We Have An Example

1Pe 4:6 ASV - For unto this end was the gospel preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
1Pe 4:7 ASV - But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore of sound mind, and be sober unto prayer:
1Pe 4:8 ASV - above all things being fervent in your love among yourselves; for love covereth a multitude of sins:


1Co 10:1 ASV - For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
1Co 10:2 ASV - and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

Jhn 13:15 ASV - For I have given you an example, that ye also should do as I have done to you.

Heb 4:11 ASV - Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience. Two examples here Obedience to this word or Disobedience to his word
1Pe 2:21 ASV - For hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye should follow his steps:    Remembering always the cross ! our cross this is his example to us .    2Co 4:10 ASV - always bearing about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body.

Jde 1:7 ASV - Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, having in like manner with these given themselves over to fornication and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.
1Ti 4:12 ASV - Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an ensample to them that believe, in word, in manner of life, in love, in faith, in purity.   Ensample   Greek: summimetes
Imitate, Imitator:denotes "a fellow imitator"

Luk 6:45 ASV - The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Luk 6:46 ASV - And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Luk 6:47 ASV - Every one that cometh unto me, and heareth my words, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like:
Luk 6:48 ASV - he is like a man building a house, who digged and went deep, and laid a foundation upon the rock: and when a flood arose, the stream brake against that house, and could not shake it: because it had been well builded.

The word of God is written in types and shadows , parables were types and shadows of things to come .  The disciples ask Jesus what is the meaning of this parable such as the sower of the seed. Matt 13  The things that happened in the old testament were a type and a shadow of the
Spiritual things to come .  Today God is giving revelation to these parables and the understanding of his word .  Pro 25:2 ASV - It is the glory of God to conceal a thing; But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.  Through prayer and searching,  waiting on the Lord for understanding .  This is why I have said in the past if you have repented of your sins and have been baptised unto the death of Jesus Christ, buried with him  Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;  Men in the natural do not understand the importance of this baptisim .  1Pe 3:18 ASV - Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;
1Pe 3:19 ASV - in which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison,
1Pe 3:20 ASV - that aforetime were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water:
1Pe 3:21 ASV - which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;

Interrogation:   primarily a question or inquiry, denotes "a demand or appeal;" it is found in 1Pe 3:21, RV,   But the interrogation of a good conscience toward God.    
Here is the answer to the question of Baptism very important the word says yes and with out it you have no remission of your sins it was a commandment given by Jesus .    Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned. Jesus was buried in the grave for three days under the earth , Romans 6 says we were buried with him unto his death . You must go under the water get buried completely submersed .  Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation , this is the gospel ! Jesus said it as a commandment to all that believe, anything short of this is another gospel its not the words of Jesus .
You need the Holy Spirit to understand the truths of Gods word , if you see it in the letter of the word only than the spiritual part is lost .    Luk 8:10 ASV - And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to the rest in parables; that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand. Jesus said you have not because you ask not , ask and see the Lord stands ready to answer your prayer . There is a true infilling of Gods spirit for you the promise Jesus spoke of in John 16. 

 Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?  Repent means to have a change of mind turn and walk towards God,   turn from your sins
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Remission    Greek: aphesis
Forgive, Forgave, Forgiveness:
denotes "a dismissal, release" (akin to A, No. 1); it is used of the remission of sins, and translated "forgiveness" in Mar 3:29; Eph 1:7; Col 1:14, and in the AV of Act 5:31; 13:38; 26:18, in each of which the RV has "remission." Eleven times it is followed by "of sins," and once by "of trespasses." It is never used of the remission of sins in the Sept., but is especially connected with the Year of Jubilee (Lev 25:10, etc.). Cp. the RV of Luk 4:18, "release" (AV, "liberty"). For the significance in connection with remission of sins and the propitiatory sacrifice of Christ,
Exo 12:21 ASV - Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out, and take you lambs according to your families, and kill the passover.
Exo 12:22 ASV - And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side-posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.
Exo 12:23 ASV - For Jehovah will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side-posts, Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.    God said you must eat the whole Lamb , this is the example or the type and shadow for us today .  He is your passover he is Lord of the sabbath he is your rest .   And his blood over you through the obedience to this word is your remission of sins. And  Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.   The blood is applied to your heart ,the house here is your body and Jesus came to save us Spirit ,Soul and body . Rev 3:20 ASV - Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.   Apply the blood of Jesus to your heart open your door to him its the only way to true remission of sins.     2Co 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Those that are broken by Godly sorrow with repentance. And worldly sorrow is but for a moment and forgotton, and brings no fruit unto perfection.   God is calling even today he stands ready to forgive and save,  the word saved in the Geek means healed when you get saved you get healed delivered from the bonds of death if you walk in his word.
1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Rom 15:13 ASV - Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jo 2:17 ASV - And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
Rom 10:9 ASV - because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved:

Jhn 4:35 ASV - Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh the harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white already unto harvest.
