ZERUBBABEL      THE CHURCH COMING OUT OF BABYLON

 IN HEBREW =  Zerubbabel = "sown in Babylon"

We being born of the loins of Adam born of his flesh , from the moment he left the garden he was cursed and all his offspring as well .  Rom 3:21 ASV - But now apart from the law a righteousness of God hath been manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Rom 3:22 ASV - even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ unto all them that believe; for there is no distinction;
Rom 3:23 ASV - for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; 
Man at this point needs a savior , redemption from his sins .  Heb 10:4 ASV - For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.
1Jo 3:5 ASV - And ye know that he was manifested to take away sins; and in him is no sin.
Rom 3:24 ASV - being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Jhn 1:29 ASV - On the morrow he seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world!
You and I were sown in this world , and God has a perfect plan to redeem us through Christ Jesus 
1Sa 15:20 ASV - And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of Jehovah, and have gone the way which Jehovah sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.  God told Saul to utterly destroy every living thing and burn it with fire .   Just as the sin of Achan he took the devoted things unto himself .   Jos 7:1 ASV - But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the devoted thing; for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the devoted thing: and the anger of Jehovah was kindled against the children of Israel. If you notice Achans sin not only affected himself but those around him   the whole of Israel suffered because of his sin .    Jos 7:11 ASV - Israel hath sinned; yea, they have even transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: yea, they have even taken of the devoted thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also; and they have even put it among their own stuff.
Jos 7:12 ASV - Therefore the children of Israel cannot stand before their enemies; they turn their backs before their enemies, because they are become accursed: I will not be with you any more, except ye destroy the devoted thing from among you.   1Co 12:12 ASV - For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
Today it is the same ,  sin will not be allowed in the camp today.  And if Gods called out people allow this sin in their fellowship it will also fall on them.       2Ti 3:1 ASV - But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come.
2Ti 3:2 ASV - For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 ASV - without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,
2Ti 3:4 ASV - traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 ASV - holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away.   What power has these men denied in their walk  ?   power over sin !

Greek: dunamis  Ability, Able:  is
(a) "power, ability," physical or moral, as residing in a person or thing;

(b) "power in action," as, e.g., when put forth in performing miracles. It occurs 118 times in the NT. It is sometimes used of the miracle or sign itself, the effect being put for the cause, e.g., Mar 6:5, frequently in the Gospels and Acts. In 1Cr 14:11 it is rendered "meaning;" "force" would be more accurate.

1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jo 2:17 ASV - And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Babylon is a type of mans flesh Egypt is a type of mans flesh Jericho also was a well fortified city and it also is a type of mans flesh .  When God calls out his people he calls you out completely ,  this is a type and shadow of man trying to serve God and the world .   When God told the children the land was theirs to go and conquer and take the land .   The land here is your flesh and the word says it is an enemy unto God ,  if you choose to live in your flesh the lust of your flesh ,  you will die.    Gal 5:17 ASV - For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:18 ASV - But if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Gal 5:19 ASV - Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal 5:20 ASV - idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, parties,
Gal 5:21 ASV - envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they who practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Man needs the spirit of God living in him to have the power to over come sin , the flesh is weak .

 You must be born of God ! he is the savior of you soul , Jesus said you have not because you ask not.     There is no righteousness of our own ,  unless God build the house you build in vain and the foundation of the gospel is the rock  you build on .  
Mat 11:28 ASV - Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Jhn 14:18 ASV - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you.
Jhn 15:26 ASV - But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me:
The key to your salvation is to surrender at the feet of Jesus ,  stop trying to save your self .
This is the answer      Tit 3:5 ASV - not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,       Eph 2:8 ASV - for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;       The father calls it a rest ,  entering into his rest

1Sa 15:16 ASV - Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what Jehovah hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, Say on.
1Sa 15:17 ASV - And Samuel said, Though thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel? And Jehovah anointed thee king over Israel;
1Sa 15:18 ASV - and Jehovah sent thee on a journey, and said, Go, and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.

1Sa 15:21 ASV - But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the devoted things, to sacrifice unto Jehovah thy God in Gilgal.
1Sa 15:22 ASV - And Samuel said, Hath Jehovah as great delight in burnt-offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Jehovah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
1Sa 15:23 ASV - For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. Because thou hast rejected the word of Jehovah, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
This is a type of people today in their walk unto God ,  they say well just a little bit of the world wont hurt. If I just partake of a little sin God wont mind .   1Co 5:7 ASV - Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, even as ye are unleavened. For our passover also hath been sacrificed, even Christ:
Gal 5:9 ASV - A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump

  Remember Lots wife , they were warned not to look back at what they were leaving , their worldly life all they possessed was in Sodom . God was most merciful to Lot and his family .   Gen 19:15 ASV - And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters that are here, lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
Gen 19:16 ASV - But he lingered; and the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters, Jehovah being merciful unto him; and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.   Lingered = they kept looking at their stuff and their life's in Sodom . Their new house and all the stuff they had amassed everything the world has to offer .   1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.    I know there is a balance here and wisdom is needed to know this truth ,   we need certain things to carry on in this life and the word says the LOVE of money ! not just money but to love it is a root of evil.  Putting these things before God is Idol worship .        Mar 13:14 ASV - But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not (let him that readeth understand), then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains:
Mar 13:15 ASV - and let him that is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out his house:
Mar 13:16 ASV - and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak.
Possession are just what they are , you possess them in your Godly living , being wise to the ungodly mammon and how to distribute what God has given us ,  or we will be possessed by our stuff having unrighteous spiritual ties to this earth .  lots wife was longing and sorrowful for her stuff , she looked back one more time ! 

Gen 19:17 ASV - And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the Plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.  God is always on the mountain he is our safety.
Gen 19:26 ASV - But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Joshua or Jehoshua = "Jehovah is salvation"


JEHOSHUA
WAS A TYPE OF JESUS , HE LED THE CHILDREN INTO THE PROMISE LAND ,MOSES BROUGHT THE LAW  THE LETTER ,THEREFORE WHEN THE TIME WAS RIGHT THE LAW WAS FULFILLED BY A BETTER COVENANT.THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MOSES AND JOSHUA IS MOSES DID NOT ENTER THE PROMISE LAND,  JOSHUA AND CALEB WALKED IN.    THOSE THAT ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN .     1Th 4:17 KJV - Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Zec 4:7 KJV - Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone [thereof with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace unto it.

Mat 17:20 KJV - And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and Nothing shall be Impossible unto you.

 Mountain in this verse is speaking of the carnal nature of man , his flesh as a mountain is something in our way which we must overcome.  Goliath in Davids time was a type of mans carnal nature , and he was stopping David from taking the land . And that would be our souls today , and how did David take out the giant !  in the forehead this is our mind ,will and our emotions . Jesus calls it our cross putting to death our carnal nature on the altar of our sacrifice .     Rom 12:1 ASV - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the Renewing Of Your Mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The word of God is renewing our minds as we read and obey ,   Jas 1:21 ASV - Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

Shealtiel or Salathiel = "I have asked of God"

ZERUBBABEL IS A TYPE OF THE OVER COMING CHURCH,

1Cr 15:42 KJV - So also [is] the resurrection of the( dead.) It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption
THE WORD DEAD IN THE  GREEK2) metaph.

a) spiritually dead

1) destitute of a life that recognizes and is devoted to God, because given up to trespasses and sins

2) inactive as respects doing right

b) destitute of force or power, inactive, inoperative


1Pe 1:23 KJV - Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1Cr 15:47 KJV - The first man [is] of the earth, earthy: the second man [is] the Lord from heaven.

We have an altar to fall on and that altar is our own cross .  And the nature of Adam must die on that cross so the nature of Jesus may become that life giving spirit in our bodies.

1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.      The first Adam fail  but the last Adam Jesus over came and resurrected to newness of life .  
Rev 1:18 ASV - and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.
