Confirming The Word By The Signs That Follow

Without Gods word we have no life in us,  the number Six is the number of man and it says in Rev 13:18  to those who have wisdom to understand .  Strong's Number: g666     Greek: apousia  Absence, Absent:    Greek: hex     Six:
whence Eng. prefix, hex--, is used separately from other numerals in Mat 17:1; Mar 9:2; Luk 4:25; 13:14; Jhn 2:6; 12:1; Act 11:12; 18:11; Jam 5:17; Rev 4:8. It sometimes suggests incompleteness, in comparison with the perfect number seven.
Jhn 1:1 ASV - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  Now we know this to be Christ he was with God in the beginning before anything was created .
Jhn 1:2 ASV - The same was in the beginning with God.    Jesus the Christ
Jhn 1:3 ASV - All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made.   So we see that God was in Christ and the seed of his body was of David , Jesus was at his birth the son of God in spirit and was God in the flesh  .    2Co 5:17 ASV - Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.
2Co 5:18 ASV - But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation;
2Co 5:19 ASV - to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Jhn 1:4 ASV - In him was life; and the life was the light of men.   Gods perfect plan is beyond our understanding ,  I am seeing our fathers intention for man was to create children to worship him and he brought the light of his love to us through Jesus , You know people say many times what is the purpose of life what am I here for.    The most wonderful thing here is that no man is born in this earth with out Gods plan his love and grace , Every soul born upon this earth is Gods plan and he knows them very well.   The word says that God created man in his own Image Male and Female . God said let us make man in our own Image  .    Gen 1:26 ASV - And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 1:27 ASV - And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.  This word Image is also compared to the word likeness or a foreshadowing of something to come .  The image here is a spiritual image not a bodily image .  This is parallel to the word Name  in his Name Jesus said I have glorified your name father .     Name:   Greek: onoma  ,    for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers:
(a) of the "Name" of God as expressing His attributes, etc., e.g., Mat 6:9; Luk 1:49; Jhn 12:28; 17:6, 26; Rom 15:9; 1Ti 6:1; Hbr 13:15; Rev 13:6

God has no body he is spirit Jesus says that in  Jhn 4:24 ASV - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.  Here again is why you were born in this earth . Yes Adam fell from grace because of his disobedience to Gods commandments .   But we have another Adam to restore back to God all that Adam lost.  God created man in his power his authority  for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers:
And Jesus said he came in that name ( authority, character majesty, power ) to glorify his father ,    and yet again Jesus says in my name you shall cast out devils heal the sick speak with new tongues .   And Jesus is the express Image of his father , and as we feed upon his word the seed he sowed upon the earth in Mark 4: 14-20  And that word will manifest the Image of Christ.   Jesus said he and his father are one and he prays to the father .   The seed when it manifest itself in us it becomes the fruit of Jesus . And the fruit is his nature and character the authority to weld the sword with faith , he has given us the keys to the kingdom of his father.
Mat 16:18 ASV - And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
Mat 16:19 ASV - I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  Gods children have the power over all the power of the enemy .    Luk 10:17 ASV - And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject unto us in thy name.  In his Name all that Jesus is the power and authority he gave to his children .  Not just to the Apostels and than it all die with them .  That my friend is not a doctrine from God and woe unto them that add to the word preaching another gospel .
Luk 10:18 ASV - And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven.
Luk 10:19 ASV - Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.
Mat 24:14 ASV - And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.

 For God was in Christ  2Co 5:19 ASV - to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.   The word of reconciliation and Jesus is the word made flesh he is our Passover Lamb .
1Co 15:42 ASV - So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
1Co 15:43 ASV - it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1Co 15:44 ASV - it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
1Co 15:46 ASV - Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; then that which is spiritual.
1Co 15:47 ASV - The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.    Mar 9:7 ASV - And there came a cloud overshadowing them: and there came a voice out of the cloud, This is my beloved Son: hear ye him.
Luk 9:35 ASV - And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my Son, my chosen: hear ye him.
With out this precious word we have nothing to say , I can write about the word but scripture is the power of God manifesting in our flesh body's . If we as children believe and obey this great word of grace it becomes the word made flesh in us also.    Jhn 17:1 ASV - These things spake Jesus; and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that the son may glorify thee:
Jhn 17:2 ASV - even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that to all whom thou hast given him, he should give eternal life.
Jhn 17:3 ASV - And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, even Jesus Christ.
Jhn 17:4 ASV - I glorified thee on the earth, having accomplished the work which thou hast given me to do.
Jhn 17:5 ASV - And now, Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
Jhn 17:6 ASV - I manifested thy name unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.
Jhn 17:7 ASV - Now they know that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are from thee:

 Eph 1:3 ASV - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ:
Eph 1:4 ASV - even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love:   The father chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world this is that plan of God for man kind. And this is why you were born when you say why was I born on this earth what am I here for !!    We are here to bear fruit through the seed of Gods word to manifest that light of his word .
 Mat 5:12 ASV - Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets that were before you.
Mat 5:13 ASV - Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost its savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under foot of men.
Mat 5:14 ASV - Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid.
Mat 5:15 ASV - Neither do men light a lamp, and put it under the bushel, but on the stand; and it shineth unto all that are in the house.
Mat 5:16 ASV - Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Eph 1:5 ASV - having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Eph 1:6 ASV - to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved:
Eph 1:7 ASV - in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,
Eph 1:9 ASV - making known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him
Eph 1:13 ASV - in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation,-- in whom, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
Eph 1:14 ASV - which is an earnest of our inheritance, unto the redemption of God's own possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Jhn 1:5 ASV - And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not.   Rev 13:15 ASV - And it was given unto him to give breath to it, even to the image to the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as should not worship the image of the beast should be killed.    Image is also a  likeness of so we see here two kinds of Image .  Jesus told the scribes and the Pharisee You are of your father the devil Jhn 8:44 ASV - Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father it is your will to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and standeth not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.
Rev 13:16 ASV - And he causeth all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, that there be given them a mark on their right hand, or upon their forehead;   I want to point out the mark here,  I am seeing more than one mark  . I believe this mark is the very words Jesus spoke in the verse above , You are of your father the devil this is a spiritual mark it is giving their mind over to the beast . They have willingly followed after the evil their minds are reprobate and they have a spiritual mark . Notice how the mark is given on the hand or the forehead . The hand is doing the works of evil works of the flesh .   As is the mind having an evil mind .
 Rom 1:28 ASV - And even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;        Rev 17:13 ASV - These have one mind, and they give their power and authority unto the beast.    This is a spiritual mark they have already condemed themselves by their actions.
Rev 17:14 ASV - These shall war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they also shall overcome that are with him, called and chosen and faithful.

Rev 13:17 ASV - and that no man should be able to buy or to sell, save he that hath the mark, even the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Rev 13:18 ASV - Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and sixty and six.

 Sixty, Sixtyfold:   Greek: hexekonta    In Rev 13:18, the number of the "Beast," the human potentate destined to rule with Satanic power the ten-kingdom league at the end of this age, is given as "six hundred and sixty and six" (RV), and described as "the number of (a) man." The number is suggestive of the acme of the pride of fallen man, the fullest development of man under direct Satanic control, and standing in contrast to "seven" as the number of completeness and perfection.       Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin; Romans is the sixth book , sixth chapter and the sixth verse .   666
1Jo 2:18 ASV - Little children, it is the last hour: and as ye heard that antichrist cometh, even now have there arisen many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last hour.
2Jo 1:7 ASV - For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, even they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
My own opinion here of this verse I believe this is speaking of Jesus as being the begotten son of God and than the mystery of Christ in you the hope of Glory .   Jesus said he would come in to us and sup with us      Rev 3:20 ASV - Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.     Their is an absolute experience for every believer of Christ the same experience that happened on the day of Pentecost .   Luk 24:49 ASV - And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.
Act 1:8 ASV - But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Act 1:12 ASV - Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is nigh unto Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey off.
Act 1:13 ASV - And when they were come in, they went up into the upper chamber, where they were abiding; both Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.
Act 1:14 ASV - These all with one accord continued stedfastly in prayer, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.      There is an absolute in filling of Gods spirit to you and every one that ask of God for his spirit .   KJV says that you be endued with power clothed upon,  enveloped with Gods power .   And the scripture in Acts 2       Act 2:36 ASV - Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.
Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  There are three things a man must do to enter in to the kingdom of God ,  Repent of his sins have a change of mind ,  Be Baptized in the name of Jesus and this baptism is so much more than the church of today preaches it .       Rom 6:1 ASV - What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 ASV - God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein?
Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
Act 2:40 ASV - And with many other words he testified, and exhorted them, saying, Save yourselves from this crooked generation.
Act 2:41 ASV - They then that received his word were baptized: and there were added unto them in that day about three thousand souls.
The word says  Heb 10:26 ASV - For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,   We must repent and have a change of mind to live holy and pure before he Lord .
And the third thing that happens when we repent and go into that watery grave to die with Jesus and to resurrect  with him to newness of life .  You receive the GIFT of the Holy Spirit just as they received on the day of Pentecost .
2Co 1:22 ASV - who also sealed us, and gave us the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Eph 1:13 ASV - in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation,-- in whom, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
Eph 4:30 ASV - And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, in whom ye were sealed unto the day of redemption. Sealed            ownership and security, together with destination, Rev 7:3-5 (as with the noun in ver. 2; see A); the same three indications are conveyed in Eph 1:13, in the metaphor of the "sealing" of believers by the gift of the Holy Spirit, upon believing (i.e., at the time of their regeneration, not after a lapse of time in their spiritual life, "having also believed," not as AV, "after that ye believed;" the aorist participle marks the definiteness and completeness of the act of faith); the idea of destination is stressed by the phrase "the Holy Spirit of promise" (see also Eph 1:14); so Eph 4:30, "ye were sealed unto the day of redemption;" so in 2Cr 1:22, where the Middle Voice intimates the special interest of the Sealer in His act     (Deissmann illustrates this from the papyri of Fayyum, in which the "sealing" of sacks guarantees the full complement of the contents);

Jhn 14:4 And whither I go, ye know the way.

 James 1     Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempteth no man each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed  .  Jesus said be yourself's  holy as your father is holy .          1Pe 1:15 ASV - but like as he who called you is holy, be ye yourselves also holy in all manner of living;
1Pe 1:16 ASV - because it is written, Ye shall be holy; for I am holy.    Holy   Greek  hagios
     This sainthood is not an attainment, it is a state into which God in grace calls men; yet believers are called to sanctify themselves (consistently with their calling, 2Ti 1:9), cleansing themselves from all defilement, forsaking sin, living a "holy" manner of life, 1Pe 1:15; 2Pe 3:11, and experiencing fellowship with God in His holiness. The saints are thus figuratively spoken of as "a holy temple," 1Cr 3:17 (a local church); Eph 2:21 (the whole Church), cp. Eph 5:27; "a holy priesthood," 1Pe 2:5; "a holy nation," 1Pe 2:9.    "It is evident that hagios and its kindred words... express something more and higher than hieros, sacred, outwardly associated with God;... something more than semnos, worthy, honorable; something more than hagnos, pure, free from defilement. Hagios is... more comprehensive... It is characteristically godlikness

Please remember the gift given to all people that give their life's to Jesus and willingly surrender to his will.     Jesus just before he ascended said  that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem Ye are witnesses of these things .  They had lived this very life walking with Jesus and now they must preach the gospel to all people. They witnessed the power of Christ and they also   had manifested that power in themselves . This is the gift Jesus has given to all man kind even today he is still giving the gift of the Spirit to those that ask . Luke 24:49    And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.       Clothe:   Greek: enduo
(Eng., "endue"), signifies "to enter into, get into," as into clothes, "to put on," e.g., Mar 1:6; Luk 8:27 (in the best mss.); 24:49 (AV, "endued"); 2Cr 5:3; Rev 1:13; 19:14.     Rom 13:14 ASV - But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit.   Here is the power to walk in holiness to escape the deeds of our flesh , Walk in the spirit and ye shall not do the deeds of the flesh  .     Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.    Everything in your life is dependent upon your surrender to your cross ,  to our need every moment of his direction and wisdom . And by his spirit can we obtain that holy living .  It is impossible to live Godly in our flesh , Jesus said you shall be clothed with power from on high .  This old man must die and the new man Christ in you the hope of Glory must grow .     2Pe 1:3 ASV - seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue;    Jesus came to show us the father he was the very image of his father .
Unlike the church today that preach a watered down version of the gospel , that will not preach repenteance from sin .   And that the gift of the spirit is still given today it is the only way unto this holy life . That is why we see so much sin in the church today perverting the word of God to suit the lust of their flesh .  John said that the one coming after me will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and with Fire  .     Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:     The spirit of God is the power  to over come and the fire is the working of Gods spirit in you to burn away all the things in us that is not consistent with holy living .     Jesus says that the flesh profits nothing   Jhn 6:63 ASV - It is the spirit that giveth life; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I have spoken unto you are spirit, and are life.    Adam gave us the curse of sin and being born of him we are united with him in his flesh . Therefore all have sinned and fell short of Gods glory .  Col 1:18 ASV - And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.  Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,   This is the gospel of God to the whole world and Jesus preached his fathers gospel to us.
Rev 1:5 ASV - and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us from our sins by his blood;
The words being Born Again !  how are we born again ?  What does it mean to be born again .   Born of the water and of the spirit ,    the water is the word of God in its entirety and the Spirit is the power to walk in his word . It is the spirit of Christ Jesus coming into us to be our helper .        Isa 9:6 ASV - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.      Isa 9:7 ASV - Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.    Col 1:26 ASV - even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,
Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Mat 19:28 ASV - And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Tit 3:5 ASV - not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,    Regeneration  Regeneration:  Greek: palingenesia
"new birth" (palin, "again," genesis, "birth"), is used of "spiritual regeneration," Tts 3:5, involving the communication of a new life, the two operating powers to produce which are "the word of truth," Jam 1:18; 1Pe 1:23, and the Holy Spirit, Jhn 3:5, 6; the loutron, "the laver, the washing," is explained in Eph 5:26, "having cleansed it by the washing (loutron) of water with the word."
Jesus spoke of the words saying many are called but few are chosen ,  called being invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb ,   and chosen being elected because of their holy living and the word elected is also being called saints of God .    This is something very obtainable through holy living .   The deeds of our flesh will condemn us but if we walk by his spirit we shall obtain that regeneration life.    Jesus said some men will try to come up another way ,      Jhn 14:6 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.   What is he saying here ?   did he not tell us of a cross to bear and he came to show us the way unto salvation . The way the truth and the life .  And he is saying here the only way unto Gods kingdom is through this true gospel.  We cannot save this worldly life this flesh , our carnal man must die our altar is to fall on our cross Jesus prepaired for us .   Mat 10:38 ASV - And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.
Mat 10:39 ASV - He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.   The children in the wilderness had to cross over the Jordan river just as we have our Jordan to cross . Being born of the water is to be , by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost . The word of God and the power of his spirit to walk in his commandants his word of truth.   The book of Acts 2 Peter says it plainly you must repent being sorry for your sins without repenteance people cannot go any further with God and his commandants .  For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.  And than comes our cross unto salvation for us ,  What is water baptism and why water baptism . This not some formal act to join the church , its not some small  thing we can except or not .   Must a man be baptised to enter into the kingdom of God .  If we die not to our sins we cannot be redeemed from the curse of Adam .  Baptisim is not some  symbolism we perform to feel holy , or it might be the part of a church order to join.  But yet it is just symbolism it has no power to regenerate our sinful life .
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Rom 6:7 ASV - for he that hath died is justified from sin.        We have been saved by the power of his cross , we are not sinners save by grace . Jesus through our obedience to his word and water baptisim has delivered us set us from from the Law of sin and death . We have the power over sin through his blood . If we sin willfully after we have received this precious truth we have no more sacrifice for that sin .
Heb 10:14 ASV - For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Heb 10:16 ASV - This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, saith the Lord: I will put my laws on their heart, And upon their mind also will I write them; then saith he,
Heb 10:17 ASV - And their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Heb 10:18 ASV - Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
Heb 10:22 ASV - let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,
Heb 10:23 ASV - let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised:
Heb 10:26 ASV - For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,               Heb 10:29 ASV - of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?     Despite  Greek: enubrizo Despite, Despiteful, Despitefully
"to treat insultingly, with contumely" (en, intensive, hubrizo, "to insult;" some connect it with huper, "above, over," Lat. super, which suggests the insulting disdain of one who considers himself superior), is translated "hath done despite" in Hbr 10:29.
This is Gods word and it is to bring about holy living and separation of his people from this worldly life to that regenerate life of Christ.      Rom 6:1 ASV - What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 ASV - God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein?
Water baptisim is your confession of your need for salvation and that life Jesus gives.     Is water baptisim essential  unto salvation , Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life
Jhn 14:3 ASV - And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Jhn 14:4 ASV - And whither I go, ye know the way.
Jhn 14:5 ASV - Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way?
Jhn 14:6 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1Pe 3:20 ASV - that aforetime were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water:
1Pe 3:21 ASV - which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;
1Pe 3:22 ASV - who is one the right hand of God, having gone into heaven; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
  Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:
Luk 3:17 ASV - whose fan is in his hand, thoroughly to cleanse his threshing-floor, and to gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.
Rom 8:26 ASV - And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered;
Rom 8:27 ASV - and he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom 8:28 ASV - And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.
Rom 8:29 ASV - For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:
 Jesus said in  Mar 10:27 ASV - Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for all things are possible with God.   Not by works of righteousness we have done but according to his mercy he has saved us we are saved by his grace and he has given us the gift of Faith .  Everything in our lifes depends upon Gods grace his mercy.  Jesus came not only to give us life but a life more abundant .   You must be born again Nicodemus .        Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!
Jhn 3:6 ASV - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

HIS MANIFEST PRESENCE

David Wilkerson
June 22, 2016
Many are familiar with the passage where Paul equates marriage to God’s relationship with the Church: “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church” (Ephesians 5:31–32).
Now note what Isaiah says: “Thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; the God of the whole earth shall he be called” (Isaiah 54:5). Who is the Maker here? It is Christ, creator of heaven and earth. And Isaiah tells us God is our husband. However, the wife has separated herself from her husband: “Your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear” (Isaiah 59:2).
Where do we see this separation today between the Church and God? I see it most obviously in compromised mainline churches. Yet I also see it in the soft-pedaled gospel of post-modern churches. It is evident that there has been a separation from God’s manifest presence. Indeed, it has happened just as Jesus and Paul prophesied. Many have become lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God—having a form of religion with no power; despising the gospel of their fathers; tearing down the old moral landmarks; changing God’s infallible Word to suit the times.
I challenge you to go to any city, from church to church of every evangelical persuasion. Try to find one where you recognize the awesome, manifest presence of Jesus, where you encounter His heart-melting conviction. When the Lord is truly present, you recognize it, whether in the singing, the preaching, or the fellowship. Something stirs your soul, and it produces an awe and a reverence. In my experience, this is rarely found.
I am not condemning modern-day churches; God forbid. But may the Lord help us if we don’t have His manifest presence in these last days. And because of the compromise of such churches, He has had to hide His presence from them for a time.

Zeph 3-9 Peoples Of A Pure Language

These words of Zephaniah are prophesying to the church today ,   can we see a parallel here to the condition of the church and  Gods people than and now .   2Ti 3:15 ASV - And that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.     The old testament was a type and a shadow of better things to come .   These disciples had no bible other than the old testament and it was as you see called sacred writings inspired of God       .
2Ti 3:16 ASV - Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness.
2Ti 3:17 ASV - That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.
I write about these verses in Zephaniah because it is prophetic in the sense of the condition of the world today .  Jesus said my sheep know my voice and they hear me .

Woe to her that is rebellious and polluted! to the oppressing city! - Zep 3:1 ASV
She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in Jehovah; she drew not near to her God. - Zep 3:2 ASV
Her princes in the midst of her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they leave nothing till the morrow. - Zep 3:3 ASV
Her prophets are light and treacherous persons; her priests have profaned the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law. - Zep 3:4 ASV
Jehovah in the midst of her is righteous; he will not do iniquity; every morning doth he bring his justice to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame. - Zep 3:5 ASV
I have cut off nations; their battlements are desolate; I have made their streets waste, so that none passeth by; their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, so that there is no inhabitant. - Zep 3:6 ASV
I said, Only fear thou me; receive correction; so her dwelling shall not be cut off, according to all that I have appointed concerning her: but they rose early and corrupted all their doings. - Zep 3:7 ASV
Judgement is coming friends Jesus gave us Matt 24 ,   its not just words it is a foretelling of Gods wrath upon the evil of this earth .  Jesus said he would come as a thief in the night ,  the word thief and night is a telling truth if you are not watching at all times as the ten virgins five were foolish and sleeping and five were full of oil and their wicks were trimmed  .  Trimmed is to adorn themselves with the pure doctrine   .     Tit 2:10 KJV - Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

 Luk 12:37 ASV - Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them sit down to meat, and shall come and serve them.          Luk 12:38 ASV - And if he shall come in the second watch, and if in the third, and find them so blessed are those servants.
Luk 12:39 ASV - But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not have left his house to be broken through.    The house here is your body your soul your very spirit .  Living that holy life walking in his holiness feeding upon his word daily and in constant prayer for all things in your life.   When he the Holy Spirit comes he will convict the world of Sin and of Righteousness and Judgement to come .  Friend this is that power to live a holy life through Christ Jesus .   Through his spirit he will expose sin in our life's and bring that holiness we need so desperately .  And by his spirit he will bring his truth to live in his righteousness .  And lastly he will make us aware of Gods wrath and to fear him with a clean fear. Godly sorrow works unto repentance and with out repentance no man shall see God.   Obedience to Gods word brings Godly sorrow and having a change of mind unto holy living.         Luk 12:40 ASV - Be ye also ready: for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.
1Th 5:1 ASV - But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that aught be written unto you.
1Th 5:2 ASV - For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
  Greek: kleptes  Thief, Thieves:     metaphorically of "false teachers," Jhn 10:8 the apostate gospel is sneaking up on the unsuspecting sheep of God and this false doctrine is putting them to sleep .  The bible says that with out sanctification no man shall see God .        Night  Greek: nux    metaphorically,   of "the period of man's alienation from God," Rom 13:12; 1Th 5:5, lit., "not of night," where "of" means 'belonging to;' cp. "of the Way," Act 9:2; "of shrinking back" and "of faith," Hbr 10:39,
Heb 12:13 ASV - and make straight paths for your feet, that that which is lame be not turned out of the way, but rather be healed.
Heb 12:14 ASV - Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:   Sanctification      Greek: hagiasmos      Holiness, Holy, Holily:   translated "holiness" in the AV of Rom 6:19, 22; 1Th 4:7; 1Ti 2:15; Hbr 12:14, is always rendered "sanctification"  Separation unto God                Heb 12:15 ASV - looking carefully lest there be any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby the many be defiled;  Forgiveness is an enemy of your life with out forgiveness we can not see God , we must forgive every one that hurts us from the past to present .
This scripture is most important to us all it will either condemn us or raise us up at the last trump unto glory.   It is a truth a commandment of Jesus to us all  , he said he is the only way unto the father no man can come unto the father but by me.  Please take heed to this word and let it work in your hearts for salvation's sake . Remember Jesus said why do you call me lord lord and do not what I say !         Luk 6:31 ASV - And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
Luk 6:35 ASV - But love your enemies, and do them good, and lend, never despairing; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of the Most High: for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.   He is kind to the unthankful and the evil !  so were we at one time in our life and God being longsuffering and kind to us full of mercy and grace he gave Jesus the passover Lamb for our salvation . Love your enemies do good to them and forgive them .We are all earthy people born into sin we have no power to judge or we will be judge by our own words.

Luk 6:36 ASV - Be ye merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
Luk 6:37 ASV - And judge not, and ye shall not be judged: and condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: release, and ye shall be released:    Not forgiving all people in you life that hurt you will condemn you and you will be judged by this very word , its to release so you may be released yourself .  Bitterness will bind you up and it will bind up your family and others around you hear this word looking carefully lest there be any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any Root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby the Many be defiled;  That is why God demands you to forgive your bitterness will defile not only yourself but many others.  Release today with your heart so you may be released the many in your life .                     Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,    The word bruised is so sobering it means to be shattered into pieces , and Jesus suffered that bruising from his father for you .   Only the world rejects people Jesus came to give you life .  He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,
And the promise of your forgiving every one from your heart is the verse below
Luk 6:38 ASV - give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall they give into your bosom. For with what measure ye mete it shall be measured to you again.  To receive Gods forgiveness we must forgive every one with an honest heart .

What is happening now in the earth as we see in the news today.

1Th 5:3 ASV - When they are saying, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in no wise escape.
1Th 5:4 ASV - But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief:
1Th 5:5 ASV - for ye are all sons of light, and sons of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness;
1Th 5:6 ASV - so then let us not sleep, as do the rest, but let us watch and be sober.

Rom 9:21 ASV - Or hath not the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?
Rom 9:22 ASV - What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering vessels of wrath fitted unto destruction:   Be not deceived God is not mocked he is longsuffering and praise God for his love and his mercy , but we have a more sure word 2Pe 1:19 ASV - And we have the word of prophecy made more sure; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts:
2Pe 1:20 ASV - knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture is of private interpretation.
2Pe 1:21 ASV - For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit.
Rom 9:23 ASV - and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he afore prepared unto glory,

Therefore wait ye for me, saith Jehovah, until the day that I rise up to the prey; for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger; for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. - Zep 3:8 ASV
For then will I turn to the peoples of a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Jehovah, to serve him with one consent.               Speaking the same as our confession our agreement  with Gods word his Gospel .     Amo 3:3 ASV - Shall two walk together, except they have agreed?
The only way we can walk with God is to agree with his word , confess his word over our life and our family.   We speak the same as his word confess , if we confess Jesus is our Lord  than he must be our King.

 Zep 3:9 ASV   These people of a pure Language will be Jew and gentile alike a part of the last day church . The language will be the true gospel of God the gospel Jesus preached , he came with the gospel of his father .   Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,   This is the good news the gospel
Mat 4:23 ASV - And Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of disease and all manner of sickness among the people.      Looking closely we see it says the gospel of the kingdom not the gospel of Man !
Mat 24:14 ASV - And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.
Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the Whole creation.
Luk 9:6 ASV - And they departed, and went throughout the villages, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere.
Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the Whole creation.
Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.
Mar 16:17 ASV - And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18 ASV - they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

 Jesus said he was the sower of seed ,   sowing the seed of his father . And Jesus said he came in his fathers name the character , nature and all the authority of his father .  The fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus in bodily form for God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself .         2Co 5:19 ASV - to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Seeing the spiritual from the physical ,      Mar 4:23 ASV - If any man hath ears to hear, let him hear.         Luk 10:23 ASV - And turning to the disciples, he said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:
The old  testament is ,   Heb 8:5 ASV - who serve that which is a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses is warned of God when he is about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern that was showed thee in the mount.     Jhn 5:45 ASV - Think not that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, on whom ye have set your hope.
Jhn 5:46 ASV - For if ye believed Moses, ye would believe me; for he wrote of me.         Luk 16:31 ASV - And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if one rise from the dead.
Luk 24:44 ASV - And he said unto them, These are my words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must needs be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me.
 Col 2:17 ASV - which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ's.
 Greek: skia       Shadow (Noun):
is used  of "a shadow," caused by the interception of light, Mar 4:32, Act 5:15; metaphorically of the darkness and spiritual death of ignorance, Mat 4:16; Luk 1:79;
Heb 8:5 ASV - who serve that which is a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses is warned of God when he is about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou Amo 9:11 KJV - In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:ake all things according to the pattern that was showed thee in the mount.
Jer 33:17 ASV - For thus saith Jehovah: David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
Luk 1:32 ASV - He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Most High: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
 7 But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you]. 8 And He, when He comes, will convict the world about [the guilt of] sin [and the need for a Savior], and about righteousness, and about judgment: 9 about sin [and the true nature of it], because they do not believe in Me [and My message]; 10 about righteousness [personal integrity and godly character], because I am going to My Father and you will no longer see Me; 11 about judgment [the certainty of it], because the ruler of this world (Satan) has been judged and condemned.

The word pure in Zeph 3:9   For then will I turn to the peoples of a Pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Jehovah, to serve him with one consent.   Pure  Heb    barar  to purify, select, polish, choose, purge, cleanse or make bright, test or prove . It is also to purify to cleanse . This is speaking of our souls to the saving of our souls.     Rom 10:9 ASV - because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved:    Confess in the Greek   Greek: homologeo Confess, Confession:
lit., "to speak the same thing" (homos, "same," lego, "to speak"), "to assent, accord, agree with," denotes,
(a) "to confess, declare, admit," Jhn 1:20; e.g., Act 24:14; Hbr 11:13;          Jesus said it not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man , it what comes out of the mouth.

 Jas 1:21 ASV - Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
  Greek: emphutos Implanted:
"implanted," or "rooted" (from emphuo, "to implant"), is used in Jam 1:21, RV, "implanted," for AV, "engrafted," of the Word of God, as the "rooted word," i.e., a word whose property it is to root itself like a seed in the heart. "The AV seems to identify it with emphuteuton, which however would be out of place here, since the word is sown, not grafted, in the heart
Mtt 4:4        But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God .    It is not just feeding our flesh to live but it is to feed our spirit the word of God to live spiritually . That is why Jesus said unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood  .      Jhn 6:53 ASV - Jesus therefore said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye have not life in yourselves.    The gospel of God is our very life every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God has Gods life in it .   Heb 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Jhn 6:54 ASV - He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Jhn 6:55 ASV - For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Jhn 6:56 ASV - He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood abideth in me, and I in him.
Jhn 6:57 ASV - As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he that eateth me, he also shall live because of me.
Jhn 6:51 ASV - I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.   And the word became flesh and dwell among us  ,
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children  of God, even to them that believe on his name: And his name is the power of his word and that power became flesh and walked among men . Jesus said everything you see me do and hear me do that is what you must do also and greater than these shall you do. . He was and is the pattern we conform our life to , Rom 12:1-2     be not conform unto this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind .  And the way we renew our mind is by his word it will transform us into that son God has called .  Jesus said in  Luk 6:46 ASV - And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?  He is giving the truth here in regards to becoming sons he said if you do not consume my word and live it to the fullest which is your cross . The words Jesus spoke was about die to our flesh putting to death the deeds of our flesh .     He said if a man does not pick up his cross and follow me he is not worthy of me .  The so called church today tells the people just except him as your personal savoir and thats it you are saved , what about repentance according to the book of Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?           Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the GIFT of the Holy Spirit.               Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?   Jesus told the two men that asked to set with him in his throne ,  so here he says can you drink the cup which I am about to drink and they said yes.
And Jesus said      Mat 26:39 KJV - And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.  This is the cup we will all drink to enter into the kingdom of our father
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
 Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  Being born of God a new creature created in the likeness of Christ
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.
 Mat 15:18 ASV - But the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth out of the heart; and they defile the man.
Mat 15:19 ASV - For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings:

Phl 3:10 ASV - that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;

Staying Pure in a Wicked Society

  The Late  David Wilkerson
 A classic message from 2004 a great christian brother and prophet of God .

God’s Word tells us it’s possible to remain pure in the midst of an evil society. And the Lord gives his anointing only to those servants who remain pure before him. We see this illustrated in the life of Daniel, who lived in one of the most wicked, immoral societies in all of history.
Babylon was a ruling power in Daniel’s day, a city-state that represented everything ungodly in the world. The Babylonians were notorious for their sensuality and uncleanness, and they had taken Israel captive at the time. While in captivity, Israel got caught up in that society’s wickedness. Israelite men were seduced into Baal houses of prostitution. Sodomites attracted others into sexual sin. Even priests who once feared God were overwhelmed by sensuality, becoming a tainted leadership over God’s people.
All around him, Daniel saw God’s people falling into pits of filth and degradation. Yet, in the midst of such depravity, Daniel determined to draw closer to the Lord. As the days passed and wickedness increased, this man grew even more godly and brokenhearted over Israel’s sin. How did Daniel maintain a truly holy walk in such wicked times? I believe if we can discover Daniel’s path to holiness, we’ll find the key that will help us follow the same path today.
A holy fear of God put Daniel’s face to the ground.
Daniel testified, “Behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words” (Daniel 10:10-12).
Proverbs gives us this powerful verse on the matter: “By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil” (Proverbs 16:6). Note the first part of this verse: mercy and truth work together to purge our iniquity. Yet today, the church places such a heavy emphasis on mercy that we often discount the other vital element in the purging process: truth. What is this truth? It’s the fact that God is wrathful toward sin. If his people are to rid themselves of habitual sin, then we have to walk in the truth about his attitude toward sin.
On the one hand, God’s mercy works to keep us from falling into despair, reminding us we have a loving heavenly Father who’s always ready to forgive our sins. At the same time, the truth of God’s holiness works to produce in us a godly fear. An overemphasis on either one of these elements, mercy or truth, leads to a warped walk with Jesus. Mercy without truth leads to licentiousness and eventually spiritual death. Likewise, truth without mercy leads to despair and ultimately to death.
The fear of God isn’t just an Old Testament concept.
While the Old Testament tells us, “Fear the Lord, and depart from evil” (Proverbs 3:7), the New Testament also speaks of such fear: “Let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God” (2 Corinthians 7:1).
The Bible makes clear that there is a fear of God every believer is to cultivate. That true fear includes an awe and respect, yet it goes much further. Godly fear gives us enabling power to maintain victory in wicked times. Jeremiah prophesies regarding God’s covenant promise: “I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me” (Jeremiah 32:39-40).
Here is a wonderful covenant promise from God, assuring us he’ll provide us with his holy fear. Yet the Lord doesn’t just drop this fear into our hearts by a supernatural manifestation—he plants it in us through his Word. Yet it comes from more than just reading the Scriptures. We obtain a godly fear when we consciously decide we will obey everything we read in his Word. We read of one knowing prophet, “Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord, and to do it” (Ezra 7:10, my emphasis).
Paul writes, “Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents” (1 Corinthians 10:9). This verse is important for all Christians who face temptation. Paul is referring to Israelites who fornicated with Moabite women.
One Israelite who tempted God grievously this way was a man named Zimri. As the remnant in Israel wept and repented over the nation’s sin, Zimri was seeing a Midianite prostitute. In fact, he was so brazen about it, he paraded the woman through the camp in full view of everyone, including Moses, taking her into his tent to fornicate with her. God acted quickly on the matter. Scripture tells us an upright man named Phinehas followed the couple into the tent and slew both Zimri and the Midianite woman.
You may wonder what Paul means exactly when he speaks of “tempting Christ.” Simply put, tempting the Lord means putting him to a test. We tempt him whenever we ask, “How long can I indulge my lusts before God’s anger is stirred? We live in an era of grace with no condemnation toward sinners. How could he judge me, his child?”
Multitudes of Christians casually ask the same questions today as they toy with a wicked temptation. But they’re tempting Christ, all the while they’re casting God’s convicting Word out of their minds. Anytime we go against truth that God’s Spirit has made clear to us, we cast off Paul’s warning: “Let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.... Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand” (1 Corinthians 10:12, 8).
Ask yourself: are you testing the limits of God’s precious gift of grace? Are you tempting Christ to indulge your sin in the face of your outright rebellion? Have you convinced yourself, “I’m a New Covenant believer, covered under Jesus’ blood. Therefore, God won’t judge me”?
Beware! By continuing in your sin, you’re crucifying Christ afresh, as Hebrews warns against (see Hebrews 6:6). How? When you treat Jesus’ great sacrifice with utter disregard, you willfully put him to an open shame, not just in the world’s eyes, but before all of heaven and hell (see 6:6). Paul gives us this exhortation and warning: “These things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted” (1 Corinthians 10:6).
Next, Paul describes a way of avoiding temptation, an escape route that God has made available to all his children: “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (10:13). What is this means of escape? It is a growing knowledge and experience of the holy fear of God.
Why is this message about godly fear so important to the church today?
The Bible tells us in no uncertain terms, “Follow...holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14). Here is the truth, plain and simple: without the holiness imparted by Christ by faith alone—a precious gift we honor by leading a life devoted to obeying his every Word—none of us will see the Lord. This refers not just to heaven but to our present life as well. Without holiness, we won’t see God’s presence in our daily walk, our family, our relationships, our witness, our ministry.
It won’t matter how many Christian conferences we attend, how many recorded sermons we listen to, how many Bible studies we’re involved in. If we refuse to believe God for deliverance from a cancerous sin—if the Lord has a controversy with us over our iniquity— then none of our efforts will produce godly fruit. On the contrary, our sin will only grow more contagious, infecting everyone around us. Of course, this issue goes beyond all lusts of the flesh, to the corruption of the spirit as well. Paul describes the same destructive sin in this passage when he says, “Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer” (1 Corinthians 10:10).
So, dear saint, will you allow the Holy Spirit to deal with any lusts you may be harboring? Will you instead seek and trust in the escape that God has provided for you? I urge you: Cultivate a holy fear of the Lord in these last days. It will keep you broken in spirit, no matter how loudly the wickedness rages around you. And it will enable you to walk in God’s holiness, which holds the promise of his enduring presence.
It is all a matter of faith. Christ has promised to keep you from falling and to give you sin-resisting power—if you’ll believe what he has said. Believe him for this godly fear. Pray for it and welcome it, knowing God will keep his Word to you. You can’t break free from the death-grip of besetting sin by willpower, by promises or by any human effort. “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord” (Zechariah 4:6). Amen!

We Have The Power To Speak Peace Be Still

Part 2
Luk 10:19 ASV - Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.  Tread Greek  to trample, crush with the feet to advance by setting foot upon, tread upon: to encounter successfully the greatest perils from the machinations and persecutions with which Satan would fain thwart the preaching of the gospel .

Luk 10:20 ASV - Nevertheless in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.   I am seeing in this verse the word in Isaiah 61:  10-11    And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels ,  its not physical its a spiritual  power to bind and to loose with keys to the kingdom of heaven we have the power the attributes of God . We need the faith to believe this and walk in this truth.   The gates I spoke of above is holding some of your family or some one you love dearly they are the captives they are spiritual captives . God has sent his son in the likeness of sinful flesh to destroy sin in the flesh.  Jesus has spoken the word of truth to us all we have his words ,   Jesus said Luk 18:7 ASV - And shall not God avenge his elect, that cry to him day and night, and yet he is longsuffering over them?
Luk 18:8 ASV - I say unto you, that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
Mat 21:21 ASV - And Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do what is done to the fig tree, but even if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea, it shall be done.
Mar 11:23 ASV - Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it.
Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the GOSPEL to the whole creation.
Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.  This baptism is the baptism of  Rom 6    We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection. Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;   A Baptism of a spiritual death to die to our carnal nature and take up the nature of Christ Jesus .  Mat 10:38 ASV - And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.

 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved . 1Cor 15 speaks of this truth that flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom of God . This corruptible must put on the incorruptible.    1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  God is not coming back for our flesh he is coming for the fruit of Jesus in you .   Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

1Co 15:53 ASV - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.    The bride adorning herself with her Jewels doing the righteous acts of the saints.
 Rev 19:8  And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints
1Co 15:57 ASV - but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mar 16:17 ASV - And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18 ASV - they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Jesus said to go and Preach this Gospel to the whole creation until he returns And these signs shall accompany them that believe this is the Gospel of Christ.
Jhn 14:11 ASV - Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
Jhn 14:12 ASV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto the Father.
Jhn 14:13 ASV - And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Jhn 14:14 ASV - If ye shall ask anything in my name, that will I do.
Jhn 14:15 ASV - If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments.
Jhn 14:16 ASV - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,
Jhn 14:17 ASV - even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.
 Christ in you the hope of Glory
Jhn 14:18 ASV - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you.
Jhn 14:19 ASV - Yet a little while, and the world beholdeth me no more; but ye behold me: because I live, ye shall live also.
Jhn 14:20 ASV - In that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
Jhn 14:12 ASV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto the Father.   If a person wants to put something together he has not known before he MUST follow the directions .   We have this glorious word to lead us to guide us ,  how is it the church has gone so far from the truth . Its here in his word and it is truth to live by ,  who has said this is not truth .    Jesus is the bread of life we must eat his flesh and drink his blood to obtain life eternal .   The bread being the very words of life and the blood being his very nature all that he is his   character  , nature and his authority all that he is .    He came to show us the way and the truth and the light and he said now you know the way and how to get to where I am   .    In these last days as times become darker and darker and evil is all around the church only .         Psa 91:1 ASV - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:5 ASV - Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Psa 91:6 ASV - For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Psa 91:7 ASV - A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee.
Rev 17:14 ASV - These shall war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they also shall overcome that are with him, called and chosen and faithful.

 Only  your total and complete faith will save you .    When Jesus comes back for his church will he find Faith

Mark 4:39 And He Said Peace Be Still

Part 1

Mar 4:35 ASV - And on that day, when even was come, he saith unto them, Let us go over unto the other side.
Mar 4:36 ASV - And leaving the multitude, they take him with them, even as he was, in the boat. And other boats were with him.
Mar 4:37 ASV - And there ariseth a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the boat, insomuch that the boat was now filling.
Mar 4:38 ASV - And he himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion: and they awake him, and say unto him, Teacher, carest thou not that we perish?
Mar 4:39 ASV - And he awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Mar 4:40 ASV - And he said unto them, Why are ye fearful? have ye not yet faith?
Mar 4:41 ASV - And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?   Every thing Jesus did on this earth was for a sign an example to the believers .  The old testament calls him the pattern son ,  a pattern is something we follow for direction in this life .   Because the Jews did not know him in the flesh seeing only in the letter of the law they obeyed and not the spirit of God.   They refused the Christ and his words ,  Jesus said if another man comes in his own name him you will receive I come in my fathers name and you do not believe me.         Jhn 5:43 ASV - I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
Jhn 5:44 ASV - How can ye believe, who receive glory one of another, and the glory that cometh from the only God ye seek not?
Jhn 5:45 ASV - Think not that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, on whom ye have set your hope.
Jhn 5:46 ASV - For if ye believed Moses, ye would believe me; for he wrote of me.
Jhn 5:47 ASV - But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
Only by Gods spirit can a man know and see God at work in his life ,  to see things in the flesh only reaps flesh to see things in his spirit brings life everlasting .
   AMP  2Cor 3 3 Are we starting to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some [false teachers], letters of recommendation to you or from you? [No!] 2 You are our letter [of recommendation], written in our hearts, recognized and read by everyone. 3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.    6 He has qualified us [making us sufficient] as ministers of a new covenant [of salvation through Christ], not of the letter [of a written code] but of the Spirit; for the letter [of the Law] kills [by revealing sin and demanding obedience], but the Spirit gives life.   Gods children live a spiritual life a life of faith believing all things freely given to us.     1Co 2:10 ASV - But unto us God revealed them through the Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Co 2:11 ASV - For who among men knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of the man, which is in him? even so the things of God none knoweth, save the Spirit of God.
1Co 2:12 ASV - But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13 ASV - Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Spirit teacheth; combining spiritual things with spiritual words.
1Co 2:14 ASV - Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.
1Co 2:16 ASV - For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.       There must be a filling up of Gods spirit in you , a true  manifestation of Gods presence in your life .  Not by works of righteousness we have done but according to his mercy he has saved us .   Doing all things in the name of Jesus
Luk 24:44 ASV - And he said unto them, These are my words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must needs be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me.
Luk 24:49 ASV - And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.     We put on that robe of righteousness the garments of salvation .    AMP   Isaiah 61;10-11   I will rejoice greatly in the Lord,
My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has covered me with a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom puts on a turban,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels .
 The jewels are the knowledge and understanding of the righteousness it speaks of the jewels being a  vessel .        1Co 6:19 ASV - Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;
1Co 6:20 ASV - for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.

AMP   Isaiah 61;10-11   I will rejoice greatly in the Lord,
My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has covered me with a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom puts on a turban,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels .
11  For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,
And as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring up,
So the Lord God will [most certainly] cause righteousness and justice and praise
To spring up before all the nations [through the power of His word].
Jesus was crowned with a crown of thorns and the thorns are a symbol of our sinful nature  .   KJV says he will be dressed with a garland , such as an olive branch for a crown .  Just as to day in as the winner of race receives the victors crown of olive branches so to will Jesus have his victors crown.
 And his bride will be adorned with her Jewels ,   Jewels being according to scripture
 Rev 19:7 ASV - Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8 ASV - And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.    I am reminded of the marriage supper of the masters son .      Mat 22:11 ASV - But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:
Mat 22:12 ASV - and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.    This corruptible must put on the incorruptible ,  Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  Jesus said he was the way the truth and the life , 1Jo 3:1 ASV - Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is Manifested Greek: phaneroo
Appear, Appearing:
akin to No. 1, signifies, in the Active Voice, "to manifest;" in the Passive Voice, "to be manifested;" so, regularly, in the RV, instead of "to appear." See 2Cr 7:12; Col 3:4; Hbr 9:26; 1Pe 5:4; 1Jo 2:28; 3:2; Rev 3:18. To be manifested, in the Scriptural sense of the word, is more than to "appear." A person may "appear" in a false guise or without a disclosure of what he truly is; to be manifested is to be revealed in one's true character; this is especially the meaning of phaneroo, see, e.g., Jhn 3:21; 1Cr 4:5; 2Cr 5:10, 11; Eph 5:13
 Jhn 1:9 ASV - There was the true light, even the light which lighteth every man, coming into the world.

Rev 19:9 ASV - And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they that are bidden to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are true words of God.

Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
Jhn 16:8 ASV - And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:    The word says a natural man cannot understand the spiritual things of God , so we must be filled with Gods spirit to be able to hear him and understand him when he speaks.   Jesus said my sheep know me and hear my voice ,        Jhn 10:27 ASV - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:    We hear the voice of Gods spirit as it abides with us.   To be convicted of our sin is to be filled with Godly sorrow for our sins and that Godly sorrow brings repentance not regretted of we embrace his nature and his righteousness and walk in his truth.    Sin and righteousness and judgement  it says that the spirit will convict the world or mankind to walk in holiness and sanctification with out which no man shall see God.   Heb 12:14 ASV - Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:
Jhn 10:28 ASV - and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand.
Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.
Act 19:1 ASV - And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper country came to Ephesus, and found certain disciples:
Act 19:2 ASV - and he said unto them, Did ye receive the Holy Spirit when ye believed? And they said unto him, Nay, we did not so much as hear whether the Holy Spirit was given.
Act 19:3 ASV - And he said, Into what then were ye baptized? And they said, Into John's baptism.
Act 19:4 ASV - And Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people that they should believe on him that should come after him, that is, on Jesus.
Act 19:5 ASV - And when they heard this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
Act 19:6 ASV - And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Act 19:7 ASV - And they were in all about twelve men.

Amo 3:1 ASV - Hear this word that Jehovah hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up out of the land of Egypt, saying,
Amo 3:2 ASV - You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will visit upon you all your iniquities.
Amo 3:3 ASV - Shall two walk together, except they have agreed?    God is reminding the children of his covenant and how he demands obedience to his word . We walk with Christ by agreement to his words and obeying his word.
This blog is intended to bring about the understanding of the power of the Name of Jesus given to his church the church that the gates of hell shall not prevail against.   Gates are intended for two things , to keep something out or to keep something in.   Now this verse explains that the gates we war against are from hell its self.  Jesus said behold I give you power over all the power of satan .   Luk 10:18 ASV - And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven.   Gods judgement upon evil ,  and his promises of power over the evil around us
