Luke 7:26 But what went ye out to see !

2Pe 1:2 ASV - Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;   The good news ,the true gospel is the knowledge of God and Jesus came to show us the father . Jesus told Phillip you know the way,     I am the way the truth and the life and religion has distorted the way and the truth and the life of Christ .  Religion has absolutely nothing to do with the gospel the good news .   Gal 1:8 ASV - But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema.
Religion has no fruit unto righteousness ,    Religion is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to an order of existence  Many religions have narratives, symbols, and sacred histories that are intended to explain the meaning of life and/or to explain the origin of life or the Universe. From their beliefs about the cosmos and human nature, people derive morality, ethics, religious laws or a preferred lifestyle.   Do we see anything about grace or mercy here ,  man today has a saying,  All roads lead unto God.  Jesus said he was the only way unto the Father.  There is only one gospel and that is the only way unto God . Does it not say Jhn 3:16 ASV - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.  I am speaking to you today about a choice one that will either cut you off or bring you in.  Man has distorted the truth they have added to and taken away from this truth. But I see a hunger in people today that can not be filled except through that truth . Babel was mans distorting the truth and looking for another way unto a god but not the true God.  Man does that today saying there has to be another way unto God .  Many religions abuse the hungry and helpless ,  its proven in history that the way to control man is through a religion have them believe its the only way and they have to come through that order to find heaven.     Luk 13:25 ASV - When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not whence ye are;  The word whence or where ,   he is saying I do know who's family you are from , My father is not your father you are not of the house of God  .   Only one religion has a cross to exemplify Gods order . Jesus said it many times unless you pick up your cross and follow me or you cannot be my disciple .
All religions are bound to this earth ,  earthy and still of a corruptible nature .  The life of Christ was the Fathers doing he sent Jesus into the world and whoever believes in him ,    Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:    Believe  Greek: pisteuo
Belief, Believe, Believers:
"to believe," also "to be persuaded of," and hence, "to place confidence in, to trust," signifies, in this sense of the word, reliance upon, not mere credence.
Act 8:14 ASV - Now when the apostles that were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
Act 8:15 ASV - who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit:
Act 8:16 ASV - for as yet it was fallen upon none of them: only they had been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
Act 8:17 ASV - Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. 
 Repentance had come to them ,Godly sorrow for their past sins a change of mind , Now they needed the Holy spirit to empower them to walk in that repentance . It says Samaria the people of Samaria , the promise is to all that believe even to the ends of the earth.  Jesus died for you to receive this promise of the Holy Spirit.  It comes by way of the word of God , of a broken and contrite heart .

  Act 19:1 ASV - And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper country came to Ephesus, and found certain disciples:
Act 19:2 ASV - and he said unto them, Did ye receive the Holy Spirit when ye believed? And they said unto him, Nay, we did not so much as hear whether the Holy Spirit was given.
Act 19:3 ASV - And he said, Into what then were ye baptized? And they said, Into John's baptism.
Act 19:4 ASV - And Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people that they should believe on him that should come after him, that is, on Jesus.
Act 19:5 ASV - And when they heard this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
Act 19:6 ASV - And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Act 19:7 ASV - And they were in all about twelve men.

Act 2:33 ASV - Being therefore by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath poured forth this, which ye see and hear.
Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
As I stated earlier the religions of the world are of this earth ,earthy . They have no remedy for escaping the bonds of this earth . And as you read there is only one way ,  With the heart man believes unto salvation you must repent with your heart .  Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Baptism is more than getting wet , it is more than joining an organization .  It is not just something you do to appease some one .   Do you see what it says baptized INTO Christ Jesus baptized unto his death .   This is talking about son-ship ,    Rom 8:14 ASV - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.   People must see that Christ was not only the son of God he was also the son of man born of flesh and blood just as we. He had to be the perfect sacrifice . He suffered he was hungry he became thirsty.      Hbr 5:7 ASV - Who in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,
Hbr 5:8 ASV - though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered;
Hbr 5:9 ASV - and having been made perfect, he became unto all them that obey him the author of eternal salvation;       Luk 22:42 ASV - saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.      He was the son of God and in his flesh he was just as you and I , And we will walk that same road and we will drink that same cup ,  that is what the cross is for to put to death the deeds of our flesh ,      Gal 5:16 ASV - But I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 ASV - For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.
The Holy Ghost  comes only through repentance just as Peter told the ones in Acts 2 
Do you have the Holy Spirit in you,  does Jesus abide in you . Its not by works of the flesh its by righteous living and the fruit we manifest .   Acts 19 when Paul heard these men speak he knew they did not have the Holy Spirit , if the tree is holy it will manifest the fruit of Christ. It says they were disciples they were repentant in heart but they need the power of the Holy Ghost . Jesus said I come and abide IN you .  
Jhn 15:4 ASV - Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me.  

Gal 3:26 ASV - For ye are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus.                                     The only way to enter into the kingdom of God is to die to self and be filled with the Spirit of God .  How do you do that ? when the Holy Ghost has come he will guide you into ALL truth .  The father has taken it all out of your hands to be saved , only through Christ will this come . Our righteousness is as filthy rags Isaiah 64:6  

2Pe 3:3 ASV - knowing this first, that in the last days mockers shall come with mockery, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4 ASV - and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
2Pe 3:5 ASV - For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth compacted out of water and amidst water, by the word of God;
2Pe 3:6 ASV - by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
2Pe 3:7 ASV - but the heavens that now are, and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
2Pe 3:8 ASV - But forget not this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
2Pe 3:9 ASV - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you-ward, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 ASV - But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

We are called unto the kingdom of God not of the Earth ,  religion will destroy many .  The bible says that  Hbr 6:1 ASV - Wherefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on unto perfection; not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Luk 8:14 ASV - And that which fell among the thorns, these are they that have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to Perfection.

 Phl 3:10 ASV - that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;

But God giveth it a body even as it pleased him, and to each Seed a body of its own.

1 peter 1:3- 25
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead   unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you  who by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, ye have been put to grief in manifold trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold that perisheth though it is proved by fire, may be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ:
whom not having seen ye love; on whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.   Concerning which salvation the prophets sought and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: searching what time or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did point unto, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow them.   To whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced unto you through them that preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Spirit sent forth from heaven; which things angel desire to look into.   Wherefore girding up the loins of your mind, be sober and set your hope perfectly on the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;    as children of obedience, not fashioning yourselves according to your former lusts in the time of your ignorance: but like as he who called you is holy, be ye yourselves also holy in all manner of living; because it is written, Ye shall be holy; for I am holy.   And if ye call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to each man's work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear:   knowing that ye were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers;   but with precious blood, as of a lamb without spot, even the blood of Christ:    who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was manifested at the end of times for your sake,    Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another from the heart fervently:   having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which liveth and abideth.

Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

Jhn 4:14 ASV - but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing up unto eternal life.
Jhn 6:35 ASV - Jesus said unto them. I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

The word  Water   Greek: hudor
the "water" would symbolize the moral and practical cleansing effected by the removal of defilement by our taking heed to the Word of God in heart, life and habit; cp. Lev. 14, as to the cleansing of the leper.
As to (2), Jesus the Son of God came on His mission by, or through, "water" and blood, namely, at His baptism, when He publicly entered upon His mission and was declared to be the Son of God by the witness of the Father, and at the Cross, when He publicly closed His witness; the Apostle's statement thus counteracts the doctrine of the Gnostics that the Divine Logos united Himself with the Man Jesus at His baptism, and left him at Gethsemane. On the contrary, He who was baptized and He who was crucified was the Son of God throughout in His combined Deity and humanity.
(1) of the Word of God, as in 1Pe 1:23 

(2) of the truth conveyed by baptism, this being the expression, not the medium, the symbol, not the cause, of the believer's identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. So the New Birth is, in one sense, the setting aside of all that the believer was according to the flesh, for it is evident that there must be an entirely new beginning. Some regard the kai, "and," in Jhn 3:5, as epexegetic, == "even," in which case the "water" would be emblematic of the Spirit, as in Jhn 7:38 (cp. Jhn 4:10, 14), but not in 1Jo 5:8, where the Spirit and the "water" are distinguished. "The water of life," Rev 21:6; 22:1, 17, is emblematic of the maintenance of spiritual life in perpetuity.

Importance of Water in the natural
Water makes up 70-75% of the body weight of the average human being. A person can survive for up to 4 weeks without food but no longer than 3 days without water. Water performs many different functions inside the body. It forms the bulk of blood and tissue fluid and is therfore essential for transporting nutrients, hormones and waste products around the body. Water helps control the delicate balances of concentrations within the cells.   Every once in a while I am brought to a place of Awe , I can see the parallel design of Gods creation , how the natural is correlated with the spiritual

.    Mat 4:4 ASV - But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.   The word of God says    Hbr 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.   James says Gods word has the ability to save your souls .  Adam lost the sovereignty of Gods power and plans in him because of sin disobedience to Gods command .  And every one that came after Adam because he was there father their blood father they to were condemned also under the same curse as Adam.  All have sin and fell short of the glory of God , that is why we need a savior . Jesus is the remedy for your problems he is the Restoration of your life.    Listen to this scripture and understand  Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  This is the reconciliation God made for you , the first Adam lost his place in Gods kingdom by choosing to disobey and all men after him were condemned ,  But Jesus the second Adam being born also of the flesh and tempted as we the bible says ,     Hbr 4:15 ASV - For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.    Jesus has shown the way unto his father , he came to revel the love and the nature of his father .  He says he is the way and the truth and the LIFE ,  And you know the way to where I am going ,   Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me .   Jesus is the way unto the father, his life his testimony, his words of grace to those that believe.      Rom 8:29 ASV - For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:
2Cr 3:18 ASV - But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.
2Cr 4:4 ASV - in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn upon them.
Col 1:15 ASV - who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
Col 3:10 ASV - and have put on the new man, that is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of him that created him:    As I have said before the kingdom of God is not meet nor drink your old man your carnal nature , but righteousness peace and Joy .  He has fulfilled his ministry  to you  and I .   Isa 52:10 ASV - Jehovah hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God  .

Yes God had a plan and it was a perfect sacrifice for all man kind .   Our Passover Lamb

Isaiah 53
  Who hath believed our message? and to whom hath the arm of Jehovah been revealed?
 For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
  He was despised, and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we esteemed him not.
  .Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
  - But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Jehovah hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
    He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he opened not his mouth; as a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.
 By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who [among them] considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living for the transgression of my people to whom the stroke [was due]?
 - And they made his grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in his death; although he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
 Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.
  He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by the knowledge of himself shall my righteous servant justify many; and he shall bear their iniquities.
 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out his soul unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors: yet he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Isa 52:14 ASV - Like as many were astonished at thee (his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men),



Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

 Rom 5:14 ASV - Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the likeness of Adam's transgression, who is a figure of him that was to come.


Jhn 2:3 ASV - And when the wine failed, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
Jhn 2:4 ASV - And Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
Jhn 2:5 ASV - His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
Jhn 2:6 ASV - Now there were six waterpots of stone set there after the Jews' manner of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece.
Waterpots in this story is very revealing metaphorically I see man kind as the waterpot, made of the earth ,   a vessel .  And Jesus is requested to provide wine by supernatural means,    by his mothers request and by faith she tells the servants standing there to do what ever he says . Jesus looks at the vessels or pots which has another wine or( blood )  .  Jesus tells them to fill the pots with water ( the water being the washing water of the word)  And it says they filled them to the brim ,  when they returned with them. Jesus said take some to the ruler of the feast .  The best for last !    The water of Gods word is transformed in us the cleansing power of the blood of the lamb as we consume this word of God it will transform us into his image . We are the pots,  the water is the word of God in us,  and the wine is the blood of Jesus ,   the passover lamb for us .  Luk 5:38 ASV - But new wine must be put into fresh wine-skins.  You must be born again

Jhn 2:7 ASV - Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
Jhn 2:8 ASV - And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the ruler of the feast. And they bare it.
Jhn 2:9 ASV - And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and knew not whence it was (but the servants that had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast calleth the bridegroom,
Jhn 2:10 ASV - and saith unto him, Every man setteth on first the good wine; and when men have drunk freely, then that which is worse: thou hast kept the good wine until now.

The world is reeling as a drunken man , with out purpose and without feeling.  Who is the prince of this world . He told Jesus on the mountain this world was given to me ,  do you know how he obtained this earth .   Adam ! he lost it through disobedience to Gods commands.  And said I can give it to whom ever I want , if we read revelations we can see who he gives it to in the end   Remember the devil is a liar and the father of lies .  Jesus conquered hell and death and made an open show   Col 2:15 ASV - having despoiled the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
    
Luk 4:6 ASV - And the devil said unto him, To thee will I give all this authority, and the glory of them: for it hath been delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.   Love not the world nor things therof, but seek ye first the kingdom of God .
1Cr 15:22 ASV - For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Cr 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.  Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.    The word says that Jesus will come again as a thief in the night ,  he said no man knows the hour or the day .  So where do we stand with this word how is this word making a home in us .  It is the word where Jesus said unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood . Being transformed by the renewing of your mind,  and this word is renewing our mind as we walk in his word it renews us daily .  The blood is his very life the life he lived upon this earth, it was your example . For the life is in the blood ,  he was the express image of God he said you see me you see the father . The power the authority and character , nature of his father,  he came in his fathers name.
And we come in Jesus name , the power and the nature the character of who Jesus is . It not just saying the name , its walking in that name .  Christ in you the hope of glory .
Col 2:6 ASV - As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,  The way the truth and the life
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
In the end The father is coming for the fruit of Christ in us ,  Luk 8:14 ASV - And that which fell among the thorns, these are they that have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.      Let us press on unto perfection putting on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom 13:14 ASV - But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.    We must get on our cross and put to death this old man of the flesh the carnal nature , and put on the nature of the Lord Jesus.

Jer 42:3 ASV - that Jehovah thy God may show us the way wherein we should walk, and the thing that we should do.

Reconciling The World Unto Himself

The word reconciliation is wonderful to the fact that to be reconciled to something or some one , it means there was a time when they were in that place of unity.  And they lost their unity like marriage or friendships etc,  so there is a need for reconciliation  .
      Reconciliation   Greek: katallage

Atonement:
translated "atonement" in the AV of Rom 5:11, signifies, not "atonement," but "reconciliation," as in the RV. See also Rom 11:15; 2Cr 5:18, 19. So with the corresponding verb katallasso, See under RECONCILE. "Atonement" (the explanation of this English word as being "at-one-ment" is entirely fanciful) is frequently found in the OT. See, for instance, Leviticus, chapters 16 and 17. The corresponding NT words are hilasmos, "propitiation," 1Jo 2:2; 4:10, and hilasterion, Rom 3:25; Hbr 9:5, "mercy-seat," the covering of the ark of the covenant. These describe the means (in and through the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His death on the Cross by the shedding of His blood in His vicarious sacrifice for sin) by which God shows mercy to sinners.


2Cr 5:19 ASV - to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  Now Adam and Eve were created perfect they were perfectly created and the garden was also perfect ,  the trees in the garden were for food all but one . Gen 2:9 ASV - And out of the ground made Jehovah God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Gen 2:17 ASV - but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
The tree of knowledge of good and evil , but right next to it was the tree of Life.  And of course the flesh wants to feed the carnal nature.  Adam and Eve were given the ability to choose and they chose the way of death . My question is why not life everlasting to choose the tree of life and live. 
Gen 1:27 ASV - And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.  This is not speaking of your flesh God is a spirit so to be made in his image is to be a spiritual man . This is speaking of a spiritual image,   who God is his very nature and his character all that God is .  Can we see what Adam lost by his fall in the garden.
 Col 1:13 ASV - who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;
Col 1:14 ASV - in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins:
Col 1:15 ASV - who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
Jesus said he came in his fathers name and we know that the word name in Greek is the
character ,nature and authority of God ,he came in his fathers image  . And now we must come in the very image of who Christ is. Jesus came to show us the father .
Gal 2:20 ASV - I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
Jesus said if you see me you see the father I and the father are one.



Jhn 14:16 ASV - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,
Jhn 14:17 ASV - even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.

2Cr 3:18 ASV - But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.
   I tell you that there is a perfection in Christ Jesus that the father requires of his children .  Adam was perfect in his creation , but by choice he failed and so the curse came to all mankind born after Adam .    Rom 5-14  Still, everyone died—from the time of Adam to the time of Moses—even those who did not disobey an explicit commandment of God, as Adam did. Now Adam is a symbol, a representation of Christ, who was yet to come.     1Cr 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.    Adam gave us our flesh body but Jesus came to restore what Adam lost ,   Life everlasting.  So we are reconciled back to God through Christ and his blood is our redeeming grace .    Christ came to bring many sons unto God ,  as I said we have our own cross to bear also.   Jesus took our sin nature and nailed it to the cross We die to our carnal nature our flesh man so that Christ may be glorified in us.   In the end Christ was glorified and his body was glorified .   So according to 1 Cor 15 we shall be glorified also.    1Cr 15:52 ASV - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   There it is      1Cr 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Cr 15:53 ASV - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.   What this is saying is the nature and the character of Christ in you the hope of glory is what we will be like .  It is the fruit of righteousness that we obtain through Christ eating his flesh the word of God and drinking his blood which is his very nature .  The father is coming for the fruit of his son in us.   But be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.   1Jo 4:9 ASV - Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him.    Col 1:26 ASV - even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,

Conformed, Conformable:
"to fashion or shape one thing like another," is translated "conformed" in Rom 12:2, AV; RV, "fashioned;" "fashioning" in 1Pe 1:14. This verb has more especial reference to that which is transitory, changeable, unstable; summorphizo, to that which is essential in character and thus complete or durable, not merely a form or outline. Suschematizo could not be used of inward transformation.

of believers, Rom 12:2, "be ye transformed," the obligation being to undergo a complete change which, under the power of God, will find expression in character and conduct; morphe lays stress on the inward change, schema (see the preceding verb in that verse, suschematizo) lays stress on the outward (see FASHION, No. 3, FORM, No. 2); the present continuous tenses indicate a process; 2Cr 3:18 describes believers as being "transformed (RV) into the same image" (i.e., of Christ in all His moral excellencies), the change being effected by the Holy Spirit.

Renewing    Greek: anakainosis

Renew, Renewing (Verb and Noun):
akin to A, No. 1, "a renewal," is used in Rom 12:2, "the renewing (of your mind)," i.e., the adjustment of the moral and spiritual vision and thinking to the mind of God, which is designed to have a transforming effect upon the life; in Tts 3:5, where "the renewing of the Holy Spirit" is not a fresh bestowment of the Spirit, but a revival of His power, developing the Christian life; this passage stresses the continual operation of the indwelling Spirit of God; the Romans passage stresses the willing response on the part of the believer.

Mind     Greek: nous              the new nature, which belongs to the believer by reason of the new birth, Rom 7:23, 25, where it is contrasted with "the flesh," the principle of evil which dominates fallen man. Under (b) may come 2Th 2:2, where it stands for the determination to be steadfast amidst afflictions, through the confident expectation of the day of rest and recompense mentioned in the first chapter.
The word of God has come to renew your mind , what does the scripture say of his word
Hbr 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.  This word if you obey will save you Spirit ,Soul and Body.

I see this tree of life metaphorically being our cross , and the only way to enter the gates of that city is to bear that cross , and lose this carnal life and take up the very ZOE of God life everlasting.

LIFE   Greek: zoe

Life, Living, Lifetime, Life-Giving:
(Eng., "zoo," "zoology") is used in the NT "of life as a principle, life in the absolute sense, life as God has it, that which the Father has in Himself, and which He gave to the Incarnate Son to have in Himself, Jhn 5:26, and which the Son manifested in the world, 1Jo 1:2. From this life man has become alienated in consequence of the Fall, Eph 4:18, and of this life men become partakers through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Jhn 3:15, who becomes its Author to all such as trust in Him, Act 3:15, and who is therefore said to be 'the life' of the believer, Col 3:4, for the life that He gives He maintains, Jhn 6:35, 63. Eternal life is the present actual possession of the believer because of his relationship with Christ, Jhn 5:24; 1Jo 3:14, and that it will one day extend its domain to the sphere of the body is assured by the Resurrection of Christ
