly is; to be manifested is to be revealed in one's true character; this is especially the meaning of phaneroo, see, e.g., Jhn 3:21; 1Cr 4:5; 2Cr 5:10, 11; Eph 5:13.
At the time this verse becomes alive and real in the future, it is speaking of the living and the dead in Christ at that very moment. The Lord showed me one day this and said at the very moment a person dies, no matter what state they are in at that time redeemed or unredeemed , that is how they will appear in their flesh at that moment of judgement, they will reappear just as they were at death. Because the bible says when we come to God with a repentant heart and an honest heart he will not despise us. And he at that moment gives you a robe of righteousness, and then we must keep our garment clean by washing it in the blood and in the cleansing water of his word . Eph 5:26 ASV - that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
Eph 5:27 ASV - that he might present the church to himself a glorious [church], not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. The word spot in this verse is sin in our lifes after our being saved and putting on that robe of righteousness. So we put spots on our white robe. That's why having a clean conscience is so important . Mat 22:9 ASV - Go ye therefore unto the partings of the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage feast.
Mat 22:10 ASV - And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests. This is the calling of God in your life right now. It says both bad and good there is repentance given by God to us all at this time in which we live , Luk 13:25 ASV - When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not whence ye are; I do not know you , or who's family you come from . For at that time Gods children will be clothed with a robe of righteous the garment of salvation. Repentance is from the heart your flesh will die some day but a mans spirit will live for ever. It is from the heart out of a mans heart flow the issues of life. Out of the heart the mouth speaks .
Mat 22:11 ASV - But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:
Mat 22:12 ASV - and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.
Mat 22:13 ASV - Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
Mat 22:14 ASV - For many are called, but few chosen.
When our conscience is wounded we immediately withdraw in our spirit and than comes the shame and we give place to the devil, and than we have no power to proclaim his word or truth . We can not be bold in his spirit because our spirit the old carnal man has captured our heart and stained our robe. Then comes the task of getting back to where we were in Christ restoring our faith with boldness. Jesus nailed our flesh with his on that cross we can not come down from our cross , that old man must die. Death ,burial and resurrection that is what Jesus accomplished and that is what we must go through. 1Jo 2:1 ASV - My little children, these things write I unto you that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1Jo 2:2 ASV - and he is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
I always wonder why people wear crosses , the cross is a sign of suffering and shame, but Christ has come down from the cross it does not hold him any longer,and so we to are free from the law of sin and death . Listen Jesus was perfected and glorified in his resurrection. And he has promised the same for us if we hold fast the faith that was once give to us. He said that we too will bear our own cross and because we love him we will stay there until all things be accomplished. Can you see how the apostate teachings have influenced our thinking . Its all leaven bread , it is infected with mans fleshly teachings it is not the true gospel of Christ . So many promises have been given to his church, be they do not see or receive them . Jesus was the unleavened bread the true bread of life. Jhn 6:58 ASV - This is the bread which came down out of heaven: not as the fathers ate, and died; he that eateth this bread shall live for ever. 2Cr 3:6 ASV - who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
We see the word now in the spirit not in the letter and the revelation of this word is in the spirit. That is how the Holy Ghost teaches us by revelation of Christ himself.
And the most wonderful thing about it all is that it is not tainted with mans ideals, it is his word in all its glory and we can read it for ourselves and believe. When he the Holy Ghost has come he will guide you into all truth. Do you have the truth, does the spirit of God dwell in you this day. Than you have all the promises at your calling. Isa 61:6 ASV - But ye shall be named the priests of Jehovah; men shall call you the ministers of our God: ye shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
Isa 61:7 ASV - Instead of your shame [ye shall have] double; and instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be unto them.
Isa 61:9 ASV - And their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples; all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which Jehovah hath blessed.
Isa 61:10 ASV - I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with a garland, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. Can you smell the hyssop in this verse the hyssop Moses dip in the blood. And it says he struck the door post and the lintel with the blood and the hyssop. And the savor of the sacrifice filled the air. The sweet aroma of Christ his son filled the air and God was pleased. Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. It says in revelations that Jesus is standing at the door ,the door of our hearts. The blood and the hyssop can only be applied when we truly open the door WIDE and say Jesus come into my heart and change me for ever. Most people just crack the door that's why you only see a little Jesus in them he cant get in all the way. The word jewels in Isa 61-10 in the heb means article, vessel, implement, utensil . Rom 9:23 ASV - and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he afore prepared unto glory,
2Ti 2:20 ASV - Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some unto honor, and some unto dishonor.
Hbr 9:21 ASV - Moreover the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry he sprinkled in like manner with the blood. The lord has called us to be vessels of honor and that we produce much fruit. Jhn 14:2 ASV - In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. He spoke this just before his death , Eph 4:8 ASV - Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men.
Eph 4:9 ASV - (Now this, He ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth?
Eph 4:10 ASV - He that descended is the same also that ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)
In Isaiah 61 we are that captive Isa 61:1 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening [of the prison] to them that are bound; Praise God !! Col 1:27
Mansions in the Greek: mone
Mansions:
primarily "a staying, abiding" (akin to meno, "to abide"), denotes an "abode" (Eng., "manor," "manse," etc.), translated "mansions" in Jhn 14:2; "abode" in Jhn 14:23. There is nothing in the word to indicate separate compartments in heaven; neither does it suggest temporary resting-places on the road.
We are the mansions we are the abiding place of the father , Jhn 14:23 ASV - Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. Its Christ in you the hope of glory. You are the water pots the vessels unto honor, and the word he has given us will renew us and create in us the very nature of Christ himself . The wine is his blood and the word says that the life is in the blood , turning water into wine . 1Cr 15:47 ASV - The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.
1Cr 15:48 ASV - As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Cr 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Eph 2:13 ASV - But now in Christ Jesus ye that once were far off are made nigh in the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:14 ASV - For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition,
Eph 2:15 ASV - having abolished in the flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, [so] making peace;
Eph 2:16 ASV - and might reconcile them both in one body unto God through the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: Greek: apokatallasso
Reconcile, Reconciliation:
"to reconcile completely" (apo, from, and No. 1), a stronger form of No. 1, "to change from one condition to another," so as to remove all enmity and leave no impediment to unity and peace, is used in Eph 2:16, of the "reconciliation" of believing Jew and Gentile "in one body unto God through the Cross;" in Col 1:21 not the union of Jew and Gentile is in view, but the change wrought in the individual believer from alienation and enmity, on account of evil works, to "reconciliation" with God; in Col 1:20 the word is used of the Divine purpose to "reconcile" through Christ "all things unto Himself . . . whether things upon the earth, or things in the heavens," the basis of the change being the peace effected "through the blood of His Cross." It is the Divine purpose, on the ground of the work of Christ accomplished on the Cross, to bring the whole universe, except rebellious angels and unbelieving man, into full accord with the mind of God, Eph 1:10. Things "under the earth," Phl 2:10, are subdued, not "reconciled." God is calling will you open the door all the way and let him in. Hbr 10:22 ASV - let us draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water, Listen I believe time is very short , and what I mean by short is this word has been on your table a long time, It has been there to feed you and bless you. A day is coming when the famine will come and there will be no more food of the word . And we will live off of the bread of life we have consumed in this day . Amo 8:9 ASV - And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord Jehovah, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day.
Amo 8:10 ASV - And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning for an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.
Amo 8:11 ASV - Behold, the days come, saith the Lord Jehovah, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of Jehovah.
Amo 8:12 ASV - And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east; they shall run to and fro to seek the word of Jehovah, and shall not find it.
Amo 8:13 ASV - In that day shall the fair virgins and the young men faint for thirst.
Judgment starts first in the house of God.
2Cr 5:1 ASV - For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens. 1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. 2Cr 5:1 ASV - For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens. We are the sons of God just like Jesus, if he shall be manifested in us, manifest means to shine forth, we shall meet him in the air, this old body of flesh will fall off and whats left is Christ in us the hope of Glory . God is not coming back for the plant our old body, he is coming back for the fruit the we have produced in our life on this earth. Mat 13:3 ASV - And he spake to them many things in parables, saying, Behold, the sower went forth to sow; Jesus is the sower and he is sowing the word of God. Mat 13:8 ASV - and others fell upon the good ground, and yielded fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Mat 13:9 ASV - He that hath ears, let him hear. The good ground is our heart . We want a hundredfold in our heart. I Cor 15 has the revelation of this parable. Phl 2:12 ASV - So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
In His Name
Hbr 9:14 ASV - how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Eph 2:14 ASV - For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition,
Eph 2:15 ASV - having abolished in the flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, [so] making peace;
Mat 13:9 ASV - He that hath ears, let him hear. The good ground is our heart . We want a hundredfold in our heart. I Cor 15 has the revelation of this parable. Phl 2:12 ASV - So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

Born again ?
Do you really have the Holy Ghost
In the phrase "man of sin," 2Th 2:3, the word suggests the idea of contempt of Divine law, since the Antichrist will deny the existence of God. This has begun more openly now than ever before. It is manifesting in our government and world wide. Eph 6:10 ASV - Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
Eph 6:11 ASV - Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 ASV - For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].
Eph 6:13 ASV - Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14 ASV - Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Eph 6:15 ASV - and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 ASV - withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil [one].
Eph 6:17 ASV - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Mat 24:3 ASV - And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Mat 24:4 ASV - And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man lead you astray.
Mat 24:5 ASV - For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall lead many astray.
Act 19:2 ASV - and he said unto them, Did ye receive the Holy Spirit when ye believed? And they [said] unto him, Nay, we did not so much as hear whether the Holy Spirit was [given].
Act 19:3 ASV - And he said, Into what then were ye baptized? And they said, Into John's baptism.
Act 19:4 ASV - And Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people that they should believe on him that should come after him, that is, on Jesus.
Act 19:5 ASV - And when they heard this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
Act 19:6 ASV - And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
They were baptized INTO the name of Jesus Christ . So now I am building a foundation here for a house, I want to build a strong house with a strong foundation. Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, [these] shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come. First the name in the greek is onoma for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers: So it is not some word spoken and wham it happens ,no its the very depth of who Christ is When we believe and obey the word and through repentance we enter in to his kingdom and that name gives us the armor to overcome. The name is all that Jesus is and we receive his power and his authority when he comes to dwell in us. Jhn 5:43 ASV - I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 1Jo 3:23 ASV - And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he gave us commandment. Now Jesus said he came in his fathers name , Jesus said in Isa 61:1 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening [of the prison] to them that are bound; Act 1:4 ASV - and, being assembled together with them, he charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, [said he], ye heard from me:
Act 1:5 ASV - For John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days hence. Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter [said] unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him. So who can receive this promise , to as many as the Lord shall call . Now some have made a doctrine out of these few scriptures, their whole leaning is on these verses. And I have known some and I must say they preach something that they themselves do not have. Receiving this great and wonderful gift is the start the beginning of your walk with God. Jesus said let the dead bury the dead.Paul said a man without the Spirit of God is a walking dead man. Rom 5:5 KJV - And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Jesus said I come in my fathers name and he said everything that the father has is mine .
Jhn 14:8 ASV - Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us
Jhn 14:9 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how sayest thou, Show us the Father
What do you think he means when he says all this time Philip and you do not KNOW me!! . The word know in the Greek ginosko In the NT ginosko frequently indicates a relation between the person "knowing" and the object known; in this respect, what is "known" is of value or importance to the one who knows, and hence the establishment of the relationship, e.g., especially of God's "knowledge," 1Cr 8:3, "if any man love God, the same is known of Him;" Gal 4:9, "to be known of God;" here the "knowing" suggests approval and bears the meaning "to be approved;" so in 2Ti 2:19; cp. Jhn 10:14, 27; Gen 18:19; Nah 1:7; the relationship implied may involve remedial chastisement, Amo 3:2. The same idea of appreciation as well as "knowledge" underlies several statements concerning the "knowledge" of God and His truth on the part of believers, e.g., Jhn 8:32; 14:20, 31; 17:3; Gal 4:9 (1st part); 1Jo 2:3, 13, 14; 4:6, 8, 16; 5:20; such "knowledge" is obtained, not by mere intellectual activity, but by operation of the Holy Spirit consequent upon acceptance of Christ. Nor is such "knowledge" marked by finality; see e.g., 2Pe 3:18; Hsa 6:3, RV.
Mat 28:18 ASV - And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth.
Mat 28:19 ASV - Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: There is only one name ,one authority one character. Jesus says ALL authority has been given unto me in heaven and on earth . So when you believe Christ and all he has done , repent and slay that old carnal flesh in water baptism nailing it to the cross, Walking in all he has. When you get Jesus you get it all . That's why he said Mat 7:22 ASV - Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works?
Mat 7:23 ASV - And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. The key here is the word WE you can go to most any organized church today and see the works they profess and how they make things happen . I am not going to say that every thing done is to no avail. But for the most part is hype and flesh all the way. You say if that's true than how were they doing these works. Num 22:28 ASV - And Jehovah opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? Do you know that God will use many things and circumstances to give mercy . The devil knows the word of God also, Luk 19:40 ASV - And he answered and said, I tell you that, if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out. All things are done in and through Jesus Christ. Jhn 3:21 ASV - But he that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his works may be made manifest, that they have been wrought in God. Jhn 14:10 ASV - Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I say unto you I speak not from myself: but the Father abiding in me doeth his works.
2Cr 13:5 ASV - Try your own selves, whether ye are in the faith; prove your own selves. Or know ye not as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed ye be reprobate.
Hsa 6:3 ASV - And let us know, let us follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is sure as the morning; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.
God bless you

Mat 16:21 KJV - From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

Luk 24:49 ASV - And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high. Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
Again in the Greek= Other words are rendered "again" in the AV, which the RV corrects, namely, deuteros and anothen. Deuteros signifies "a second time," Jhn 9:24; Act 11:9. Anothen signifies "from above, or anew." See the RV of Jhn 3:3,7, and the AV and RV of Jhn 3:31. Nicodemus was not puzzled about birth from Heaven; what perplexed him was that a person must be born a second time. This the context makes clear. This is really the meaning in Gal 4:9, where it is associated with palin, "over again." The idea is "anew
Recieve in the greek = Greek: paralambano
Receive, Receiving:
"to receive from another" (para, "from beside"), or "to take," signifies "to receive," e.g., in Mar 7:4; Jhn 1:11; 14:3; 1Cr 11:23; 15:1, 3; Gal 1:9, 12; Phl 4:9; Col 2:6; 4:17; 1Th 2:13 (1st part); 4:1; 2Th 3:6; Hbr 12:28.
See TAKE. Greek: paralambano Take:
besides its meaning "to receive," denotes "to take to (or with) oneself," of "taking" a wife, e.g., Mat 1:20, 24; of "taking" a person or persons with one
Jhn 14:4 ASV - And whither I go, ye know the way. Way in the Greek= Greek: hodos
Highway, Highwayside:
"a way, path, road," is rendered "highways" in Mat 22:10; Luk 14:23; in Mar 10:46, RV, "way side," AV, "highway side;" in Mat 22:9, the word is used with diexodoi ("ways out through"), and the phrase is rightly rendered in the RV, "the partings of the highways" (i.e., the crossroads), AV, "the highways." 1) a travelled way, road
b) a travellers way, journey, travelling
2) metaph.
a) a course of conduct
b) a way (i.e. manner) of thinking, feeling, deciding
Jhn 14:5 ASV - Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way? Here is where faith takes over ,A lot of time this is where we speak before thinking. Like the women at the well ( give me this water Lord that I may never thirst again) Give me ,show me the way Lord . And the next verse is the answer to his question Jhn 14:6 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jhn 6:51 ASV - I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world. Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God! The water being the water of the word the washing water, And he is the word made flesh , And the spirit is the very life of Jesus , the nature of Christ himself . Jhn 14:18 ASV - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you Rev 3:20 ASV - Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Jhn 14:20 ASV - In that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. Jhn 14:21 ASV - He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him.
Jhn 14:23 ASV - Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Jhn 3:8 ASV - The wind bloweth where it will, and thou hearest the voice thereof, but knowest not whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.
Jhn 14:7 ASV - If ye had known me, ye would have known my Father also: from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Jhn 14:8 ASV - Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus was telling Philip here that you are looking at the Father, you see me you see the Father ,this and the verse below is speaking of that Name, the power and the authority of that name. Jesus said he came in his fathers name . Jhn 5:43 ASV - I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. Name in the Greek = Greek: onoma
Name:
is used
(I) in general of the "name" by which a person or thing is called, e.g., Mar 3:16, 17, "(He) surnamed," lit., "(He added) the name;" Mar 14:32, lit., "(of which) the name (was);" Luk 1:63; Jhn 18:10; sometimes translated "named," e.g., Luk 1:5, "named (Zacharias)," lit., "by name;" in the same verse, "named (Elizabeth)," lit., "the name of her," an elliptical phrase, with "was" understood; Act 8:9, RV, "by name," Act 10:1; the "name" is put for the reality in Rev 3:1; in Phl 2:9, the "Name" represents "the title and dignity" of the Lord, as in Eph 1:21; Hbr 1:4;
(II) for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers:
(a) of the "Name" of God as expressing His attributes, etc., e.g., Mat 6:9; Luk 1:49; Jhn 12:28; 17:6, 26; Rom 15:9; 1Ti 6:1; Hbr 13:15; Rev 13:6;
(b) of the "Name" of Christ, e.g., Mat 10:22; 19:29; Jhn 1:12; 2:23; 3:18; Act 26:9; Rom 1:5; Jam 2:7; 1Jo 3:23; 3Jo 1:7; Rev 2:13; 3:8; also the phrases rendered "in the name;" these may be analyzed as follows:
(1) representing the authority of Christ, e.g., Mat 18:5 (with epi, "on the ground of My authority")
So when you speak the name of Jesus by command you are loosing all the power and ability of Christ himself , we ask or command in Jesus name. And if God is in Christ than that's why he said all that the father has is mine. This Holy Ghost is the power to over come. Jesus said if you had known me you would have known my father, for I and the father are one if you see me you see the father. And he also said that I and my father will come and dwell in you and sup with you. The devil also knows who belongs to Jesus and who has that power by his name, Act 19:13 ASV - But certain also of the strolling Jews, exorcists, took upon them to name over them that had the evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, I adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. Act 19:14 ASV - And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, a chief priest, who did this. Act 19:15 ASV - And the evil spirit answered and said unto them, Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are ye?
Act 19:16 ASV - And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and mastered both of them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
Jhn 14:9 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how sayest thou, Show us the Father?
Jhn 14:10 ASV - Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I say unto you I speak not from myself: but the Father abiding in me doeth his work
So what I would say here in closing is that , When it says in my fathers house, and we are of the household of God being sons of God.We have no mansion up in heaven some where. We are that mansion this verse is speaking of, and if you have the spirit of Christ in you than you are the mansion, the temple of the Holy Ghost . Jhn 3:13 ASV - And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, [even] the Son of man, who is in heaven. We must see this word in the spirit not in the letter. If people see in the letter of this word than they miss the complete meaning. 1Cr 2:13 ASV - Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Spirit teacheth; combining spiritual things with spiritual [words].
1Cr 15:44 ASV - it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual [body].
1Pe 2:5 ASV - ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. A new heaven and a new Earth , Rev 21:1 ASV - And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more. Rev 21:2 ASV - And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven of God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. Rev 21:3 ASV - And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God: Rev 21:4 ASV - and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away. The holy city, new Jerusalem will be on this new earth coming down out of heaven. This new Jerusalem is the people of God the bride made ready. 1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. SONS OF GOD that is what God is coming for . people that are just like his son Jesus, possessing the very nature of his son. 1Cr 13:12 ASV - For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know fully even as also I was fully known. 2Cr 3:18 ASV - But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit. Jam 1:23 ASV - For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror. Its Christ being made manifest in me , the old man is dyeing and the new man is coming into view. We will be with him for ever more in the new earth. Jesus is the sower and he is sowing the word of God Mat 13:18 ASV - Hear then ye the parable of the sower. Mat 13:19 ASV - When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, [then] cometh the evil [one], and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side. Mat 13:20 ASV - And he that was sown upon the rocky places, this is he that heareth the word, and straightway with joy receiveth it; Mat 13:21 ASV - yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while; and when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, straightway he stumbleth. Mat 13:22 ASV - And he that was sown among the thorns, this is he that heareth the word; and the care of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. Mat 13:23 ASV - And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who verily beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. And if you have ears to here I COR 15:35 -58 IS another that explains the parable of the sower. We are all dead in our trepasses we are all dead until this word raises us up unto newness of life. When it says how shall the dead be raised he is speaking of all man kind, not those that are dead and gone its now in thIS present time, for we are all dead until that seed springs up inside of us and brings forth fruit , The fruit of Christ in us the hope of GLORY. Be filled with the Holy Ghost my friend for it is the promise of God unto all that believe. Act 19:1 KJV - And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, Act 19:2 KJV - He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. Act 19:3 KJV - And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
Act 19:4 KJV - Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. Act 19:5 KJV - When they heard [this], they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Act 19:6 KJV - And when Paul had laid [his] hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. Act 19:7 KJV - And all the men were about twelve. Acts 2: 36-38

This is the preparation he was speaking of Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you. Luk 24:49 ASV - And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.
Name:
is used
(I) in general of the "name" by which a person or thing is called, e.g., Mar 3:16, 17, "(He) surnamed," lit., "(He added) the name;" Mar 14:32, lit., "(of which) the name (was);" Luk 1:63; Jhn 18:10; sometimes translated "named," e.g., Luk 1:5, "named (Zacharias)," lit., "by name;" in the same verse, "named (Elizabeth)," lit., "the name of her," an elliptical phrase, with "was" understood; Act 8:9, RV, "by name," Act 10:1; the "name" is put for the reality in Rev 3:1; in Phl 2:9, the "Name" represents "the title and dignity" of the Lord, as in Eph 1:21; Hbr 1:4;
(II) for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers:
(a) of the "Name" of God as expressing His attributes, etc., e.g., Mat 6:9; Luk 1:49; Jhn 12:28; 17:6, 26; Rom 15:9; 1Ti 6:1; Hbr 13:15; Rev 13:6;

1Pe 2:5 ASV - ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. A new heaven and a new Earth , Rev 21:1 ASV - And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more. Act 19:4 KJV - Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. Act 19:5 KJV - When they heard [this], they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Act 19:6 KJV - And when Paul had laid [his] hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. Act 19:7 KJV - And all the men were about twelve. Acts 2: 36-38
