Do you really have the Holy Ghost


In the phrase "man of sin," 2Th 2:3, the word suggests the idea of contempt of Divine law, since the Antichrist will deny the existence of God. This has begun more openly now than ever before. It is manifesting in our government and world wide. Eph 6:10 ASV - Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
Eph 6:11 ASV - Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 ASV - For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].
Eph 6:13 ASV - Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14 ASV - Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Eph 6:15 ASV - and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 ASV - withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil [one].
Eph 6:17 ASV - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

They were baptized INTO the name of Jesus Christ . So now I am building a foundation here for a house, I want to build a strong house with a strong foundation. Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, [these] shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come. First the name in the greek is onoma for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers: So it is not some word spoken and wham it happens ,no its the very depth of who Christ is When we believe and obey the word and through repentance we enter in to his kingdom and that name gives us the armor to overcome. The name is all that Jesus is and we receive his power and his authority when he comes to dwell in us. Jhn 5:43 ASV - I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 1Jo 3:23 ASV - And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he gave us commandment. Now Jesus said he came in his fathers name , Jesus said in Isa 61:1 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening [of the prison] to them that are bound; Act 1:4 ASV - and, being assembled together with them, he charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, [said he], ye heard from me:
Act 1:5 ASV - For John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days hence. Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter [said] unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him. So who can receive this promise , to as many as the Lord shall call . Now some have made a doctrine out of these few scriptures, their whole leaning is on these verses. And I have known some and I must say they preach something that they themselves do not have. Receiving this great and wonderful gift is the start the beginning of your walk with God. Jesus said let the dead bury the dead.Paul said a man without the Spirit of God is a walking dead man. Rom 5:5 KJV - And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Jesus said I come in my fathers name and he said everything that the father has is mine .
Jhn 14:8 ASV - Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us
Jhn 14:9 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how sayest thou, Show us the Father
What do you think he means when he says all this time Philip and you do not KNOW me!! . The word know in the Greek ginosko In the NT ginosko frequently indicates a relation between the person "knowing" and the object known; in this respect, what is "known" is of value or importance to the one who knows, and hence the establishment of the relationship, e.g., especially of God's "knowledge," 1Cr 8:3, "if any man love God, the same is known of Him;" Gal 4:9, "to be known of God;" here the "knowing" suggests approval and bears the meaning "to be approved;" so in 2Ti 2:19; cp. Jhn 10:14, 27; Gen 18:19; Nah 1:7; the relationship implied may involve remedial chastisement, Amo 3:2. The same idea of appreciation as well as "knowledge" underlies several statements concerning the "knowledge" of God and His truth on the part of believers, e.g., Jhn 8:32; 14:20, 31; 17:3; Gal 4:9 (1st part); 1Jo 2:3, 13, 14; 4:6, 8, 16; 5:20; such "knowledge" is obtained, not by mere intellectual activity, but by operation of the Holy Spirit consequent upon acceptance of Christ. Nor is such "knowledge" marked by finality; see e.g., 2Pe 3:18; Hsa 6:3, RV.
Mat 28:18 ASV - And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth.
Mat 28:19 ASV - Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: There is only one name ,one authority one character. Jesus says ALL authority has been given unto me in heaven and on earth . So when you believe Christ and all he has done , repent and slay that old carnal flesh in water baptism nailing it to the cross, Walking in all he has. When you get Jesus you get it all . That's why he said Mat 7:22 ASV - Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works?
Mat 7:23 ASV - And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. The key here is the word WE you can go to most any organized church today and see the works they profess and how they make things happen . I am not going to say that every thing done is to no avail. But for the most part is hype and flesh all the way. You say if that's true than how were they doing these works. Num 22:28 ASV - And Jehovah opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? Do you know that God will use many things and circumstances to give mercy . The devil knows the word of God also, Luk 19:40 ASV - And he answered and said, I tell you that, if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out. All things are done in and through Jesus Christ. Jhn 3:21 ASV - But he that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his works may be made manifest, that they have been wrought in God. Jhn 14:10 ASV - Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I say unto you I speak not from myself: but the Father abiding in me doeth his works.


2Cr 13:5 ASV - Try your own selves, whether ye are in the faith; prove your own selves. Or know ye not as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed ye be reprobate.

Hsa 6:3 ASV - And let us know, let us follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is sure as the morning; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.
