The Word IF !

Mar 11:13 KJV - And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
Mar 11:14 KJV - And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

Heb 2:1 ASV - Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things that were heard, lest haply we drift away from them.
Heb 3:12 ASV - Take heed, brethren, lest haply there shall be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God:
Heb 4:1 ASV - Let us fear therefore, lest haply, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it.

1Pe 1:17 ASV - And if ye call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to each man's work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear:
1Pe 3:1 ASV - In like manner, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, even if any obey not the word, they may without the word be gained by the behavior of their wives;

IF  Greek: ei ara

Haply (If, Lest):
denotes "if therefore," "if accordingly" (i.e., if in these circumstances), e.g., Mar 11:13, of Christ and the fig tree (not "if perchance," but marking a correspondence in point of fact).

Greek: mepote

Haply (If, Lest):
lit., "lest ever," "lest haply," e.g., Luk 14:29, of laying a foundation, with the possibility of being unable to finish the building; Act 5:39, of the possibility of being found fighting against God; Hbr 3:12 RV, "lest haply," of the possibility of having an evil heart of unbelief. The RV usually has "lest haply" (AV "lest at any time"), e.g., Mat 4:6; 5:25; 13:15; Mar 4:12; Luk 4:11; 21:34; Hbr 2:1; in Mat 25:9, the RV has "peradventure;" in 2Ti 2:25, AV and RV, have "if peradventure;" in Jhn 7:26 the RV has "Can it be that," for the word "Do" in the AV.
The websters meaning for IF  Full Definition of IF  something that is not certain : something that could either happen or not happen
 a :  in the event that
b :  allowing that
c :  on the assumption that
d :  on condition that

Rom 10:9 ASV - because IF thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved:   Confess   Greek: homologeo

Confess, Confession:
lit., "to speak the same thing" (homos, "same," lego, "to speak"), "to assent, accord, agree with
In Mat 10:32; Luk 12:8 the construction of this verb with en, "in," followed by the dative case of the personal pronoun, has a special significance, namely, to "confess" in a person's name, the nature of the "confession" being determined by the context, the suggestion being to make a public "confession." Thus the statement, "every one... who shall confess Me (lit., "in Me," i.e., in My case) before men, him (lit., "in him," i.e., in his case) will I also confess before My Father...," conveys the thought of "confessing" allegiance to Christ as one's Master and Lord, and, on the other hand, of acknowledgment, on His part, of the faithful one as being His worshipper and servant, His loyal follower; this is appropriate to the original idea in homologeo of being identified in thought or language.   This is speaking of more than being saved or your conversion.  This is a life time of obedience to the Lord and his word , we speak the same thing daily as the Lord commanded us .
James says this word of God has the power to save our soul , and by confession of his word we dictate our walk by our confession.  The word if ! is a small word with great consequences .

So I am seeing here that the word IF in the word of God is a conditional word ,  The word of God and its promises see it as faith on a mans part , believing that God has given me everything nessessary for living a postive faithful life for God we move in his grace .   Eph 1:3 ASV - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ:
Eph 1:4 ASV - even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love:
Eph 1:5 ASV - having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

2Pe 1:3 ASV - seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue;
2Pe 1:4 ASV - whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in that world by lust.
2Pe 1:5 ASV - Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in your virtue knowledge;
2Pe 1:6 ASV - and in your knowledge self-control; and in your self-control patience; and in your patience godliness;
2Pe 1:7 ASV - and in your godliness brotherly kindness; and in your brotherly kindness love.
2Pe 1:8 ASV - For IF  these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Virtue , knowledge  ,self control , patience  godliness, kindness and lastly LOVE .  This sounds a lot like the fruit of the spirit They are all attributes of Christ The word says to do all in the name of the Lord Jesus and that being his character , nature and Authority his power .  People should believe this word of God there is so much that is not scripture man made doctrines , even doctrines of demons .   Make sure what you believe is from this bible and it is the total word of God.   For IF  these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Here is the conditional part of this commandant, than in
obeying the gospel of God you will know Jesus as a savior and a friend .    1Pe 4:7 ASV - But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore of sound mind, and be sober unto prayer:
The bible says that these men wrote as God instructed them by his spirit ,  God breathed his word unto us , so God the father is saying that all through time from the moment this book of Peter was penned to this very hour you are reading read it , I am coming as a thief in the night no man knows the hour . We must be looking for his coming at all times.  So the end of all things is at hand . Remember the Parable of the ten virgins  Mat 25:1 ASV - Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
Mat 25:2 ASV - And five of them were foolish, and five were wise.
Mat 25:3 ASV - For the foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them:
Mat 25:4 ASV - but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
Mat 25:5 ASV - Now while the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
Mat 25:6 ASV - But at midnight there is a cry, Behold, the bridegroom! Come ye forth to meet him.
Mat 25:7 ASV - Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.  Manifesting the garment of salvation through obedience of Gods word.
Mat 25:8 ASV - And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are going out.
Mat 25:9 ASV - But the wise answered, saying, Peradventure there will not be enough for us and you: go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.   Now is the time to fill yourselves with the word of God and manifest his nature , as you see when he returns it will be to late , now is the time for your salvation
Mat 25:10 ASV - And while they went away to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage feast: and the door was shut.
Mat 25:11 ASV - Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
Mat 25:12 ASV - But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Now the word classifies these ten woman as all virgins and at the beginning they were waiting for the bridegroom, they went forth to meet Jesus.   Than it says five were foolish and five were wise.

Virgins  Greek: parthenos

Daughter
metaphorically of "chaste persons / 2Ti 3:5 ASV - holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away.  The lamps here is the word of God ,
Psa 119:105 ASV - NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.

 Oil in  Greek: elaion  / oil" is a symbol of the Holy Spirit ,  Five virgins had the oil the power of the Holy Spirit and five were lacking.  The church of God today is lacking in the ability to  disseminate the word of God in their life's ,              dis·sem·i·nate   to spread abroad as though sowing seed    to disperse throughout .  Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.
 The parable of the sower Jesus sows the word of God in our hearts the good ground and it bears much fruit even to a hundred fold.
Oil:
"olive oil," is mentioned over 200 times in the Bible. Different kinds were known in Palestine. The "pure," RV (AV, "beaten"), mentioned in Exd 27:20; 29:40; Lev 24:2; Num 28:5 (now known as virgin oil), extracted by pressure, without heat, is called "golden" in Zec 4:12.
(a) for lamps, in which the "oil" is a symbol of the Holy Spirit, Mat 25:3, 4, 8;

The word Trimmed    Greek: kosmeo
Adorn, Adorning:
primarily "to arrange, to put in order" (Eng., "cosmetic"), is used of furnishing a room, Mat 12:44; Luk 11:25, and of trimming lamps, Mat 25:7. Hence, "to adorn, to ornament," as of garnishing tombs, Mat 23:29; buildings, Luk 21:5; Rev 21:19; one's person, 1Ti 2:9; 1Pe 3:5; Rev 21:2; metaphorically, of "adorning a doctrine," Tts 2:10.
Isa 61:10 ASV - I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with a garland, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
Isa 61:11 ASV - For as the earth bringeth forth its bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord Jehovah will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.   He shall come as a bridegroom the victor with a garland of victory about his head not a crown of thorns , and the bride adorneth herself with her jewels  Jewels in the HEB   kel·ē'     utensil, implement, apparatus, Vessel
2Ti 2:20 ASV - Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some unto honor, and some unto dishonor.
2Ti 2:21 ASV - If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, meet for the master's use, prepared unto every good work.
Vessel in Greek   Greek: skeuos
Vessel:
is used   (a) of "a vessel or implement"

Heb 4:1 ASV - Let us fear therefore, lest haply, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it.    Putting on the Garments of righteousness

Slept in Greek
of carnal indifference to spiritual things on the part of believers, Eph 5:14; 1Th 5:6, 10 (as in Mar 13:36), a condition of insensibility to Divine things involving conformity to the world

Thy word oh God is a lamp unto my feet . a light unto my path

Greek: lampas    Lamp:
denotes "a torch" (akin to lampo, "to shine"), frequently fed, like, a "lamp," with oil from a little vessel used for the purpose (the angeion of Mat 25:4); they held little oil and would frequently need replenishing.      OIL in the Greek: elaion      for lamps, in which the "oil" is a symbol of the Holy Spirit, Mat 25:3, 4, 8;

We Have An Example

1Pe 4:6 ASV - For unto this end was the gospel preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
1Pe 4:7 ASV - But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore of sound mind, and be sober unto prayer:
1Pe 4:8 ASV - above all things being fervent in your love among yourselves; for love covereth a multitude of sins:

1Co 10:1 ASV - For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
1Co 10:2 ASV - and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
1Co 10:3 ASV - and did all eat the same spiritual food;
1Co 10:4 ASV - and did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them: and the rock was Christ.
1Co 10:5 ASV - Howbeit with most of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
1Co 10:11 ASV - Now these things happened unto them by way of  Example; and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages are come.

Jhn 13:15 ASV - For I have given you an example, that ye also should do as I have done to you.
Act 20:35 ASV - In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring ye ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
1Co 10:11 ASV - Now these things happened unto them by way of Example; and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages are come.
Heb 4:11 ASV - Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience. Two examples here Obedience to this word or Disobedience to his word
1Pe 2:21 ASV - For hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye should follow his steps:    Remembering always the cross ! our cross this is his example to us .    2Co 4:10 ASV - always bearing about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body.
 Example  Greek: hupogrammos
Example:
lit., "an under-writing" (from hupographo, "to write under, to trace letters" for copying by scholars); hence, "a writing-copy, an example," 1Pe 2:21, said of what Christ left for believers, by His sufferings (not expiatory, but exemplary), that they might "follow His steps."

Jde 1:7 ASV - Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, having in like manner with these given themselves over to fornication and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.
1Ti 4:12 ASV - Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an ensample to them that believe, in word, in manner of life, in love, in faith, in purity.   Ensample   Greek: summimetes
Imitate, Imitator:denotes "a fellow imitator"

Luk 6:45 ASV - The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Luk 6:46 ASV - And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Luk 6:47 ASV - Every one that cometh unto me, and heareth my words, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like:
Luk 6:48 ASV - he is like a man building a house, who digged and went deep, and laid a foundation upon the rock: and when a flood arose, the stream brake against that house, and could not shake it: because it had been well builded.

The word of God is written in types and shadows , parables were types and shadows of things to come .  The disciples ask Jesus what is the meaning of this parable such as the sower of the seed. Matt 13  The things that happened in the old testament were a type and a shadow of the
Spiritual things to come .  Today God is giving revelation to these parables and the understanding of his word .  Pro 25:2 ASV - It is the glory of God to conceal a thing; But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.  Through prayer and searching,  waiting on the Lord for understanding .  This is why I have said in the past if you have repented of your sins and have been baptised unto the death of Jesus Christ, buried with him  Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;  Men in the natural do not understand the importance of this baptisim .  1Pe 3:18 ASV - Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;
1Pe 3:19 ASV - in which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison,
1Pe 3:20 ASV - that aforetime were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water:
1Pe 3:21 ASV - which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;
Interrogation   Greek: eperotema
Interrogation:   primarily a question or inquiry, denotes "a demand or appeal;" it is found in 1Pe 3:21, RV,   But the interrogation of a good conscience toward God.
Here is the answer to the question of Baptism very important the word says yes and with out it you have no remission of your sins it was a commandment given by Jesus .    Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned. Jesus was buried in the grave for three days under the earth , Romans 6 says we were buried with him unto his death . You must go under the water get buried completely submersed .  Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation , this is the gospel ! Jesus said it as a commandment to all that believe, anything short of this is another gospel its not the words of Jesus .
You need the Holy Spirit to understand the truths of Gods word , if you see it in the letter of the word only than the spiritual part is lost .    Luk 8:10 ASV - And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to the rest in parables; that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand. Jesus said you have not because you ask not , ask and see the Lord stands ready to answer your prayer . There is a true infilling of Gods spirit for you the promise Jesus spoke of in John 16.

 Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?  Repent means to have a change of mind turn and walk towards God,   turn from your sins
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Remission    Greek: aphesis
Forgive, Forgave, Forgiveness:
denotes "a dismissal, release" (akin to A, No. 1); it is used of the remission of sins, and translated "forgiveness" in Mar 3:29; Eph 1:7; Col 1:14, and in the AV of Act 5:31; 13:38; 26:18, in each of which the RV has "remission." Eleven times it is followed by "of sins," and once by "of trespasses." It is never used of the remission of sins in the Sept., but is especially connected with the Year of Jubilee (Lev 25:10, etc.). Cp. the RV of Luk 4:18, "release" (AV, "liberty"). For the significance in connection with remission of sins and the propitiatory sacrifice of Christ,
Exo 12:21 ASV - Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out, and take you lambs according to your families, and kill the passover.
Exo 12:22 ASV - And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side-posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.
Exo 12:23 ASV - For Jehovah will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side-posts, Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.    God said you must eat the whole Lamb , this is the example or the type and shadow for us today .  He is your passover he is Lord of the sabbath he is your rest .   And his blood over you through the obedience to this word is your remission of sins. And  Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.   The blood is applied to your heart ,the house here is your body and Jesus came to save us Spirit ,Soul and body . Rev 3:20 ASV - Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.   Apply the blood of Jesus to your heart open your door to him its the only way to true remission of sins.     2Co 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Those that are broken by Godly sorrow with repentance. And worldly sorrow is but for a moment and forgotton, and brings no fruit unto perfection.   God is calling even today he stands ready to forgive and save,  the word saved in the Geek means healed when you get saved you get healed delivered from the bonds of death if you walk in his word.
1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Rom 15:13 ASV - Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jo 2:17 ASV - And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
Rom 10:9 ASV - because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved:
Rom 10:10 ASV - for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Jhn 4:32 ASV - But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not.
Jhn 4:34 ASV - Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to accomplish his work.
Jhn 4:35 ASV - Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh the harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white already unto harvest.

The Sharpest Sword Of All

Jhn 1:1 ASV - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jhn 1:2 ASV - The same was in the beginning with God.
Jhn 1:3 ASV - All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made.
Jhn 1:4 ASV - In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

There is so much to say concerning this , we must move on to this very day and time , seeing that what is happening on the earth and around us today, has all been explained in Gods word.  Gods word is a treasure map and if we follow the map in absolute obedience we know there is a reward in the end and finding the treasure . I want to say man has abused and confused the word of God so drastically that for people as a whole can not discern the truth of the gospel and the false of the other gospel.  But the Lord God has given us a power to discern and understand the truth of his word . That being the gift of the Holy Spirit , not that spirit the worldly church gives .  Jesus said the only way you shall receive this gift is that I go away.      Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.    He shall guide you into all the truth
And he shall declare unto you the things that are to come .   Jhn 14:3 ASV - And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Jhn 14:18 ASV - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you.

Rev 3:19 ASV - As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Rev 3:20 ASV - Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will SUP with him, and he with me.

Greek: deipneo

Sup:
"to sup" (said of taking the chief meal of the day), occurs in Luk 17:8; 22:20 (in the best texts), lit., "(the) supping;" so 1Cr 11:25; metaphorically in Rev 3:20, of spiritual communion between Christ and the faithful believer.
1Co 6:19 ASV - Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;

Now we see that without the promise ,the gift of Gods spirit living in us we can not sup with him ,  we have no communion with Christ .       I hear people talk about the Spirit of God the Holy Spirit moving and working in them .  But I see a different spirit working through them ,     Mat 7:16 ASV - By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat 7:17 ASV - Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18 ASV - A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 ASV - Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 ASV - Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Mat 7:21 ASV - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Jas 1:8 ASV - a doubleminded man, unstable in all his ways.   Every day my life proves me and instructs me in the ways of righteousness .  I have no righteousness of my own , I am just as every man upon this earth born into sin and needing the blood of Jesus to cleanse me of my sin .
Col 3:2 ASV - Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.
Rom 8:5 ASV - For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Act 3:19 ASV - Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord;
Act 17:30 ASV - The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commandeth men that they should all everywhere repent:
Greek: dipsuchos

Double-Minded:
lit. means "two-souled" (dis, "twice," psuche, "a soul"), hence, "double-minded," Jam 1:8; 4:8.
manifesting  two lifes ,
1Jo 2:6 ASV - he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.
Every thing I am sharing with you now is what I pray for I to am under this great word and fail some times I know that if I am truthful with the Lord and repent he will cleanse me and heal me everyday of all unrighteousness. Rom 21:1-2 This word will renew our minds to the righteousness of Gods will in our lifes . Changing the software in our minds to his WORD his mind,  putting on the mind of CHRIST .   When Gods word speaks of a mans mind he is speaking of that mans soul . The Mind , the Will and the Emotions of that man .     Jas 1:21 ASV - Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. Soul   Greek: psuche

Heart, Heartily:
the soul, or life, is rendered "heart" in Eph 6:6 (marg., "soul"), "doing the will of God from the heart." In Col 3:23, a form of the word psuche preceded by ek, from, lit., "from (the) soul," is rendered "heartily."  We were made in the image of God , God has no body no flesh so we were made in his very being all that he is . Adam and Eve were perfect in every way , but disobedience brought the curse . Their image was Gods image it was the power of God in them his character his nature .   But sin push them out of their perfect world into the world of Gods curse .
So it is for us everyday,  we walk in this great truth . The word repent  Greek: metanoeo

Repent, Repentance:
lit., "to perceive afterwards" (meta, "after," implying "change," noeo, "to perceive;" nous, "the mind, the seat of moral reflection"), in contrast to pronoeo, "to perceive beforehand," hence signifies "to change one's mind or purpose," always, in the NT, involving a change for the better, an amendment, and always, except in Luk 17:3, 4, of "repentance" from sin. The word is found in the Synoptic Gospels (in Luke, nine times), in Acts five times, in the Apocalypse twelve times, eight in the messages to the churches, Rev 2:5 (twice), 16, 21 (twice), RV, "she willeth not to repent" (2nd part); Rev 3:3, 19 (the only churches in those chapters which contain no exhortation in this respect are those at Smyrna and Philadelphia); elsewhere only in 2Cr 12:21.
Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
What am I here for and why did God create me , you were created in your fathers image male and female .   But be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  The transformation comes through your body ,soul and your spirit.

1Co 15:48 ASV - As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Co 15:51 ASV - Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 ASV - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53 ASV - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 ASV - But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Co 15:55 ASV - O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?
1Th 5:23 ASV - And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Entire    Greek: holokleros  1Th 5:23 ASV - And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Complete in all its parts, in no part wanting or unsound, complete, entire, whole
of a body without blemish or defect, whether of a priest or of a victim.

Saying all of the above for the purpose of our salvation , and Gods peace abiding in us .
Eph 3:14 ASV - For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father,
Eph 3:15 ASV - from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,
Eph 3:16 ASV - that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;
Eph 3:17 ASV - that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Eph 3:18 ASV - may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,  Apprehend in the   Greek: katalambano

Apprehend:
properly signifies "to lay hold of;" then, "to lay hold of so as to possess as one's own, to appropriate." Hence it has the same twofold meaning as the Eng. "to apprehend;"
(a), "to seize upon, take possession of,"
(1) with a beneficial effect, as of "laying hold" of the righteousness which is of faith, Rom 9:30 (not there a matter of attainment, as in the Eng. versions, but of appropriation); of the obtaining of a prize, 1Cr 9:24 (RV, "attain"); of the Apostle's desire "to apprehend," or "lay hold of," that for which he was apprehended by Christ, Phl 3:12, 13;
Eph 3:19 ASV - and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God.
Eph 3:20 ASV - Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Eph 3:21 ASV - unto him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations for ever and ever. Amen.
The talk of man in the earth today , men, supposedly spiritual men. Is to believe we as children of God can take up arms and kill our brothers that do not agree with our doctrine .  To take back our country , and continue to live that life that is pleasing to our flesh . To prolong our sensual nature of our carnal man.  And do it in the name of God.   If Revelations speaks of the wrath of God coming upon this earth and he will judge the small and the great. With great fire he will purge this earth.
Isa 1:25 ASV - and I will turn my hand upon thee, and thoroughly purge away thy dross, and will take away all thy tin;  Our cross is that altar of sacrifice for us, to purge our carnal nature out of us with the fire of Gods word working in us. The light of Gods word ,the sword of truth.  Heb 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.  This is the renewing of your mind , Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
2Co 10:3 ASV - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh
2Co 10:4 ASV - (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds),
2Co 10:5 ASV - casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;

2Co 10:6 ASV - and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience shall be made full.
Eph 6:11 ASV - Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 ASV - For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Eph 6:13 ASV - Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.

Rev 3:18 ASV - I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and that the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eyesalve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see.
This verse is speaking of your spirit, soul and body , through much tribulation we shall enter the kingdom of God.    Rev 7:14 ASV - And I say unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
2Ti 2:21 ASV - If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, meet for the master's use, prepared unto every good work.

1Cor 5-7 Our Passover Also Hath Been Sacrificed,

 Rom 5:10 ASV - For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life;  Reconciled it is a faithful walk in his word , and being saved by his life .  Life not death his death is reconciling us daily by living his life his example he gave us he was the pattern we are to live by, being holy and walking in his words and obeying his words.   Jesus said why do you call me Lord,  Lord and do not what I say.  Saved is not flipping a switch  and you are set for the rest of your life no , what does it say .You must be born again by the water and the spirit .  The water is the washing of the word it cleanses us daily as we read it and seek the truth and let it wash us it is reconciling us to God
Reconciled
By reason of this men in their sinful condition and alienation from God are invited to be "reconciled" to Him; that is to say, to change their attitude, and accept the provision God had made, whereby their sins can be remitted and they themselves be justified in His sight in Christ.

Mar 10:15 ASV - Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no wise enter therein.  Being born again and learning how to walk in his commandments .   We started out as a child in this earth , and we start off as a spiritual child in Gods kingdom .  That first person our earthy body is born of a carnal nature Adams nature , when we are reborn we are redeemed by Jesus the life giving spirit  .  Our previous life is buried with Christ in baptism Rom 6 so we now we live to please the Lord not our self's.  I heard it said one time when we come to God and repent with our hearts with Godly sorrow and receive his mercy and grace , he comes to help us on our journey with him the comforter.   So we as new born again babes, children not even being able to walk yet in the spirit , he leads us along the way .  Now our salvation is being covered by the blood of Jesus.   His death covers us and brings redemption .  So as we walk in this new life as a child of God we might fall some learning to walk in this truth,  but repentance is the key to this covering always !
So as children we might fail and God knows that ! and he has mercy towards our ignorance.
The blood covering is our savior but a day comes when God requires us to grow up in him become a full grown man .  So if we sin out of ignorance,   God pulls back the covering of the blood ,  and lets the light of his word expose that sin . He is holding us responsible now and he just does not want to cover our sin any longer,  now he wants to get to the root of that sin . So the light of Gods word exposes the sin and he requires us to repent and walk in his righteousness grow up in him !  Jesus . 1Jo 1:9 ASV - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to Cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  This is where repentance is a part of our daily life ,  it is getting on our cross and crucifying our flesh burning up that old carnal nature .  Gal 5:18- 23

 A wonderful Father he is ,  remember the passover
Exo 12:5 ASV - Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old: ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:
Exo 12:7 ASV - And they shall take of the blood, and put it on the two side-posts and on the lintel, upon the houses wherein they shall eat it.
Exo 12:8 ASV - And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Destroyer  Heb
to destroy, corrupt, go to ruin, decay to be marred, be spoiled, be corrupted, be corrupt, be injured, be ruined, be rotted .
So what are we SAVED from !        Rom 8:2 ASV - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.     Gal 3:13 ASV - Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a CURSE for us; for it is written, CURSED is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Gal 3:14 ASV - that upon the Gentiles might come the blessing of Abraham in Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Duet 28 speaks of the Blessing and the cursing .  If we believe this type and shadow of his passover we know his blood is saving us daily .  Than what about the curse is the curses gone away are they no longer in effect.  Man kind with out the blood applied is living under the curse of sin.         Exo 12:13 ASV - And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
Exo 12:14 ASV - And this day shall be unto you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to Jehovah: throughout your generations ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

That upon the Gentiles might come the blessing of Abraham in Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith .  Not just the old testament Jews  for God so love the world .    Rom 11:25 ASV - For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant of this mystery, lest ye be wise in your own conceits, that a hardening in part hath befallen Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in;
Rom 11:26 ASV - and so all Israel shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Rom 11:27 ASV - And this is my covenant unto them, When I shall take away their sins.
With out the blood of Jesus applied to your door post of your heart the curse is in force on your life.
Only the blood of Jesus will save you ,  Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law.  Before the law came man knew no sin .  God brought the law to revel sin , man could not obey the law that is why they had yearly sacrifice . The curse is still upon this earth ,     Mat 5:17 ASV - Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 ASV - For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished.
Mat 5:17 ASV - Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 ASV - For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished.

Saved   Greek: sozo

Heal, Healing:
"to save," is translated by the verb "to heal" in the AV of Mar 5:23; Luk 8:36 (RV, "to make whole;" so AV frequently); the idea is that of saving from disease and its effects.

Recover:
"to save," is sometimes used of "healing" or "restoration to health," the latter in Jhn 11:12, RV, "he will recover," marg., "be saved" (AV, "he shall do well").
See HEAL, PRESERVE, SAVE, WHOLE.
Jas 1:4 ASV - And let patience have its perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.

Greek: holokleros
Entire:
"complete, sound in every part" (holos, "whole," kleros, "a lot," i.e., with all that has fallen by lot), is used ethically in 1Th 5:23, indicating that every grace present in Christ should be manifested in the believer; so Jam 1:4. In the Sept. the word is used, e.g., of a "full" week, Lev 23:15; of altar stones unhewn, Deu 27:6; Jos 8:31; of a "full-grown" vine tree, useless for work, Eze 15:5; of the "sound" condition of a sheep, Zec 11:16.
 Saved from what , Saved is a word of action it is the word used to fulfill the promises of God to those that believe .  Saved starts at the moment of you conversion . Healing for you body your mind your family . Jesus came and took the curse of the Law of sin and death that is upon every one still under the curse of Adam.    1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
1Co 15:47 ASV - The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.
Salvation is an ongoing thing it is continually working in you behalf .   Salvation is bringing us to the place of perfection in Christ.   Eph 1:3 ASV - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ:  every spiritual blessing .  Jesus said if you pray believing in your heart you will receive what you ask for , than it will come. So faith is what brings healing if we do not believe we will not receive any thing .
Tit 3:5 ASV - not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
So salvation is a life's walk it is what the word says its a regeneration of our souls .

 Rev 12:11 ASV - And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.

By reason of this men in their sinful condition and alienation from God are invited to be "reconciled" to Him; that is to say, to change their attitude, and accept the provision God had made, whereby their sins can be remitted and they themselves be justified in His sight in Christ.

Rev 12:11 ASV - And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.  Your must realize here that the word of their testimony was the life they lived ,
Greek: marturia

Testimony:
"witness, evidence, testimony," is almost always rendered "witness"

  Witness   Greek: martus | martur

Witness (Noun and Verb):
(whence Eng., "martyr," one who bears "witness" by his death) denotes "one who can or does aver what he has seen or heard or knows;" it is used

Heb 12:1 ASV - Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Heb 12:2 ASV - looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Heb 12:3 ASV - For consider him that hath endured such gainsaying of sinners against himself, that ye wax not weary, fainting in your souls.
