Hbr 4:2 United By Faith With Them That Heard.
Hbr 13:9 ASV - Be not carried away by divers and strange teachings: for it is good that the heart be established by grace; not by meats, wherein they that occupied themselves were not profited.
Hbr 13:10 ASV - We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat that serve the tabernacle.
Hbr 13:11 ASV - For the bodies of those beasts whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned without the camp.
Hbr 13:12 ASV - Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered without the gate.
Hbr 13:13 ASV - Let us therefore go forth unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach
What Has Been Shall Be: A book to read for you wanting truth a book for these last days.

Altar Greek: thusiasterion
Altar: metaph., the cross on which Christ suffered an expiatory death: to eat of this altar i.e. to appropriate to one's self the fruits of Christ's expiatory death
"altar" for the sacrifice of victims .
Eat in Greek: esthio
Devour:
is a strengthened form of an old verb edo, from the root ed--, whence Lat., edo, Eng., "eat." The form ephagon, used as the 2nd Aorist Tense of this verb, is from the root phag--, "to eat up." It is translated "devour" in Hbr 10:27; elsewhere, by the verb "to eat."
Jhn 6:51 ASV - I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.
Jhn 6:55 ASV - For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
1Cr 11:24 ASV - and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, This is my body, which is for you: this do in remembrance of me. 1Cr 11:25 ASV - In like manner also the cup, after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood: this do, as often as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. God demands holiness , be ye holy as your father in heaven is holy. Your father is a jealous God he demands an honest heart from his children. The children in the wilderness refused the bread from heaven Manna , which we can see as a type of Christ Jesus . They rebelled against Moses and murmured against Gods word to them. We want flesh to eat, give us flesh Num 11:18 ASV - And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to-morrow, and ye shall eat flesh; for ye have wept in the ears of Jehovah, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore Jehovah will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.
Num 11:19 ASV - Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days,
Num 11:20 ASV - but a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you; because that ye have rejected Jehovah who is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt? God was wroth they were rejecting his word the true manna , The Lord said you want flesh ! I will give you flesh until it runs out your nose . We have to see the spirit of Gods word here it is speaking to his church Today, for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
I want to bring again the wonderful truth of the passover of this people while they were still in Egypt. And Egypt in our day is the world and its bondage to Gods people. Remember the passover Lamb God said you must eat the whole Lamb Exd 12:5 ASV - Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old: ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:
Exd 12:6 ASV - and ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at even.
Exd 12:7 ASV - And they shall take of the blood, and put it on the two side-posts and on the lintel, upon the houses wherein they shall eat it.
Exd 12:8 ASV - And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Exd 12:9 ASV - Eat not of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire; its head with its legs and with the inwards thereof.
Exd 12:10 ASV - And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
God is telling his people today you must eat the whole Lamb , The word EAT in the Greek is to consume . The whole word of God to eat of his flesh and to drink of his blood . The church today is so crippled and disjointed spiritually sick in there understanding of the spirit of Gods word to them .I see that not many have been filled with the Spirit not many have experienced the fullness of the book of Acts the promise of power from on high , cant you see Jesus died for this promise . He said to his disciples I must go away or you will not receive the promise of the Holy Spirit . Its time to stand up and shake off the false doctrines of the church of old . God is still pouring out his spirit as we speak today it is the only way for you to see the kingdom and experience the spirit of Gods word.
1Cr 2:14 ASV - Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged. Let me ask you are you seeing the signs and wonders Jesus spoke of in Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.
Mar 16:17 ASV - And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18 ASV - they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mat 24:14 ASV - And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come. And the word nations being people of the world , and then shall the end come. And this Gospel shall be preached , these signs shall follow those who believe , now the key word here is BELIEVE . The sin of the world is they do not believe Jesus and his gospel ,Jesus said that the father anointed him to preach the gospel the good news Isa 61:1 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,
In that day when every man shall stand before the seat of Christ and be judged.
2Cr 5:10 ASV - For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
I want to go back to the verses about the eating of flesh, the children wanted flesh to eat , this is a type and shadow of people today they want God and their flesh keep in mind the word Rev 3:16 ASV - So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
God gave them the wholesome word , the manna from heaven , they tired very quickly of the word that cuts the flesh the word that puts to death the carnal nature. The word Altar is appropriate to our living holy, Jesus called it your cross. The cross is an instrument of suffering it kills your flesh. This word if you obey it will deliver your soul . Its not the flesh that will rise at the last trump . 1Cr 15:52 ASV - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Th 4:16 ASV - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first;
It is Christ in you the hope of glory , the seed of Gods word will produce great fruit. Flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom of God .
Phl 3:21 ASV - who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, that it may be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things unto himself. Do you see what this is saying to you that believe, the very body Jesus was resurrected with that glorified body that walked through the walls to where his disciples were . Luk 24:38 ASV - And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and wherefore do questionings arise in your heart?
Luk 24:39 ASV - See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye behold me having.
Luk 24:40 ASV - And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
Now once again Phl 3:21 who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, that it may be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things unto himself. The body of his glory is that he conquered death and he will die no more and the last enemy for us is Death the second death.
1Cr 15:54 ASV - But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Cr 15:55 ASV - O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?
Jhn 6:63 ASV - It is the spirit that giveth life; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I have spoken unto you are spirit, and are life. Adam and Eve chose the forbidden fruit 1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. Jesus is that tree of life if you eat of that tree you shall live for ever
1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. The only way we shall see Jesus in the end is to be like him to take on his very nature, to drink his blood and the life is in the blood. The fruit of the spirit is the nature of Jesus that is who he is. You must be born again Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Jesus is the second Adam and in him we receive our adoption, Rom 8:15 ASV - For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:23 ASV - And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for our adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, that it may be conformed to the body of his glory. God has a wonderful plan for his children
1Cr 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
2Cr 3:18 ASV - But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.
Act 2:1 ASV - And when the day of Pentecost was now come, they were all together in one place.
Act 2:2 ASV - And suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 ASV - And there appeared unto them tongues parting asunder, like as of fire; and it sat upon each one of them.
Act 2:4 ASV - And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Peter tried to stop Jesus from going to his cross, he said get behind me satan
Mat 16:23 ASV - But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art a stumbling-block unto me: for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men.
Rom 8:5 ASV - For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Hbr 13:13 ASV - Let us therefore go forth unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
Hbr 3:8 ASV - Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, Like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
Hbr 3:9 ASV - Where your fathers tried me by proving me, And saw my works forty years.
Hbr 3:10 ASV - Wherefore I was displeased with this generation, And said, They do always err in their heart: But they did not know my ways;
Hbr 3:11 ASV - As I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.
Hbr 3:12 ASV - Take heed, brethren, lest haply there shall be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God:
Hbr 3:15 ASV - while it is said, To-day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
Hbr 3:16 ASV - For who, when they heard, did provoke? nay, did not all they that came out of Egypt by Moses?
Hbr 3:17 ASV - And with whom was he displeased forty years? was it not with them that sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
Hbr 3:18 ASV - And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that were disobedient?
Hbr 3:19 ASV - And we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
He is Lord of the sabbath and he is our passover Jesus Christ !

He Who Has Suffered In The Flesh Has Ceased From Sin
1Pe 4:1 NASB - Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, ASV Forasmuch then as Christ suffered in the flesh, arm ye yourselves also with the same mind; for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
1Pe 4:6 NASB - For the gospel has for this purpose been preached even to those who are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as men, they may live in the spirit according to the will of God. The word Gospel Greek: euangelion The good news, of the basic facts of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, e.g., 1Cr 15:1-3;
Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised, Everything in this verse is spiritual it must be seen by the spirit of God . Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
It says poor in SPIRIT , Until Jesus came there was the Law and he came to deliver mankind from the curse of that law, Rom 8:2 ASV - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. Friends this is Good news indeed ,we do not have to sin any longer sin has no Hold on you that are in Christ Jesus. Now to you who are under the blood and your confession is Christ the Lord, any willful sin in your live now is deliberate . People that have not the revelation to this needs to be set free, They believe another gospel. We are save by grace a Gift of Faith and grace in the Greek is benefits . Gods promises are for the obedient Not the disobedient . Rom 9:30 ASV - What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who followed not after righteousness, attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith:
Rom 9:31 ASV - but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, did not arrive at that law.
Rom 9:32 ASV - Wherefore? Because they sought it not by FAITH, but as it were by works. They stumbled at the stone of stumbling;
Hbr 4:2 ASV - For indeed we have had good tidings preached unto us, even as also they: but the word of hearing did not profit them, because it was not united by faith with them that hear
When James is speaking of his works by faith he is not saying to feed the poor and cloth the destitute . What people to day call a ministry in itself. That comes through obedience to Gods word you give because you love the Lord. But this faith he is speaking of faith to put this carnal man to death to walk in righteousness and be separated unto God .This faith is believing God for all things. Rom12 :1-2 Its not doing the works for God it is LIVING the very works of Christ in your daily walk . Not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to his Mercy he has Saved us. It says above the children had good tidings preached to them just as we have. Assimilate = They did not take in the word to digest and transform it into living and active the whole word of God. Col 2:6 ASV - As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, Jhn 5:38 ASV - And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he sent, him ye believe not. Jesus said he saw no fruit in thoses that believed not because the word was not abiding in them. Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Transformed in the Greek: metamorphoo
Transfigure:
of believers, Rom 12:2, "be ye transformed," the obligation being to undergo a complete change which, under the power of God, will find expression in character and conduct; morphe lays stress on the inward change, schema (see the preceding verb in that verse, suschematizo) lays stress on the outward (see FASHION, No. 3, FORM, No. 2); the present continuous tenses indicate a process; 2Cr 3:18 describes believers as being "transformed (RV) into the same image" (i.e., of Christ in all His moral excellencies), the change being effected by the Holy Spirit. metamorphosis from a worm like Job to a beautiful Butterfly , a heavenly body.
Hbr 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart. This word is living and active it is the breath or Zoe of God .
Rom 3:3 ASV - For what if some were without faith? shall their want of faith make of none effect the faithfulness of God?
Rom 3:4 ASV - God forbid: yea, let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, And mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment.
Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:
We know that the spirit of God is his promise of power to over come in this world. But it says also with Fire in the Greek: pur of the holiness of God, which consumes all that is inconsistent therewith, Hbr 10:27; 12:29; cp. Rev 1:14; 2:18; 10:1; 15:2; 19:12; similarly of the holy angels as His ministers, Hbr 1:7; in Rev 3:18 it is symbolic of that which tries the faith of saints, producing what will glorify the Lord;
1Pe 4:1 ASV - Forasmuch then as Christ suffered in the flesh, arm ye yourselves also with the same mind; for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
1Pe 4:2 ASV - that ye no longer should live the rest of your time in flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
For he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin. This is a very important truth to see
This is parallel to Roms 12:1-2 Rom 12:1 ASV - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The spiritual side of this truth is when the priest sacrificed the animals they would then burn the bodies out side the camp . And also in the sacrifice they would burn portions of the flesh for the sacrifice being made. The father loved the smell of burning flesh , now it is a type and shadow of the fulfilling of Gods kingdom , remember the Lord sees the beginning from the end. Jesus said that Moses and the prophets wrote of me . And Jesus fulfilled the Old law with his coming he is the fulfilling of the Law. Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live. This is the power to overcome our flesh,
the power of the Holy Ghost living in us abiding in us , but if BY THE SPIRIT ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Do you see what it says we war with our flesh by the spirit of God in us. Jesus said you must be born again , Jhn 3:3 ASV - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Jhn 3:4 ASV - Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!
Jhn 3:6 ASV - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Born of the water ? and the water is the word of God washing our souls daily renewing our hearts and bring us into the image of Christ, and the spirit we are born again with is the power of God abiding with us and in us. Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.
Exd 29:18 ASV - And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt-offering unto Jehovah; it is a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.
Exd 29:25 ASV - And thou shalt take them from their hands, and burn them on the altar upon the burnt-offering, for a sweet savor before Jehovah: it is an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.
There is an altar for us an altar to burn away this carnal man the nature of our flesh . The cross is our altar , For he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin . When you began to see the separation of yourself from the world , the desires of the flesh have no hold on you any longer
Putting to death this nature of sin and death. Seeing we have a city not made with hands, Jesus said my kingdom is not of this earth . Rev 21:1 ASV - And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more.
Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Rom 8:2 ASV - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
Rom 8:3 ASV - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 8:4 ASV - that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
When trials and suffering comes our way we must see that it is a work of the fire that comes with the promise. Mat 3:11 ASV - I indeed baptize you in water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in FIRE: The fire here is a purger of our souls it cleanses us of all defilement , Godly sorrow works unto repenteance, Jam 1:2 ASV - Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations;
Jam 1:3 ASV - Knowing that the proving of your faith worketh patience.
Jam 1:4 ASV - And let patience have its perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.
Jam 1:5 ASV - But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
We my friend are coming to the end of this age we are the last generation Mat 1:17 ASV - So all the generations from Abraham unto David are fourteen generations; and from David unto the carrying away to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the carrying away to Babylon unto the Christ fourteen generations. Fourteen in the bible numeric's is Deliverance and Salvation .
A daily prayer
My body is a temple for the Holy Spirit.
Redeemed, cleansed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus
My members, the parts of my body are instruments of righteousness
yielded to God for His service and for His Glory
The devil has no place in me
No power over me
No unsettled claims against me
All has been settled by the blood of Jesus
I overcome satan by the blood of the Lamb and by the word
of my testimony.
And I love not my life unto the death
My body is for the Lord
And the Lord is for my body Amen.
1Cr 15:56 ASV - The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law:
1Pe 4:7 NASB - The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.
1Pe 4:8 NASB - Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.
1Pe 4:10 NASB - As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
I believe it is important for me to add these verses , the word of God is true, absolute truth. And I am a man born of the flesh with all the frailties of the flesh, I am in this walk just as you and I want to say it is a daily walk and with out Gods grace I would not have this hope or Joy to write and share . I have not arrived by no means, and in great need of his fellowship and love as many others , it is his body that will see him, his church his elect. I am reminded of a verse Eph 3:10 ASV - to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God, Manifold Wisdom , Eph 4:8 ASV - Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men.
Eph 4:11 ASV - And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; This is Gods plan for the church today, ministry of the gifts through the body of believers not one man but the whole body of believers . And if we obey this word it will in the end perfect us into the image of Christ . Every one in the family of God has a place in this ministry and work.
Eph 4:12 ASV - for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 ASV - till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a fullgrown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: Measure in the Greek: metron
of "a vessel," figuratively, Mat 23:32; Luk 6:38 (twice); in Jhn 3:34, with the preposition ek, "(He giveth not the Spirit) by measure," RV (which is a necessary correction; the italicized words "unto him," AV, detract from the meaning). Not only had Christ the Holy Spirit without "measure," but God so gives the Spirit through Him to others. It is the ascended Christ who gives the Spirit to those who receive His testimony and set their seal to this, that God is true. The Holy Spirit is imparted neither by degrees, nor in portions, as if He were merely an influence, He is bestowed personally upon each believer, at the time of the New Birth , the standard of spiritual stature being the fullness which is essentially Christ's; Eph 4:16, "(according to the working in due) measure (of each several part)," i.e., according to the effectual working of the ministration rendered in due "measure" by every part.
Eph 3:11 ASV - according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
1Cr 15:49 KJV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Jo 1:7 ASV - but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1Jo 1:8 ASV - If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jo 1:9 ASV - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jo 1:10 ASV - If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Jhn 18:38 What Is Truth
Jhn 6:32 ASV - Jesus therefore said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, It was not Moses that gave you the bread out of heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread out of heaven.
Jhn 6:33 ASV - For the bread of God is that which cometh down out of heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
Jhn 6:34 ASV - They said therefore unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
Jhn 6:35 ASV - Jesus said unto them. I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Jhn 6:36 ASV - But I said unto you, that ye have seen me, and yet believe not.
Jhn 6:37 ASV - All that which the Father giveth me shall come unto me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Jhn 6:38 ASV - For I am come down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Jhn 6:39 ASV - And this is the will of him that sent me, that of all that which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.
Jhn 6:40 ASV - For this is the will of my Father, that every one that beholdeth the Son, and believeth on him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Col 3:3 ASV - For ye died, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Col 3:4 ASV - When Christ, who is our life, shall be manifested, then shall ye also with him be manifested in glory.
Col 3:5 ASV - Put to death therefore your members which are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry;
Col 3:6 ASV - for which things' sake cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience:
Col 3:10 ASV - and have put on the new man, that is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Jhn 2:20 ASV - The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days? The revelation here is that man continues to build these same structures Look at all the work that man has done the arm of his flesh man has built this house . God said do you think you can build a house for me . Gods throne is in the heavens and he dwells in the hearts of men . Seeing the law was weak Rom 8:3 ASV - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: Look at all the fine cathedrals of this generation , what man calls the mega churchs, build them bigger and you will get more people or should I say more tithes.
Romans 8 says it all , the key word is Likeness of, he was pure in every way, no guile in him he was clear as chrystal no shadow in his turning, and the light shone out of him because he was the light .
Luk 13:35 ASV - Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Jesus said the only sign you will have will be the sign of Jonah . It was not the house its self, it is what was in the House . And this word in Greek refers to a family as the house. Do you see where Jesus said your house is desolate.
Desolate in the Greek: aphiemi Alone (Let Alone):
signifies "to send away, set free;" also "to let alone," Mat 15:14; Mar 14:6; Luk 13:8; Jhn 11:48
to depart from one and leave him to himself so that all mutual claims are abandoned
of a husband divorcing his wife. It also speaks of sins being forgiven or remitted please understand I am speaking of all people here. The blood applied with a repentant heart will bring salvation to all men. Jesus said he was the fulfilling of the Law Gods mercy was released to man kind through his son . And the verse above says Ye shall not see me, until ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Rom 10:10 ASV - for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Great revelation is coming out of this chapter we must see it and obey.
Jhn 2:6 ASV - Now there were six waterpots of stone set there after the Jews' manner of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece. The number Six is the number of man , you and I and the water pots are made of stone or clay, Just as Adam of the dust of the earth. It says water pots, so they were made to hold water very important to see this, that water the word of God is referred to as a cleansing of the heart a separation of flesh and spirit . Eph 5:25 ASV - Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;
Eph 5:26 ASV - that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
Eph 5:27 ASV - that he might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So we see here that we are the pots of earth and Jesus fills us with his word, (And they filled them up to the brim) and it becomes his blood or wine a type and shadow of salvation. A sign all through this second chapter it is the sign of Jonah. From water to wine , to the sign of his death ,burial and resurrection he said in three days he would rebuild the house of God. And the house of God is in the hearts of men not in stone building. He said he will give them a heart of flesh Eze 11:19 ASV - And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh; So now we see here that the house of God is his people his chosen , the elect . That is why Jesus stressed that the foundation of God be built on stone or rock , and he is that stone the builders rejected . Jhn 18:37 ASV - Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end have I been born, and to this end am I come into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
Jhn 18:38 ASV - Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find no crime in him.
He is our passover we must eat the whole Lamb , The death angel came for the first born in Egypt, the first born of all Gods CREATION . This is significant to the fact Adam was the first born or creation of man kind and he fell through sin. The Lamb of God is the one who takes away the sin of the WORLD. THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA
1Jo 4:1 ASV - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1Jo 4:2 ASV - Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: Hear is the abiding the confession of your faith the signs that follow, you , Jesus said in three days he would establish Gods kingdom forever. In three days he resurrected to newness of life and he lives now in the hearts of men he has come in the flesh again your flesh, and the promises are hinged on this truth. It says he gave gifts unto men. Every one that denys this truth, the signs and the gifts that has come through Christ they are not of God.
1Jo 4:3 ASV - and every spirit that confesseth not Jesus is not of God: and this is the spirit of the antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it cometh; and now it is in the world already. Remember it is in his NAME we have the power and authority all that he is is given to us.
Eph 1:3 ASV - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ: Every spiritual blessing is our by Faith and remember the word ALL Being Nothing Left Out.
Jhn 2:13 ASV - And the passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Jhn 2:14 ASV - And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
Jhn 2:15 ASV - and he made a scourge of cords, and cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables;
Jhn 2:16 ASV - and to them that sold the doves he said, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
Jhn 2:21 ASV - But he spake of the temple of his body.
Jhn 2:22 ASV - When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he spake this; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
Jhn 2:23 ASV - Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, during the feast, many believed on his name, beholding his signs which he did.
Jhn 2:24 ASV - But Jesus did not trust himself unto them, for that he knew all men,
Jhn 2:25 ASV - and because he needed not that any one should bear witness concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
Hag 2:21 ASV - Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;
Hag 2:22 ASV - and I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms; and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
Hag 2:23 ASV - In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith Jehovah, and will make thee as a signet; for I have chosen thee, saith Jehovah of hosts.
Col 3:16 ASV - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God.
Rev 6:8 ASV - And I saw, and behold, a pale horse: and he that sat upon him, his name was Death; and Hades followed with him. And there was given unto them authority over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
The wild beast here in the Greek: therion The fathers peace is over the earth right now , but he says one day he will remove his peace from the earth. To you that believe we have Psalms 91 he has promised to be that strong tower to run into.
Beast:
to be distinguished from zoon, almost invariably denotes "a wild beast." In Act 28:4, "venomous beast" is used of the viper which fastened on Paul's hand. Zoon stresses the vital element, therion the bestial. The idea of a "beast" of prey is not always present. Once, in Hbr 12:20, it is used of the animals in the camp of Israel, such, e.g., as were appointed for sacrifice: But in the Sept. therion is never used of sacrificial animals; the word ktenos (see below) is reserved for these.
Therion, in the sense of "wild beast", is used in the Apocalypse for the two Antichristian potentates who are destined to control the affairs of the nations with Satanic power in the closing period of the present era, Rev 11:7; 13:1-18; 14:9, 11; 15:2; 16:2, 10, 13; 17:3-17; 19:19, 20; 20:4, 10.
There is no fear of God on the earth today as in the days of Noah , and they knew not until the flood came
Mat 24:39 ASV - and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.
2Pe 3:4 KJV - And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
2Pe 3:5 KJV - For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2Pe 3:6 KJV - Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
2Pe 3:7 KJV - But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2Pe 3:8 KJV - But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Zec 4:10 ASV - For who hath despised the day of small things? for these seven shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel; these are the eyes of Jehovah, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
Mat 1:12 ASV - And after the carrying away to Babylon, Jechoniah begat Shealtiel; and Shealtiel begat Zerubbabel; Zerubbabel Greek = "born at Babel, i.e. Babylon"
Zerubbabel in the Hebrew Zerubbabel = "sown in Babylon" A type and shadow of man today born of the first Adam unto sin , Ransomed out of Babylon by the second Adam
Mat 1:17 ASV - So all the generations from Abraham unto David are fourteen generations; and from David unto the carrying away to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the carrying away to Babylon unto the Christ fourteen generations.
Mat 12:41 ASV - The men of Nineveh shall stand up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, a greater than Jonah is here.
Mat 23:36 ASV - Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
Mat 24:34 ASV - Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished.
We my friend are the LAST generation upon the earth. The number fourteen = Deliverance and Salvation

Jhn 14:26 In My Name
2Jo 1:7 ASV - For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, even they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
2Jo 1:8 ASV - Look to yourselves, that ye lose not the things which we have wrought, but that ye receive a full reward.
2Jo 1:9 ASV - Whosoever goeth onward and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not God: he that abideth in the teaching, the same hath both the Father and the Son.
2Jo 1:10 ASV - If any one cometh unto you, and bringeth not this teaching, receive him not into your house, and give him no greeting
Whosoever goeth onward and abideth not in the teaching of Christ , is this a telling of the church today. Where has the church gone from the book of Acts and the writing of the apostles to today.
Jesus said these signs will follow those who BELIEVE. Jesus said oh ye of little faith , with out faith it will be impossible to please the father
Hbr 13:12 ASV - Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered without the gate.
Hbr 13:13 ASV - Let us therefore go forth unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
Hbr 13:14 ASV - For we have not here an abiding city, but we seek after the city which is to come.
Hbr 13:15 ASV - Through him then let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which make confession to his name.
Rev 22:14 ASV - Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
Tree in the Greek: xulon
of "the cross," the tree being the stauros, the upright pale or stake to which Romans nailed those who were thus to be executed, Act 5:30; 10:39; 13:29; Gal 3:13; 1Pe 2:24;
(c) of "the tree of life," Rev 2:7; 22:2
Of Life in the Greek: zoe
Life, Living, Lifetime, Life-Giving:
(Eng., "zoo," "zoology") is used in the NT "of life as a principle, life in the absolute sense, life as God has it, that which the Father has in Himself, and which He gave to the Incarnate Son to have in Himself, Jhn 5:26, and which the Son manifested in the world, 1Jo 1:2. From this life man has become alienated in consequence of the Fall, Eph 4:18, and of this life men become partakers through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Jhn 3:15, who becomes its Author to all such as trust in Him, Act 3:15, and who is therefore said to be 'the life' of the believer, Col 3:4, for the life that He gives He maintains, Jhn 6:35, 63. Eternal life is the present actual possession of the believer because of his relationship with Christ, Jhn 5:24; 1Jo 3:14, and that it will one day extend its domain to the sphere of the body is assured by the Resurrection of Christ, 2Cr 5:4; 2Ti 1:10. This life is not merely a principle of power and mobility, however, for it has moral associations which are inseparable from it, as of holiness and righteousness. Death and sin, life and holiness, are frequently contrasted in the Scriptures.
To be reconciled to something or some one, you must first have had a relationship in the past. Now we must see this in the spirit of Gods word and not the letter. Adam and Eve was perfect in the image of God . Not the body of flesh I mean in the spirit, God had no body so man was created in Gods image we must not see a body. That is why Jesus said he came in his fathers NAME. Created in the power, nature and authority of God
Jhn 5:42 ASV - But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in yourselves.
Jhn 5:43 ASV - I am come in my Father's NAME, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
Jhn 5:44 ASV - How can ye believe, who receive glory one of another, and the glory that cometh from the only God ye seek not?
The word NAME Greek: onoma for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers:
(a) of the "Name" of God as expressing His attributes, etc., e.g., Mat 6:9; Luk 1:49; Jhn 12:28; 17:6, 26; Rom 15:9; 1Ti 6:1; Hbr 13:15; Rev 13:6;
It says above the life was the ZOE of God , now it says that when God breathed into the nostrils of Adam he became a living soul . The breath of life is from God to you, his creation was made alive by his breath of life his Zoe. That is why demons fall and shudder at the NAME of Jesus , The fullness of God was in him the power and all authority was in him. And that is what God is doing to mankind today just as in the beginning . He is recreating his plan of redemption , Jesus being the second Adam and conquering and taking the keys of hell and death. We are being transformed into his Image, Jesus said that you bear much fruit ! Jhn 15:8 ASV - Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and so shall ye be my disciples.
Jhn 1:11 ASV - He came unto his own, and they that were his own received him not.
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name: Do all things in the name of Jesus , Jesus said in my name YOU shall cast out devils lay hands on the sick and they SHALL recover. its not saying the name it is having the understanding of what that names means to you . Jesus said all power, and authority has been given unto me. Remember in Acts 19:13-16 the sons of Sceva they did not have the power of the name of Jesus living in them they were not believers
Act 19:15 ASV - And the evil spirit answered and said unto them, Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are ye?
The devils know who are children of God and what power and authority they have, Jesus said behold Luk 10:19 ASV - Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you. The word all being nothing left out !
Mat 24:30 ASV - and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. The power and authority coming with Christ is his church and they shall see his saints. Rev 1:7 ASV - Behold, he cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen.
Rev 17:14 ASV - These shall war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they also shall overcome that are with him, called and chosen and faithful.
Eph 1:19 ASV - and what the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might
Eph 1:20 ASV - which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,
Eph 1:21 ASV - far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
Eph 1:22 ASV - and he put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church,
Eph 1:23 ASV - which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Being born of a new spirit , born again. Not of your natural fathers blood nor of the will of his flesh not from mans will. But born of God be reconciled back to the father. We all need the book of Acts 2:1 experience on the day of Pentecost , a rushing mighty wind Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him. This is what Jesus died for that you may receive the promise of the father it says even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him. This is for all man kind it is still a promise and it is for you today. If the Lord is still calling people to his kingdom than you must be filled with his spirit just as Acts 2 chapter says.
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.
Jesus told the scribes the only sign you will see is the sign of Johna
Mat 12:39 ASV - But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given it but the sign of Jonah the prophet:
Mat 24:3 ASV - And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Mat 24:30 ASV - and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Jesus said destroy this body I will rebuild it in three days , Jonah in the whale for three days Death ,burial and resurrection . And when Jesus resurrected he restored life to Gods church , he rebuilt the church of God in his body. Jesus told Nicodemus you MUST be born again Jhn 3:7 ASV - Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born anew.
Jhn 3:8 ASV - The wind bloweth where it will, and thou hearest the voice thereof, but knowest not whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Jhn 3:13 ASV - And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, even the Son of man, who is in heaven. Seeing with the spirit here we must see that the only one who is going to heaven in the end will be those that have put on the Lord Jesus Christ , Jhn 6:53 ASV - Jesus therefore said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye have not life in yourselves. And he was the word made flesh its his word we feed upon and live by his word
Jhn 6:54 ASV - He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal life: and I will raise him up at the last day. To drink his blood is to take on his very nature for the life is in the blood , the fruit of the spirit is the nature of Jesus.
Jhn 6:55 ASV - For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Jhn 6:56 ASV - He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood abideth in me, and I in him.
Amo 3:3 ASV - Shall two walk together, except they have agreed? Agree with his word
Jhn 6:57 ASV - As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he that eateth me, he also shall live because of me. Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. The first Adam failed the second Adam conquered hell and death and we are transformed by the renewing of our mind, the word of God will renew our minds and so he that eateth me, he also shall live because of me. The carnal man must die and the new man of our spirit must be fed the pure word of the gospel. And we will renew our mind , and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. 1Cr 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. The father is coming again for sons of God the fruit of Jesus in us. 1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. The word manifest and manifested Greek: phaneroo
Appear, Appearing:
akin to No. 1, signifies, in the Active Voice, "to manifest;" in the Passive Voice, "to be manifested;" so, regularly, in the RV, instead of "to appear." See 2Cr 7:12; Col 3:4; Hbr 9:26; 1Pe 5:4; 1Jo 2:28; 3:2; Rev 3:18. To be manifested, in the Scriptural sense of the word, is more than to "appear." A person may "appear" in a false guise or without a disclosure of what he truly is; to be manifested is to be revealed in one's true character; this is especially the meaning of phaneroo, see, e.g., Jhn 3:21; 1Cr 4:5; 2Cr 5:10, 11; Eph 5:13.
Mat 6:22 ASV - The lamp of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. Looking in the mirrior and only seeing Jesus. Having eyes to see
Jhn 3:21 ASV - But he that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his works may be made manifest, that they have been wrought in God.
Mat 6:21 ASV - for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.
Mat 6:23 ASV - But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is the darkness!
It is Christ in you the hope of glory!!
Mat 24:13 ASV - But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.
Col 2:8 ASV - Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:
Col 2:9 ASV - for in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily,
Col 2:10 ASV - and in him ye are made full, who is the head of All Principality And Power:

Narrow Is The Way
I am writing today about the freedoms of Christ that come through obedience , Jesus said if you love me you will obey my commandants.
Mat 7:12 KJV - Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Mat 7:13 KJV - Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14 KJV - Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. The many and the FEW , just because the world believes something does not make it true what does the word of God say.
NARROW Greek: thlibo
Afflict (-ed), Affliction:
"to suffer affliction, to be troubled," has reference to sufferings due to the pressure of circumstances, or the antagonism of persons, 1Th 3:4; 2Th 1:6, 7; "straitened," in Mat 7:14 (RV); "throng," Mar 3:9; "afflicted," 2Cr 1:6; 7:5 (RV); 1Ti 5:10; Hbr 11:37; "pressed," 2Cr 4:8. Both the verb and the noun (see B, No. 4), when used of the present experience of believers, refer almost invariably to that which comes upon them from without.
Striat Greek: stenos
Narrow:
from a root sten--, seen in stenazo, "to groan," stenagmos, "groaning" (Eng., "stenography," lit., "narrow writing"), is used figuratively in Mat 7:13, 14, of the gate which provides the entrance to eternal life, "narrow" because it runs counter to natural inclinations, and "the way" is similarly characterized; so in Luk 13:24 (where the more intensive word agonizomai, "strive," is used); RV, "narrow" (AV, "strait") in each place. Cp. stenochoreo, "to be straitened," and stenochoria, "narrowness, anguish, distress."
GATE
(b) metaphorically, of the "gates" at the entrances of the ways leading to life and to destruction, Mat 7:13, 14; some mss. have pule, for thura, "a door," in Luk 13:24 (see the RV); of the "gates" of Hades, Mat 16:18, than which nothing was regarded as stronger. The importance and strength of "gates" made them viewed as synonymous with power. By metonymy, the "gates" stood for those who held government and administered justice there.
Jam 2:14 ASV - What doth it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but have not works? can that faith save him?
Mat 5:23 ASV - If therefore thou art offering thy gift at the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath aught against thee,
Mat 5:24 ASV - leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way, first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Mat 23:18 ASV - And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gift that is upon it, he is a debtor.
Altar in Greek
Greek: thusiasterion
Altar:
probably the neuter of the adjective thusiasterios, is derived from thusiazo, "to sacrifice." Accordingly it denotes an "altar" for the sacrifice of victims, though it was also used for the "altar" of incense, e.g., Luk 1:11. In the NT this word is reserved for the "altar" of the true God, Mat 5:23, 24; 23:18-20, 35; Luk 11:51; 1Cr 9:13; 10:18, in contrast to bomos, No. 2, below. In the Sept. thusiasterion is mostly, but not entirely, used for the divienely appointed altar; it is used for idol "altars," e.g., in Jdg 2:2; 6:25; 2Ki 16:10.
metaph., the cross on which Christ suffered an expiatory death: to eat of this altar i.e. to appropriate to one's self the fruits of Christ's expiatory death .
Mat 15:8 ASV - This people honoreth me with their lips; But their heart is far from me.
The signs of the times spoken in Matt 24 is upon the earth today. God is saying now is the time to search your souls for truth, and see how you are living in this earth today. 2Cr 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Greek: metanoia
Repent, Repentance: In the NT the subject chiefly has reference to "repentance" from sin, and this change of mind involves both a turning from sin and a turning to God. The parable of the Prodigal Son is an outstanding illustration of this. Christ began His ministry with a call to "repentance," Mat 4:17, but the call is addressed, not as in the OT to the nation, but to the individual. In the Gospel of John, as distinct from the Synoptic Gospels, referred to above, "repentance" is not mentioned, even in connection with John the Baptist's preaching; in John's Gospel and 1st Epistle the effects are stressed, e.g., in the new birth, and, generally, in the active turning from sin to God by the exercise of faith (Jhn 3:3; 9:38; 1Jo 1:9), as in the NT in general.
John had to come before Jesus could come , bring the mountains low and filling every valley. Mat 11:11 ASV - Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not arisen a greater than John the Baptist: yet he that is but little in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. With out repentance no man will see God and John brought repentance to the world, before John was sent man was doomed to die in their sins. And the law could not save mankind, for mans flesh is weak. And every one that adheres to the word of reconciliation and repents is greater than John.
Seeing this word in the spirit and not the Letter.
Hbr 12:14 KJV - Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Hbr 12:15 KJV - Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Easu was bitter and not able to forgive Jacob. This is where repentance works in us. Its not about you being done wrong or some one speaking evil of you or falsely accusing you .Or some one taking your inheritance away. For give us of our debts as we forgive our debtors, people who do not fall at the feet of Jesus and seek true repentance will lose their life because they will not submit to Gods word. Easu did not need his inheritance until it was gone .
Hbr 12:16 KJV - Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. 1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jo 2:17 ASV - And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1Jo 2:18 ASV - Little children, it is the last hour: and as ye heard that antichrist cometh, even now have there arisen many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last hour.
2Jo 1:8 ASV - Look to yourselves, that ye lose not the things which we have wrought, but that ye receive a full reward. So we see here that the only guarantee in this life of being brought into the kingdom of God is through obedience to Gods word.
2Jo 1:9 ASV - Whosoever goeth onward and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not God: he that abideth in the teaching, the same hath both the Father and the Son.
It says Goeth onward and abideth not in the teachings or the gospel of God. Any other teaching is not the doctrine of the apostles therefore it is a false doctrine.
1Cr 15:24 ASV - Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power. The kingdom will already be established before we meet him in the air. The only way to have a kingdom is to have a king. And Jesus told Pilate , my kingdom is not of this earth . So who is king of this earth right now the word also calls him the prince of the earth. Satan told Jesus the earth has been given to me Luk 4:6 ASV - And the devil said unto him, To thee will I give all this authority, and the glory of them: for it hath been delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. There has to be a separation now in this life you live, it will not come any other way. Jhn 14:4 ASV - And whither I go, ye know the way.
Jhn 14:6 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.
1Cr 15:47 ASV - The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.
1Cr 15:48 ASV - As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Cr 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Cr 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Cr 15:53 ASV - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Cr 15:54 ASV - But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. Jesus died in his flesh on his cross as an example, so that we might die to our-self's our carnal nature this old man of sin on this earth. Hbr 12:14 ASV - Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord: Jesus said be ye holy as your father in heaven is holy. This is where Jesus spoke of a house being built on sand and when tribulation comes , it has no foundation and it fell and great was the fall of it. Jesus said a house divided against itself can not stand . You can not serve two masters. There will be no half white half black Christians in Gods kingdom Jhn 12:48 ASV - He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my sayings, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I spake, the same shall judge him in the last day. The truth is settled already, this word will judge us in the end. 2Cr 5:10 ASV - For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad.Rom 6:1 ASV - What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection . Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Rom 6:12 ASV - Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey the lusts thereof:
Rom 6:13 ASV - neither present your members unto sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves unto God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Rom 6:23 ASV - For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Rom 8:2 ASV - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
Hard times like no other are coming upon the earth man kind is seeing this and asking questions . Tribulation is coming to Gods people because of his mercy and his love for his church. Only than will a man realize his weakness and inability to save himself. Jesus said Mat 24:6 ASV - And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled: for these things must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 ASV - For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines and earthquakes in divers places.
Mat 24:8 ASV - But all these things are the beginning of travail.
Mat 24:9 ASV - Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name's sake.
Mat 24:13 ASV - But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.
Mat 24:14 ASV - And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.
This word is to every believer and to all that look for his coming .
Rom 12:1 ASV - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The word of God will renew your mind and bring you into his kingdom , 1Cr 2:16 ASV - For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
We are being transformed daily into the mind of Christ , having the character and the very nature the authority of God in us. Rom 8:6 ASV - For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:
Rom 8:7 ASV - because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be:
Rom 8:8 ASV - and they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom 8:9 ASV - But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. But if any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
You are not a sinner saved by grace. we were delivered from the Law of sin and death we do not have to sin any longer . It says we were save by Gods grace and it is a gift of FAITH.
Hbr 4:2 ASV - For indeed we have had good tidings preached unto us, even as also they: but the word of hearing did not profit them, because it was not united by faith with them that heard.
You must mix this word of God with faith , for with out faith it is impossible to please God
Hbr 11:6 ASV - And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

Prevailing With A Sling And Stone
1Sa 17:50 ASV - So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
1Sa 17:51 ASV - Then David ran, and stood over the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled.
The word sling in this verse is Heb keh'·lah above we can see the spiritual or the type and shadow of this verse. Sling is a weapon of God the power and strength of God himself. David was a small boy and in his flesh represents no power. But he said I come to you in the name of the Lord. The whole nation of Israel even Saul was minding the things of their flesh . They saw in the letter of the word , by the arm of their flesh . And so it is in this day we live , David believed God and trusted that Gods word would save him . One man that day saved a whole nation because of his Faith. The word in Heb means Sling but also it says Veil or Sail of a ship. Now we know the veil Hbr 10:19 ASV - Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,
Hbr 10:20 ASV - by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And the sail is an instrument of motion , it harnesses the power to move a ship by the wind . And the wind is the Holy Spirit in you, Jhn 3:8 ASV - The wind bloweth where it will, and thou hearest the voice thereof, but knowest not whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Act 2:2 ASV - And suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Jesus said that Moses wrote of him and the prophets wrote of him. Know this the words they wrote were inspired by God they were moved by Gods spirit to write this word. So Paul says the letter of the word will kill you but the spirit brings life.
Rom 7:6 ASV - But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that wherein we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.
2Cr 3:6 ASV - who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
Jesus said many times those that have eyes to see and ears to hear. What is he saying here
Gal 2:20 ASV - I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
1Pe 4:2 ASV - that ye no longer should live the rest of your time in flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
Jesus said you must be born again , born of his spirit . And only with the spirit of God can we know the mind of the spirit. As Paul says above I am no longer alive unto my carnal nature but unto the the nature and mind of Christ . Its Christ in you the hope of GLORY !
Glory Greek: doxa
of the nature and acts of God in self-manifestation, i.e., what He essentially is and does, as exhibited in whatever way he reveals Himself in these respects, and particularly in the person of Christ, in whom essentially His "glory" has ever shone forth and ever will do, Jhn 17:5, 24; Hbr 1:3; it was exhibited in the character and acts of Christ in the days of His flesh.
The sling was an extension of Davids arm , the power of God in him. And it says that it is also referenced as a Veil , and the veil was symbolic of a covering or a hiding of Gods glory. And than it says it is also referenced as a Sail of a ship. Now we know without wind a sail is useless to a ship which is your flesh without the spirit of God, you must be born again . I believe the sail here is speaking of our born again spirit , born of God. John came preaching repentance ,Why because there has to be a separation of flesh and spirit. For the mind of the flesh is an enemy to God
Jhn 3:8 ASV - The wind bloweth where it will, and thou hearest the voice thereof, but knowest not whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Why does the church ignore this great truth , the book of Acts was the beginning of the Acts of the New Testament CHURCH ! .
Stone in this verse is Heb eh'·ven= precious stones. strength, firmness, solidity.
This stone is a type and shadow of Christ Jesus , Goliath is representative of, a type and shadow of our flesh , bigger than life itself . And ferocious in its quest , the mind of the flesh is death .
The only way we can overcome this earth and our flesh is by the spirit of God in us .
David picked up Five smooth river stones , the number five in bible numeric's signifies Grace, heavenly favor and Love.
1Sa 17:40 ASV - And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in the shepherd's bag which he had, even in his wallet; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.
1Sa 17:48 ASV - And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.
1Sa 17:49 ASV - And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead; and the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell upon his face to the earth.
Its by Gods grace that we are saved , a gift of faith from God . And the gospel of God through Jesus the words he spoke will also put to death the mind of our flesh . Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. If we obey this word and submit therefore unto God , his word will renew our minds and save our souls .
Jhn 14:10 ASV - Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I say unto you I speak not from myself: but the Father abiding in me doeth his works.
Jhn 12:46 ASV - I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me may not abide in the darkness.
Jhn 12:47 ASV - And if any man hear my sayings, and keep them not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Jhn 12:48 ASV - He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my sayings, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I spake, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Gods word has already decided our out come in this world it has been declared, Gods word will either save us because we believe him , or it will condemn us because of our unbelief.
This precious word if we obey , it will fight our battles and devour our enemy's , just as David took the sword and cut off the head of Goliath so we must put to death the deeds of our flesh with the sword of Gods word. Putting to death the mind of our flesh and be renewed daily by the washing water of Gods word.
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. This verse is telling us that the nature we were born with through the first Adam must die so we can take on the new nature of Christ the second Adam , born again of Gods spirit to newness of life . The first Adam failed he was created perfect in Gods image , yet he sinned and lost his right to live in Gods perfect kingdom , Eden = gan garden, enclosure, of a bride, a chaste woman . Can we see something here of Gods intent from the very beginning
Rev 2:7 ASV - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.
Rev 22:2 ASV - in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Rev 22:14 ASV - Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and my enter in by the gates into the city.
We read that before Adam and Eve sinned God himself would come in the cool of the evening and walk with them and talk with them . Eden also means a place of pleasure. Adam could lay down in the garden and sleep any where with great peace . No thorns no harmful non pleasurable thing existed in Gods garden . Adam was created in Gods image perfect but he lost his life because of sin. Man chooses to sin , God wanted children to love him and obey him.
1Cr 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
1Cr 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Cr 15:46 ASV - Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; then that which is spiritual.
1Cr 15:47 ASV - The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.
Jesus has come to reconcile Gods creation back unto the father.
2Cr 5:19 ASV - to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Gen 1:27 ASV - And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And Jesus has come to reconcile you back to this Garden and to the
