Let Them Measure The Pattern

Luk 7:29 ASV - And all the people when they heard, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John. 
And what was the baptism of John ,  you see the church today is just as the days of Christ walking and manifesting his father to the people . Just was sent of God to show the house to the house .    Eze 43:10 ASV - Thou, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.
Eze 43:11 ASV - And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, make known unto them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the egresses thereof, and the entrances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof; and write it in their sight; that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.  Jesus is that pattern to follow he is the pattern son.
Water baptism is the way the truth and the life , its Jesus and him crucified .  The putting to death of the carnal flesh ,  its says he came in the likeness of sinful flesh . 
Rom 8:3 ASV - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 7:5 ASV - For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were through the law, wrought in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.  This is the promise of the father to all mankind , Even before the old covenant God made a covenant that could not be broken a covenant with all man kind ,  through Abraham a promise of everlasting life .
Gal 3:8 ASV - And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all the nations be blessed.

Luk 7:30 ASV - But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected for themselves the counsel of God, being NOT baptized of him.   Rom 8:3 ASV - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:   John had to come before Jesus there had to be true repentance of a mans heart before God can bring salvation to him.   Luk 7:23 ASV - And blessed is he, whosoever shall find no occasion of stumbling in me.    "to stumble," or "cause to stumble .
Luk 7:26 ASV - But what went ye out to see? a prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.
Luk 7:27 ASV - This is he of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, Who shall prepare thy way before thee.   If you read the gospels closely you will see where Jesus sent the disciples out before him to go and prepair the way for his coming , servants just as John .  John is saying what ever the road is to your heart what ever the cause of stumbling in your walk is. There is a true repentance to endure , with out this true repentance no man shall see God .   2Co 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.   Godly sorrow is a gift from God , who can know sin unless we are convicted by his word .   Sorrow of the world is not repentance it is Greek: ametameletos  Regret: "not repented of" .  So we see here that regret has no power unto salvation . Because it comes through the flesh the carnal mind and not from a repentant heart .   God the father sends his sorrow to convict man of his lawless ways his sin , it is the calling of God upon mankind . There is only one way unto the father it is Christ and him crucified .  People that struggle with sin they constant come forward
at the altar but never coming to a true cleansing of the heart . They want there sin and Gods blessing ,  Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  To die here by living after the flesh is a slow death as far as the curse of sin in a mans life.  That through sin the curse of Adam came and it will rest upon every man not under the blood of the cross of Christ .   The word here but if we stay on our cross and suffer the death of our carnal flesh we shall live .
But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected for themselves the counsel of God , There are still men in the church today that are practitioners of doubt and unbelief .  Some in ignorance and some in the full knowledge of there evil ways.  When I first came to the understanding that Gods word is absolute and true . I ask one day in prayer for direction to this truth who Lord is right as far as doctrine and faith, show me so I can align myself to them and be worthy of my calling .  And he spoke to my mind and said who son am I , so thinking hard about this question and who he was . I answered him you are the Christ the anointed of the father you are the lord of glory.  And he spoke again and said that is right that is who you follow and believe , not religion . And than this word came as I read one day. 
1Co 1:12 ASV - Now this I mean, that each one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos: and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
1Co 1:13 ASV - Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized into the name of Paul?
1Co 1:18 ASV - For the word of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God.

1Co 3:4 ASV - For when one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not men?
1Co 3:5 ASV - What then is Apollos? and what is Paul? Ministers through whom ye believed; and each as the Lord gave to him.
1Co 3:6 ASV - I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
1Co 3:7 ASV - So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
1Co 3:8 ASV - Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.
1Co 3:9 ASV - For we are God's fellow-workers: ye are God's husbandry, God's building.

The word of God will never fail you ,   Rom 3:4 ASV - God forbid: yea, let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, And mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment.

But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected for themselves the counsel of God  , Rejected the counsel of God . 
1Co 6:9 ASV - Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men,
1Co 15:33 ASV - Be not deceived: Evil companionships corrupt good morals.
Gal 6:7 ASV - Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Jesus as the sower of the seed in Matt 13 was sowing the word of God into the hearts of men , But we must also remember the parable of the tares that were sown in the hearts of men also . 
Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
Jhn 16:8 ASV - And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Jhn 16:9 ASV - of sin, because they believe not on me;
Jhn 16:10 ASV - of righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye behold me no more;
Jhn 16:11 ASV - of judgment, because the prince of this world hath been judged.
Only God the father can bring Godly sorrow that produces repentance unto salvation .
You must be filled with the Spirit of God also ,  It plainly says here that only by the Spirit of God
can we know his will in our lifes .  And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment .  You must be filled by his spirit just as the days of Acts 2 .  Peter said this is the promise of God unto all men   Act 2:4 ASV - And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.   Even as many as the Lord shall call . that is you friend . If you are not sure if you have the spirit of God than ask him with faith believing he is a reward of those that believe .
And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment , Conviction and Godly sorrow can only come from the Father this is a promise that Jesus died for . He is the Lamb for us he was slain for this great truth he is our Passover !

Luk 7:31 ASV - Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation, and to what are they like?



Isa 2:19 ASV - And men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake mightily the earth.

Following Christ Into The Regeneration

Mat 19:28 ASV - And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

 frequently in the literal sense, e.g., Mat 4:25;    metaphorically, of "discipleship," e.g., Mar 8:34; 9:38; 10:21. It is used 77 times in the Gospels, of "following" Christ

Regeneration:
"new birth" (palin, "again," genesis, "birth"), is used of "spiritual regeneration," Tts 3:5, involving the communication of a new life, the two operating powers to produce which are "the word of truth," Jam 1:18; 1Pe 1:23, and the Holy Spirit, Jhn 3:5, 6; the loutron, "the laver, the washing," is explained in Eph 5:26, "having cleansed it by the washing (loutron) of water with the word."

The new birth and "regeneration" do not represent successive stages in spiritual experience, they refer to the same event but view it in different aspects. The new birth stresses the communication of spiritual life in contrast to antecedent spiritual death; "regeneration" stresses the inception of a new state of things in contrast with the old; hence the connection of the use of the word with its application to Israel, in Mat 19:28. Some regard the kai in Tts 3:5 as epexegetic, "even;" but, as Scripture marks two distinct yet associated operating powers, there is not sufficient ground for this interpretation.

Tit 3:5 ASV - not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
Regeneration   new birth, reproduction, renewal, recreation, regeneration hence renovation, regeneration, the production of a new life consecrated to God, a radical change of mind for the better. The word often used to denote the restoration of a thing to its pristine state, its renovation, as a renewal or restoration of life after death

Mat 22:9 ASV - Go ye therefore unto the partings of the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage feast.

Mat 22:10 ASV - And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.
Realize here the fact that being invited to the wedding feast is Gods calling to mankind .  He is sending his invitation to come  to the marriage of his son , and his son is betrothed to the church the bride of Christ .  Not as a guest but as a participant as a part of the bride to be married to the son.  Rev 21:2 ASV - And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven of God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 22:17 ASV - And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.

Adam and Eve are a type and shadow of the bride and Christ ,  and being born of the earth there is a process of regeneration in every mans life .   Adam gave you your earthly body or soul which with out the regeneration of a new life we all die unto our flesh .
1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.  So we ask ourselfs what has Jesus come to do as a bridegroom for us
The bible says that when a man and women are married they become one flesh .  They are united together as one man .   Remember the word follow we follow Jesus into the regeneration of a new life , so God has called us to this daily walk or invited us to the  marriage supper of his son.   The parable in Matt 22: 10 above is the telling of that regeneration .  In the dictionary it says that regeneration. 1 : an act or the process of regenerating : the state of being regenerated. 2 : spiritual renewal or revival. 3 : renewal or restoration of a body, bodily part, or biological system (as a forest) after injury or as a normal process.  Only God can restore life to a dead man , Jesus proved that many times and they were all examples of regeneration form being born under Adams curse of death to our flesh because of sin , to newness of life .   Now it says in the parable that the servants of the master went out and gathered as many people to the wedding feast as they found even the Bad and The Good . Being married to Jesus is a life time of service to him a laying down of your life in the flesh to that regenerating process of the Holy Ghost .  The bad being you and I and the good being the finished product of a regenerated life .  This marrage feast has been going on for thousands of years and we are one of the many guest invited . But from the bad to the good
according to 1Co 15:46 ASV - Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; then that which is spiritual.
1Co 15:47 ASV - The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.
1Co 15:48 ASV - As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Co 15:53 ASV - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Jesus said to follow him into the regeneration , the only way to accomplish this is the cross our cross Jesus said Mat 10:38 ASV - And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.   We can never serve God in our flesh its all works of the flesh and it will result in death .  Gal 5:16 ASV - But I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 ASV - For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:18 ASV - But if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Jesus said he is the way the truth and the Life no man can come unto the father but by me .
Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:    Unless the Holy Spirit comes into you and fills you up and that being the regeneration of a new life.  Jhn 4:23 ASV - But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers.
Jhn 4:24 ASV - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
Jhn 14:17 ASV - even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.
Col 1:26 ASV - even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,
Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Col 1:28 ASV - whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ; You must be born again as this scripture says not of tradition or a man made doctrine .  2Jo 1:7 ASV - For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, even they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.   

Mat 22:11 ASV - But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:    Once again the verse above of the bad and the good . Many are called to this wedding feast but their is a requirement for all that are called . You must wear the wedding Garments you must be clothed with the spiritual wedding garments of sacrifice in this life time , to get on your cross and put to death that carnal man the flesh of Adam .   the lust of the flesh is a enemy of God.   Gal 5:17 ASV - For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.
 But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:    What is the wedding garments here in this verse , remember the regeneration of our souls is our cross and the work of the cross . Love not the world nor the things of the world
1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Rev 19:7 ASV - Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8 ASV - And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
Rev 19:9 ASV - And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they that are bidden to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are true words of God.
Remember this is a parable to us as of the many Jesus spoke to the world.   But in this parable Jesus said we are called as an unrighteous people a sinner in need of a savoir . And the bible says when it was time God sent his son in the likeness of your old sinful flesh to bring that regeneration to you grace upon grace .  The man was cast out because he chose not to live that sacrifice on his cross to put to death the deeds of his flesh . He had no acts of righteousness
their is only one way unto the father it is Jesus and him crucified .
Rom 12:1 ASV - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Following Jesus into the regeneration of our souls ,  You must be born again ! you must be filled with the Holy Spirit over flowing in your heart.   Luk 11:13 ASV - If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?   All you do is ask with a repentant heart having a sorrow for your sins .
God is faithful to perform his word , this is to be born again this is the beginning of your regeneration unto the kingdom of God.

Mat 22:12 ASV - and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.   Its not the doctrines of man that will save you it is the whole word of God and its righteousness . There is only one gospel of God and Christ brought that word through his life to us.

Mat 22:13 ASV - Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
Mat 22:14 ASV - For many are called, but few chosen.   Friends we want to be chosen in the end of all things , to be the elect of God those saints in Rev    And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.  
Rom 13:12 ASV - The night is far spent, and the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
Rom 13:13 ASV - Let us walk becomingly, as in the day; not in revelling and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and jealousy.
Rom 13:14 ASV - But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Call, Called, Calling:
"called, invited," is used,

(a) "of the call of the Gospel," Mat 20:16; 22:14, not there "an effectual call," as in the Epistles, Rom 1:1, 6, 7; 8:28; 1Cr 1:2, 24; Jud 1:1; Rev 17:14; in Rom 1:7; 1Cr 1:2 the meaning is "saints by calling;"

  Chosen  Greek: eklektos

Elect, Elected, Election:
lit. signifies "picked out, chosen" (ek, "from," lego, "to gather, pick out"), and is used of

(a) Christ, the "chosen" of God, as the Messiah, Luk 23:35 (for the verb in Luk 9:35 see Note below), and metaphorically as a "living Stone," "a chief corner Stone," 1Pe 2:4, 6; some mss. have it in Jhn 1:34, instead of huios, "Son;"

The Right To Become Sons Of God

Eph 6:10 ASV - Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
Heb 4:9 ASV - There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God.
Luk 6:5 ASV - And he said unto them, The Son of man is lord of the sabbath.
the confusion of the Sabbath in the Jewish and Christian institutions was due to declension from apostolic teaching.  God declared a day of rest , not for physical labour but from religious labour .

Eph 6:11 ASV - Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.         Wiles:  Greek: methodia or -eia denotes "craft, deceit" (meta, "after," hodos, "a way"). "a cunning device, a wile," and is translated "wiles (of error)"  The battle in these last days is for our minds ,  2Co 10:5 ASV - casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;  Your mind is your soul and Satan is after your soul .  Satan stands before God daily as an accuser of Gods people  Rev 12:10 ASV - And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuseth them before our God day and night.
Sin in our life brings this assault against us before God.  A man can hide sin from his brothers in Christ but not from his father who knows all and sees all . 

Eph 6:12 ASV - For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.  Coming to Christ in repentance and being filled with his spirit opens us up to the spiritual world around us .  It is referred to as a constant wrestling in the spirit .   Wrestling  Greek: pale Wrestle, Wrestling:
"a wrestling" (akin to pallo, "to sway, vibrate"), is used figuratively in Eph 6:12, of the spiritual conflict engaged in by believers, RV, "(our) wrestling," AV, "(we) wrestle."    And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.   Greek: peirasmos  Temptation:
akin to A, above, is used of    (1) "trials" with a beneficial purpose and effect, (a) of "trials" or "temptations," Divinely permitted or sent
Jas 1:2 ASV - Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations;
Jas 1:3 ASV - Knowing that the proving of your faith worketh patience.
Jas 1:4 ASV - And let patience have its perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.     
Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:  Jesus fills us with the Holy Spirit but also with the fire of reproof and with trials . The fire of God burns up all the dross in the gold and silver making it pure . So it is in our spiritual walk the fire that Jesus baptizes us with is his cross . The cross is an instrument of suffering ,     Mat 10:38 ASV - And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.     Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  We no longer live after our flesh it died spiritually in water baptism      Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Even so reckon ye also yourselves to be dead unto sin, but alive unto God in Christ Jesus.

Eph 6:13 ASV - Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.  The evil day full of labours, annoyances, hardships
 pressed and harassed by labours , bringing toils, annoyances, perils; of a time full of peril to Christian faith and steadfastness; causing pain and trouble.  It is a daily walk with Christ to the very end of all things , the bible says that tribulation works Patience . 


1Sa 17:45 ASV - Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a javelin: but I come to thee in the name of Jehovah of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.    David says he is coming in the name of God , Jesus also said he has come in his fathers name.  Onoma ,  for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers:  Its the names sake the power to over come in this evil generation.    Jhn 5:43 ASV - I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
When Jesus speaks of the signs that follow the true believers in  Mar 16:17 ASV - And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;  We are baptized into his name the power and authority over this world and its evil.  This power did not die as the unbelieving church says ,  it only began in the day of Pentecost the new testament church was born.  
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.
This is what being born again means, you put to death the carnal the flesh man and become a new creature in Christ .  Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.   The first Adam failed the second Adam Jesus was victorious
1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

1Sa 17:46 ASV - This day will Jehovah deliver thee into my hand; and I will smite thee, and take thy head from off thee; and I will give the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day unto the birds of the heavens, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,  The church has diminished this great truth to nothing but a bible story for children .       Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.   Spiritually speaking this type and shadow of an enemy such as Goliath is a type of our flesh Adams blood his carnal nature .   That is why we need a cross in our life , the flesh wants to live this evil nature of Adam.  But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name .  When satan sees you he is looking at the nature of Christ in you the hope of glory .  That is why his children has the power over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall harm you. Luk 10:19 ASV - Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.  This power of satan against the church it is the wiles we war against daily.            Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.        

Eph 6:14 ASV - Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

Eph 6:15 ASV - and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 ASV - withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.

Eph 6:17 ASV - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Rom 12:2      And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.    Our minds are renewed daily by Gods word not only reading it but obeying his word.
The helmet of salvation here is the faith according to scripture to bind and to loose .

is used   (a) intransitively and figuratively, of "treading" upon serpents, Luk 10:19; Casting out devils .
