Appearing A Second Time

 Heb 9:28  AMP       So Christ, having been offered once and once for all to bear [as a burden] the sins of many, will appear a second time [when he returns to earth], not to deal with sin, but to bring salvation to those who are eagerly and confidently waiting for Him.   Now is the time to deal with our sins to fall on our cross and seek the Lord while he may be found .  Once we die it is finished and the book of our life is over .  There is no guarantee of another day or week to live
If we live or we die it is unto God he holds our breath .

Heb 9:27 ASV - And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this cometh judgment;       2Co 5:10 ASV - For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Heb 9:28 ASV - so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.


 While we are yet alive and walking this earth, we have opportunity to come before the Lord to make right what is not in agreement with his word concerning our souls .  Jhn 12:47 ASV - And if any man hear my sayings, and keep them not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Jhn 12:48 ASV - He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my sayings, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I spake, the same shall judge him in the last day.   If we are called by God than he deals with us as children according to his calling .   It says in verse 28 Christ will appear a second time [when he returns to earth], not to deal with sin, but to bring salvation to those who are eagerly and confidently waiting for Him.  When Christ was on his cross and was very near death he said It is finished ,   he was victorious in his mission he finished his fathers will . Jesus said Jhn 4:34 ASV - Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to accomplish his work.
Jhn 4:32 ASV - But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not.
Jhn 4:34 ASV - Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to accomplish his work. 
Rom 14:17 ASV - for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.  We eat to live we do not live to eat its a matter of having power over the flesh .  I am talking about mastering the the flesh and its desires, Jesus said when you fast !  not if you fast and fasting is as the word says . It is a time when we hide not ourselfs from our own flesh 
What better way to see ourselfs in the spirit than to fast a while with the intention of seeing ourselfs as the Lord sees us   .  Fasting is a way of humbling ourselfs before God .  Pride and arrogance speaks out loud , humility speaks to the inner man . And God has a way to humble his children if they are willing to be humbled .     2Co 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 
Sorrow Greek: lupe   Grief, Grieve:
signifies "pain," of body or mind; it is used in the plural in 1Pe 2:19 that ye were made sorry after a godly sort .   
Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
Jhn 16:8 ASV - And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:    Man in his flesh is incapable of knowing the mind of God and his righteousness ,  but God through his spirit can and will convict us of our sin ,  even our ignorance of sin in our lifes .   The verse above says the Godly sorrow brings regret and only by his spirit in us can we walk in this regret truly sorry for our trespasses and sin against his word. 
 We must always remember that John said that Jesus was coming after him and he will baptize you with the holy spirit and with fire!    Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:
Greek: pur Fire: of the holiness of God, which consumes all that is inconsistent therewith, Hbr 10:27; 12:29; cp. Rev 1:14; 2:18; 10:1; 15:2; 19:12; similarly of the holy angels as His ministers, Hbr 1:7; in Rev 3:18 it is symbolic of that which tries the faith of saints, producing what will glorify the Lord .  What we do right now in our life and this calling of God , as to how we live and obey the word . This is it there is no second chances it is appointed unto man once to die and than the judgement .  And Jesus died once for all man kind it is finished .  
Heb 9:28 ASV - so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.    
He is coming again and this time it will be for those who are obedient to his calling , waiting on him is living for him . Letting the fire of God cleanse us from all defilement , the flesh that was burned up in the he old sacrifices according to the old law was a sign of total surrender . It says that God savored the smell of burning flesh ,   Eph 5:2 ASV - and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.
By putting to death the deeds of our flesh we are offering up our bodies as a living sacrifice 
Rom 12:1 ASV - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
 So Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.    Jesus is not coming for our flesh Paul says in 1 Cor 15 That flesh and blood shall not in inherit the kingdom of God .   So what is Christ coming for in them that wait unto salvation ,   the fruit of son ship to bare the fruit of Christ
Rom 8:29 ASV - For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:
1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
2Co 4:4 ASV - in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn upon them.
Col 1:25 ASV - whereof I was made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which was given me to you-ward, to fulfil the word of God,
Col 1:26 ASV - even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,
Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:    That the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God .
Phl 3:9 ASV - and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:
Phl 3:10 ASV - that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;  Be not conformed unto this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is the perfect will of God in your life .  This word will renew your mind the word of God will transform you into that Image of Christ the hope of your glory . We must stay on our cross keeping our carnal nature on this cross Jesus spoke about so often.
Phl 3:11 ASV - if by any means I may attain unto the resurrection from the dead.

Isa 53:10 ASV - Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.
Isa 53:11 ASV - He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by the knowledge of himself shall my righteous servant justify many; and he shall bear their iniquities.
