Bound To The Earth With Worldly Things
1Jo 2:14 ASV - I have written unto you, fathers, because ye know him who is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the evil one.
1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. World Greek: kosmos Adorn, Adorning: by metonymy, the "human race, mankind," e.g., Mat 5:14; Jhn 1:9 [here "that cometh (RV, 'coming') into the world" is said of Christ, not of "every man;" by His coming into the world He was the light for all men]; Jhn 3:10; 3:16, 17 (thrice), Jhn 3:19; 4:42, and frequently in Rom., 1 Cor., and 1 John; the whole circle of earthly goods, endowments riches, advantages, pleasures, etc, which although hollow and frail and fleeting, stir desire, seduce from God and are obstacles to the cause of Christ and to the cross of Christ .
Phl 3:18 ASV - For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Phl 3:19 ASV - whose end is perdition, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.
Phl 3:20 ASV - For our citizenship is in heaven; whence also we wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Phl 3:21 ASV - who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, that it may be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things unto himself.
Religion is an enemy of the cross it puts the innocent to sleep with false hope , like the man at the wedding who had not a wedding garment on. There is only one gospel that is the gospel that Christ preached here on earth , and gave to his disciples . The gospel is here today and people of God are preaching this truth , it is the true word of God
Mat 22:9 ASV - Go ye therefore unto the partings of the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage feast.
Mat 22:10 ASV - And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests. Both bad and good ! But yet there was one who was rejected when the master entered in and saw this one man still in his carnal flesh. Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints . You must see here that living this word obeying the gospel and walking in true repentance is that wedding garment . Repent is to have a change of mind to desire to live holy we can hide sin from man but God see's all things. As to the good and the bad ? according to the word we never had any righteousness of our own we were all born into sin and have a great need for a Savior . At the wedding feast one was rejected why ? because he was told by apostate leaders he was fine he is alright , religion has told many that they are fine just keep do the things you are doing you will be alright . Jhn 10:12 ASV - He that is a hireling, and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, beholdeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth, and the wolf snatcheth them, and scattereth them:
Jhn 10:13 ASV - he fleeth because he is a hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
Hireling Greek: misthotos Hired Servant, Hireling:
an adjective denoting "hired," is used as a noun, signifying "one who is hired," "hired servants," Mar 1:20; "hireling," Jhn 10:12, 13; here, it expresses, not only one who has no real interest in his duty (that may or may not be present in its use in Mar 1:20, and in misthios, No. 2), but one who is unfaithful in the discharge of it; that sense attaches always to the word rendered "hireling."
They were never called to be a pastor they were not given the gift from Christ to Sheppard his sheep.
Doctrines of devils apostate lies are you alright are you truly saved , what does the word say about us . When the people ask Peter on the day of Pentecost when convicted of their sin. What must we do to be SAVED! There hearts were pricked by Godly sorrow. And Peter gave them a commandant of how to be saved.
Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Repent have a change of mind , be baptized and if you do these two things with an honest heart you will receive the GIFT of Holy Spirit . Col 2:12 ASV - having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him. This being the later rain the same Holy Spirit that came on the disciples in Acts 2 is that spirit of God for you today. To all that believe in his name
Mat 22:11 ASV - But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:
Mat 22:12 ASV - and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless. Now we see here that this man had no answer for not possessing the wedding garments of the saints . Rev 19:8 And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Many are called but few are chosen . We have been called to this marriage feast and as to how we choose to obey this calling we will be chosen or rejected . And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen , it was given because of their faithful righteous living . Religion is an enemy to the cross of Christ , Jhn 6:55 ASV - For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. The word of God became flesh and his blood is his very nature who he is the way the truth and the life for the life of the flesh is in the blood.
Luk 13:25 ASV - When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not whence ye are; The master says I do not know who's family you are from. If you were from Gods family you would look like him . Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Man must lose his identity to this earth and be born again of Gods spirit .
1Co 15:44 ASV - it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Co 15:53 ASV - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
With out the baptism of the Holy Ghost you will not have the ability the grace to live righteously Gods wisdom comes from him and he must be living in you to direct you in his wisdom. Religion says there is no Holy Spirit given today as in the days of Pentecost . Jesus said I must go away so that you can receive the promise of the Holy Spirit. He died for you to receive that wonderful power . Act 1:8 ASV - But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. This uttermost is not speaking of the far corners of the earth no it is speaking that this gift will be given unto the end of all things the end of ages.
Uttermost Greek: eschatos End, Ending:
"last, utmost, extreme," is used as a noun (a) of time, rendered "end" in Hbr 1:2, RV, "at the end of these days," i.e., at the "end" of the period under the Law, for AV, "in these last days;" so in 1Pe 1:20, "at the end of the times." In 2Pe 2:20, the plural, ta eschata, lit., "the last things," is rendered "the latter end," AV, (RV, "the last state"); the same phrase is used in Mat 12:45; Luk 11:26;
For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him. So here is the truth even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Even to the end of the age's yes you can have this experience just as in the book of Acts be filled with the Holy Spirit just as Jesus told Nicodemus you must be born again to see Gods kingdom . Luk 17:20 ASV - And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 ASV - neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you. Rom 14:17 ASV - for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Jhn 18:36 ASV - Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Its not about our flesh its about doing the will of God in our life's , you must see this truth in the spirit not in the flesh . Eating and drinking is feeding the flesh the old carnal man , but righteousness peace and joy is feeding the soul your new man .
Mat 22:13 ASV - Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
Mat 22:14 ASV - For many are called, but few chosen.
Rev 19:7 KJV - Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8 KJV - And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
Rev 19:9 KJV - And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Mat 22:11 ASV - But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:
Mat 22:12 ASV - and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.
Mat 22:13 ASV - Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
Mat 22:14 ASV - For many are called, but few chosen.
1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jo 2:17 ASV - And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1Pe 1:9 ASV - receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
1Pe 1:10 ASV - Concerning which salvation the prophets sought and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
1Pe 1:11 ASV - searching what time or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did point unto, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow them.
1Pe 1:12 ASV - To whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced unto you through them that preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Spirit sent forth from heaven; which things angel desire to look into.
1 Peter 1 10 The prophets, who prophesied of the grace (divine blessing) which was intended for you, searched and inquired earnestly about this salvation.
11 They sought [to find out] to whom or when this was to come which the Spirit of Christ working within them was indicating when He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that should follow [them].
12 It was then disclosed to them that the services they were rendering were not meant for themselves and their period of time, but for you. [It is these very] things which have now already been made known plainly to you by those who preached the good news (the Gospel) to you by the [same] Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Into these things [the very] angels long to look!
There will be no excuse for ignorance to this word , it is the only bright light in a dark world
Having not on the wedding garments he was speechless .

Lest Coming Suddenly He Find You Sleeping.
Mar 13:35 ASV - Watch therefore: for ye know not when the lord of the house cometh, whether at even, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning;
Greek: oikia House:
metaphorically, the heavenly abode, spoken of by the Lord as "My Father's house," Jhn 14:2, the eternal dwelling place of believers; the body as the dwelling place of the soul, 2Cr 5:1; similarly the resurrection body of believers . Your body is the temple of the Lords this is speaking about the condition of our souls.
Mar 13:36 ASV - lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
Greek: katheudo Asleep, Sleep: of carnal indifference to spiritual things on the part of believers, Eph 5:14; 1Th 5:6, 10 (as in Mar 13:36), a condition of insensibility to Divine things involving conformity to the world
The battle is for our minds and we have the power over our flesh and over the evil that comes to destory . Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Jesus said fear not I have overcome the world he has handed us the keys to the kingdom . So now we have the power over all the enemy and nothing shall harms us. But be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, I ask the Lord how can I renew my mind Lord and he answer By My Word . Heb 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart. I see here that a two edged sword has a double purpose It is our defense and protector , and it also cuts away at our flesh and revels the dark side of our souls . There is a time in our walk when we are no longer baby's in the Lord we have to learn to walk and stand erect in our life. This is where the word of God becomes alive and active as we take his word deep into our hearts it becomes our very nature we desire to be righteous and upright . So the word begins to transform our minds into that purpose that God sent it . And by this transformation of our mind we will be able to prove Gods will for our selfs.
Jesus said why do you call me Lord ,Lord and do not what I say. And piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit . Our spirit before we are saved is the nature of Adam , and in Adam we live under his curse from the garden. 1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Rom 6:7 ASV - for he that hath died is justified from sin. It is as peter says having a clear conscience unto God , not the washing of the flesh being determined to rise above this world and all its evil. The water is a symbol of the grave and we are buried with him Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
1Pe 3:21 ASV - which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ; With Adam we had his natural DNA of this world nature of the flesh, the word of God has come to change our DNA Spiritually, to the renewing of your mind there for as the word says Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to BECOME children of God, even to them that believe on his name: by the renewing of our minds
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. This is where we are transformed daily being born again , surrendering to this word and saving of our souls .
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.
Jesus said the kingdom of God can not be seen , because the kingdom in within you .
Jas 1:21 ASV - Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. Implanted Greek: emphutos implanted," or "rooted" (from emphuo, "to implant"), is used in Jam 1:21, RV, "implanted," for AV, "engrafted," of the Word of God, as the "rooted word," i.e., a word whose property it is to root itself like a seed in the heart. "The AV seems to identify it with emphuteuton, which however would be out of place here, since the word is sown, not grafted, in the heart The word of God is our power and strength as in the new nature, which belongs to the believer by reason of the new birth, Rom 7:23, 25, where it is contrasted with "the flesh," the principle of evil which dominates fallen man. 2Th 2:2, where it stands for the determination to be steadfast amidst afflictions, through the confident expectation of the day of rest and recompense mentioned in the first chapter.
Mar 13:5 ASV - And Jesus began to say unto them, Take heed that no man lead you astray.
Mar 13:9 ASV - But take ye heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in synagogues shall ye be beaten; and before governors and kings shall ye stand for my sake, for a testimony unto them.
Mar 13:10 ASV - And the gospel must first be preached unto all the nations.
Mar 13:11 ASV - And when they lead you to judgment, and deliver you up, be not anxious beforehand what ye shall speak: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye; for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit.
Mar 13:12 ASV - And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child; and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.
Mar 13:13 ASV - And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.
Mar 13:14 ASV - But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not (let him that readeth understand), then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains:
Mar 13:15 ASV - and let him that is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out his house:
Mar 13:16 ASV - and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak.
Mar 13:19 ASV - For those days shall be tribulation, such as there hath not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never shall be.
Mar 13:26 ASV - And then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
Mar 13:27 ASV - And then shall he send forth the angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
Mar 13:29 ASV - even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that he is nigh, even at the doors.
Mar 13:36 ASV - lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
Jas 1:14 ASV - but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.
Jas 1:15 ASV - Then the lust, when it hath conceived, beareth sin: and the sin, when it is fullgrown, bringeth forth death.
2Co 10:5 ASV - casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;
Luk 21:34 ASV - But take heed to yourselves, lest haply your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day come on you suddenly as a snare:
Luk 21:35 ASV - for so shall it come upon all them that dwell on the face of all the earth.
Luk 21:36 ASV - But watch ye at every season, making supplication, that ye may prevail to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Luk 21:25 KJV - And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luk 21:26 KJV - Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luk 21:27 KJV - And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luk 21:28 KJV - And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Eph 6:12 ASV - For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Col 3:2 ASV - Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.
1Pe 1:13 ASV - Wherefore girding up the loins of your mind, be sober and set your hope perfectly on the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
2Co 11:3 ASV - But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity and the purity that is toward Christ.

That Which He Thinketh He Hath
1Co 2:12 ASV - But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13 ASV - Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Spirit teacheth; combining spiritual things with spiritual words.
1Co 2:14 ASV - Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.
Luk 8:18 ASV - Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he thinketh he hath. There is only one way to see the spiritual understanding of this verse. Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God! Kingdom Greek: basileia "The fundamental principle of the Kingdom is declared in the words of the Lord spoken in the midst of a company of Pharisees, "the Kingdom of God is in the midst of you," Luk 17:21, marg., that is, where the King is, there is the Kingdom. Thus at the present time and so far as this earth is concerned, where the King is and where His rule is acknowledged, is, first, in the heart of the individual believer of the royal power and dignity conferred on Christians in the Messiah's kingdom.
Jhn 18:36 ASV - Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Let us go back to Luke 8:18 The kingdom here is the son ship of Gods calling to those he calls to himself , It is very plain that with out the Holy Spirit in us we can never know the will of God in our life's. You must realize Jesus had to die for you to receive the spirit of truth . It is the very basic beginning of your christian walk , to be filled with the power of God through his spirit. It came with a price a ransom was paid for man kind to enter into this kingdom. Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he thinketh he hath. Col 1:26 ASV - even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,
Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Col 1:28 ASV - whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ;
Perfect Greek: teleios
Age:
"complete, perfect," from telos, "an end," is translated "of full age" in Hbr 5:14, AV (RV, "fullgrown man") consummate human integrity and virtue of men full grown, adult, of full age, mature
There is a condition here of receiving the fullness of God the father . Nicodemus heard that conditional truth. Jhn 3:3 ASV - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Jesus says here that a man cannot see the spiritual blessing of Gods plan for them with out the Holy Spirit living in them.
Born anew Greek: gennao Beget, Bear (Of Begetting), Born:
Of God making men his sons through faith in Christ's work in the writings of the Apostle John, of the gracious act of God in conferring upon those who believe the nature and disposition of "children," imparting to them spiritual life, Jhn 3:3, 5, 7; 1Jo 2:29; 3:9; 4:7; 5:1, 4, 18;
Jhn 3:6 ASV - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Jhn 3:7 ASV - Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born anew.
Jhn 3:8 ASV - The wind bloweth where it will, and thou hearest the voice thereof, but knowest not whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Nicodemus was looking at this great truth with the eyes of the flesh , Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Nicodemus was looking at this truth in the flesh , that is why Jesus said Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he thinketh he hath . What he thinketh he has , there is only one gospel and it is this truth . The beginning of your Christian walk the very first thing we must do is to be filled with the Holy Spirit , not as the traditional church practice but according to the gospel of Jesus . John had to come before Jesus he had to being repentance to the people without repentance no man can know God or be saved . To make you paths straight is to repent and turn from sin , be born again . John was preparing the way for Jesus to come unto us , John was preparing your heart for Jesus to come unto you. John said I baptize with water but he that is coming after me HE ! shall baptize you
with the Holy Spirit and with FIRE ! With this repentance Jesus comes through the Holy Ghost to abide in you he is the one who gives the spirit . You need his presence in you to go through the fire
Greek: pur
Fire:
of the holiness of God, which consumes all that is inconsistent therewith, Hbr 10:27; 12:29; cp. Rev 1:14; 2:18; 10:1; 15:2; 19:12; similarly of the holy angels as His ministers, Hbr 1:7; in Rev 3:18 it is symbolic of that which tries the faith of saints, producing what will glorify the Lord; (b) of the Divine judgment, testing the deeds of believers, at the judgment seat of Christ, 1Cr 3:13, 15 John 3:16 and than Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire: Peter said Acts 2-38 repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the Remission of your sins and you shall receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit .
John 3:16 is believing on the name of Jesus repenting for your sins and Luke 3:16 is following through with your repentance asking the Lord to come with his spirit and fill you with his power .
Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation. To preach the gospel
Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned. Baptism is not just a symbolic act it is a matter of you heart , Rom 6 says it all
Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
1Pe 3:20 ASV - that aforetime were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water:
1Pe 3:21 ASV - which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;
To turn from your sinful life and be broken and repentant in your heart. Jesus said unless you repent and be baptized in his name you can not be saved. Rom 6:1 ASV - What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 ASV - God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein?
Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
1Pe 3:20 ASV - that aforetime were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water:
1Pe 3:21 ASV - which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ; Mat 3:2 ASV - Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Greek: metanoeo Repent, Repentance: lit., "to perceive afterwards" (meta, "after," implying "change," noeo, "to perceive;" nous, "the mind, the seat of moral reflection"), in contrast to pronoeo, "to perceive beforehand," hence signifies "to change one's mind or purpose," always, in the NT, involving a change for the better, an amendment, and always, except in Luk 17:3, 4, of "repentance" from sin. The word is found in the Synoptic Gospels (in Luke, nine times), in Acts five times, in the Apocalypse twelve times, eight in the messages to the churches, Rev 2:5 (twice), 16, 21 (twice), RV, "she willeth not to repent" (2nd part); Rev 3:3, 19
Act 19:1 ASV - And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper country came to Ephesus, and found certain disciples:
Act 19:2 ASV - and he said unto them, Did ye receive the Holy Spirit when ye believed? And they said unto him, Nay, we did not so much as hear whether the Holy Spirit was given.
Act 19:3 ASV - And he said, Into what then were ye baptized? And they said, Into John's baptism.
Act 19:4 ASV - And Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people that they should believe on him that should come after him, that is, on Jesus.
Act 19:5 ASV - And when they heard this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
Act 19:6 ASV - And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Act 19:7 ASV - And they were in all about twelve men.
Luk 8:19 ASV - And there came to him his mother and brethren, and they could not come at him for the crowd.
Luk 8:20 ASV - And it was told him, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.
Luk 8:21 ASV - But he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these that hear the word of God, and do it.
Luk 13:18 ASV - He said therefore, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I liken it?
Luk 13:19 ASV - It is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his own garden; and it grew, and became a tree; and the birds of the heaven lodged in the branches thereof.
Luk 13:20 ASV - And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?
Luk 13:21 ASV - It is like unto leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till it was all leavened. The holy spirit is that power to change , only by his spirit in us can we see with his eyes . There is an absolute baptism of the spirit not as the church of today teaches , the true gospel is not preached as the scripture I bring to you you must be born again of God spirit just as in the book of Acts on the day of Pentecost . You can not save yourself there is nothing we can do to be saved but believe and repent . You do not get Gods spirit because you confess Jesus as you personal savior . What has the word reveled here ! repentance and baptism and you will receive the holy ghost. And it is an actual experience of Gods love for you there is a baptism here Jesus said it unless you are born again , how are we born again . Act 2:36 ASV - Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
Act 1:22 ASV - beginning from the baptism of John, unto the day that he was received up from us, of these must one become a witness with us of his resurrection.
There will be no resurrection of the body unless the fullness of the gospel rest in you . Luk 8:18 ASV - Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he thinketh he hath.
Mat 11:15 ASV - He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Luk 8:8 ASV - And other fell into the good ground, and grew, and brought forth fruit a hundredfold. As he said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Jesus is not speaking of the natural sense of hearing with your flesh , he is speaking of hearing the word of God by his spirit .
Jas 1:23 ASV - For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror:
Jas 1:24 ASV - for he beholdeth himself, and goeth away, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
Jas 1:25 ASV - But he that looketh into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and so continueth, being not a hearer that forgetteth but a doer that worketh, this man shall be blessed in his doing.
