Discerning the times in which we live

Mat 13:35 ASV - that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.
Mat 13:13 ASV - Therefore speak I to them in parables; because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Discernment of the times we live now are by hearing the spirit of God.
Jhn 10:27 ASV - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Hbr 5:12 ASV - For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food.
Hbr 5:13 ASV - For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the word of righteousness; for he is a babe.
Hbr 5:14 ASV - But solid food is for fullgrown men, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil. Trying to mix worldly things with spiritual things, a little leaven leavens the whole lump .What amazes me is people are seeing this in the letter of Gods word and not the spirit. If it is not discerned in the spirit it is missed completely.  This is what Jesus said about having eyes to see and ears to hear. Hear what the spirit is saying to the church. Gods word will perform what it is spoke to. Our flesh was condemned the moment we were born. That is why God had Jesus in mind all along , the first Adam and the second Adam the first Adam lost every thing because of sin and disobedience to Gods order of things. Now Jesus came to restore life to us by his spirit. Hence the letter and the spirit . 1Cr 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam [became] a life-giving spirit . The old testament is the letter of the of Gods law and the new Testament brought life through the gospel. 2Cr 3:6 ASV - who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.  The old testament was a movie being played out if you will for all to see. Everything was done in the flesh of man. Joshua in the Heb means Jesus , there were many types of Jesus through out the Old testament, types and shadows of better things to come. Moses was a Savior of the children of Israel , and those who murmured and complained  they fell in the desert. And in the very end only the children born (again) in the wilderness entered into the Promise Land. When the children began to take the land as a promise from God he told them to kill everything in the land the cites men women and children and all the animals nothing was to be left alive. And burn it with fire.  Jericho is a type of mans flesh and when we enter in to the promise than we as children of God began to crucify this old nature of sin in us as we walk on into the promise. Look at Saul he was conquered by the very thing he was told to destroy  1Sa 15:14 ASV - And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?
1Sa 15:15 ASV - And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto Jehovah thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.  This cost him his life and his throne. I remember the sin of Achan in Joshua 7 and it speaks of some Christians today! Just a little bit Lord I want just a very small amount of this world . Lot and his wife was the same if you read you will see they could not let go of there things they just wandered around their house looking at all their stuff. Until finally the Angels had to pull them out of the city by the hand. And this story goes on and on,the Angels said when you leave the city and the destruction begins DO NOT LOOK BACK. People have such a hard time giving up this world letting go. They say even today the valley where Lots wife fell is a valley of salt. She had to look back one more time of her world the things she loved ,  out of the heart God looks at the heart. Lot was saved because of Abraham he pleaded with God for the righteous in the cities of Sodom there were five total destroyed.  Gen 18 says if there be even ten righteous as we see there was not one righteous in Sodom. And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the Plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt. Lot was saved because of Abraham. And we are the children of Abraham and the promise God gave to Abraham through Issac the promise seed. Rom 11:26 ASV - and so all Israel shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Now when people see this they see only the letter of this word. What we must see is the spirit of this word. Everything in our life of flesh and being born of the loins of Adam was condemned in the flesh. We were born of the will of our fathers not born again of God. The bible says the flesh profits nothing.
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.  Our father had a wonderful plan from the very beginning.   Mat 13:34 ASV - All these things spake Jesus in parables unto the multitudes; and without a parable spake he nothing unto them:
Mat 13:35 ASV - that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.  This word foundation in this verse is the key to understanding Greek: katabole

Foundation (To Lay), Founded:
lit., "a casting down," is used

(a) of "conceiving seed," Hbr 11:11;

(b) of "a foundation," as that which is laid down, or in the sense of founding; metaphorically, of "the foundation of the world;" in this respect two phrases are used,

(1) "from the foundation of the world," Mat 25:34 (in the most authentic mss. in 13:35 there is no phrase representing "of the world"); Luk 11:50; Hbr 4:3; 9:26; Rev 13:8; 17:8;

(2) "before the foundation of the world," Jhn 17:24; Eph 1:4; 1Pe 1:20. The latter phrase looks back to the past eternity.   They say Jesus was before the beginning of time well this says it to. He was the word of God and every thing that was made was made by him there was nothing made that was not made by him.  Jhn 3:27 ASV - John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it have been given him from heaven.  This is absolute and everything in our life's has been given by our father.  He has a wonderful plan. Faith is the substance and all we do is give God our total substance.  Jesus was the stone that was rejected they rejected Gods plan from the foundation of the world. The gospel is the truth to salvation.  Parables were for the wise in spirit and it confounded those who heard by the letter not the spirit.   Jesus said my sheep know my voice and they hear me.  Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!  Jhn 3:4 ASV - Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?    Nicodemus saw what he said in the letter he was trying to understand it in his own reasoning.  Well I have said a lot again and I fell compelled to write this way, I am in no way arrived yet but I know God is reveling his word to those that seek him.   Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Jhn 3:13 ASV - And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, [even] the Son of man, who is in heaven.  The only ones that will ascend into heaven in the end is those that manifest the fruit of Jesus. Yes we are saved by faith and by it we will please God. The word says as we have received Christ so walk in him.  The only altar we should fall on is his cross, fall on the rock of our salvation. Mat 21:43 ASV - Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
Mat 21:44 ASV - And he that falleth on this stone shall be broken to pieces: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will scatter him as dust.
Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!

One more thing and it is a wonderful truth. Hbr 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.  The whole verse is full of truth but the word marrow is very interesting in the fact that our red blood cells are created from the morrow of our bones.  And it says even to the morrow,   So if we look at this and see closely God is changing our DNA by his word . This word has the power to save our souls James says. It has the ability to divide our soul from our spirit .  1Cr 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  1Cr 15:38 ASV - but God giveth it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.
1Cr 15:40 ASV - There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the [glory] of the terrestrial is another. Jesus said unless a seed die and fall into the ground it cannot bear fruit. I think he is talking about our old carnal flesh our old man. You know God saved Lot because of Abraham , matter of fact Abraham saved Lot twice. Lot and his family were tied to the world it was all the familiar things in their life that held them down . When I first read this I said Lord why would a man especially Lot he lived with Abraham seeing all the blessing Abraham received from God. And how Abraham as he moved out in the wilderness he would build altars and make sacrifice offerings unto God. Everything Lot had was from Abraham the servants the animals all he had Abraham gave him It says Abraham was very rich.   When Lots people began to fight with Abraham's servants Abraham went to lot and said we are brothers we can not fight. You pick out a place you want to go and I will go the other way. So there will be plenty of land for us all. Lot looked around and saw that Sodom was very green and a well watered place so he took the best he thought. So Lot picked Sodom to live, he first lived in a tent but soon he was living right in the city. The bible says that just before God destroyed the city's in the plain and Sodom ,Gomorrah .   Gen 19:29 ASV - And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the Plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt.  When Abraham pleaded with God from fifty to ten righteous in the city Abraham was pleading for Lots life. Lot was saved because of Abraham's righteousness God remembered Abraham. And so will we be saved because of the seed of Abraham .      Gal 3:16 ASV - Now to Abraham were the promises spoken, and to his seed. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
We go back to  Mat 13:35 ASV - that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.  Foundation in the Greek of "conceiving seed  Such a wonderful plan of God from the very beginning.   Jhn 1:1 ASV - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jhn 1:10 ASV - He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world knew him not.
