The Bread Of Presence

Mat 6:11 KJV - Give us this day our daily bread.

1Sa 21:3 KJV - Now therefore what is under thine hand? give [me] five [loaves of] bread in mine hand, or what there is present.
1Sa 21:4 KJV - And the priest answered David, and said, [There is] no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women.
1Sa 21:5 KJV - And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women [have been] kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and [the bread is] in a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel.

Act 27:30 ASV - And as the sailors were seeking to flee out of the ship, and had lowered the boat into the sea, under color as though they would lay out anchors from the foreship,
Act 27:31 ASV - Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.
Act 27:32 ASV - Then the soldiers cut away the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.
Act 27:33 ASV - And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take some food, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye wait and continue fasting, having taken nothing.
Act 27:34 ASV - Wherefore I beseech you to take some food: for this is for your safety: for there shall not a hair perish from the head of any of you.
Act 27:35 ASV - And when he had said this, and had taken bread, he gave thanks to God in the presence of all; and he brake it, and began to eat.
Act 27:36 ASV - Then were they all of good cheer, and themselves also took food.
Act 27:42 ASV - And the soldiers' counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any [of them] should swim out, and escape.
Act 27:43 ASV - But the centurion, desiring to save Paul, stayed them from their purpose; and commanded that they who could swim should cast themselves overboard, and get first to the land;
Act 27:44 ASV - and the rest, some on planks, and some on [other] things from the ship. And so it came to pass, that they all escaped safe to the land.

Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.  What was Paul saying here it was prophetic in everyway.     He was saying in this verse to us , you can not save yourself stay in the Ark of safety.
Paul said unless you eat this bread you will have no strength !  They had been without bread for fourteen days, The number fourteen in bible numeric's  is   Deliverance and Salvation
The 35 verse says Paul gave them the Bread of presence  1 Sam 21: 4  and it sustained them and brought Joy.    Verse 42 The natural world will try and kill these men bringing true bread of life , but God will save his own.  And they all escaped safe to land.

1Sa 21:4 KJV - And the priest answered David, and said, [There is] no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women.
There are two kinds of bread to look at in this verse ,  now the word common is used here to describe the differences of the bread in the world another gospel and the true unleavened bread of God.     The show bread is the holy fresh bread that was place on the table every sabbath day by the priest, Gods word is above everything else.  And the word Common in verse 4 above   [There is] no common bread under mine hand common in Hebrew is  profaneness, commonness, unholy, profane, sand.   This word Sand is very interesting remembering the parable that building your house on sand will bring destruction when the flood comes, and so will common bread another gospel.    This is also describing leavened bread corrupt bread common apostate teaching .      Now look at this close let us take the microscope of the Holy Spirit and see what the Lord is showing us today. Now no true word of God is common all of Gods word is Holy and true.   Rom 3:4 ASV - God forbid: yea, let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, And mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment.
Let God be true and every man a liar. The word says he could swear by no one greater than himself so he swore by his word he has kept his promise.  Every word born of the spirit of God is profitable  2Ti 3:16 ASV - Every scripture inspired of God [is] also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness.
Once again I am speaking of the spirit of Gods word this verse in 1Sam 24 is a type and shadow of greater things to come and they have come in the person of Jesus Christ the SON OF MAN.
When I read this verse in  , Luk 6:3 ASV - And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read even this, what David did, when he was hungry, he, and they that were with him;  There is a physical hunger and there is a spiritual hunger. It says blessed are they that hunger after righteousness FOR they shall be filled .    Jhn 6:26 ASV - Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw signs, but because ye ate of the loaves, and were filled.
Jhn 6:27 ASV - Work not for the food which perisheth, but for the food which abideth unto eternal life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him the Father, even God, hath sealed.
There are two kinds of bread here the spiritual and the physical. The common bread is speaking of the false bread , the other gospel men preach. There is only one bread and one righteous bread it is Jesus and him crucified.            Jhn 6:35 ASV - Jesus said unto them. I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Jhn 6:48 ASV - I am the bread of life.
He that comes to me Shall never hunger and shall never thirst , remember where Jesus said in       Jhn 6:51 ASV - I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.
Jhn 6:55 ASV - For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
You must see this in the Spirit and not the letter.   His flesh is his word he was the word made flesh and his blood is his very nature  and it says the life is in the blood.  We must take on his nature and the way we do that is to be filled with his SPIRIT.
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.   THIS IS BEING BORN AGAIN , This word is reconciling us unto God every day that we obey his word  it is renewing us daily.  Born of God born of his Spirit
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.
Now we look at the verse's closely to see the parallel of truth in the Old and the new.  The bread of presences was the bread that came off the table and was replace every sabbath with new bread .
Hbr 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart  .  And still holy and still meant for holy people sanctified vessels.  Remember it is spiritual bread for you and I.     David took the holy bread and gave it to his men also. He said he and his men were clean vessels because they were not defiled by women   Rev 17  .  David is a type and a shadow of servants to come even now they are being nurtured and fed this holy bread to become servants just as the David in Sam 24.      Rom 6:22 ASV - But now being made free from sin and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end eternal life.
1Cr 1:30 ASV - But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who was made unto us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:
1Th 4:3 ASV - For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye abstain from fornication;
1Th 4:4 ASV - that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor,
Hbr 12:14 ASV - Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:
Mat 24:24 ASV - For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

Rev 17:2 ASV - with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and they that dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her fornication.
Rev 17:6 ASV - And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered with a great wonder.
Who is the harlot of Revelations 17    Harlot     Greek: porne
"a prostitute, harlot" (from pernemi, "to sell"), is used
(a) literally, in Mat 21:31, 32, of those who were the objects of the mercy shown by Christ; in Luk 15:30, of the life of the Prodigal; in 1Cr 6:15, 16, in a warning to the Corinthian church against the prevailing licentiousness which had made Corinth a byword; in Hbr 11:31; Jam 2:25, of Rahab;

(b) metaphorically, of mystic Babylon, Rev 17:1, 5 (AV, "harlots"), 15, 16; 19:2, RV, for AV, "whore."
1Cr 6:15 ASV - Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? shall I then take away the members of Christ, and make them members of a harlot? God forbid.
1Cr 6:16 ASV - Or know ye not that he that is joined to a harlot is one body? for, The twain, saith he, shall become one flesh.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
Act 13:34 ASV - And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he hath spoken on this wise, I will give you the holy and sure [blessings] of David.
2Pe 1:19 ASV - And we have the word of prophecy [made] more sure; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts:

Rom 8:23 ASV - And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for [our] adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body.     There is a great out pouring coming to this earth in these last days a revival of Gods church his kingdom.  It is an act of his mercy upon those that see in that day and repent turn from their flesh and sins . For in that day there will be great tribulation  unlike any other time in the history of man . Tribulation such as the children endured in the wilderness coming out of Egypt .   They had to choose whom they would serve  ,  the Lord said he brought them out into the wilderness so he could show his great power and love to them . And he did many wonderful things but yet they still murmured and complained but as you see they did not go back to Egypt. They either repented or they died in the desert.  Something to understand here is that of all the people that started this journey people that walked out of Egypt only Joshua and Caleb actually walked out of Egypt and  walked into the promise land, the children born in the time of this journey were circumcised  according to the law and went into the promise land but only two of the many that started survived their faith saved them.      God in this last day will show his mercy once again unto those he Loves . He is a God of mercy , slow to anger and full of Loving kindness.  But his word is forever he has set his word at your table to feed upon and be blessed .
Isa 55:3 ASV - Incline your ear, and come unto me; hear, and your soul shall live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
David knew the true bread of God he knew Gods mercy and just like Abraham he saw Jesus from afar and worshiped him .     Luk 10:24 ASV - for I say unto you, that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.  Jesus said Abraham saw my day and he was glad.

Luk 6:4 ASV - how he entered into the house of God, and took and ate the showbread  , and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat save for the priests alone?
David entered in to the house of God and he and his men ate the precious word of God, the bread of presence Jesus .  Now I am seeing the church triumphant when I say this , David is a type of the first fruits unto God in his day. And you and everyone that believes are the first fruits of Christ unto God . It is all about Jesus from beginning of this book to the end this scripture is all about Gods Mercy and Grace unto you.
Luk 6:5 ASV - And he said unto them, The Son of man is lord of the sabbath.

Sabbath     Greek: sabbaton | sabbata
Sabbath:

the latter, the plural form was transliterated from the Aramaic word, which was mistaken for a plural; hence the singular, sabbaton, was formed from it. The root means "to cease, desist" (Heb., shabath; cp. Arab., sabata, "to intercept, interrupt"); the doubled b has an intensive force, implying a complete cessation or a making to cease, probably the former. The idea is not that of relaxation or refreshment, but cessation from activity.
The observation of the seventh day of the week, enjoined upon Israel, was a sign between God and His earthly people, based upon the fact that after the six days of creative operations He rested, Exd 31:16, 17, with Exd 20:8-11. The OT regulations were developed and systematized to such an extent that they became a burden upon the people (who otherwise rejoiced in the rest provided) and a byword for absurd extravagance. Two treatises of the Mishna (the Shabbath and 'Erubin) are entirely occupied with regulations for the observance; so with the discussions in the Gemara, on Rabbinical opinions. The effect upon current opinion explains the antagonism roused by the Lord's cures wrought on the "Sabbath," e.g., Mat 12:9-13; Jhn 5:5-16, and explains the fact that on a "Sabbath" the sick were brought to be healed after sunset, e.g., Mar 1:32. According to Rabbinical ideas, the disciples, by plucking ears of corn (Mat 12:1; Mar 2:23), and rubbing them (Luk 6:1), broke the "sabbath" in two respects; for to pluck was to reap, and to rub was to thresh. The Lord's attitude towards the "sabbath" was by way of freeing it from these vexatious traditional accretions by which it was made an end in itself, instead of a means to an end (Mar 2:27).

In the Epistles the only direct mentions are in Col 2:16, "a sabbath day," RV (which rightly has the singular, see 1st parag., above), where it is listed among things that were "a shadow of the things to come" (ie., of the age introduced at Pentecost), and in Hbr 4:4-11, where the perpetual sabbatismos is appointed for believers (see REST); inferential references are in Rom 14:5; Gal 4:9-11. For the first three centuries of the Christian era the first day of the week was never confounded with the "sabbath;" the confusion of the Jewish and Christian institutions was due to declension from apostolic teaching.
The only way to enter in to this rest is to eat the bread of life and cease from your works
The priest of today the messengers called of God have hot bread to put on Gods table today fresh bread . Everyday is our sabbath day and our rest.

Shewbread:

Note: The phrase rendered "the shewbread" is formed by the combination of the nouns prothesis, "a setting forth" (pro, "before," tithemi, "to place") and artos, "a loaf" (in the plural), each with the article, Mat 12:4; Mar 2:26; Luk 6:4, lit., "the loaves of the setting forth;" in Hbr 9:2, lit., "the setting forth of the loaves." The corresponding OT phrases are lit., "bread of the face," Exd 25:30, i.e., the presence, referring to the Presence of God (cp. Isa 63:9 with Exd 33:14, 15); "the bread of ordering," 1Ch 9:32, marg. In Num 4:7 it is called "the continual bread;" in 1Sa 21:4, 6, "holy bread" (AV, "hallowed"). In the Sept. of 1Ki 7:48, it is called "the bread of the offering" (prosphora, "a bearing towards"). The twelve loaves, representing the tribes of Israel, were set in order every Sabbath day before the Lord, "on the behalf of the children," Lev 24:8, RV (marg., and AV, "from"), "an everlasting covenant." The loaves symbolized the fact that on the basis of the sacrificial atonement of the Cross, believers are accepted before God, and nourished by Him in the Person of Christ. The showbread was partaken of by the priests, as representatives of the nation. Priesthood now being co-extensive with all who belong to Christ, 1Pe 2:5, 9, He, the Living Bread, is the nourishment of all, and where He is, there, representatively, they are.
