Sifted By His Love

Everything precious and sought after that comes out of the earth is sifted in some form or another  from Diamonds to Gold precious metals and jewels etc .   Your father is sifting his children today for the precious fruit of righteousness .  Mat 21:44 ASV - And he that falleth on this stone shall be broken to pieces: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will scatter him as dust.

Mar 1:14 ASV - Now after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God,
Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
1Co 9:18 ASV - What then is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel without charge, so as not to use to the full my right in the gospel.

My question to you this morning is the gospel that Jesus preached to you is it the good news  , has it blessed you and healed you.  1Pe 2:24 ASV - who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.   I want to say salvation is not a one time experience , its an on going walk in the word of God a life time of obedience .   The word says he that over comes shall be saved .  If you confess Jesus as your savior than you must walk as he walked , there is a teaching today that some people have that is believed, once saved always saved.  Now there are many scriptures that say other wise .  To receive Christ as your savior is not a one time confession and that is all you have to do and you are in, everything is fine.   Luk 6:46 ASV - And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?   1Jo 2:6 ASV - he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.

2Co 13:5 ASV - Try your own selves, whether ye are in the faith; prove your own selves. Or know ye not as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed ye be reprobate.
Remember the Pharisees ask Jesus .     Luk 17:20 ASV - And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:     Luk 17:21 ASV - neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.   Jhn 15:4 ASV - Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me.

To sift his children , yes he allows us to be sifted just as Peter was .  John said Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:    Greek: pur  Fire:          of the holiness of God, which consumes all that is inconsistent therewith, Hbr 10:27; 12:29; cp. Rev 1:14; 2:18; 10:1; 15:2; 19:12; similarly of the holy angels as His ministers, Hbr 1:7; in Rev 3:18 it is symbolic of that which tries the faith of saints, producing what will glorify the Lord .    Jhn 15:2 ASV - Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit.
Jhn 15:4 ASV - Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me.     The carnal nature is an enemy to the spirit of God , so we see the works of the flesh are the fruit of our carnallty .  And we also can see if we are chastened of the Lord it is because he Loves us and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit.   In the natural world the practice of pruning is to produce more fruit . That is why the Lord uses the vine as a parable to explain how he is involved in our lifes .
Jhn 15:8 ASV - Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and so shall ye be my
disciples.
Heb 12 AMP   6 For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.

7 You must submit to and endure [correction] for discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons. For what son is there whom his father does not [thus] train and correct and discipline?

8 Now if you are exempt from correction and left without discipline in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate offspring and not true sons [at all].

Rev 3:19 ASV - As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Now as we read the verse that Jesus was telling Peter  ,  Luke 22 : 31-32 NLT   “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat.  But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.”   Godly sorrow is his Love for you,  2 Cor 7-10  NLT    For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.
To Sift a noun   /  an act of sifting something, especially so as to isolate that which is most important or useful .   Out of the heart flows the issues of life , Luk 6:45 ASV - The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
To confess means to speak the same as ,  Jesus said man shall live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God .

There is a sifting coming like no other time in the history of mankind its called tribulation .  Ask your self is tribulation for the lost the unbelievers the anti Christ ,  tribulation is a sifting and chastening from the father of lights who in his great mercy desires to save and heal his people those that believe.  He is a God of Love and Mercy but he is also a God of wrath .  The world says that people that believe this bible literally and hanging on every word with expectation and hope !  they are fools and fanatics .   Jesus said its not the bread alone (food for the body )  you eat that will save your soul its every word breathed by God .
Jhn 3:7 ASV - Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born anew.   It is appointed unto man to die once !!   Heb 9:27 ASV - And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men ONCE to die, and after this cometh judgment;   The flesh must die 1Co 15:53 ASV - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.   and than the judgement !

The second death spoke of in Rev is the death of the soul of man or the judgement of hell fire.
Mat 22:11 ASV - But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:
Mat 22:12 ASV - and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.  This man was not changed he was still in his flesh body , he
still had a body of his carnal nature he was not changed from death into life. Flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom of God . The body Jesus had after his resurrection when he visited the disciples is the same one we shall have when we are changed in that moment of glory.  It is Christ in you the hope of glory .   Mat 22:13 ASV - Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

 Wedding  Greek: gamos

Feast:
"a wedding," especially a wedding "feast" (akin to gameo, "to marry"); it is used in the plural in the following passages (the RV rightly has "marriage feast" for the AV, "marriage," or "wedding"), Mat 22:2, 3, 4, 9 (in verses Mat 22:11, 12, it is used in the singular, in connection with the wedding garment); 25:10; Luk 12:36; 14:8; in the following it signifies a wedding itself, Jhn 2:1, 2; Hbr 13:4; and figuratively in Rev 19:7, of the marriage of the Lamb; in Rev 19:9 it is used in connection with the supper, the wedding supper (or what in English is termed "breakfast"), not the wedding itself, as in ver. 7.
Garment   Greek: enduma

Clothing, Cloths, Clothes, Cloke, Coat:
akin to enduo (see CLOTHE, No. 2), denotes "anything put on, a garment of any kind." It was used of the clothing of ancient prophets, in token of their contempt of earthly splendor, 1Ki 19:13; 2Ki 1:8, RV; Zec 13:4. In the NT it is similarly used of John the Baptist's raiment, Mat 3:4; of raiment in general, Mat 6:25, 28; Luk 12:23; metaphorically, of sheep's clothing, Mat 7:15; of a wedding garment, 22:11, 12; of the raiment of the angel at the tomb of the Lord after His resurrection, 28:3.
1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Co 15:51 ASV - Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 ASV - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Rom 12:1 ASV - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.     Until the word of God came unto us through his mercy we had the mind of our father Adam .  But now that the word of God has come to light every man we have our minds renewed daily by his word it transforms us into his very nature ,   but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Wars And Rumors Of Wars

Isaiah 10 The whole chapter is mandatory for us to read and understand ,  I will bring some of those verses today as a testimony to you that believe .  Your father is in charge he sees all and knows all his word has gone forth and will accomplish his will.    As we approach these final days of the earth we can see the word coming to fruition it will not return to God void .  1Pe 4:7 ASV - But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore of sound mind, and be sober unto prayer:

Luk 21:20 ASV - But when ye see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that her desolation is at hand.
Luk 21:21 ASV - Then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains; and let them that are in the midst of her depart out; and let not them that are in the country enter therein.
Luk 21:22 ASV - For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
Luk 21:27 ASV - And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luk 21:28 ASV - But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; because your redemption draweth nigh.   Today this scripture is being completed and we see it playing out just as the word says .  Jesus said look up, and lift up your heads; because your redemption draweth nigh.   What do you see today all over the world .    Eph 6:12 ASV - For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the World Rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Rev 2:10 ASV - Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.   The flesh profits nothing it is a enemy unto the spirit of God . Mat 16:19 ASV - I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Rev 1:18 ASV - and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.    Mat 10:28 ASV - And be not afraid of them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Mat 10:29 ASV - Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father:
Mat 10:30 ASV - but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Mat 10:31 ASV - Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Isaiah 10-15        Shall the ax boast itself against him who chops with it? Or shall the saw magnify itself against him who wields it back and forth? As if a rod should wield those who lift it up, or as if a staff should lift itself up as if it were not wood [but a man of God]!   The men today in charge of the nations of this earth , they are the tools of God in Isaiah 10-15 and God uses them as he wills .   John 3:27 ASV - John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it have been given him from heaven.

Your father is sovereign over evil ,   Isa 45:7 ASV - I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil. I am Jehovah, that doeth all these things.
People speak of the antichrist as something to be feared  something ominous . The word above says your father created this evil ,  if God be for us who shall be against us .
1Jo 4:17 KJV - Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
1Jo 4:18 KJV - There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
1Jo 4:19 KJV - We love him, because he first loved us.
Rev 12:10 ASV - And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuseth them before our God day and night.
Rev 12:11 ASV - And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.

  Neh 7:6 ASV - These are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and that returned unto Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;
Neh 7:7 ASV - who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

Zerubbabel = "sown in Babylon"

Joshua or Jehoshua = "Jehovah is salvation"

Babylon is the carnal world the world Lot lived in just before fire fell from heaven and consumed it with fire and brimstone .  The world Noah lived in  Heb 11:7 ASV - By faith Noah, being warned of God concerning things not seen as yet, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.   The ark being Jesus the bread of life the manna that came from heaven , the tablets the fulfilling of the law ,  Aarons rod ,  the rod of correction the word made flesh and dwelling in us .  We were born in Babylon born of Adam captive to our carnal flesh .  But than we see in Nehemiah above a type and a shadow of our deliverance coming   Zerubbael  sown in babylon but delivered by Joshua a type and shadow of Jesus coming for us to deliver us as in  Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,   He is speaking of you and I we were the captives the poor the blind the spiritually dead .

Jhn 1:4 ASV - In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Jhn 1:9 ASV - There was the true light, even the light which lighteth every man, coming into the world.
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

The word for Assyrians below is speaking of spiritual Babylon

Isaiah 10
16 Therefore will the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send leanness among [the Assyrian’s] fat ones; and instead of his glory or under it He will kindle a burning like the burning of fire.

17 And the Light of Israel shall become a fire and His Holy One a flame, and it will [a]burn and devour [the Assyrian’s] thorns and briers in one day.

32 This very day [the Assyrian] will halt at Nob [the city of priests], shaking his fist at the mountain of the Daughter of Zion, at the hill of Jerusalem.

33 [But just when the Assyrian is in sight of his goal] behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, will lop off the beautiful boughs with terrorizing force; the high in stature will be hewn down and the lofty will be brought low.

34 And He will cut down the thickets of the forest with an ax, and Lebanon [the Assyrian] with its majestic trees shall fall by the Mighty One and mightily.

Isaiah 10:17 During a single night this prophecy was fulfilled, when “the Angel of the Lord went forth and slew 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians; and when the living arose early in the morning, behold, all these were dead bodies” (II Kings 19:35)—just when their victory over God’s people had seemed certain.

Psa 91:1 ASV - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:2 ASV - I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.
Psa 91:3 ASV - For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence.
Psa 91:4 ASV - He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler.
Psa 91:6 ASV - For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Psa 91:7 ASV - A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee.
Psa 91:8 ASV - Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked.

We are living in the most wonderful time in history , we are seeing the fulfilling of prophecy being
made visible  to the world .   Having eyes to see and ears to hear !

Rev 1:17 ASV - And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as one dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last,
Rev 1:18 ASV - and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

Rev 7:14 ASV - And I say unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Rev 7:15 ASV - Therefore are they before the throne of God; and they serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them.
Rev 7:16 ASV - They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun strike upon them, nor any heat:
Rev 7:17 ASV - for the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne shall be their shepherd, and shall guide them unto fountains of waters of life: and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Luk 21:9 ASV - And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified: for these things must needs come to pass first; but the end is not immediately.
Luk 21:10 ASV - Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;
Luk 21:11 ASV - and there shall be great earthquakes, and in divers places famines and pestilences; and there shall be terrors and great signs from heaven.
Luk 21:14 ASV - Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate beforehand how to answer:
Luk 21:15 ASV - for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to withstand or to gainsay.
Luk 21:18 ASV - And not a hair of your head shall perish.
Luk 21:19 ASV - In your patience ye shall win your souls.
