Believe in the Greek= Greek: pisteuo
Belief, Believe, Believers:
"to believe," also "to be persuaded of," and hence, "to place confidence in, to trust," signifies, in this sense of the word, reliance upon, not mere credence.
Jhn 14:2 ASV - In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you;for I go to prepare a place for you.
House in the Greek= metaphorically, the heavenly abode, spoken of by the Lord as "My Father's house," Jhn 14:2, the eternal dwelling place of believers; the body as the dwelling place of the soul, 2Cr 5:1; similarly the resurrection body of believers (id.); property, e.g., Mar 12:40; by metonymy, the inhabitants of a house, a household, e.g., Mat 12:25; Jhn 4:53; 1Cr 16:15.
Mansions,dwelling places=Abide, Abode:

Jhn 14:3 ASV - And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
Prepare in the Greek= to make ready, prepare
a) to make the necessary preparations, get everything ready
2) metaph.
a) drawn from the oriental custom of sending on before kings on their journeys persons to level the roads and make them passable
b) to prepare the minds of men to give the Messiah a fit reception and secure his blessings. Mat 16:21 KJV - From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
Mat 16:22 KJV - Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
Mat 16:23 KJV - But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Mat 16:24 KJV - Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. To prepare is, to go as the Lamb of sacrifice, Luk 24:45 ASV - Then opened he their mind, that they might understand the scriptures;
Luk 24:46 ASV - and he said unto them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day;

Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter [said] unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This is the preparation he was speaking of Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you. Luk 24:49 ASV - And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high. Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter [said] unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
Again in the Greek= Other words are rendered "again" in the AV, which the RV corrects, namely, deuteros and anothen. Deuteros signifies "a second time," Jhn 9:24; Act 11:9. Anothen signifies "from above, or anew." See the RV of Jhn 3:3,7, and the AV and RV of Jhn 3:31. Nicodemus was not puzzled about birth from Heaven; what perplexed him was that a person must be born a second time. This the context makes clear. This is really the meaning in Gal 4:9, where it is associated with palin, "over again." The idea is "anew
Recieve in the greek = Greek: paralambano
Receive, Receiving:
"to receive from another" (para, "from beside"), or "to take," signifies "to receive," e.g., in Mar 7:4; Jhn 1:11; 14:3; 1Cr 11:23; 15:1, 3; Gal 1:9, 12; Phl 4:9; Col 2:6; 4:17; 1Th 2:13 (1st part); 4:1; 2Th 3:6; Hbr 12:28.
See TAKE. Greek: paralambano Take:
besides its meaning "to receive," denotes "to take to (or with) oneself," of "taking" a wife, e.g., Mat 1:20, 24; of "taking" a person or persons with one
Jhn 14:4 ASV - And whither I go, ye know the way. Way in the Greek= Greek: hodos
Highway, Highwayside:
"a way, path, road," is rendered "highways" in Mat 22:10; Luk 14:23; in Mar 10:46, RV, "way side," AV, "highway side;" in Mat 22:9, the word is used with diexodoi ("ways out through"), and the phrase is rightly rendered in the RV, "the partings of the highways" (i.e., the crossroads), AV, "the highways." 1) a travelled way, road
b) a travellers way, journey, travelling
2) metaph.
a) a course of conduct
b) a way (i.e. manner) of thinking, feeling, deciding
Jhn 14:5 ASV - Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way? Here is where faith takes over ,A lot of time this is where we speak before thinking. Like the women at the well ( give me this water Lord that I may never thirst again) Give me ,show me the way Lord . And the next verse is the answer to his question Jhn 14:6 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jhn 6:51 ASV - I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world. Jhn 14:18 ASV - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you Rev 3:20 ASV - Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Jhn 14:20 ASV - In that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. Jhn 14:21 ASV - He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him.
Jhn 14:23 ASV - Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

Jhn 14:8 ASV - Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus was telling Philip here that you are looking at the Father, you see me you see the Father ,this and the verse below is speaking of that Name, the power and the authority of that name. Jesus said he came in his fathers name . Jhn 5:43 ASV - I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. Name in the Greek = Greek: onoma
Name:
is used
(I) in general of the "name" by which a person or thing is called, e.g., Mar 3:16, 17, "(He) surnamed," lit., "(He added) the name;" Mar 14:32, lit., "(of which) the name (was);" Luk 1:63; Jhn 18:10; sometimes translated "named," e.g., Luk 1:5, "named (Zacharias)," lit., "by name;" in the same verse, "named (Elizabeth)," lit., "the name of her," an elliptical phrase, with "was" understood; Act 8:9, RV, "by name," Act 10:1; the "name" is put for the reality in Rev 3:1; in Phl 2:9, the "Name" represents "the title and dignity" of the Lord, as in Eph 1:21; Hbr 1:4;
(II) for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers:
(a) of the "Name" of God as expressing His attributes, etc., e.g., Mat 6:9; Luk 1:49; Jhn 12:28; 17:6, 26; Rom 15:9; 1Ti 6:1; Hbr 13:15; Rev 13:6;
(b) of the "Name" of Christ, e.g., Mat 10:22; 19:29; Jhn 1:12; 2:23; 3:18; Act 26:9; Rom 1:5; Jam 2:7; 1Jo 3:23; 3Jo 1:7; Rev 2:13; 3:8; also the phrases rendered "in the name;" these may be analyzed as follows:
(1) representing the authority of Christ, e.g., Mat 18:5 (with epi, "on the ground of My authority")
So when you speak the name of Jesus by command you are loosing all the power and ability of Christ himself , we ask or command in Jesus name. And if God is in Christ than that's why he said all that the father has is mine. This Holy Ghost is the power to over come. Jesus said if you had known me you would have known my father, for I and the father are one if you see me you see the father. And he also said that I and my father will come and dwell in you and sup with you. The devil also knows who belongs to Jesus and who has that power by his name, Act 19:13 ASV - But certain also of the strolling Jews, exorcists, took upon them to name over them that had the evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, I adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. Act 19:14 ASV - And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, a chief priest, who did this. Act 19:15 ASV - And the evil spirit answered and said unto them, Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are ye?
Act 19:16 ASV - And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and mastered both of them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
Jhn 14:9 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how sayest thou, Show us the Father?
Jhn 14:10 ASV - Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I say unto you I speak not from myself: but the Father abiding in me doeth his work
So what I would say here in closing is that , When it says in my fathers house, and we are of the household of God being sons of God.We have no mansion up in heaven some where. We are that mansion this verse is speaking of, and if you have the spirit of Christ in you than you are the mansion, the temple of the Holy Ghost . Jhn 3:13 ASV - And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, [even] the Son of man, who is in heaven. We must see this word in the spirit not in the letter. If people see in the letter of this word than they miss the complete meaning. 1Cr 2:13 ASV - Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Spirit teacheth; combining spiritual things with spiritual [words].

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual [body]. 1Pe 2:5 ASV - ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Rev 21:3 ASV - And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God: Rev 21:4 ASV - and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away. The holy city, new Jerusalem will be on this new earth coming down out of heaven. This new Jerusalem is the people of God the bride made ready. 1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. SONS OF GOD that is what God is coming for . people that are just like his son Jesus, possessing the very nature of his son. 1Cr 13:12 ASV - For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know fully even as also I was fully known. 2Cr 3:18 ASV - But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit. Jam 1:23 ASV - For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror. Its Christ being made manifest in me , the old man is dyeing and the new man is coming into view. We will be with him for ever more in the new earth. Jesus is the sower and he is sowing the word of God Mat 13:18 ASV - Hear then ye the parable of the sower. Mat 13:19 ASV - When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, [then] cometh the evil [one], and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side. Mat 13:20 ASV - And he that was sown upon the rocky places, this is he that heareth the word, and straightway with joy receiveth it; Mat 13:21 ASV - yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while; and when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, straightway he stumbleth. Mat 13:22 ASV - And he that was sown among the thorns, this is he that heareth the word; and the care of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. Mat 13:23 ASV - And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who verily beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. And if you have ears to here I COR 15:35 -58 IS another that explains the parable of the sower. We are all dead in our trepasses we are all dead until this word raises us up unto newness of life. When it says how shall the dead be raised he is speaking of all man kind, not those that are dead and gone its now in thIS present time, for we are all dead until that seed springs up inside of us and brings forth fruit , The fruit of Christ in us the hope of GLORY. Be filled with the Holy Ghost my friend for it is the promise of God unto all that believe. Act 19:1 KJV - And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, Act 19:2 KJV - He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. Act 19:3 KJV - And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
Act 19:4 KJV - Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. Act 19:5 KJV - When they heard [this], they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Act 19:6 KJV - And when Paul had laid [his] hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. Act 19:7 KJV - And all the men were about twelve. Acts 2: 36-38
