Gal 5:16 ASV - But I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Gal 5:23 ASV - meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.   LAW  Greek: nomos    Law:
akin to nemo, "to divide out, distribute," primarily meant "that which is assigned;" hence, "usage, custom," and then, "law, law as prescribed by custom, or by statute;" the word ethos, "custom," was retained for unwritten "law," while nomos became the established name for "law" as decreed by a state and set up as the standard for the administration of justice.
The law here is speaking of the remission of sins the power of the blood of the Lamb of God Jesus Christ .    Rom 8:3 ASV - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:      Rom 8:2 ASV - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.     We obey the Law of the spirit of life ,   Jesus is the fulfilling of the old Law he is life everlasting .    Col 2:10 ASV - and in him ye are made full, who is the head of all principality and power:
Col 2:11 ASV - in whom ye were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;   This is where our cross comes into being the only way this word can accomplish Gods plan in our life's is to die to our carnal life our old man must be nail to our cross and suffer the death just as Christ suffered in his own flesh for the sins of the world .
Col 2:12 ASV - having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.  This is a commandant of Jesus he gave this commandant to his church through eternity.     Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.   There is only one gospel to preach the Gospel of God that Jesus preached the seed of the word of God .  Anything that allows the carnal flesh to live is not the true gospel .      1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jo 2:17 ASV - And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.
Mar 16:17 ASV - And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18 ASV - they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Mar 10:37 ASV - And they said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left hand, in thy glory.   There has to be a regeneration of our souls here our flesh shall not inherit the kingdom of God .    Mat 19:28 ASV - And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.  Here again is the water of separation to the children in the Jordan river  .  A spiritual type of our death on our cross .
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin; there is a truth herein this verse Romans is the sixth book in the new testament as we look at this verse closely we see the sixth book and the sixth chapter and the sixth verse 666  .  We are all born into sin and under Adams curse but Jesus gave us redemption through his blood the perfect sacrifice only once to die and than the judgement .
Rom 6:7 ASV - for he that hath died is justified from sin.  To die here is to believe in his name to take up our cross and follow Jesus in to the regeneration .    Heb 12:13 ASV - and make straight paths for your feet, that that which is lame be not turned out of the way, but rather be healed.
Heb 12:14 ASV - Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:
Heb 12:15 ASV - looking carefully lest there be any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby the many be defiled;

Tit 3:5 ASV - not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Mat 10:38 ASV - And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.  This is the cup he speaks of the only way we are to sat with him in heavenly places is to lose this carnal nature Adams nature ,  the children when crossing over the Jordan river it was a water of separation it was a type a shadow of baptism .  The twelve stones left in the water were also a type of the Apostles doctrine the gospel of God .  And Jericho was a type and shadow of our old man . The blood and the will of Adam we were cursed by his disobedience ! born of his loins .     God told Joshua to conquer the city to kill all inside and to burn it with fire let nothing live .  And bring nothing out of it ,  Rahab was a type and shadow of repentance a turning away from sin and devotion to God her faith saved her and her family.  
  Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:  His name is his power manifesting  in us the power of his spirit in us.   And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues it is his power his strength we live.         Greek: onoma      Name:     for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers:    of the "Name" of God as expressing His attributes, etc., e.g., Mat 6:9; Luk 1:49; Jhn 12:28; 17:6, 26; Rom 15:9; 1Ti 6:1; Hbr 13:15; Rev 13:6;     Jhn 14:18 ASV - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you.
 Jhn 14:16 ASV - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,

This gift did not die with the last Apostle its an eternal gift of life everlasting the promise of the spirit on the day of Pentecost was for today and until the end of time.      Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, EVEN AS MANY !  as the Lord our God shall call unto him. 
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.   Jesus told Nicodemus you must be born again , Nicodemus saw this is the flesh and not the spirit just as many of Gods people do.   The letter kills but the spirit brings life.   - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name .  Born of the water and of the spirit  ,  the water here is speaking of baptism Rom 6 die to self putting to death the deeds of our flesh . 
Mat 10:39 ASV - He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
Eph 5:26 ASV - that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,

Col 2:14 ASV - having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out that way, nailing it to the cross;  What was nailed to the cross here his very flesh was our sacrifice for us . Jesus died the physical death and we die the spiritual death on our own cross , that is why Jesus said on man is worthy of his sacrifice if he finds his life in the flesh and continues in sin. Jesus is the example for us to follow we must be born again to enter into his kingdom.
Col 2:15 ASV - having despoiled the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.  
1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
 Below is the curse of unbelieving and with the curse comes every evil work.  Now this is the curse upon Adam and this is the curse upon all the children in the wilderness .  The Law has stipulations and God demands complete obedience . Jesus came to deliver us from the Law of sin and death he said he did not come to do away with the Law but to fulfill it he is the fulfillment of the Law .     Col 2:13 ASV - And you, being dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, you, I say, did he make alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses;

Listen friend sin has no power over those who are in Christ Jesus born not of the flesh any longer but born of God .   We who belong to God are delivered from sin we do not have to sin any longer . If we are sinners save by grace than we must walk in that grace .  Luk 6:45 ASV - The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Luk 6:46 ASV - And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Luk 6:47 ASV - Every one that cometh unto me, and heareth my words, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like:
Luk 6:48 ASV - he is like a man building a house, who digged and went deep, and laid a foundation upon the rock: and when a flood arose, the stream brake against that house, and could not shake it: because it had been well builded.
Luk 6:49 ASV - But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that built a house upon the earth without a foundation; against which the stream brake, and straightway it fell in; and the ruin of that house was great.


Rom 6:11 ASV - Even so reckon ye also yourselves to be dead unto sin, but alive unto God in Christ Jesus.
Rom 6:12 ASV - Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey the lusts thereof:
Rom 6:13 ASV - neither present your members unto sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves unto God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Rom 6:14 ASV - For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under law, but under grace.

Deu 28:1 ASV - And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that Jehovah thy God will set thee on high above all the nations of the earth:
Deu 28:15 ASV - But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day, that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee.
When a man sins willingly he brings judgement upon himself , the bible says we are nailing Jesus back to his cross again and again when we sin .  And the bible says that Jesus only died once to sin for evermore and than the judgement .  Therefore when we sin willfully we bring the curse upon our lifes because of the sin and the blood of Jesus has to cleanse us for that sin 
1Jo 1:5 ASV - And this is the message which we have heard from him and announce unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1Jo 1:6 ASV - If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
1Jo 1:7 ASV - but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1Jo 1:8 ASV - If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jo 1:9 ASV - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Mat 12:8 ASV - For the Son of man is lord of the sabbath.       For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:    Jesus was tell those men at that moment its all over it is finished ,  And blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord
 

Eph 4:11 And Gave Gifts Unto Men

Luk 20:1 ASV - And it came to pass, on one of the days, as he was teaching the people in the temple, and preaching the gospel, there came upon him the chief priests and the scribes with the elders;
Luk 20:2 ASV - and they spake, saying unto him, Tell us: By what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?
Luk 20:3 ASV - And he answered and said unto them, I also will ask you a question; and tell me:
Luk 20:4 ASV - The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men?
Luk 20:5 ASV - And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why did ye not believe him?
Luk 20:6 ASV - But if we shall say, From men; all the people will stone us: for they are persuaded that John was a prophet.
Luk 20:7 ASV - And they answered, that they knew not whence it was.
Luk 20:8 ASV - And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
If you can receive this as truth than be aware there are men even today just as these men in Christ day . They knew he was not like any other man , when Jesus would walk up to the disciples and the moment they made contact with his eyes they knew he was not like other men.  He Jesus manifested his Fathers grace and mercy and Love , he was the express Image of his Father .   As a very small speck of Light that enters a very dark room will dispel enormous darkness .   Light triumphs over darkness and the light being the truth of Gods word .
Jhn 1:1 ASV - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jhn 1:2 ASV - The same was in the beginning with God.
Jhn 1:3 ASV - All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made.
Jhn 1:4 ASV - In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Jhn 1:5 ASV - And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not.
Notice the word apprehended now the word is not comprehended as some versions say.   The word apprehended is to see it and lay hold of the situation . Now comprehended is to mentally grasp the situation not seeing or realizing the truth of the matter .  So it is with men of today to sin is to choose to ignore or cast aside the truth .   The chief priests and the scribes with the elders reasoned with themselves about this truth and  they lied to Jesus to the fact that they really knew more about this than they told.   Power and greed and to hold on to their fleshly structure that power and greed of wealth .   Power over the people and with a straight face and lie to the people and to Christ.
The church today has been manipulated , the truly hungry people of God are asleep and trust the hireling as their leader . When in fact Jesus has brought the truth  his word is truth . Jesus called all men that were NOT chosen to led his people , Hirelings .          Greek: misthotos Hired Servant, Hireling:  an adjective denoting "hired," is used as a noun, signifying "one who is hired," "hired servants," Mar 1:20; "hireling," Jhn 10:12, 13; here, it expresses, not only one who has no real interest in his duty (that may or may not be present in its use in Mar 1:20, and in misthios, No. 2), but one who is unfaithful in the discharge of it; that sense attaches always to the word rendered "hireling."
Eph 4:8 ASV - Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men.
Eph 4:11 ASV - And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 ASV - for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 ASV - till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a fullgrown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
It is in the word folks if a man takes on the office of a Sheppard of Gods people his sheep and he was not called he has not the gift from God to operate in any office of authority over Gods children he is in error .   And that error is soon prevalent in the fact he is in it for the money he is nothing more than a hireling . It all in the church today in the whole world is steeped with this  false doctrine . When men of God become involved in the affairs of this world more political than righteous they are manipulating the sheep ,   your salvation is based on your faith your choosing to follow Jesus to obey his word .  God says all men are the same in his eyes he is no respecter of persons .  And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers . Where did this truth go how is it the so called church cannot believe this truth ,  any man operating in the gifts of the spirit with their hearts always in a repentant state full of Gods spirit will manifest this in their daily living .  Remember the speck of light in a dark place , the world is dark and getting darker .   Jesus spoke it in Matt 24  tribulation is coming for the church it will start first in the church . 1Co 3:10 ASV - According to the grace of God which was given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder I laid a foundation; and another buildeth thereon. But let each man take heed how he buildeth thereon.  There are men today proud and arrogant pride exudes from them ,   they question the writings of Paul and the truth of his message as just as a mere man and his writings not completely all God breathed.   Paul suffer in that flesh he walk with,  and he spoke of this very thing that in the last days there would be mockers and rebellious men .     1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1Co 3:14 ASV - If any man's work shall abide which he built thereon, he shall receive a reward.
1Co 3:15 ASV - If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as through fire.
1Co 3:16 ASV - Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Jhn 4:23 ASV - But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers.
Jhn 4:24 ASV - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
Jhn 14:17 ASV - even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.
Friend you need the filling up of Gods spirit in you need that same experience that took place in the book of Act 2 this was not just for them and than it died ,  that is a doctrine of devils it puts men back to the place of Isaiah 61 and  Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,    There is so much more God has for those that love him .  Jesus told Peter that the gates of hell shall not prevail against his church .
Luk 24:49 ASV - And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.     Greek: enduo    Clothe:

Act 19:7 ASV - And they were in all about twelve men.
 I will ask you the same question today have you received the Holy Spirit when you believed and I am not speaking of the powerless church the church lost in another gospel .
With out repentance and full of fleshly works ,   - And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.  This is the true gospel of God this is the overflowing of Gods gift to all man kind .
Mat 16:16 ASV - And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 16:17 ASV - And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven.
Mat 16:18 ASV - And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.  Jesus said he came to save man kind to give them life and life more abundantly

The Sower Went Forth To Sow

Jhn 15:1 ASV - I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Jhn 15:2 ASV - Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit.
Jhn 15:3 ASV - Already ye are clean because of the word which I have spoken unto you.
Jhn 15:4 ASV - Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me.
Jhn 15:5 ASV - I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing.
Jhn 15:6 ASV - If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Jhn 15:7 ASV - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Jhn 15:26 ASV - But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me:
Greek: parakletos        Comfort, Comforter, Comfortless:
lit., "called to one's side," i.e., to one's aid is primarily a verbal adjective, and suggests the capability or adaptability for giving aid. It was used in a court of justice to denote a legal assistant, counsel for the defense, an advocate; then, generally, one who pleads another's cause, an intercessor, advocate, as in 1Jo 2:1, of the Lord Jesus. In the widest sense, it signifies a "succorer, comforter." Christ was this to His disciples, by the implication of His word "another (allos, "another of the same sort," not heteros, "different") Comforter," when speaking of the Holy Spirit, Jhn 14:16. In Jhn 14:26; 15:26; 16:7 He calls Him "the Comforter." "Comforter" or "Consoler" corresponds to the name "Menahem," given by the Hebrews to the Messiah.
Jhn 14:23 ASV - Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.                Abode  Greek mone  Mansions:
primarily "a staying, abiding" (akin to meno, "to abide"), denotes an "abode" (Eng., "manor," "manse," etc.), translated "mansions" in Jhn 14:2; "abode" in Jhn 14:23. There is nothing in the word to indicate separate compartments in heaven; neither does it suggest temporary resting-places on the road.
I would like to make aware that Theology of the past and present has deceived many and put to sleep the others with a doctrine and doctrines that are not biblical or scriptural.  In this verse above I want to bring some light on the truth of Gods word . I know not whether there are mansions or not in the place Gods children go after death and also the final judgement .  Jesus calls it paradise Rev 2:7 ASV - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.   Christ, at His death, having committed His spirit to the Father, went in spirit immediately into Heaven itself, the dwelling place of God .
I know in building a structure a house or large building any construction project it must be followed exactly as the plans are drawn .  It will have a starting place and an ending ,  Jesus is that corner stone and ever building has a reference point to build from . When something is called into question on a building site the surveyor goes back to the corner stone to see if the work is plumb . It must be exact with the main survey point.  One small mistake in measurement will cause the building to be out of measurement and causing many problems .   Gods word is absolute even down to the dot of an i the word says .   Rom 3:4 ASV - God forbid: yea, let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, And mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment.   How important is the words of God and the words we speak ! the word of God created heavens and Earth and everything in the earth even you my friend was created in his image . All things are of God and belong to God and there was nothing made that was not made by and for him.  Now the words we speak out side the word of God Paul said a man should speak as the oracles of God.  
  Mat 12:34 ASV - Ye offspring of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Mat 12:35 ASV - The good man out of his good treasure bringeth forth good things: and the evil man out of his evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Mat 12:36 ASV - And I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
 Greek: argos Barren:
denoting "idle, barren, yielding no return, because of inactivity," is found in the best mss. in Jam 2:20 (RV, "barren"); it is rendered "barren" in 2Pe 1:8, AV, (RV, "idle"). In Mat 12:36, the "idle word" means the word that is thoughtless or profitless.
Please understand we are all earthy people and subject to error , but Christ came to bring that light to expose the darkness in our souls .  It says in John that some men love their darkness more than the light      Jhn 3:19 ASV - And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

 Col 1:10 ASV - to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Col 1:11 ASV - strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy;
Col 1:12 ASV - giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;
Col 1:13 ASV - who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;
Col 1:14 ASV - in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins:
Col 1:15 ASV - who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
Jesus is the Image of the invisible God your father , not in flesh but in Spirit .  In the beginning God created all man kind in his image and what was the fathers image ?    not arms and legs not the image of the flesh . God created man spiritually Adam and Eve were perfect in every way he gave them a body for a house but the word says that God breathed the breathe of life into Adams nostrils and Adam became a living SOUL ! Jesus said he came in his fathers Name !    Greek  Onoma the character the nature and all the authority of his father .  Col 2:6 ASV - As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,
Col 2:7 ASV - rooted and builded up in him, and established in your faith, even as ye were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Col 2:8 ASV - Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:
Col 2:9 ASV - for in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily,
Col 2:10 ASV - and in him ye are made full, who is the head of all principality and power:
Col 1:20 ASV - and through him to reconcile all things unto himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross; through him, I say, whether things upon the earth, or things in the heavens.
2Co 5:19 ASV - to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
The church of today as we know it is weak and sickly with no power to overcome the world and its evil so they join it.  And what will be the demises of a church motivated by flesh and comprise .  Another tower of Babel coming up another way to reach heavens gates. No Jesus said I am the way the truth and the light NO MAN shall come unto the father but through me . What are we to determine what Jesus means here ,  through him !   Jhn 3:16 ASV - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.
1Jo 4:9 ASV - Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him.   And he came in the likeness of our sinful flesh  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh  Rom 7   For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were through the law, wrought in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.  But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that wherein we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter .
The cross why the cross Jesus laid it out very plain and he was speaking of our cross Long before he was put on his . The cross is a instrument of suffering and what are we to suffer . Death to the deeds of our old carnal man the works of the flesh so we can manifest the fruit of his spirit Jesus.  The fruit of the spirit is the very nature of Jesus he is what we must become Jesus was perfect and we to must reach that perfection .Mat 18:3 ASV - and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.   Jesus told us that if we will not pick up our cross and follow him we are not worthy of him . Looking in that mirror we must see Jesus in our selfs .     1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Co 15:53 ASV - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 ASV - But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Jesus has come to save our souls not our flesh , and he is looking for the fruit of his word in you the good ground .  And other fell into the good ground, and grew, and brought forth fruit a hundredfold. As he said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear

But Who Say Ye That I Am?

Mat 16:15 ASV - He saith unto them, But who say ye that I am?

Jhn 1:23 ASV - He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said Isaiah the prophet. 
Wilderness     Greek: eremos  Wilderness:  an adjective signifying "desolate, deserted, lonely," is used as a noun, and rendered "wilderness" 32 times in the AV; in Mat 24:26; Jhn 6:31, RV, "wilderness" (AV, "desert").  
Straight Greek  metaphorically, of making "straight" the way of the Lord, Jhn 1:23.   Jesus has come and made his abode with man ,   and what is blocking the way of the Lord .  
John came preaching repentance , Baptism is a type of the grave Jesus was laid in to fulfill his death ,burial and resurrection .    Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.   Jesus said he was the way the truth and the Life he told his disciples and ye know the way that I am going and how to get there .  So what was Jesus talking about here .
Jhn 14:3 ASV - And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.  He is speaking about the resurrection of the dead , the final judgement and his return .
Jhn 14:4 ASV - And whither I go, ye know the way.   Now what was the way he is speaking of ,   every one living on this earth without Jesus in their heart is a walking dead man . Adam was a living soul but Jesus is that life giving spirit . He says in the verse above the only way we or any man can reach God his father is through him.   Luk 9:23 ASV - And he said unto all, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.   The cross in the Greek is an instrument of suffering ,  but our suffering is in our carnal man our corrupt flesh man.  Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.    This is the what John was speaking about making our paths straight before Jesus .  Having that Godly sorrow that works unto true repentance .   So if we die with him in our baptism according to John we are putting to death this carnal nature of Adam.  Taking every thing out of the way for him to come and manifest himself to us as the last Adam . Moses was a type and shadow of Jesus he led the children out of Egypt and bondage into the wilderness .  The wilderness is a place of trials and testing to bring us to that perfection of Christ in us the hope of glory.  everything Christ accomplished in his ministry was an example to man kind .  Mat 19:28 ASV - And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Tit 3:5 ASV - not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,  Regeneration  new birth, reproduction, renewal, recreation, regeneration  hence renovation, regeneration, the production of a new life consecrated to God, a radical change of mind for the better. The word often used to denote the restoration of a thing to its pristine state, its renovation, as a renewal or restoration of life after death .      Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Rom 8:2 ASV - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.  Jesus set us free from the law of sin we are no longer sinners save by grace , Jesus took that curse on his cross for us,  nailing it to his cross once for all now we live in the freedom of his grace .
Jhn 14:5 ASV - Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way?
Jhn 14:6 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jhn 14:9 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how sayest thou, Show us the Father?     We to must take on his life his nature as a son of God ,  Jesus spoke many times of being the son of man .  He was brought into this world in yours and my likeness  of sinful flesh .   Rom 8:3 ASV - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 7:5 ASV - For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were through the law, wrought in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.   Jesus has come just as Moses to deliver Gods people from their wilderness and into the kingdom of his father . 
Heb 6:1 ASV - Wherefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on unto perfection; not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,    The children of Israel walked around that mountain for forty years , and Jesus said if you have the faith and believe in your heart that what you ask for it will come to pass . Speak to the mountain and it will uproot and fall into the sea. The mountain being doubt and unbelief , the word says it is Impossible to please God with out heart faith believing absolutely in his promises.  The church today is walking around that mountain of doubt and unbelief . And as we see the children of doubt in the wilderness remained there they all died in there unbelief . 
So who do we say Jesus is in our life today as we stand before him  . Is he our Lord and saviour do we live in that sanctification of separation unto Christ , Jesus said if you love me you will obey my commandants .  He also said if we do not take up our cross and follow him we are not worthy of him .    Men do not fear God there is no fear unto repentance of a Godly kind a life changing kind the new birth kind .  Jesus said many are called but few are chosen .  Called is invited to the marriage feast of the lamb a precious invitation to come and partake of the blood of the Lamb .  Chosen is the Elect of God , the man was speechless at the question of the master when he came into the marriage supper of his son and saw a man without the wedding garments on . Friend how did you get in here with out the wedding garments and he was speechless .  This is a parable to grasp and believe but the day is coming when the bride will partake of the marriage feast of the Lamb and God will judge the earth and its people accordingly .
Rev 19:7 ASV - Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8 ASV - And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the Righteous Acts Of The Saints.
Rev 19:9 ASV - And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they that are bidden to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are true words of God.
Mat 16:16 ASV - And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 16:17 ASV - And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven.

The power and the authority is no longer a mystery to those that believe , Jesus told Peter You did not get this revelation from your own ability or power of the fleshly mind . When a man comes to God with a repentant heart he no longer belongs to the earth , Jesus said we live in the earth but we are no longer of the earth . Our soul enters into a spiritual realm of understanding .  And Jesus said my kingdom is not of this earth.  Luk 17:20 ASV - And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:      Luk 17:21 ASV - neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.  Jesus told John he was to baptize him and John said how can this be Lord , you are the Lord of Glory you should baptize me .
  Mat 3:13 KJV - Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.  I want to point out that John had to come first and that is why Jesus said no greater has been born of a woman than John , because he brought the New dispensation the power of the cross through the cross through Repentance . With out true repentance no man can enter in to his kingdom ,   its a matter of our hearts and God is after your heart .  Tit 1:15 ASV - To the pure all things are pure: but to them that are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.   Rom 10:10 ASV - for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.   For out of our heart flows the Issues of our life .  Jesus said it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles the body but what comes out of our heart that defiles us.  Mat 15:18 ASV - But the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth out of the heart; and they defile the man.
Mat 15:19 ASV - For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings:     Jesus said he was the sower in the parable Matt 13 and he was sowing his fathers word the true gospel , and as the seed came from him it fell in different places of the heart ,      Mat 13:19 ASV - When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the evil one, and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side.   This is where the spirit of God is your guide your comforter . Friend you need the Holy Spirit as in the 2 chapter of Acts the beginning of the new testament church , Peter said in that chapter that it was not just for the 120 in the upper room it was for all that are a far off even As Many ! as the lord God shall call .  Being filled with the power of Gods spirit ,  God manifested this power by tongues of fire over their heads and all were amazed at this power.  You need this power ! you need this baptism of the Holy Spirit .  1 Cor 12:1 this is Pauls mystery to you this is the power of Gods kingdom to you . Jesus said I have prayed to the father that he give you another comforter the Spirit of truth .     Eph 4:3 ASV - giving diligence to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Eph 4:4 ASV - There is one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 ASV - one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6 ASV - one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all.
Eph 4:7 ASV - But unto each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.
Mat 13:23 ASV - And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who verily beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty  .      Act 2:17 ASV - And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:
Act 2:18 ASV - Yea and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days Will I pour forth of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.
Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?    Repentance is the key here being sorry for our sins truly sorry ,      2Co 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.    Here is Gods answer to a hungry heart a heart filled with Godly sorrow .
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.  Jesus said all you have to do is ask with an honest heart , Father give me this Holy Spirit fill me Lord with your presence and guide me into all truth.



















Pro 14:12 ASV - There is a way which seemeth right unto a man; But the end thereof are the ways of death.
Pro 14:13 ASV - Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; And the end of mirth is heaviness.  Jesus said peace I give unto you , not as the world gives Peace that pass all understanding
Pro 14:14 ASV - The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways; And a good man shall be satisfied from himself.
