The Kingdom Within You

Eph 6:10 ASV-Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.11-Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12-For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the princi-palities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.13-Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.

There is a warfare to be fought in these last days and it is a spiritual war not physical.  Our combat is with the above evil forces against the spiritual hosts of wicked- ness in the heavenly places. Jesus taught how to war against the devil not mankind. He said to love your enemy do good to those who abuse you.
Luk 6:35ASV But love your enemies, and do them good, and lend, never despairing; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of the Most High: for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.

For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood , Jesus said father forgive them they know not what they do.  This walk and the verse says the law and the prophets were until John: from that time the gospel of the kingdom of God is preached, and every man entereth violently into it.

 Rom 12:1 ASV - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.  A living sacrifice
Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Transformed by the renewing of your mind this war is spiritual warfare and the battle is for your SOUL.

Mat 10:28 ASV - And be not afraid of them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
1Cr 9:23 ASV - And I do all things for the gospel's sake, that I may be a joint partaker thereof.
1Cr 9:24 ASV - Know ye not that they that run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? Even so run; that ye may attain.
1Cr 9:25 ASV - And every man that striveth in the games exerciseth self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
1Cr 9:26 ASV - I therefore so run, as not uncertainly; so fight I, as not beating the air:
1Cr 9:27 ASV - but I buffet my body, and bring it into bondage: lest by any means, after that I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.

Buffet: The word Buffet  Greek: hupopiazo
lit., "to strike under the eye" (from hupopion, "the part of the face below the eye;" hupo, "under," ops, "an eye"), hence, to beat the face black and blue (to give a black eye), is used metaphorically, and translated "buffet" in 1Cr 9:27 (AV, "keep under"), of Paul's suppressive treatment of his body, in order to keep himself spiritually fit (RV marg., "bruise"); so RV marg. in Luk 18:5, of the persistent widow, text, "wear out" (AV, "weary").    to beat black and blue, to smite so as to cause bruises and livid spots, like a boxer one buffets his body, handle it roughly, discipline by hardships

Mat 10:38 ASV - And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.
The crucifixion suffered," e.g., 1Cr 1:17, 18, where "the word of the cross," RV, stands for the Gospel; Gal 5:11, where crucifixion is metaphorically used of the renunciation of the world, that characterizes the true Christian life; Gal 6:12, 14; Eph 2:16; Phl 3:18.
Rom 8:12 ASV - So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh:
Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Rom 8:14 ASV - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Luk 14:33 ASV - So therefore whosoever he be of you that renounceth not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

         Is this word for you? Is the book you read just paper and ink or is it life giving bread to your soul? Listen these very scriptures were written to you. And it is called the good news, The apostate church has put many of God's people to sleep and they are living under another gospel.  This word here will renew your mind and set your soul free. Are you counting the cost? Are you looking deep into yourself and seeing this word creating fruit in your life?  The gospel of the kingdom of God is preached, and every man entereth violently into it. Letting nothing stop you from your calling to righteous living and pursuing the kingdom of God. What ever the cost what ever the hardship , Paul put his body in its place and said no to the flesh. But I buffet my body, and bring it into bondage: lest by any means, after that I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.  Do you see what he is saying if we live to our carnal man then we will be rejected by God.

 1Jo 2:15 ASV-Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.16-For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.17-And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Mat 11:9 ASV - But wherefore went ye out? to see a prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.
Mat 11:10 ASV - This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, Who shall prepare thy way before thee.
Mat 11:11 ASV - Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not arisen a greater than John the Baptist: yet he that is but little in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
Mat 11:12 ASV - And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and men of violence take it by force.
Mat 11:13 ASV - For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
Mat 11:14 ASV - And if ye are willing to receive it, this is Elijah, that is to come.

Luk 16:16 ASV - The law and the prophets were until John: from that time the gospel of the kingdom of God is preached, and every man entereth violently into it.    How does this verse intertwine with the others above .   Verse 12 says the Kingdom of heaven suffers violence.
 Luk 17:20 ASV - And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 ASV - neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.   The violence is you standing firm on this holy living and resisting the evil in this world.  Jam 4:7 ASV - Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

This is a promise God's word is above every-thing, subject your self unto God and bind the devil in your life and he HAS to go. Matt 11-12 says men of violence take it by force.  Luke 16-16 from that time the gospel of the kingdom of God is preached, and every man entereth violently into it.  There is an adver- sary in this walk with God and from Adam and Eve to this very day he has troubled and even kill God's saints to stop the gospel from being preached.

The word violence in the greek is also Press In. Please understand this word violence is a spiritual word in this verse, and the enemy is after your Soul not your body.

Rom 14:17 ASV - for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. But we must see that this word is speaking of men with desire to enter in to the kingdom of God. Eating and drinking is of the flesh the body of man .   And it says it is a spiritual kingdom  and we enter into this kingdom with great zeal and tenacious fervor for this kingdom.  The violence is spiritual not physical it is seen in the spirit of this word not the letter. Jesus said if they hate me they will hate you also .  The word press is also describing the word violence, a pressing in to Gods kingdom and nothing can deter or change our quest to apprehend this.

Eph 3:16 ASV - that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;
Eph 3:17 ASV - that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Eph 3:18 ASV - may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
Eph 3:19 ASV - and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God.      Mat 16:16 ASV - And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 16:17 ASV - And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven.
Mat 16:18 ASV - And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.  Mat 16:19 ASV - I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Jesus said the natural world has not reveled this to you Peter but the father in heaven. We must see there is a spiritual revelation to this .   Jesus said the gates of hell shall NOT prevail against the church.  Prevail  Greek: katischuo

Prevail:
"to be strong against" (kata, "against," and No. 1), is used in Mat 16:18, negatively of the gates of Hades; in Luk 21:36 (in the most authentic mss.; some have kataxioo, "to count worthy;" see AV), of "prevailing" to escape judgments at the close of this age; in Luk 23:23, of the voices of the chief priests, rulers and people against Pilate regarding the crucifixion of Christ. These gates or meant to keep some in and others out. We know the church in not bound  so the

Mat 10:28 ASV - And be not afraid of them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Greek: biazo
  Press (Verb): in the Middle Voice, "to press violently" or "force one's way into," is translated "presseth" in Luk 16:16, AV, RV, "entereth violently," a meaning confirmed by the papyri. Moulton and Milligan also quote a passage from D.S. Sharp's Epictetus and the NT, speaking of "those who (try to) force their way in;" the verb suggests forceful endeavor.

Greek: biastes
Violence, Violent, Violently:
"a forceful or violent man," is used in Mat 11:12.
See FORCE, B, No. 1, Note.
Note: In Hbr 11:34, AV, dunamis, "power" (RV), is rendered "violence."
Phl 3:14 ASV - I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

PRESS IN THE     Greek: dioko
Follow, Follow After: denotes
(a) "to drive away," Mat 23:34;
(b) "to pursue without hostility, to follow, follow after," said of righteousness, Rom 9:30; the Law, Rom 9:31; 12:13, hospitality ("given to") lit., "pursuing" (as one would a calling); the things which make for peace, Rom 14:19; love, 1Cr 14:1; that which is good, 1Th 5:15; righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness, 1Ti 6:11; righteousness, faith, love, peace, 2Ti 2:22; peace and sanctification, Hbr 12:14; peace, 1Pe 3:11;

Hbr 12:14 ASV - Follow after peace with all men, and the Sanctification ! without which no man shall see the Lord:

Rev 21:6 The Fountain Of The Water Of Life

 1Cr 10:2 ASV - and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
 The cloud being the Spirit of God and the sea being the baptizem  of water according to the gospel of the apostles .
 Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Jhn 12:24 ASV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit.

Here Jesus is speaking of himself  but I see great truth here , he being the seed, and he died and he was buried into the earth, but he rose to newness of life .  The word says he was the sower of the seed and the seed Jesus sowed is the word of God his father .
Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit.   Now we are the earthy people made of the dust of the earth . Born of a corruptible nature Adams nature , and we being his offspring have his nature .  But Jesus came to set the captives free free from what ! Our fathers nature .  Jesus said you must be born again to see the kingdom of
 1Co 15:20 ASV - But now hath Christ been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of them that are asleep.
1Co 15:21 ASV - For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
1Co 15:22 ASV - For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:44 ASV - it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
1Co 15:47 ASV - The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.
1Co 15:53 ASV - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
The word of God is that power to put to death our old man ,  the seed of the word of God has the power to save our souls . We are the earth or the good ground the seed falls into and we die to self and become born again of a new nature the old man is passed away and all things become new.

 Jesus was the son of man on the earth one man, he took the keys of hell and death and gave that right of eternal life to whom ever believed . And the fruit of his seed is every one that would come to believe and have faith is his word . Jesus went from a single man to a corporate body of believers the body of Christ.  Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

Jhn 12:25 ASV - He that loveth his life loseth it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!  The only way for one to be born again is you must die to self, the carnal man must die. Putting to death the deeds of the flesh.

1Pe 3:20 ASV - that aforetime were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water:
1Pe 3:21 ASV - which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;

The Fountain of Youth is a legendary spring that supposedly restores the youth of anyone who drinks or bathes in its waters . As a child I have heard of this story ,  and now that the word of God has come into my heart I know the meaning of the fountain of youth.  There is a fountain of youth  but I am not speaking of the flesh of man living forever, that is what the story is about man in his own wisdom living for ever .
1Cr 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Jhn 3:13 ASV - And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, even the Son of man, who is in heaven.

The only ones who shall meet him in the air in that day is those that have the very nature and character of Christ Jesus he died in his flesh but rose again to newness of life and every one that comes after him will manifest his life in them.   That is why the word says God has call you to be sons of God.

1Jo 3:1 ASV - Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested  ( in us this is the mirror)    , we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.
2Cr 3:18 ASV - But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.
1Jo 3:3 ASV - And every one that hath this hope set on him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Rev 21:6 ASV - And he said unto me, They are come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

The water is the life giving truth of Gods word. Remember the tower of babel, the premise here is always the same with natural man.  He wants to believe there is another way into heaven, even though  God that made that heaven he resides there and the earth these men live on is his foot stool.   Even today men say there are many roads unto God. I see where Jesus said I am the door,

 Jhn 10:9 ASV - I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture.

The only way to God is through Christ, and men are still looking for the fountain of there youth, can you see in this they are trying to save their flesh their life on this earth. The soul of man will live for ever not his flesh, and the question is where will his soul live in the end of all things.

Jhn 6:65 ASV - And he said, For this cause have I said unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it be given unto him of the Father.    Luk 17:33 ASV - Whosoever shall seek to gain his life shall lose it: but whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
Mat 16:26 ASV - For what shall a man be profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and forfeit his life? or what shall a man give in exchange for his life?        Mat 10:39 ASV - He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.    So what I am saying is there is no other way into heaven or into the kingdom of God than to follow Christ , he is the Way Truth and The life .   The father said    Mat 17:5 ASV - While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.    For God was in Christ reconciling the world   2Cr 5:19 ASV - to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Reconcile and Reconciliation here has a two fold meaning Greek: katallasso

Reconcile, Reconciliation: properly denotes "to change, exchange" (especially of money); hence, of persons, "to change from enmity to friendship, to reconcile." With regard to the relationship between God and man, the use of this and connected words shows that primarily "reconciliation" is what God accomplishes, exercising His grace towards sinful man on the ground of the death of Christ in propitiatory sacrifice under the judgment due to sin, 2Cr 5:19, where both the verb and the noun are used (cp. No. 2, in Col 1:21). By reason of this men in their sinful condition and alienation from God are invited to be "reconciled" to Him; that is to say, to change their attitude, and accept the provision God had made, whereby their sins can be remitted and they themselves be justified in His sight in Christ.

Greek: katallage:  Atonement, translated "atonement" in the AV of Rom 5:11, signifies, not "atonement," but "reconciliation," as in the RV. See also Rom 11:15; 2Cr 5:18, 19. So with the corresponding verb katallasso, See under RECONCILE. "Atonement" (the explanation of this English word as being "at-one-ment" is entirely fanciful) is frequently found in the OT. See, for instance, Leviticus, chapters 16 and 17. The corresponding NT words are hilasmos, "propitiation," 1Jo 2:2; 4:10, and hilasterion, Rom 3:25; Hbr 9:5, "mercy-seat," the covering of the ark of the covenant. These describe the means (in and through the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His death on the Cross by the shedding of His blood in His vicarious sacrifice for sin) by which God shows mercy to sinners. John 6:53-69  Jesus has the words of life.

Jhn 6:67 ASV - Jesus said therefore unto the twelve, Would ye also go away?
Jhn 6:68 ASV - Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
Man since the beginning of time has tried to circumvent the truth of God the absolute law of liberty.   Conviction of sin is what drives man to seek another way into heaven.

1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  Righteousness comes at a cost,   the cost is your life in the flesh.   2Pe 1:21 ASV - For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

 So men moved by Gods Spirit wrote this precious word.  As God gave the unction they were inspired by God to write his word.   It is very important to you realize as you read this that God has sent this word to you.  And he sent his spirit unto you to show you his mercy and grace. The word says in that day EVERY man will stand at the judgement seat of Christ.

 2Cr 5:10 ASV - For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
So we that believe and obey his word are a corporate body of Christ and than we are an individual in Christ .   Every man will answer to God in that day. What I am leading up to is that ,  this word is sent to each man to believe it and to obey it and to build his own house unto God.

 Rom 1:17 ASV - For therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith: as it is written, But the righteous shall live by faith.
1Cr 10:1 ASV - For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
1Cr 10:2 ASV - and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
1Cr 10:3 ASV - and did all eat the same spiritual food;
1Cr 10:4 ASV - and did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them: and the rock was Christ.
Num 20:8 ASV- Take the rod, and assemble the congregation, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes, that it give forth its water; and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock; so thou shalt give the congregation and their cattle drink.
The rock is Christ the rock the builders rejected , and the water is the word of God.
Eph 5:25 ASV - Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;
Eph 5:26 ASV - that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
Eph 5:27 ASV - that he might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
 Jhn 7:38 ASV - He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, from within him shall flow rivers of living water.
Jhn 7:39 ASV - But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believed on him were to receive: for the Spirit was not yet given; because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Yes there is a fountain and it is Christ in you the hope of Glory.

Heb 4-12 Sharper Than Any Two-Edged Sword

Isa 60:9 ASV - Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of Jehovah thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

Pro 19:12 ASV - The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; But his favor is as dew upon the grass.

Jam 1:25 ASV - But he that looketh into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and so continueth, being not a hearer that forgetteth but a doer that worketh, this man shall be blessed in his doing.
Gal 5:1 ASV - For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage.

When a man is thrown into a dungeon a place where there is no way out,   alone and with out any view. No one is there to listen and plead their case to. Oh but wait there is a person there,  some one that can hear and deliver.  Do we plead our case before man and hoping for relief. Only God can put us there and only God can deliver us from our trial.

Hbr 12:11 ASV - All chastening seemeth for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yieldeth peaceable fruit unto them that have been exercised thereby, even the fruit of righteousness.
Heb 12:8 The trial seems to be beyond anything we have ever experienced in our life, and yes at that moment our thinking seems somewhat beyond sanity Heb 12:11.  Listen God has decided this trial is necessary it  is his doing and repentance and a broken heart is the key for deliverance.     2Cr 12:7 ASV - And by reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted overmuch, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted overmuch.

First of all we are not Paul but we are people of flesh and all man kind must fall at the cross and be saved. Putting our self's on our altar, our own cross to be burned as a living sacrifice.  Spiritually we die every day to our carnal man and the burning is to die to our self's and walk after the spirit. We put to death the deeds of the flesh.  Dan 3:25 ASV - He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the aspect of the fourth is like a son of the gods.  The word loose Heb/ to loosen, abide, begin .  The wonderful thing here to see is the only thing that burned up in the fire was There Bondage! the ropes that bound them was a type of there being bound to the world through their flesh . And Jesus was there to keep them.
 Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:
The Holy Spirit is the beginning of a new life a wonderful new life with Christ, you become born again and start walking with Jesus. And the fire is the burning away of the carnal nature you were born with and in the end you become a son of God.
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:  Born of his Image and of his nature ,the fruit of the spirit is the nature of Christ.
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
 We were born of the first Adam unto sin , but Jesus canceled that by his sacrifice on the cross and he became the second Adam and gave us newness of life by his spirit. He conquered death and took the keys of hell and death that bound us to this world and set us free .

We have been baptized with the Holy Ghost and with FIRE. The fire is our walk after we believed salvation than becomes an every day walk. It  is the heart of a man that must be purged  , Gold tried by fire is to bring us into the perfection of Christ Jesus. The verse above is beautiful in that God is reconciling us to himself. I want to take a few words out of the above verse and look at them in the Greek.

Greek: skolops

Thorn, Thorns (Of):
originally denoted "anything pointed," e.g., "a stake;" in Hellenistic vernacular, "a thorn" (so the Sept., in Num 33:55; Eze 28:24; Hsa 2:6), 2Cr 12:7, of the Apostle's "thorn in the flesh;" his language indicates that it was physical, painful, humiliating; it was also the effect of Divinely permitted Satanic antagonism; the verbs rendered "that I should (not) be exalted overmuch" (RV) and "to buffet" are in the present tense, signifying recurrent action, indicating a constantly repeated attack. Lightfoot interprets it as "a stake driven through the flesh," and Ramsay agrees with this. Most commentators adhere to the rendering "thorn." Field says "there is no doubt that the Alexandrine use of skolops for thorn is here intended, and that the ordinary meaning of 'stake' must be rejected." What is stressed is not the metaphorical size, but the acuteness of the suffering and its effects. Attempts to connect this with the circumstances of Act 14:19 and Gal 4:13 are speculative.

A messenger of Satan to buffet me,  a messenger, envoy, one who is sent, an angel, a messenger from God. God is in control of every situation even yours, because he first loved you. Remember the trials and chastening is to bring about the peaceable fruit of Righteousness .

To buffet me,
Greek: kolaphizo  Buffet:
signifies "to strike with clenched hands, to buffet with the fist" (kolaphos, "a fist"), Mat 26:67; Mar 14:65; 1Cr 4:11; 2Cr 12:7; 1Pe 2:20.

That I should not be exalted overmuch.
Greek: huperairo

Exalt, Exalted:
"to raise over" (huper, "above," and airo, see No. 3), is used in the Middle Voice, of "exalting" oneself exceedingly, 2Cr 12:7; 2Th 2:4.

The father knows the power of the flesh in all man kind , he is a respecter of no one person . He sees the beginning from the end . Thank you Lord you first love me.
The word says that a man is but grass and the flower of grass.
 Isa 40:8 ASV - The grass withereth, the flower fadeth; but the word of our God shall stand forever.
Mat 6:30 ASV - But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Rev 9:4 ASV - And it was said unto them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only such men as have not the seal of God on their foreheads.

The word grass here Greek: huperlian,   Chief, Chiefest, Chiefly:
"chiefest" (huper, "over," lian, "exceedingly, pre-eminently, very much"), is used in 2Cr 11:5; 12:11, of Paul's place among the Apostles.
Psa 34:18 ASV - Jehovah is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, And saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.

What is the reason to hold on to your flesh to save your self in this world , Pride goes before destruction.

 Mar 8:36 ASV - For what doth it profit a man, to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life?
Pro 16:18 ASV - Pride goeth before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.

This was Eve's demise she was lead into sin by her pride. It says she saw the sin (fruit )
Gen 3:6 ASV - And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat; and she gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat. From the beginning of time to the end of all things    Romans 12 :1-2  this is the remedy. Do you see what the thorn in Paul's FLESH was! it was his cross to bear. The thorn is to purge us as Gold and to purify us and bring about righteousness and sanctification.  The only altar we have is the cross of Christ and the power of that cross will save us.

 Hbr 13:10 ASV - We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat that serve the tabernacle.   Eat  metaph. to devour, consume. Jesus said unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood.
   Jhn 6:51 ASV - I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.
Hbr 13:11 ASV - For the bodies of those beasts whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned without the camp.
Hbr 13:12 ASV - Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered without the gate.
Hbr 13:13 ASV - Let us therefore go forth unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.   Go out of the gates of this life and and the lust of the world its trappings of mans soul , bearing his reproach . Pick up you cross and follow me. Unless a man come to this table and eat he has no right to the Kingdom of God.
Hbr 13:14 ASV - For we have not here an abiding city, but we seek after the city which is to come.
Brothers and sisters this word is for you , how can it be understood any other way.  This book called the bible is a book like any other book as to the fact it has paper and ink.  But unlike all other books if it is applied spiritually and received with the heart it becomes life to the reader.
 Hbr 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.

It is Gods word to you, it is living and active to the hearer and the doer.  This word will cut your flesh your carnal nature sharper than any other sword. See what it says about you   piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit . God is not interested in your flesh,  its you soul he is saving. The word says that God breathed into the nostrils of Adam and he became a living SOUL. The flesh of man is appointed to die. But the Soul of man will live for ever the soul will never die. My question to you is where will your soul live in the end of all things when God comes for his elect. If the righteous live with God forever more where will the unrighteous soul live. Today is the day to repent and fall at the cross of Jesus and be that broken and contrite heart . With out repentance no man shall see God,turn and walk towards the cross.

Isa 28:16 ASV A Tried Stone A Precious Corner Stone

 Isa 28:16 ASV - therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner -stone of sure foundation: he that believeth shall not be in haste.

1Cr 3:10 ASV - According to the grace of God which was given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder I laid a foundation; and another buildeth thereon. But let each man take heed how he buildeth thereon. 1Cr 3:11 ASV - For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1Cr 3:12 ASV - But if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble;
1Cr 3:13 ASV - each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man's work of what sort it is.

 Jesus said troubles would come and it has I believe last days trouble.  We are in the beginning of  that time now and the only way for some to be saved is to bring trials and hardships.  Look at the slaves of the 1800s today people call there songs Negro spirituals.  Yes they were and under so much torment and pain in that day the only thing they had was Jesus that is why they sang for deliverance !  just as Paul and Silas when they were locked in prison they sang unto the Lord for deliverance .      When God takes it all away and there is nothing left and nothing to hold on to but Jesus than they will sing too.  Now we are blessed on every side and we have an abundance of wealth we just cant see it .  I was reading in  Gen 1:27 ASV - And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.  I see now what this is about the word Image is not the body or the flesh of man God had no body . Our bodies were created to be a vehicle to take us where we need to go and of course Adam was a super human at that moment .  Your body was made to compliment your soul that's it and we are to have dominion over our flesh always.  The flesh does not drive the soul its the other way around our spirit man is in charge and God is saving our souls . That was the curse God put on Adam the curse of sin and death , do you realize the tree of life was right next to the tree of knowledge. And God said you can eat from ANY tree here but the tree of knowledge.  They had the tree of life and it was allowed by God to eat from  , mans flesh took control of them and they wanted to know evil and good more than live for eternity. It says Eve saw that it was good and it would make her wise  .      1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  But God made us in his Image and what is the image of God .  It is his likeness who he is of his character and of his nature   all the authority of God     Isa 11:1 ASV - And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit.
Isa 11:2 ASV - And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.              .  God is a spirit he has no body the only body he had was Jesus and it says the fullness of the God head dwells in Christ .   Rom 8:11 ASV - But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.   Jesus was the  express image of his father ,  the very likeness he had all the attributes of God . Now Paul calls this a mystery     Col 1:26 ASV - even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,
Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:    Jesus said he came in his fathers name or his fathers Image .  Col 1:15 ASV - who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;  Of all creation from beginning of time to the end of all things.
Col 1:16 ASV - for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him;  You must see it says for IN him were all things created the power and the very likeness of God was in Christ.  As to his flesh he said if you cannot believe me than believe the works that I do it is the father in me he doth the works.    2Cr 5:19 ASV - to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.   Jesus said to Phillip have I been so long time with you and you do not know who I am you see me you are looking at the Father .   Jesus brought the word of God to us and spiritually speaking he was the word made flesh .   Eze 43:10 ASV - Thou, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.    The house is his church every one that believes, we are the spiritual Israel the bride of Christ . You are the living church of God he has a plan for you and it is coming into view.     Being born again is being born of his spirit and Jesus had the spirit of his father and the promise is unto you also .   Jesus is the very pattern of Gods will for you.   When he said unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood his flesh is his word and his blood is his very nature the exact likeness of the father   Jhn 10:30 ASV - I and the Father are one.       Rom 11:25 ASV - For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant of this mystery, lest ye be wise in your own conceits, that a hardening in part hath befallen Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in;
Rom 11:26 ASV - and so all Israel shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Rom 11:27 ASV - And this is my covenant unto them, When I shall take away their sins.
Jesus is the pattern to live by Death Burial and Resurrection . Phl 3:10 ASV - that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;
Col 1:17 ASV - and he is before all things, and in him all things consist.
Col 1:18 ASV - And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Jesus took the keys of hell and death , and has given them to his church .  That in all things he might have the preeminence  He was raised to life by his father therefore giving every one that believes in him resurrection life.        Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  This is where the curse of Adam was taken away ,we were born of Adams loins born of his sinful flesh of his will . But through Jesus we have the right to be born again born of God and into resurrection life . Born of his spirit and washed in his blood.
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

Jhn 14:4 ASV - And whither I go, ye know the way.
Jhn 14:5 ASV - Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way?
Jhn 14:6 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.    Here is the answer to all man kind if they will obey ,  God created you to be his children to love him and obey him .  And the only way we can do that is by his grace and faith in his word.  Jesus said I am the only way unto the father , Jesus said he was the only truth of God the father, and lastly he said I am the only life of God . So we must see his life on this earth was the same life God has given to us to live .  It is called perfection in Christ he has shown us the way unto the father .   He died physically and now we die spiritually ,  his blood was the new covenant for us .  He was the second Adam and he did not fail he conquered hell and death and has given to you and every one that believes in him everlasting life .
Eze 43:10 ASV - Thou, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.  God is saying to the son of man show my true house to the house or church on earth  the true pattern by which you are to build your life or your house    Luk 14:28 ASV - For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doth not first sit down and count the cost, whether he have wherewith to complete it?
Luk 14:29 ASV - Lest haply, when he hath laid a foundation, and is not able to finish, all that behold begin to mock him,
Luk 14:30 ASV - saying,   This man began to build, and  was not able to finish.
This is a parable of a man that sets out to become a child of God he is at first happy about the truth of Christ Jesus and goes about making a house for God ,       1Cr 6:19 ASV - Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;   Please keep in mind the parable of the sower of the seed in Luke 8:5-8
The word says so as you have received Christ Jesus so walk in him obeying this word and living this word.   It says the man has laid a foundation the beginning of his spiritual walk with Christ.
But all of a sudden he has a problem in his walk ,the foundation is the most important it is the true Gospel that is the foundation and everything that comes after the foundation is the walk we have .
Jesus was the corner stone the stone the builders rejected , everything built has to have a starting point a survey point and after that the building is referenced off that same point, any thing in question is taken off that corner stone.   If your life is not built off of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
the apostles doctrine than it says when the storm comes and pushes against the house it will fall because it was not built of the firm foundation of Christ.  People start out on fire for God and than because they do not put the word or the seed of the sower into there hearts they are not a doer of the word ,  not just a hearer. Than they fall away,    the birds coming and taking the seed is demons they will steal your joy and take the word from you.  Cares of the world and persecution will come and take them away . But the last of the parable is the seed that falls into the good ground the honest heart and it brings forth fruit of Jesus even up to a hundred fold.    It says this man set out to build a tower now a tower is a place to run into when times of troubles come.
And Jesus is that tower to run into , that firm foundation . But he lost his desire for truth because his flesh took over and he fell away.    The word says that faith is the substance of your hope     not what we see with our eyes if you can see it or smell it touch it that is not faith . Faith is Psalm 91 and believe every word of that chapter .  So when a man sets out to apprehend this great salvation and he gets side tracked because of his lack of faith all those that knew him in the past laugh at him because he was not able to finish his house or tower.  Verse 29 says lest haply
This word Haply is where the word haphazard comes from     Characterized by lack of order or plan.   Even the foundation is not in order with the Gospel. The house he is building is not from the corner stone the starting point of salvation.    Remember Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no man can come unto the father but by me.    This man began to build, and  was not able to finish.    1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jo 2:17 ASV - And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

 2Cr 11:3 ASV - But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity and the purity that is toward Christ.

Col 1:15 ASV - who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;

 The word Church is not a building made of wood , hay and stubble brick and mortar . It is not physical it is spiritual .   Gal 2:20 ASV - I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

1Cr 6:15 ASV - Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? shall I then take away the members of Christ, and make them members of a harlot? God forbid.
1Cr 6:18 ASV - Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
1Cr 6:19 ASV - Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;
1Cr 6:20 ASV - for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.

 Jhn 2:14 ASV - And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
Jhn 2:15 ASV - and he made a scourge of cords, and cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables;
Jhn 2:16 ASV - and to them that sold the doves he said, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
Jhn 2:17 ASV - His disciples remembered that it was written, Zeal for thy house shall eat me up.
Jhn 2:18 ASV - The Jews therefore answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
Jhn 2:19 ASV - Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Jhn 2:20 ASV - The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days?
Jhn 2:21 ASV - But he spake of the temple of his body.
The Jews loved their structure it also took forty six years to build.  And their God was in the building  their witness is if you want to see God there he is we have manifest him in our building . Look at all religions and see they manifest their God in their earthly structures and the pomp and the pageantry.
Granted A body of believers needs a place to gather and fellowship in their savior not forsaking the fellowship of the brethren.  Now the church is also what they call this building and the people are called Christians .  With all the emphasis on the structure and the building than the Church.  When it says Gods called out ones, what are they called out of where are they called to go.       1Jo 2:14 ASV - I have written unto you, fathers, because ye know him who is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the evil one.

     The word Church  Greek: ekklesia

Assembly:
from ek, "out of," and klesis, "a calling" (kaleo, "to call"), was used among the Greeks of a body of citizens "gathered" to discuss the affairs of State, Act 19:39. In the Sept. it is used to designate the "gathering" of Israel, summoned for any definite purpose, or a "gathering" regarded as representative of the whole nation. In Act 7:38 it is used of Israel; in 19:32, 41, of a riotous mob. It has two applications to companies of Christians,

(a) to the whole company of the redeemed throughout the present era, the company of which Christ said, "I will build My Church," Mat 16:18, and which is further described as "the Church which is His Body," Eph 1:22; 5:23,

Greek: christianos

Christian:
"Christian," a word formed after the Roman style, signifying an adherent of Jesus, was first applied to such by the Gentiles and is found in Act 11:26; 26:28; 1Pe 4:16.

Though the word rendered "were called" in Act 11:26 (see under CALL) might be used of a name adopted by oneself or given by others, the "Christians" do not seem to have adopted it for themselves in the times of the Apostles. In 1Pe 4:16, the Apostle is speaking from the point of view of the persecutor; cp. "as a thief," "as a murderer." Nor is it likely that the appellation was given by Jews. As applied by Gentiles there was no doubt an implication of scorn, as in Agrippa's statement in Act 26:28. Tacitus, writing near the end of the first century, says, "The vulgar call them Christians. The author or origin of this denomination, Christus, had, in the reign of Tiberius, been executed by the Procurator, Pontius Pilate"    Col 2:6 ASV - As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,

The Apostles call Gods true people Saints and what is the criteria for being a saint. Can a believer be a Saint . Some people set themselves up as the last word in truth and they have all the answers .   But  Gods word is the answer to all our questions.   There is only one gospel

Greek: hagios

Holiness, Holy, Holily:
 This sainthood is not an attainment, it is a state into which God in grace calls men; yet believers are called to sanctify themselves (consistently with their calling, 2Ti 1:9), cleansing themselves from all defilement, forsaking sin, living a "holy" manner of life, 1Pe 1:15; 2Pe 3:11, and experiencing fellowship with God in His holiness. The saints are thus figuratively spoken of as "a holy temple," 1Cr 3:17 (a local church); Eph 2:21 (the whole Church), cp. Eph 5:27; "a holy priesthood," 1Pe 2:5; "a holy nation," 1Pe 2:9.

"It is evident that hagios and its kindred words... express something more and higher than hieros, sacred, outwardly associated with God;... something more than semnos, worthy, honorable; something more than hagnos, pure, free from defilement. Hagios is... more comprehensive... It is characteristically godlikness"    The word says God made man in his own image.  And  not his own flesh People always see God having a body like theirs . The bible says God is a spirit he has no body Jesus was his body on this earth . So God wanted to revel to you that if you see Jesus you see him.  It says he was the image of the invisible God.         Rom 8:29 ASV - For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:
1Cr 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
Col 1:12 ASV - giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;
Col 1:13 ASV - who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;
Col 1:14 ASV - in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins:
Col 1:15 ASV - who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
Col 1:16 ASV - for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him;
Col 1:17 ASV - and he is before all things, and in him all things consist.
Col 1:18 ASV - And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Col 1:19 ASV - For it was the good pleasure of the Father that in him should all the fulness dwell;
Col 1:20 ASV - and through him to reconcile all things unto himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross; through him, I say, whether things upon the earth, or things in the heavens.

Image   Greek: eikon

Image:   a) of man as he was created as being a visible representation of God, 1Cr 11:7, a being corresponding to the original; the condition of man as a fallen creature has not entirely effaced the "image;" he is still suitable to bear responsibility, he still has Godlike qualities, such as love of goodness and beauty, none of which are found in a mere animal; in the Fall man ceased to be a perfect vehicle for the representation of God; God's grace in Christ will yet accomplish more than what Adam lost;

(b) of regenerate persons, in being moral representations of what God is, Col 3:10; cp. Eph 4:24;

(c) of believers, in their glorified state, not merely as resembling Christ but representing Him, Rom 8:29; 1Cr 15:49; here the perfection is the work of Divine grace; believers are yet to represent, not something like Him, but what He is in Himself, both in His spiritual body and in His moral character;

(d) of Christ in relation to God, 2Cr 4:4, "the image of God," i.e., essentially and absolutely the perfect expression and representation of the Archetype, God the Father; in Col 1:15, "the image of the invisible God" gives the additional thought suggested by the word "invisible," that Christ is the visible representation and manifestation of God to created beings; the likeness expressed in this manifestation is involved in the essential relations in the Godhead, and is therefore unique and perfect; "he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father," Jhn 14:9. "The epithet "invisible."... must not be confined to the apprehension of the bodily senses, but will include the cognizance of the inward eye also"

2Cr 4:4 ASV - in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn upon them.

Rom 3:4 ASV - God forbid: yea, let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, And mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment.

So we must see here that God created you to be Holy to be a Saint to  manifest all the attributes of Christ .  And created man in his own image , the image of hoilness and perfection . Jesus called it the way the truth and the life.
Jhn 6:63 ASV - It is the spirit that giveth life; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I have spoken unto you are spirit, and are life.
Rom 8:6 ASV - For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:
Rom 8:10 ASV - And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life because of righteousness.
The body of this flesh is a vehicle to get us from point A to point B ,  The body is a creation of God and it is a master piece wonderfully made . Why did God make us this way ? He is the potter and we are the clay.     Rom 9:20 ASV - Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why didst thou make me thus?
Rom 9:21 ASV - Or hath not the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?
Rom 9:22 ASV - What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering vessels of wrath fitted unto destruction:
Rom 9:23 ASV - and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he afore prepared unto glory,
Rom 9:24 ASV - even us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles?

The word says Adam was form in the image of God so for a moment let us look at the spiritual side of this word .  God created Adam to have all the power and strength. The ability to be a super human with Gods understanding . He was not a God he was a creation of God with all the attributes of God were in him.    Adam it says as the animals God created pass by he named all the animals . He was not born as a baby as we were to grow up unto God, he was created in the Image of God.  And every one born after Adam partook of his sin , he disobeyed Gods commands and lost his standing with God. Now I am seeing something much bigger in Gods plan here ,  but the beginning and the end are all planned by our great God.   1Cr 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
1Ti 2:13 ASV - For Adam was first formed, then Eve;  Adam brought the curse of sin by disobedience  to Gods command and every one born after Adam was under that same curse.  So we see here that the body of flesh was not the image of God , it is the soul of a man that is the image of God .   The word tells us to not judge our brothers or speak evil of them for they also are after the image of God created after the likeness of God.
Gen 1:26 ASV - And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 1:27 ASV - And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Gen 2:7 ASV - And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and Breathed Into His Nostrils The Breath Of Life; and man became a living soul.         The breath here is the Spirit and Life is the Zoe of God,    Gods spirit.

       Life      Greek: zoopoieo

Life, Living, Lifetime, Life-Giving:
"to make alive, cause to live, quicken" (from zoe, "life," and poieo, "to make"), is used as follows:

"(a) of God as the bestower of every kind of life in the universe, 1Ti 6:13 (zoogoneo, to preserve alive, is the alternative reading adopted by most editors; see LIVE, No. 6), and, particularly, of resurrection life, Jhn 5:21; Rom 4:17;

(b) of Christ, who also is the bestower of resurrection life, Jhn 5:21 (2nd part); 1Cr 15:45; cp. 1Cr 15:22;

(c) of the resurrection of Christ in "the body of His glory," 1Pe 3:18;

(d) of the power of reproduction inherent in seed, which presents a certain analogy with resurrection, 1Cr 15:36;

(e) of the 'changing,' or 'fashioning anew,' of the bodies of the living, which corresponds with, and takes place at the same time as, the resurrection of the dead in Christ, Rom 8:11;

(f) of the impartation of spiritual life, and the communication of spiritual sustenance generally, Jhn 6:63; 2Cr 3:6; Gal 3:21." *
2Cr 5:14 ASV - For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that one died for all, therefore all died;
2Cr 5:15 ASV - and he died for all, that they that live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto him who for their sakes died and rose again.
2Cr 5:16 ASV - Wherefore we henceforth know no man after the flesh: even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
2Cr 5:17 ASV - Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.
So in the end God will not judge our flesh , he will Judge our souls and our souls were made in the image of God.    Gods life was breathed into Adams nostrils.
1Cr 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.   This flesh of ours will die some day its appointed unto us ,     God is not come back for our flesh he is coming for the fruit of Christ in you and just as Jesus resurrected so to will those that believe in his name.

Mat 10:28 ASV - And be not afraid of them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

          Soul  Greek: psuche      Heart, Heartily:
the soul, or life, is rendered "heart" in Eph 6:6 (marg., "soul"), "doing the will of God from the heart." In Col 3:23, a form of the word psuche preceded by ek, from, lit., "from (the) soul," is rendered "heartily."

Hbr 2:14 ASV - Since then the children are sharers in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same; that through death he might bring to nought him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

 Rom 8:29    For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:
