Swallowed Up Of Life.

  The only the life we have is in Jesus and the only power we have is in his blood .     Listen the world is imploding and everything that does not manifest light is going the way of evil.   The distraction of the world will confuse and distort the way of the cross for us. THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE .

  Luk 10:19 ASV - Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.       Serpents attack your mind and Scorpions attack your flesh .
Eph 6:12 ASV - For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Eph 6:13 ASV - Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14 ASV - Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Eph 6:15 ASV - and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 ASV - withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
Eph 6:17 ASV - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
The moment you believed in Jesus and his name according to the verse in John 1:12-13 it says that he gave you the right to BECOME his children.  It is a process of holy living     I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service .  We have a flesh body but we do not live after our flesh . We must walk in the Holy Spirit and put to death the deeds of our flesh .
Eph 1:3 ASV - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ:
Eph 1:4 ASV - even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love:
Eph 1:5 ASV - having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Eph 1:6 ASV - to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved:
Eph 1:7 ASV - in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,
Eph 1:8 ASV - which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,
Eph 1:9 ASV - making known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him
Eph 1:10 ASV - unto a dispensation of the fulness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in him, I say,
We go from a carnal fleshly world to a spiritual world ,  Jesus has given us everything  necessary to overcome this earth this evil of a carnal mind.  And if you read closely you will see what being born again is .   The worldly church has lied to the people for years . Their doctrines are the doctrines of devils,  Paul said if any man preach any other doctrine than the Gospel of God  that Jesus preached let them be accursed.   To be born again is a process of holy living and sanctification not by works of the flesh but by surrender to the cross Jesus speaks of in the gospels.   And he says that any man that will not pick up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. The word cross saturo in the Greek is an instrument of suffering ,
2Pe 1:5 ASV - Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in your virtue knowledge;
2Pe 1:6 ASV - and in your knowledge self-control; and in your self-control patience; and in your patience godliness;
 The word SELF      Greek: enkrateia        Temperance, Temperate:
from kratos, "strength," occurs in Act 24:25; Gal 5:23; 2Pe 1:6 (twice), in all of which it is rendered "temperance;" the RV marg., "self-control" is the preferable rendering, as "temperance" is now limited to one form of self-control; the various powers bestowed by God upon man are capable of abuse; the right use demands the controlling power of the will under the operation of the Spirit of God; in Act 24:25 the word follows "righteousness," which represents God's claims, self-control being man's response thereto; in 2Pe 1:6, it follows "knowledge," suggesting that what is learned requires to be put into practice.
Putting to death the deeds of our flesh .    Jesus said more than once ,   I have many spiritual things to tell you but right now you can not BEAR them.     Jhn 16:12 ASV - I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.   We die daily for the sake of the hope that is in us Christ in you the hope of glory

  Bear:   Greek: bastazo

"to bear" a burden, whether physically, as of the Cross, Jhn 19:17, or metaphorically in respect of sufferings endured in the cause of Christ, Luk 14:27; Rev 2:3; it is said of physical endurance, Mat 20:12; of sufferings "borne" on behalf of others, Mat 8:17; Rom 15:1; Gal 6:2; of spiritual truths not able to be "borne," Jhn 16:12; of the refusal to endure evil men, Rev 2:2; of religious regulations imposed on others, Act 15:10; of the burden of the sentence of God to be executed in due time, Gal 5:10; of the effect at the Judgment Seat of Christ, to be "borne" by the believer for failure in the matter of discharging the obligations of discipleship, Gal 6:5

Salvation is a life time of obedience of prayer and fasting and sacrifice on our cross , it is not instantaneous we have a walk to fulfill.    We are saved by grace Eph 2:8 ASV - for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;     Grace is all the benefits the promises we receive when we believe , and Faith  "faith," is translated "belief" in Rom 10:17; 2Th 2:13. Its chief significance is a conviction respecting God and His Word and the believer's relationship to Him. When Jesus speaks about those in the last days to depart from him because I never knew you , I never had a relationship with you .

Rom 12:3 ASV - For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think as to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each man a measure of faith.
Eph 4:13 ASV - till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a fullgrown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Mat 13:31 ASV - Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:  Faith comth by hearing and hearing by the word of God  ,
Mat 13:32 ASV - which indeed is less than all seeds; but when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the heaven come and lodge in the branches thereof.
Jde 1:20 ASV - But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit
Rom 6:19 ASV - I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness unto sanctification.    Sanctification        separation to God, 1Cr 1:30; 2Th 2:13; 1Pe 1:2;
(b) the resultant state, the conduct befitting those so separated, 1Th 4:3, 4, 7, and the four other places mentioned above. "Sanctification" is thus the state predetermined by God for believers, into which in grace He calls them, and in which they begin their Christian course and so pursue it. Hence they are called "saints" (hagioi).

  Eph 3:4 ASV - whereby, when ye read, ye can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ;
Eph 3:5 ASV - which in other generation was not made known unto the sons of men, as it hath now been revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;
Eph 3:6 ASV - to wit, that the Gentiles are fellow-heirs, and fellow-members of the body, and fellow-partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,
Eph 3:9 ASV - and to make all men see what is the dispensation of the mystery which for ages hath been hid in God who created all things;
Eph 3:10 ASV - to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,
Eph 3:11 ASV - according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
Eph 3:12 ASV - in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him.
Eph 3:16 ASV - that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;
Eph 3:17 ASV - that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Eph 3:18 ASV - may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
Eph 3:19 ASV - and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God.
Eph 6:18 ASV - with all prayer and supplication praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,

2Co 5:4 ASV - For indeed we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened; not for that we would be unclothed, but that we would be clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up of life.
2Co 5:5 ASV - Now he that wrought us for this very thing is God, who gave unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
2Co 5:6 ASV - Being therefore always of good courage, and knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord
2Co 5:7 ASV - (for we walk by faith, not by sight);

Tit 1:15 ASV - To the pure all things are pure: but to them that are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.
Power to tread upon Serpents and Scorpions Jesus is speaking of our warfare in the Holy Spirit
When it speaks  in Revelations about the mark of the beast and the mark being upon the forehead or the hand . The spiritual understand to Serpents is when Jesus said you are of your father the devil having the mind of your father .  The mark on the hand is do the works of the devil with you hand you do evil so the mark here is not physical it is spiritual . There can be a physical mark also.

 Rom 12:1 ASV - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The way we renew our minds is by obedience to Gods word it will as we obey cause us to become the children of God .  Gods word is that fire that John spoke of in the beginning of his ministry.

Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:
Greek: pur
Fire:
of the holiness of God, which consumes all that is inconsistent therewith, Hbr 10:27; 12:29; cp. Rev 1:14; 2:18; 10:1; 15:2; 19:12; similarly of the holy angels as His ministers, Hbr 1:7; in Rev 3:18 it is symbolic of that which tries the faith of saints, producing what will glorify the Lord

Psa 149:6 ASV - Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand;
Heb 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.    This sword is our salvation  it is our only hope in the end ,  this word will renew our minds to conform unto the image of Christ Jesus .

 1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.
The manifestation here is the light of his word in us  .
 Jhn 1:4 ASV - In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Jhn 1:9 ASV - There was the true light, even the light which lighteth every man, coming into the world.
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Purified By Fire

 Mat 5:8 ASV - Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
 Pure  Greek: katharos      Clean, Cleanness, Cleanse, Cleansing:
"free from impure admixture, without blemish, spotless .  clean, pure

1.    physically
2.    purified by fire
3.    in a similitude, like a vine cleansed by pruning and so fitted to bear fruit .

4.    Jhn 15:2 ASV - Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit.
5.    Jhn 15:3 ASV - Already ye are clean because of the word which I have spoken unto you.
6.    Jhn 15:4 ASV - Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me.
Jhn 15:5 ASV - I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing.
Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:      Fire:  Greek: pur
            Fire  of the holiness of God, which consumes all that is inconsistent therewith, Hbr 10:27; 12:29; cp. Rev 1:14; 2:18; 10:1; 15:2; 19:12; similarly of the holy angels as His ministers, Hbr 1:7; in Rev 3:18 it is symbolic of that which tries the faith of saints, producing what will glorify the Lord .  In the old testament when the Israelite's went into battle and after the battle all the weapons of war would have to pass through the fire for a cleansing , they were cleansed with fire.    And every thing that could not go through the fire was cleansed with water such as garments , clothing and leather etc.   The type here is that we are baptized with his spirit and than we are cleansed with the fire of his spirit .  And the water being the word of God we are washed by his word as we receive it and obey .   Please remember we are still talking about the pure in heart shall see God , this is not speaking about the end of time . It is speaking about the moment you surrender to his cross . Jesus said in Luke 17:20-21  That the kingdom of God is in the hearts of men at that moment , salvation is an on going process ,   a life time of total surrender and obedience.

Luk 9:27 ASV - But I tell you of a truth, There are some of them that stand here, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.
Jhn 14:3 ASV - And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Jhn 14:4 ASV - And whither I go, ye know the way.
Jhn 14:6 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.   It is about taking up our cross and walking with Jesus , he told us the way .  The carnal man has to die the blood of Adam must be put to death and we must be born again , the fire is our cross it cleanses us and brings to our sacrifice that is the only way to walk in his kingdom.  Jesus is speaking of his death on his cross , he was the seed that fell into the ground and died .  And now he has brought about a body of believers a church triumphant and we are his seed his offspring .   If we believe on his name he gives us the right to Become sons of God .   This word Become is the key to our salvation ,  I am not speaking of works in the flesh I am speaking of holiness,  of living a sanctified life before and unto God .   Only by his spirit living in us can we Understand his will for our life's .  When he he the spirit of truth has come
Mat 13:19 ASV - When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the evil one, and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side.
 Hearing the word of the kingdom Gods seed is planted sown in your heart .  The word goes to our hearts , the mind the will and the emotion of our being our soul.  But look closely at what happens when that precious word is not received with repentance . Listen repentance is the only way to hold this word deep in our hearts .   There is another gospel being preach through out the world , there is only one gospel and that is the gospel Jesus preached to the beginning of the church . His fathers word to all man kind.      1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.   We are living now in that flesh of Adam our carnal mind set , we are a living soul and Jesus has come to save our souls.    Do you hear repentance in your place of worship , is holiness preached and separation unto God a commandant.   There is onlyone way unto the father and his kingdom here on earth .        Jhn 10:1 ASV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.     There is only one gospel and only one way , remember Jesus said he is the way the truth and the life the only door unto his father .
Jhn 10:2 ASV - But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
Jhn 10:3 ASV - To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.     Porter:    Greek: thuroros
"a door-keeper" (thura, "a door," ouros, "a guardian"), is translated "porter" in Mar 13:34; Jhn 10:3; it is used of a female in Jhn 18:16, 17, translated "(her) that kept the door." In the Sept., 2Sa 4:6; 2Ki 7:11; Eze 44:11.    Could this be the new testament church the called out ones the saints of God , the ministers of the true gospel .   The church triumphant with power and gifts , preaching the gospel with power
Mar 16:15-20 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.  Whole creation is until the end of this age ,  Jesus is in his church Mar 16:19 ASV - So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
Mar 16:20 ASV - And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.    Mar 16:17 ASV - And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;

 Mat 13:19 ASV - When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the evil one, and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side.
 Greek: suniemi     Understand, Understood:
primarily, "to bring or set together," is used metaphorically of "perceiving, understanding, uniting" (sun), so to speak, the perception with what is perceived, e.g., Mat 13:13-15, 19, 23, 51; 15:10; 16:12; 17:13, and similar passages in Mark and Luke; Act 7:25 (twice); Act 28:26, 27; in Rom 3:11, the present participle, with the article, is used as a noun, lit., "there is not the understanding (one)," in a moral and spiritual sense; Rom 15:21; 2Cr 10:12, RV, "are (without) understanding," AV, "are (not) wise;" Eph 5:17, RV, "understand."

Eph 3:16 ASV - that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;
Eph 3:17 ASV - that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Eph 3:18 ASV - may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
The word Apprehend    Greek: katalambano     Apprehend:
properly signifies "to lay hold of;" then, "to lay hold of so as to possess as one's own, to appropriate." Hence it has the same twofold meaning as the Eng. "to apprehend;"
(a), "to seize upon, take possession of,"
(1) with a beneficial effect, as of "laying hold" of the righteousness which is of faith, Rom 9:30 (not there a matter of attainment, as in the Eng. versions, but of appropriation); of the obtaining of a prize, 1Cr 9:24 (RV, "attain"); of the Apostle's desire "to apprehend," or "lay hold of," that for which he was apprehended by Christ, Phl 3:12, 13;
(2) with a detrimental effect, e.g., of demon power, Mar 9:18; of human action in seizing upon a person, Jhn 8:3, 4; metaphorically, with the added idea of overtaking, of spiritual darkness in coming upon people, Jhn 12:35; of the Day of the Lord, in suddenly coming upon unbelievers as a thief, 1Th 5:4;
(b), "to lay hold of" with the mind, to understand, perceive, e.g., metaphorically, of darkness with regard to light, Jhn 1:5, though possibly here the sense is that of (a) as in Jhn 12:35; of mental perception, Act 4:13; 10:34; 25:25; Eph 3:18.

Eph 3:19 ASV - and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God.
One last thought
Luk 17:12 ASV - And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, who stood afar off:
Luk 17:13 ASV - and they lifted up their voices, saying, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
Luk 17:14 ASV - And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go and show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, as they went, they were cleansed.
Luk 17:15 ASV - And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, with a loud voice glorifying God;
Luk 17:16 ASV - and he fell upon his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
Luk 17:17 ASV - And Jesus answering said, Were not the ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
Luk 17:18 ASV - Were there none found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger?
Luk 17:19 ASV - And he said unto him, Arise, and go thy way: thy faith hath made thee Whole.

This word Whole    Greek: sozo   Heal, Healing:
"to save," is translated by the verb "to heal" in the AV of Mar 5:23; Luk 8:36 (RV, "to make whole;" so AV frequently); the idea is that of saving from disease and its effects.

Thy faith hath made thee whole.

Eph 6:10 ASV - Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
Eph 6:11 ASV - Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.                Greek: methodia or -eia           Wiles:
denotes "craft, deceit" (meta, "after," hodos, "a way"). "a cunning device, a wile," and is translated "wiles (of error)" in Eph 4:14, RV [AV paraphrases it, "they lie in wait (to deceive)"], lit., "(with a view to) the craft (singular) of deceit;" in Eph 6:11, "the wiles (plural) (of the Devil.)"
Mat 16:1 ASV - And the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and trying him asked him to show them a sign from heaven.

And he left them, and departed.    Jesus said he was anointed to preach his fathers word ,   after his death it says he not only ascended but he also descended  into the .          Eph 4:7 ASV - But unto each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Eph 4:8 ASV - Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men.   Isaiah 61:1 and Luke 4:18   when the pharisees and scribes called out Jesus for breaking the Sabbath when his disciples were plucking heads of grain and rubbing then in their hands to eat . They accused Jesus of reaping and threshing on the Sabbath . Jesus reminded them of David and his men eating the shew bread .   David knew God and his grace and he knew the Lord  . He ask the priest if he had any common bread , and the priest said no common bread but only holy bread.   And this bread was a type of Jesus and the lamps always shown upon the loafs of bread on the table of shew bread . If any man eat of this bread he shall never hunger again .   There is no common bread in Gods kingdom only the word made flesh
Jesus told them the son of man is Lord of the Sabbath , Jesus was telling them he has fulfilled the Law at his coming and his sacrifice would seal his authority.     Rom 8:3 ASV - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Eph 4:9 ASV - (Now this, He ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth?      Some scholars say this is where Jesus went and preached the gospel to those who were before his coming .    Jesus is the Passover Lamb
Eph 4:10 ASV - He that descended is the same also that ascended far above all the heavens, that he might FILL all things.)      The word FILL         Greek: pleroo  Accomplish, Accomplishment:
"to fulfill, to complete, carry out to the full" (as well as to fill), is translated "perfect" in Rev 3:2, AV; RV, "I have found no works of thine fulfilled before My God;" "accomplish" in Luk 9:31.
See COMPLETE, END, EXPIRE, FILL, FULFILL, FULL, PREACH.
Note: Its strengthened form, ekpleroo, "to fulfill," lit., "fill out," is used in Act 13:33, of the fulfillment of a Divine promise of the resurrection of Christ.      to make full, to fill up, i.e. to fill to the full
1.    to cause to abound, to furnish or supply liberally
2.    I abound, I am liberally supplied
to render full, i.e. to complete
1.    to fill to the top: so that nothing shall be wanting to full measure, fill to the brim
2.    to consummate: a number
3.    to make complete in every particular, to render perfect
4.    to carry through to the end, to accomplish, carry out
Eph 4:11 ASV - And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;     This is where the gospel is preached today these men and men and women today are being anointed to proclaim this glorious gospel , Jesus is still calling men with these special gifts .
Eph 4:12 ASV - for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:    Perfecting       Greek: katartismos              Perfection, Perfecting (Noun), Perfectness:
denotes, in much the same way as No. 1, "a fitting or preparing fully," Eph 4:12.
Remember the verse above Eph 4:10     the word Fill    , that he might FILL all things.)
1Co 12:4 ASV - Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
1Co 12:5 ASV - And there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord.
1Co 12:6 ASV - And there are diversities of workings, but the same God, who worketh all things in ALL.
1Co 12:7 ASV - But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal.
1Co 12:8 ASV - For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit:
1Co 12:9 ASV - to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit;
1Co 12:10 ASV - and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues:
1Co 12:11 ASV - but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one severally even as he will.
1Co 12:12 ASV - For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
1Co 12:13 ASV - For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink of one Spirit.
1Co 12:14 ASV - For the body is not one member, but many.
How can Gods people manifest these gifts today with out his spirit living in them ,  and I am speaking of the experience of the book of Acts 2  Jesus told them to stay in Jerusalem UNTIL they be FILLED with the spirit of God . Peter said this promise is to you and your children's children even to as many as the Lord our God shall CALL . Jesus said and this gospel shall be preached
Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.     Whole  creation  to the ends of the earth

    All the world      radically means "all." Used without the article it means "every," every kind or variety. So the RV marg. in Eph 2:21, "every building," and the text in Eph 3:15, "every family," and the RV marg. of Act 2:36, "every house;" or it may signify "the highest degree," the maximum of what is referred to, as, "with all boldness" Act 4:29. Before proper names of countries, cities and nations, and before collective terms, like "Israel," it signifies either "all" or "the whole," e.g., Mat 2:3; Act 2:36. Used with the article, it means the whole of one object. In the plural it signifies "the totality of the persons or things referred to." Used without a noun it virtually becomes a pronoun, meaning "everyone" or "anyone." In the plural with a noun it means "all." One form of the neuter plural (panta) signifies "wholly, together, in all ways, in all things," Act 20:35; 1Cr 9:25. The neuter plural without the article signifies "all things severally," e.g., Jhn 1:3; 1Cr 2:10; preceded by the article it denotes "all things," as constituting a whole, e.g., Rom 11:36; 1Cr 8:6; Eph 3:9.
See EVERY, Note (1), WHOLE.

Jesus was speaking to you also when he said I will not leave you comfortless I will come unto you and abide in you .  Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.
Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
Jhn 16:8 ASV - And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:    Jesus is speaking of the Holy spirit here coming to live in his people to those that believe ,   My sheep know my voice and they hear me ,  Jesus said he came not to judge the world to to save men . The only way for men to know Christ in an intimate way to have  that relationship to commune with him . He has come to abide in us and to sup with us
Rev 3:20 ASV - Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
  Greek: deipneo         Sup:
"to sup" (said of taking the chief meal of the day), occurs in Luk 17:8; 22:20 (in the best texts), lit., "(the) supping;" so 1Cr 11:25; metaphorically in Rev 3:20, of spiritual communion between Christ and the faithful believer.
The door here is your heart that is where the seed of Jesus the sower sows the word of his father and when it falls into the good ground and bears fruit some thirty,sixty and a hundred fold .
   Greek: thura      Door:
"a door, gate" (Eng., "door" is connected), is used
(a) literally, e.g., Mat 6:6; 27:60;
(b) metaphorically, of Christ, Jhn 10:7, 9; of faith, by acceptance of the Gospel, Act 14:27; of "openings" for preaching and teaching the Word of God, 1Cr 16:9; 2Cr 2:12; Col 4:3; Rev 3:8; of "entrance" into the Kingdom of God, Mat 25:10; Luk 13:24, 25; of Christ's "entrance" into a repentant believer's heart, Rev 3:20; of the nearness of Christ's second advent, Mat 24:33; Mar 13:29; cp. Jam 5:9; of "access" to behold visions relative to the purposes of God, Rev 4:1.

The verses below are the working of the Spirit of God working in your heart ,  but a man must first believe and as Peter said when he convicted them of their sins they were pricked in their Hearts  and said What must we do to be saved !         Act 2:36 ASV - Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.
Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
Act 2:40 ASV - And with many other words he testified, and exhorted them, saying, Save yourselves from this crooked generation.
Act 2:41 ASV - They then that received his word were baptized: and there were added unto them in that day about three thousand souls.
John said in      Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in FIRE:            Greek: pur        Fire:
of the holiness of God, which consumes all that is inconsistent therewith, Hbr 10:27; 12:29; cp. Rev 1:14; 2:18; 10:1; 15:2; 19:12; similarly of the holy angels as His ministers, Hbr 1:7; in Rev 3:18 it is symbolic of that which tries the faith of saints, producing what will glorify the Lord;
(b) of the Divine judgment, testing the deeds of believers, at the judgment seat of Christ, 1Cr 3:13, 15;
You must be filled with the Holy Spirit of God to hear his voice and to be purged with this fire of holiness .      Its not just confessing the Lord as your personal savior but to repent having a change of mind and living that life of separation unto God .

 2Co 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Regret:
Greek: ametameletos
"not repented of" (a, negative, and A), is translated "which bringeth no regret" in 2Cr 7:10, RV, said of repentance (AV, "not to be repented of"); elsewhere, in Rom 11:29.
Luk 3:17 ASV - whose fan is in his hand, thoroughly to cleanse his threshing-floor, and to gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.   The threshing floor is our hearts before God and the chaff is the carnal man in us the Curse of Adam .  This is a type and shadow of all sacrifices in the old testament the flesh had to be consumed with fire and through this sacrifice there is forgiveness and remission of our sins.    And these are the works of the flesh      Gal 5:19 and than we have the fruit of the spirit and the fruit of Jesus  is     Gal 5:22 ASV - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 ASV - meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.   And Jesus has fulfulled the Law there is no law against the spirit of Christ Jesus.
Gal 5:24 ASV - And they that are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts thereof.
Gal 5:25 ASV - If we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also walk.

Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.
Mar 16:17 ASV - And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;   Tongues are for the believer to manifest the power of God . Paul said     1Co 12:27 ASV - Now ye are the body of Christ, and severally members thereof.
Mar 16:18 ASV - they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

1Co 12:28 ASV - And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, divers kinds of tongues.
1Co 12:29 ASV - Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
1Co 12:30 ASV - have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
1Co 12:31 ASV - But desire earnestly the greater gifts. And moreover a most excellent way show I unto you.       All of these gifts are important to the perfection of the church and Paul speaks in 1cor 13 the most excellent way of all , But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is LOVE

Darkness is coming over the whole earth an evil that has come to blind the eyes of men every where and turn their hearts to appease their fleshly appetites .    1Jo 2:11 ASV - But he that hateth his brother is in the darkness, and walketh in the darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because the darkness hath blinded his eyes.
1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jo 2:17 ASV - And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1Jo 2:18 ASV - Little children, it is the last hour: and as ye heard that antichrist cometh, even now have there arisen many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last hour.
1Pe 4:6 ASV - For unto this end was the gospel preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
1Pe 4:7 ASV - But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore of sound mind, and be sober unto prayer:
1Pe 4:8 ASV - above all things being fervent in your love among yourselves; for love covereth a multitude of sins:
1Pe 4:10 ASV - according as each hath received a gift, ministering it among yourselves, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God;

Eph 6:14 ASV - Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Eph 6:15 ASV - and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 ASV - withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
Eph 6:17 ASV - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Eph 6:18 ASV - with all prayer and supplication praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

Mat 25: 1-10 And while they went away to buy, the bridegroom came

Listen the world is changing fast and I believe we are seeing it every day , its not business as usual conforming our self's unto this world .    No we must transform ourselves by the renewing of our minds by Gods word . Rom 12:1-2
The majority of Gods people are asleep and we must be awake and be in prayer constantly .  We must prepare now to be spiritually in his presence and petitioning the Lord for our souls and our family's souls . The greatest power we have is this word and to use it with faith .  The devil is working fast now the world is getting darker spiritually , and this country has been judged by Gods word.   Now is the time to start praying for those we love and all others in our life .  As I said Saturday  the battle is for our minds The word speaks about the heart of man for out of the heart flows the issues of life, and God is after our hearts ,   The word says Jesus has come to save us Body ,Soul and spirit .   And the word soul is our Mind and our Will and Emotions .  The word says That God sent his word to heal us , Jesus is that implanted word in you.
Jas 1:17 ASV - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.
Jas 1:18 ASV - Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Jas 1:19 ASV - Ye know this, my beloved brethren. But let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
Jas 1:20 ASV - for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
Jas 1:21 ASV - Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
Greek: sozo to SAVE     Heal, Healing:
"to save," is translated by the verb "to heal" in the AV of Mar 5:23; Luk 8:36 (RV, "to make whole;" so AV frequently); the idea is that of saving from disease and its effects.
Greek: emphutos   Implanted:
"implanted," or "rooted" (from emphuo, "to implant"), is used in Jam 1:21, RV, "implanted," for AV, "engrafted," of the Word of God, as the "rooted word," i.e., a word whose property it is to root itself like a seed in the heart. "The AV seems to identify it with emphuteuton, which however would be out of place here, since the word is sown, not grafted, in the heart"

2Co 1:20 ASV - For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us.
We have this great word and its power .  The sword of the spirit is alive and active to do battle against every evil force .  This scripture says it is YES and Amen.   Not some day or later on or if its Gods will , No this word says that God does not need to be begged into releasing these precious promises .  It is absolute and given already . Its our faith that wanes and is double minded at times ,  James says a double minded man is unstable in ALL his ways.   For God so loved the world that is you and I that if we believe in him Jesus the Christ and his name we will not perish , our souls will not perish .  But will obtain ever lasting life Perish Greek: apollumi   Lose, (Suffer) Loss, Lost:
Mat 10:28 KJV - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.    God is not going to save this flesh ,   1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.     Jhn 12:24 ASV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit.  The grain of wheat being the word of God Jesus being the sower ,  Jesus was one man on this earth he had to die to bring the many chosen into this salvation . From a single man into a complete body of believers . The church of Jesus Christ and you are the fruit of his sacrifice .      Isa 53:10 ASV - Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.  You the believer are the seed of Christ the fruit of his sacrifice .    But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:    who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Through faith in the son of God and in his name we go from being Adams offspring to the offspring of Christ Jesus.     1Co 15:44 ASV - it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

1Co 15:20 ASV - But now hath Christ been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of them that are asleep.
1Co 15:23 ASV - But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ's, at his coming.
Jas 1:18 ASV - Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Jhn 12:25 ASV - He that loveth his life loseth it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption .       Heb 9:27 ASV - And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this cometh judgment;   Jesus is the sower of the seed of his fathers word , and this seed when it falls into the good ground  an honest Heart it transforms that spirit soul unto a son of God . Your father is after the fruit of Christ in you the hope of glory not your flesh.   Adam had a body just as you and I have and it had to die .

Rom 7:14 ASV - For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Heb 7:16 ASV - who hath been made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life:  The law of liberty in Christ Jesus who has delivered us from the law of sin and death  .     Col 2:14 ASV - having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out that way, nailing it to the cross;
Realizing that the nails in his body is what held him to the cross ,       Rom 6:1 ASV - What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 ASV - God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein?
Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Rom 6:7 ASV - for he that hath died is justified from sin.      Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!
Jhn 3:6 ASV - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Heb 9:28 ASV - so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.
1Co 15:51 ASV - Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed,
2Co 1:21 ASV - Now he that establisheth us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God;
2Co 1:22 ASV - who also sealed us, and gave us the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
I say the devil is after our minds spiritually to put us to sleep , just as the parable of the ten virgins five slept and five waited patiently , trimming the wicks is to keep the light of his word bright in our hearts and the oil is the Holy Spirit alive and well in our hearts Jesus said my sheep know my voice        Jhn 10:27 ASV - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Jhn 10:28 ASV - and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand.
Jhn 10:29 ASV - My Father, who hath given them unto me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.    Gods word will renew your earthy mind through obedience to his word ,  and having the mind of Christ by study and confession we have this power to walk above this evil.    For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.  This is where a saints life will be tested and tried in that evil day and our faith.               1Jo 5:4 ASV - For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, even our faith.   Read  1 John 5
Not only myself but there are many in the kingdom of God that believe we are on the precipice of the fall of this nation , its coming and we must be sober and vigilant . I believe in the power of prayer and our fathers love even to the changing of his mind just as in the old testament.   but I also believe that Gods wrath has an appointed time of execution upon the earth .    The scripture used by the church  today     2Ch 7:14 ASV - if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.    Wickedness is rampant in all areas of this nation even in the churches or the called of God.   It says they must turn from their wicked ways and humble themselves .    Rom 9:22 ASV - What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering vessels of wrath fitted unto destruction:
Rom 9:23 ASV - and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he afore prepared unto glory,
Rom 9:24 ASV - even us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles?

    be constant in prayer seeing your faith will save you in this time of judgement .    Matt 24 speaks of cataclysmic events like no other time upon the earth Jesus spoke this .    Luk 21:8 ASV - And he said, Take heed that ye be not led astray: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am he; and, The time is at hand: go ye not after them.    Jesus said    Luk 17:20 ASV - And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:     Luk 17:21 ASV - neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.       Col 1:26 ASV - even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,

Saints   Greek: hagios
Holiness, Holy, Holily:

akin to A, Nos. 1 and 2, which are from the same root as hagnos (found in hazo, "to venerate"), fundamentally signifies "separated" (among the Greeks, dedicated to the gods), and hence, in Scripture in its moral and spiritual significance, separated from sin and therefore consecrated to God, sacred

Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Col 1:28 ASV - whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ;

The carnal man will not see the kingdom of God because the kingdom of God is in the hearts of the believer .   That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.      1Co 2:12 ASV - But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13 ASV - Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Spirit teacheth; combining spiritual things with spiritual words.
1Co 2:14 ASV - Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.

Luk 21:9 ASV - And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified: for these things must needs come to pass first; but the end is not immediately.
Luk 21:10 ASV - Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;
Luk 21:11 ASV - and there shall be great earthquakes, and in divers places famines and pestilences; and there shall be terrors and great signs from heaven.
Luk 21:12 ASV - But before all these things, they shall lay their hands on you, and shall persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name's sake.
Luk 21:13 ASV - It shall turn out unto you for a testimony.   Testimony Greek: marturion
Testimony:           Act 22:20 ASV - and when the blood of Stephen thy witness was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting, and keeping the garments of them that slew him.   This word witness is also the word for testimony . KJV uses the word Myrtyr for witness

Luk 21:14 ASV - Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate beforehand how to answer:

I pray we do not miss his calling in our life's to be the called ,  chosen and the faithful .  Rev 17:14
