Jhn 14:26 In My Name
2Jo 1:7 ASV - For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, even they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
2Jo 1:8 ASV - Look to yourselves, that ye lose not the things which we have wrought, but that ye receive a full reward.
2Jo 1:9 ASV - Whosoever goeth onward and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not God: he that abideth in the teaching, the same hath both the Father and the Son.
2Jo 1:10 ASV - If any one cometh unto you, and bringeth not this teaching, receive him not into your house, and give him no greeting
Whosoever goeth onward and abideth not in the teaching of Christ , is this a telling of the church today. Where has the church gone from the book of Acts and the writing of the apostles to today.
Jesus said these signs will follow those who BELIEVE. Jesus said oh ye of little faith , with out faith it will be impossible to please the father
Hbr 13:12 ASV - Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered without the gate.
Hbr 13:13 ASV - Let us therefore go forth unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
Hbr 13:14 ASV - For we have not here an abiding city, but we seek after the city which is to come.
Hbr 13:15 ASV - Through him then let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which make confession to his name.
Rev 22:14 ASV - Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
Tree in the Greek: xulon
of "the cross," the tree being the stauros, the upright pale or stake to which Romans nailed those who were thus to be executed, Act 5:30; 10:39; 13:29; Gal 3:13; 1Pe 2:24;
(c) of "the tree of life," Rev 2:7; 22:2
Of Life in the Greek: zoe
Life, Living, Lifetime, Life-Giving:
(Eng., "zoo," "zoology") is used in the NT "of life as a principle, life in the absolute sense, life as God has it, that which the Father has in Himself, and which He gave to the Incarnate Son to have in Himself, Jhn 5:26, and which the Son manifested in the world, 1Jo 1:2. From this life man has become alienated in consequence of the Fall, Eph 4:18, and of this life men become partakers through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Jhn 3:15, who becomes its Author to all such as trust in Him, Act 3:15, and who is therefore said to be 'the life' of the believer, Col 3:4, for the life that He gives He maintains, Jhn 6:35, 63. Eternal life is the present actual possession of the believer because of his relationship with Christ, Jhn 5:24; 1Jo 3:14, and that it will one day extend its domain to the sphere of the body is assured by the Resurrection of Christ, 2Cr 5:4; 2Ti 1:10. This life is not merely a principle of power and mobility, however, for it has moral associations which are inseparable from it, as of holiness and righteousness. Death and sin, life and holiness, are frequently contrasted in the Scriptures.
To be reconciled to something or some one, you must first have had a relationship in the past. Now we must see this in the spirit of Gods word and not the letter. Adam and Eve was perfect in the image of God . Not the body of flesh I mean in the spirit, God had no body so man was created in Gods image we must not see a body. That is why Jesus said he came in his fathers NAME. Created in the power, nature and authority of God
Jhn 5:42 ASV - But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in yourselves.
Jhn 5:43 ASV - I am come in my Father's NAME, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
Jhn 5:44 ASV - How can ye believe, who receive glory one of another, and the glory that cometh from the only God ye seek not?
The word NAME Greek: onoma for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers:
(a) of the "Name" of God as expressing His attributes, etc., e.g., Mat 6:9; Luk 1:49; Jhn 12:28; 17:6, 26; Rom 15:9; 1Ti 6:1; Hbr 13:15; Rev 13:6;
It says above the life was the ZOE of God , now it says that when God breathed into the nostrils of Adam he became a living soul . The breath of life is from God to you, his creation was made alive by his breath of life his Zoe. That is why demons fall and shudder at the NAME of Jesus , The fullness of God was in him the power and all authority was in him. And that is what God is doing to mankind today just as in the beginning . He is recreating his plan of redemption , Jesus being the second Adam and conquering and taking the keys of hell and death. We are being transformed into his Image, Jesus said that you bear much fruit ! Jhn 15:8 ASV - Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and so shall ye be my disciples.
Jhn 1:11 ASV - He came unto his own, and they that were his own received him not.
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name: Do all things in the name of Jesus , Jesus said in my name YOU shall cast out devils lay hands on the sick and they SHALL recover. its not saying the name it is having the understanding of what that names means to you . Jesus said all power, and authority has been given unto me. Remember in Acts 19:13-16 the sons of Sceva they did not have the power of the name of Jesus living in them they were not believers
Act 19:15 ASV - And the evil spirit answered and said unto them, Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are ye?
The devils know who are children of God and what power and authority they have, Jesus said behold Luk 10:19 ASV - Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you. The word all being nothing left out !
Mat 24:30 ASV - and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. The power and authority coming with Christ is his church and they shall see his saints. Rev 1:7 ASV - Behold, he cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen.
Rev 17:14 ASV - These shall war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they also shall overcome that are with him, called and chosen and faithful.
Eph 1:19 ASV - and what the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might
Eph 1:20 ASV - which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,
Eph 1:21 ASV - far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
Eph 1:22 ASV - and he put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church,
Eph 1:23 ASV - which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Being born of a new spirit , born again. Not of your natural fathers blood nor of the will of his flesh not from mans will. But born of God be reconciled back to the father. We all need the book of Acts 2:1 experience on the day of Pentecost , a rushing mighty wind Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him. This is what Jesus died for that you may receive the promise of the father it says even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him. This is for all man kind it is still a promise and it is for you today. If the Lord is still calling people to his kingdom than you must be filled with his spirit just as Acts 2 chapter says.
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.
Act 2:1 ASV - And when the day of Pentecost was now come, they were all together in one place.
Act 2:2 ASV - And suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 ASV - And there appeared unto them tongues parting asunder, like as of fire; and it sat upon each one of them.
Act 2:4 ASV - And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Jesus told the scribes the only sign you will see is the sign of Johna
Mat 12:39 ASV - But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given it but the sign of Jonah the prophet:
Mat 24:3 ASV - And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Mat 24:30 ASV - and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Jesus said destroy this body I will rebuild it in three days , Jonah in the whale for three days Death ,burial and resurrection . And when Jesus resurrected he restored life to Gods church , he rebuilt the church of God in his body. Jesus told Nicodemus you MUST be born again Jhn 3:7 ASV - Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born anew.
Jhn 3:8 ASV - The wind bloweth where it will, and thou hearest the voice thereof, but knowest not whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Jhn 3:13 ASV - And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, even the Son of man, who is in heaven. Seeing with the spirit here we must see that the only one who is going to heaven in the end will be those that have put on the Lord Jesus Christ , Jhn 6:53 ASV - Jesus therefore said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye have not life in yourselves. And he was the word made flesh its his word we feed upon and live by his word
Jhn 6:54 ASV - He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal life: and I will raise him up at the last day. To drink his blood is to take on his very nature for the life is in the blood , the fruit of the spirit is the nature of Jesus.
Jhn 6:55 ASV - For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Jhn 6:56 ASV - He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood abideth in me, and I in him.
Amo 3:3 ASV - Shall two walk together, except they have agreed? Agree with his word
Jhn 6:57 ASV - As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he that eateth me, he also shall live because of me. Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. The first Adam failed the second Adam conquered hell and death and we are transformed by the renewing of our mind, the word of God will renew our minds and so he that eateth me, he also shall live because of me. The carnal man must die and the new man of our spirit must be fed the pure word of the gospel. And we will renew our mind , and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. 1Cr 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. The father is coming again for sons of God the fruit of Jesus in us. 1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. The word manifest and manifested Greek: phaneroo
Appear, Appearing:
akin to No. 1, signifies, in the Active Voice, "to manifest;" in the Passive Voice, "to be manifested;" so, regularly, in the RV, instead of "to appear." See 2Cr 7:12; Col 3:4; Hbr 9:26; 1Pe 5:4; 1Jo 2:28; 3:2; Rev 3:18. To be manifested, in the Scriptural sense of the word, is more than to "appear." A person may "appear" in a false guise or without a disclosure of what he truly is; to be manifested is to be revealed in one's true character; this is especially the meaning of phaneroo, see, e.g., Jhn 3:21; 1Cr 4:5; 2Cr 5:10, 11; Eph 5:13.
Mat 6:22 ASV - The lamp of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. Looking in the mirrior and only seeing Jesus. Having eyes to see
Jhn 3:21 ASV - But he that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his works may be made manifest, that they have been wrought in God.
Mat 6:21 ASV - for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.
Mat 6:23 ASV - But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is the darkness!
It is Christ in you the hope of glory!!
Mat 24:13 ASV - But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.
Col 2:8 ASV - Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:
Col 2:9 ASV - for in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily,
Col 2:10 ASV - and in him ye are made full, who is the head of All Principality And Power:
