The Veil Of Flesh

2Co 3:15 ASV - But unto this day, whensoever Moses is read, a veil lieth upon their heart.
2Co 3:16 ASV - But whensoever it shall turn to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
2Co 3:17 ASV - Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.  2Co 3:18 ASV - But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.
2Co 3:15 ASV - But unto this day, whensoever Moses is read, a veil lieth upon their heart.
I realize that the Jews were branches broken off of the spiritual olive tree so we could be grafted in .  But a day is coming when they shall be grafted back into that same olive tree , Jesus being that root of the tree

Exo 34:35 ASV - And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the veil upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
Moses was transfigured on the mount with God , he was with God for forty days and forty nights . And received the the tablets of the Law from God to put before the people .  When Moses came down with the tablets he was changed .   
Exo 34:29 ASV - And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of the testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses knew not that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him.

Exo 34:30 ASV - And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.
Exo 34:31 ASV - And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses spake to them.
Exo 34:32 ASV - And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that Jehovah had spoken with him in mount Sinai.
Exo 34:33 ASV - And when Moses had done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.
What does the veil represent here , the flesh it is a spiritual condition of man . Listen not only did his face shine but his whole body.  Mose knew God his father and it says he spoke to him face to face . Exo 30:33 Moses went from being a man of weakness in his flesh to a minister of faith to the children .
The veil is the carnal nature of man and it keeps man from God ,  the children were frighten when they saw Moses because he represented the full nature of Gods plan.  Moses was a type and a shadow of Christ leading his people out of a wilderness into the kingdom of his father. Even today people deny the spiritual and except the carnal , Paul in 1Cor 15 calls it a corruptible nature  holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away.
1Co 2:14 ASV - Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.
When the day of Pentecost had came and the people spoke with other tongues and manifested the power of the Holy Ghost. This was the promise Jesus spoke of before he went to his cross, not only did he die for you and I he made it possible for you to be endued with power from on high . There is more than just hoping in Christ .  There is an abiding in you where Christ comes to abide in you    How does Jesus abide in you how do you know he is in you and working his will in you .
Rom 8:9 ASV - But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. But if any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.  Jhn 15:26 ASV - But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me:
Jhn 14:17 ASV - even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.
The veil was removed when Jesus was crucified for you , the veil was what separates the people from the father .     The priest himself must follow the order of commandants to enter in behind the veil to make sacrifice for the sins of himself and the people .  When Jesus died the veil was torn in two , opened wide and through his sacrifice made us a way unto the father . Heb 10:19 ASV - Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,
Heb 10:20 ASV - by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
Heb 10:21 ASV - and having a great priest over the house of God;


 The veil was made of animal skins dyed red .  What separates man from God is his carnal nature his fleshly living.   Jesus died physically upon the cross but we die spiritually every day upon our cross  the cross of suffering for his names sake.  When Moses came down from the mount with the commandants of stone , he was changed his life was changed for ever . It says when they looked upon Moses is caused them to fear ,  this is a spiritual truth an understanding of what the cross will do for every man if he gets on his cross and stays there , He will die to himself his carnal nature and be conformed unto the image of Christ .  I believe that when Moses was transformed into a body of light he was changed from the inside out his heart was transformed .  And Moses is a type and shadow for us to look to , we to must die to self and take the light of Gods word into our hearts and be transformed in the image of Christ his character his very nature .   1Jo 3:1 ASV - Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.
Col 1:26 ASV - even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,
Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Everything I have spoken about in this blog is based totally on the word of God its like Jesus told Nicodimus its like the wind you hear it and feel it but you cant see it nor know what direction it is going .   Jhn 3:8 ASV - The wind bloweth where it will, and thou hearest the voice thereof, but knowest not whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
You must be born again born of the promise Jesus spoke about he said he ask the father to give this promise to you.  
Luk 24:49 ASV - And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.
Act 1:4 ASV - and, being assembled together with them, he charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, said he, ye heard from me:
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.

Gen 32:24 ASV - And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
Gen 32:25 ASV - And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was strained, as he wrestled with him.
Gen 32:26 ASV - And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
Gen 32:27 ASV - And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
Gen 32:28 ASV - And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for thou hast striven with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
This is a wonderful story of holding on to Gods word and believing the power of his word for our life's .  This was a place that Jacob saw coming a long way off , he realized he was going to face the Lord some day soon . He was a man of many talents but they were all of his own doing . He was called the supplanter and a schemer  Gen 32:22 ASV - And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two handmaids, and his eleven children, and passed over the ford of the Jabbok.   Jabbok = "emptying" and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
Jacob said I will not let go until you bless me. ( or change me) . John the baptist came preaching repentance and John had to come before Jesus could come .  Without repentance no man can see God .    Mat 3:8 ASV - Bring forth therefore fruit worthy of repentance: Having a change of mind .  2Co 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. With the heart man believes unto God     Rom 10:10 ASV - for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.    Jacob wanted the promise of a blessing from God . He said I will not let go until you bless me .  To die to self on our cross is a blessing of salvation , Jacob not only was crippled in his physical body he was changed in his spirit he was a changed person when he crossed Jabbock and met Easu . He gave up all the things he had amassed in his previous life to Easu as a gift , he had a change of mind and wanted Gods blessing .   1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.   Gen 32:28 ASV - And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for thou hast striven with God and with men, and hast prevailed.      Israel = "God prevails"

For give me if I seem to ramble on I want to point you to the only source of life in this earth , Jesus
he is the remedy for all our problems .  If you have the Holy Ghost and he abides in you than I encourage you to press on to the mark of the high calling of God your father . Stay the course and continue on in this holy walk he has called you to.  
2Th 1:4 ASV - so that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which ye endure;
2Th 1:5 ASV - which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God; to the end that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
2Th 1:6 ASV - if so be that it is righteous thing with God to recompense affliction to them that afflict you,
2Th 1:7 ASV - and to you that are afflicted rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the angels of his power in flaming fire,

To those of you who are not sure if you have received this wonderful promise of the Holy Ghost
Than fall on the rock of Jesus and ask him to fill you with the Holy Spirit and with fire .  You need to be born again just like Jacob , born of God .
