Psa:91 Dwelling In The Secret Place Of The Most High

  The elect of Gods body of believers ,   the living church today .
A few days ago Jan 20 /17 here in the United States something happened to rock the world .  And I do believe the whole world was involved in this election ,   every four years this takes place in the United States .     I see that people all over the world were watching and waiting for the outcome of this election .  Even some were rioting in the streets of their own country with destruction of property to show their anger against the people that chose two men to be the next leaders of America .   We are living in a most wonderful time in history , we as citizens of earth today are seeing something of a great proportion come about .  Christianity is more than a title more than a tool for politicians to pen on their lapels for votes.   The word says that as you have received Christ Jesus so you must walk in him .  The only way for a man or woman to manifest Christ in their life is to suffer in their flesh .
 Jesus said that you bear much fruit and the fruit is the results of living his word . If Jesus is the vine and we are the branches than we must bear his fruit .  And the fruit of the spirit is      Gal 5:22 ASV - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 ASV - meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.   Jesus was the fulfilling of the law he took the ordinances against us  Col 2:13 ASV - And you, being dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, you, I say, did he make alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses;
Col 2:14 ASV - having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out that way, nailing it to the cross;    Nailing  Nail (Noun and Verb):  Greek: proseloo
"to nail to" (pros, "to," and a verbal form of A), is used in Col 2:14, in which the figure of a bond (ordinances of the Law) is first described as cancelled, and then removed; the idea in the verb itself is not that of the cancellation, to which the taking out of the way was subsequent, but of nailing up the removed thing in triumph to the cross. The death of Christ not only rendered the Law useless as a means of salvation, but gave public demonstration that it was so.        Rom 8:3 ASV - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:  Jesus is our example of holy living he said to be holy as you father is holy . Men in their natural minds say that cannot happen ,  you cannot be like Christ ,    Yes you can with his spirit living in you all things are possible .
Rom 8:4 ASV - that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:5 ASV - For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Rom 8:6 ASV - For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:
Water baptism was a commandant of Christ ,  Jesus said it was the only way to be saved .   Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.  The whole creation was from his death to this very moment , to the ends of the earth.  Men print red letter bibles as stating the words of Jesus but they do not believe his words .   Religion has subverted the true church of Jesus Christ .   Jesus said why do you call me Lord Lord and do not what I say.   Thank God we have his true word to read and study and believe fully.  Men ! apostate men have taken this true gospel and replaced it with another doctrine another gospel .    Paul wrote 13 books of this bible and he said he learned this truth from no man , I got alone in the desert of Arabia alone with Jesus and he taught me this gospel through his spirit .
Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.    John the baptist had to come before Christ he was Gods messenger to bring the truth of repentance .   Without repentance a man cannot be saved according to Gods word.   If we are not sorry for our sins have no heart for a repentant soul than Jesus died in vain for that man.   Believe the whole word of God not a religion that will damn your soul .  For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Eph 4:5 ASV - one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

1Pe 3:21 ASV - which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;
To reject water baptism is to reject the gospel of Jesus ,      Jesus said if you love me you will obey my commandants .        Long ago men have perverted the truth and his words ,  men moved by another spirit and with evil intentions.         2Pe 2:1 ASV - But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there shall be false teachers, who shall privily bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
Col 2:12 ASV - having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
Col 2:14 ASV - having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out that way, nailing it to the cross;
Col 2:15 ASV - having despoiled the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.     He rose again to newness of life he resurrected  from the grave and because he lives we that believe shall live eternally with him.
Gal 5:24 ASV - And they that are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts thereof.
Gal 5:25 ASV - If we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also walk.
  It is all about putting to death the deeds of our flesh .  To be worthy of Christ to be counted in the Kingdom of God having obedience to our cross. So how do we become worthy .   The cross is an important tool of surrender to our walk ,  it is the very thing most people avoid because it involves pain .   Jesus said to be holy as your father in heaven is holy ,  to come to Christ is to completely surrender your life your carnal way of living .   God your father called it sinful flesh ,      When  God created Adam and Eve do you think he knew they would fail . They were perfect in every way with tremendous power and ability .  They were filled with Gods life he filled them with his image all that God intended for man was breathed in to Adams nostrils .     So we have the first Adam and the second Adam ,   So when the father said let us make man in our image , who was he speaking to .    Col 1:15 ASV - who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;   Jhn 17:2 ASV - even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that to all whom thou hast given him, he should give eternal life.       Jhn 17:3 ASV - And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, even Jesus Christ.      Jhn 6:46 ASV - Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he that is from God, he hath seen the Father.
  The church of the living God has been hijacked by evil people from the beginning of time ,  satan challenge the word of God in the garden  the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden?     He referenced the word of God in a twisted evil way.  So comes doubt and unbelief which is a sin against Gods promises .
 Even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that to all whom thou hast given him, he should give eternal life .  Judas was written about in prophecy long before he was born,  so are those that live today  .  Men subvert the word of God knowing the truth they destroy the power of Gods word for their own pleasure .  If they know the power of  satan in their life's than they also know the opposite of evil.
 Rom 1:18 ASV - For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hinder the truth in unrighteousness;
Rom 1:19 ASV - because that which is known of God is manifest in them; for God manifested it unto them.
Rom 1:20 ASV - For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse:
I have seen lately men of some kind of authority in their own minds actually subverting the word of God to suit the lust of their flesh.    Preaching doctrines of devils and exalting their doctrines above Gods word , this is a very dangerous thing in the fact they are taking innocent people captive                people that are unlearned in the word of righteousness young sheep seeking fellowship with God in their life's . Being led astray by a hireling as Jesus called them , they were never called to be  a sheppard of Gods sheep .     Jhn 10:12 ASV - He that is a hireling, and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, beholdeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth, and the wolf snatcheth them, and scattereth them:
Jhn 10:13 ASV - he fleeth because he is a hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
Mat 7:15 KJV - Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Act 20:29 KJV - For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Act 20:30 KJV - Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.          Pastors that allow sin in their congregation are not following the truth of Gods word.   If it is contrary to sound doctrine the true gospel it is sin and God will judge sin in the church.   The harvest is white the grain of Gods church is coming to their harvest the tares are about to be plucked up .   They say tares look almost like wheat in height and fruit wise but it is called darnel because it is poison to those that consume it.   Many are called but few are chosen Jesus said to enter in by the narrow gate  beware of the leaven of the Pharisees    Mat 7:14 KJV - Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.  Narrow    Afflict (-ed), Affliction:   Greek: thlibo
"to suffer affliction, to be troubled," has reference to sufferings due to the pressure of circumstances, or the antagonism of persons, 1Th 3:4; 2Th 1:6, 7; "straitened," in Mat 7:14 (RV); "throng," Mar 3:9; "afflicted," 2Cr 1:6; 7:5 (RV); 1Ti 5:10; Hbr 11:37; "pressed," 2Cr 4:8. Both the verb and the noun (see B, No. 4), when used of the present experience of believers, refer almost invariably to that which comes upon them from without.
1Pe 1:3 ASV - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pe 1:4 ASV - unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
1Pe 1:5 ASV - who by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
1Pe 1:6 ASV - Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, ye have been put to grief in manifold trials,
1Pe 1:7 ASV - that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold that perisheth though it is proved by fire, may be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ:            You must be born again of the water and the spirit  John the baptist said that the one coming after him was greater than I and he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with Fire!   the verse above says that we that believe will be tried by that fire proved by that fire .   The fire is the the cleansing agent that comes only from Jesus it is a spiritual fire to cleanses our souls.   Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire: Fire:   Greek: pur       of the holiness of God, which consumes all that is inconsistent therewith, Hbr 10:27; 12:29; cp. Rev 1:14; 2:18; 10:1; 15:2; 19:12; similarly of the holy angels as His ministers, Hbr 1:7; in Rev 3:18 it is symbolic of that which tries the faith of saints, producing what will glorify the Lord
All the sacrifices of God are purged by fire ,  God loved the aroma of burning flesh .  This is symbolic of our lifes before God , Jesus said if any man does not pick up his cross and follow me he is not worthy of me.   He is saying here you cannot enter into the kingdom of God with sin in your life .
   1Co 15:47 ASV - The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.
1Co 15:48 ASV - As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Our cross is spiritual our death is spiritual Jesus died physically for our salvation .   One thing to understand that God is a God of love and also a God of wrath ,    Hell is real friend the hireling will not tell you that he is about the desires of the flesh ,  sin is common in the so called church today .   They are the blind leading the blind , lovers of money and self preaching another gospel another doctrine .
Rom 6:19 ASV - I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness unto sanctification.
Heb 12:14 ASV - Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:              Sanctification          Holiness, Holy, Holily:     Greek: hagiasmos
         the resultant state, the conduct befitting those so separated, 1Th 4:3, 4, 7, and the four other places mentioned above. "Sanctification" is thus the state predetermined by God for believers, into which in grace He calls them, and in which they begin their Christian course and so pursue it. Hence they are called "saints" (hagioi).
When a man or woman says that God made me this way ,  I hear the serpent in the garden Hath God said !    The bible says God tempts no man but he is lead away by the lust of his flesh .
  Jas 1:13 ASV - Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempteth no man:
Jas 1:14 ASV - but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.
Jas 1:15 ASV - Then the lust, when it hath conceived, beareth sin: and the sin, when it is fullgrown, bringeth forth death.
Jas 1:16 ASV - Be not deceived, my beloved brethren.
The spirit of error is running rampant in the house of God , people shunning God because it demands holy living it demands sacrifice of their flesh .
1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jo 2:17 ASV - And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
To count the cost is to see that salvation will cost you your old carnal man he cannot live in Gods kingdom.   The mind of the flesh is an enemy of the spirit of God the flesh of man can never please God.           1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
1Co 15:46 ASV - Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; then that which is spiritual.
1Co 15:47 ASV - The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.
1Co 15:46 ASV - Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; then that which is spiritual.
1Co 15:48 ASV - As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
 Mat 24:24 ASV - For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
This is not in the future it has been upon the earth sense the beginning of time
The hirelings I spoke about they are the deceivers  and the false Christ  false prophets of today and there is only one gospel and Jesus preached that true gospel to the hungry heart.           If you look closely it is in every media type and evil technology is spreading the lust of this world .         Deception in politics in every walk of life the power of persuasion  .        Rom 16:18 ASV - For they that are such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and fair speech they beguile the hearts of the innocent.
Phl 3:19 ASV - whose end is perdition, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.     Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.    For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.     And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
The fact is we are living in the last days looking to wars and threats of wars to come .      I  know people were praying all over this nation and the world for God to intervene in the evil course  that satan was taking this nation into by evil usurpers  .  People every where saw this evil coming upon this nation ,  and  those that were perpetrating this evil with  black hearts .  As the days go by God will expose the darkness of these people and their evil plans .   I believe God heard the prayers of the righteous  , not only for his church but for the unborn yet to come into his kingdom . Are you born of his Water and his blood redeemed from this world .   You must be born again as Jesus told Nicodemus of the water which is his word of true and the spirit is the promise he spoke of in his word to all that believe to be filled with his spirit ask him he is willing to give his spirit to those that ask .    1Co 2:12 ASV - But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13 ASV - Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Spirit teacheth; combining spiritual things with spiritual words.
1Co 2:14 ASV - Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.

 Tribulation is still coming my friend for sure,  Jesus said it in Matt 24 who will escape this judgement !     The evil forces of today were trying to circumvent  Gods word his plans for the earth ,  to hasten something other than Gods plan of judgement.    So God has spoken to this evil ! he did intervene in this destruction .  And he is the great I am he is the only God of this universe .

2Pe 2:1 ASV - But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there shall be false teachers, who shall privily bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
2Pe 2:2 ASV - And many shall follow their lascivious doings; by reason of whom the way of the truth shall be evil spoken of.
2Pe 2:3 ASV - And in covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose sentence now from of old lingereth not, and their destruction slumbereth not.
2Pe 2:4 ASV - For if God spared not angels when they sinned, but cast them down to hell, and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
2Pe 2:5 ASV - and spared not the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;
2Pe 2:6 ASV - and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, having made them an example unto those that should live ungodly;

Behold, I Stand At The Door And Knock

                                        Rev 3:20 ASV - Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.   When Jesus was walking this earth and reveling his father to the people ,   He told the people it is the father in me he is doing the works , the words that I speak it is his words that I am speaking .     Jhn 10:25 ASV - Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believe not: the works that I do in my Father's name, these bear witness of me.  And what is the Witness    Report (Noun and Verb):    Greek: martureo  Martyr         "to be a witness, bear witness, testify," signifies, in the Passive Voice, "to be well testified of, to have a good report," Act 6:3, "of good (AV, honest) report," lit., "being well testified of;" 10:22; 16:2; 22:12; 1Ti 5:10; in Hbr 11:2, 39, AV, "obtained a good report" (RV, "had witness borne to them"); in 3Jo 1:12, AV, "hath good report" (RV, "hath the witness"), lit., "witness hath been borne."
Martyr =  a person who is killed because of their religious or other beliefs.    All the apostles and  many believers in that day died as a martyr for the precious truth of eternal life through Christ Jesus .   And the people that were against the word they spoke of salvation through God son was the religious church .  Religion today is still that obstacle an enemy of the cross to prevent people from knowing the  truth .  And satan uses people just like he did Eve to pervert that truth , God said let there be light and there was light .  God said these are my commandants for today obey them and live .  Jesus was the fulfilling of the old Law he fulfilled all the ordinances of the Law .                         Ordinances  Decree Greek: dogma     an "opinion expressed with authority, a doctrine, ordinance, decree;" "decree," Luk 2:1; Act 16:4; 17:7; in the sense of ordinances, Eph 2:15; Col 2:14.
 Col 2:14 ASV - having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out that way, nailing it to the cross;                             Rom 8:3 ASV - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 8:4 ASV - that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:5 ASV - For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Friends it is all about the Cross our Cross !    Jesus said to every one of his disciples Come follow me some did and others did not .   Where do we follow Jesus to where is he going .
Jhn 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.    And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.    And whither I go, ye know the way.      Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way?    Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me .    His Death burial and his resurrection
If ye had known me, ye would have known my Father also: from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.  Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.                          Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how sayest thou, Show us the Father?                         Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I say unto you I speak not from myself: but the Father abiding in me doeth his works.
  2Co 5:19 ASV - to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Col 2:8 ASV - Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:    Religion is an enemy of the cross it is what this verse describes above .  Religion brings all kinds of fleshly works and binds men up with fear and fear has torment.                Col 2:9 ASV - for in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily,

Mar 7:9 ASV - And he said unto them, Full well do ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your tradition.
Mar 7:13 ASV - making void the word of God by your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things ye do.     Heb 4:2 ASV - For indeed we have had good tidings preached unto us, even as also they: but the word of hearing did not profit them, because it was not united by faith with them that heard.  Jesus said when he comes back to the earth again will he find faith on the earth.  Faith being things hope for things unseen it is the substance of our life's.     Heb 1:1 ASV - God, having of old time spoken unto the fathers in the prophets by divers portions and in divers manners,
Heb 1:2 ASV - hath at the end of these days spoken unto us in his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds;
Heb 1:3 ASV - who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
 There is only one gospel one truth  Jesus spoke the Gospel of his father he said he was anointed to preach this gospel .    Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,
1Co 2:2 ASV - For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
Gal 2:20 ASV - I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
Gal 5:24 ASV - And they that are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts thereof.
Gal 6:14 ASV - But far be it from me to glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world hath been crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
Heb 11:7 ASV - By faith Noah, being warned of God concerning things not seen as yet, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

Phl 3:8 ASV - Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ,
Phl 3:9 ASV - and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:
Phl 3:10 ASV - that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;
Phl 3:11 ASV - if by any means I may attain unto the resurrection from the dead.
Mat 19:28 ASV - And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Mat 19:24 ASV - And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.   Now the word says that the LOVE of money .  Because money wealth and all it can buy in the flesh ,  the lust of the flesh the lust of the eyes the pride of life and all that is in the world will perish .
Mat 19:25 ASV - And when the disciples heard it, they were astonished exceedingly, saying, Who then can be saved?    We all need money to live in this world but Jesus was warning us as to who is your true God .                                                                                 Luk 16:10 ASV - He that is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much: and he that is unrighteous in a very little is unrighteous also in much.
Luk 16:11 ASV - If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
Luk 16:12 ASV - And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own?
Luk 16:13 ASV - No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.   Mammon   Mammon:    Greek: mamonas
a common Aramaic word for "riches," akin to a Hebrew word signifying "to be firm, steadfast" (whence "Amen"), hence, "that which is to be trusted;" Gesenius regards it as derived from a Heb. word signifying "treasure" (Gen 43:23); it is personified in Mat 6:24; Luk 16:9, 11, 13.                                                                                                                         Luk 12:34 ASV - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
 Mat 19:26 ASV - And Jesus looking upon them said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Mat 19:27 ASV - Then answered Peter and said unto him, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee; what then shall we have?
Mat 19:28 ASV - And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Gen 1:26 ASV - And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  The word Image in the Heb is a shadow of something to come .
Gen 1:27 ASV - And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Jesus was the word of God made flesh ,  God is a spirit he has no body and Jesus said that and those that worship him must worship him in the same way spirit and in truth .     Jhn 4:24 ASV - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.     The true God of this earth there are many gods but only one true creator .      You know God made man in his own image made he man , and when he said let us make man in our own image .
 Isa 53:10 ASV - Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.                                                                                            In Exodus with the children God making a way for escape from the Egyptians ,   Egypt in that day is a type of our world today.   Bondage and hard labor captives to the world rulers .  What was the way of escape for the children of God .   They were called a small people by God , God can take the least of a situation and bring it to greatness .
Luk 13:25 ASV - When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not whence ye are;    The word whence is Who !    who you are , and who are we to be like in the end of this world ,  Not in the flesh in the spirit who are we to be in the likeness of when God comes back for his people .  This life we live today friend is spiritual when you die will your flesh stand before God .  No your soul will stand before the throne of Christ he will be our Judge it is called the bema seat or the footprint tribunal .
2Co 5:10 ASV - For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Judgment-Seat:  Greek: bema
In two passages the word is used of the Divine tribunal before which all believers are hereafter to stand. In Rom 14:10 it is called "The judgment seat of God," RV (AV, "of Christ"), according to the most authentic mss. The same tribunal is called "the judgment seat of Christ," 2Cr 5:10, to whom the Father has given all judgment, Jhn 5:22, 27. At this bema believers are to be made manifest, that each may "receive the things done in (or through) the body," according to what he has done, "whether it be good or bad." There they will receive rewards for their faithfulness to the Lord. For all that has been contrary in their lives to His will they will suffer loss, 1Cr 3:15. This judgment seat is to be distinguished from the premillennial, earthly throne of Christ, Mat 25:31, and the postmillennial "Great White Throne," Rev 20:11, at which only "the dead" will appear. The judgment-seat of Christ will be a tribunal held "in His Parousia," i.e., His presence with His saints after His return to receive them to Himself.
Col 2:6 ASV - As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,   Foot print tribunal is to put your foot after  Christ is and to acknowledge him as you savior and you walk in his foot steps. You follow him .
Col 2:7 ASV - rooted and builded up in him, and established in your faith, even as ye were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

Rom 1:23 ASV - and changed the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.
Rom 8:29 ASV - For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:
Col 1:15 ASV - who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
Heb 1:3 ASV - who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
The word says Jesus was the first born among the dead ,   and we being dead in our trespasses were under the curse of Adam . Jesus was with the father before creation Jesus was the pattern for us to follow.    God told Moses to build after the pattern I showed you upon the mount .   Jesus said that Moses himself wrote of me prophecy in the making .  Moses saw God face to face the word says and he was a friend of God .   I believe Mose saw far into the distance of spiritual things just as the prophets did of old , the word says they were looking for the very thing in the future that they were writing of looking for that promise to come  . Jesus said Abraham saw my day and he was glad . John 8:56
Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. The door is your heart you can let him in or you can keep him out ,  his knocking is his mercy to all mankind .  His voice is this very word I have been sharing with you , you hear him in his word . And as you began to obey his word he revels himself more and more ,  and the Lord speaks to us through his revelation of himself .   Paul called it the mystery of Godliness unto the gentile in these last days.      To sup with him is to have a close relationship with Jesus to go to you closet to get alone and seek his fellowship and wisdom.     Jesus said our works alone will not save us it is how we build our house , our firm foundation on the solid rock of his word .  The flesh will perish in time ,  but our soul will live for ever .    There is only one way to enter into his presents ,  to have him in your heart and be filled with his spirit his overflowing presence .   Ask him and he will give you his spirit , Just as Jesus told Nicodemus you must be born again of the water and of the spirit .

The Red Scarlet Thread

                                                    The red scarlet thread put in the window of Rehab's house in Jericho  . She saved the spy's of Israel and helped them escape .  Jos 6:17 ASV - And the city shall be devoted, even it and all that is therein, to Jehovah: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.
Jos 2:18 ASV - Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt gather unto thee into the house thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household.    Seeing the great type and shadow of Gods grace his mercy.     The red scarlet thread is a type and shadow of the blood of Jesus , the salvation of those men and the salvation of Rahab and her family . When the destroyer comes and he sees the blood on your house's he will pass you over . Another type and shadow of the Blood of Jesus on his cross .   And to this day men celebrate the Passover Jesus with his disciples celebrated the Passover .
Mat 26:18 ASV - And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Teacher saith, My time is at hand; I keep the Passover at thy house with my disciples.  Jesus looking back to the original Passover ,      My time is at hand it all coming to frution now.     Jesus said Moses and the prophets wrote of me .
Mat 26:19 ASV - And the disciples did as Jesus appointed them; and they made ready the passover.
 I believe there are many revelations to all scripture but I see that Rehab as a harlot in this passage is like believing another gospel being married to another. Like so many in the church today , Bound up by apostate doctrines blindly following traditions of your fathers lost and blind.          Mat 11:5 ASV - the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good tidings preached to them.       Blind, Blindness:   Greek: tuphlos
"blind," is used both physically and metaphorically, chiefly in the Gospels; elsewhere four times; physically, Act 13:11; metaphorically, Rom 2:19; 2Pe 1:9; Rev 3:17. The word is frequently used as a noun, signifying "a blind man."
Now when John heard in the prison the works of the Christ, he sent by his disciples and said unto him, Art thou he that cometh, or look we for another? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and tell John the things which ye hear and see .   The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good tidings preached to them.     And blessed is he, whosoever shall find no occasion of stumbling in me .    Stumbling  Offend:  Greek: skandalizo   from skandalon (OFFENCE, No. 1), signifies "to put a snare or stumblingblock in the way," always metaphorically in the NT, in the same ways as to put a stumbling block or impediment in the way, upon which another may trip and fall, metaph. to offend
Lets look at the maladies affecting the people in that day that Jesus was healing, concerning this scripture .  Both being used physically and metaphorically ,   I believe Jesus came to set the captive's free ,     Captive, Captivity:   Greek: aichmalotos
lit., "one taken by the spear" (from aichme, "a spear," and halotos, a verbal adjective, from halonai, "to be captured"), hence denotes "a captive," Luk 4:18.
Once again I am seeing a spiritual captive here and men are being taken unaware , even the word spear is spiritual as to the sword of Gods spirit .  The spear here is another gospel deceit and lies of the devil .  And the depth as to how far this spiritual spear can go . One is taken captive by an ungodly fear .  And satan knows that men fear death   , The  word says that before Christ came with salvation men lived in fear all their lives ,   from a fear of death .
Heb 2:14 ASV - Since then the children are sharers in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same; that through death he might bring to nought him that had the power of death, that is, the devil      Heb 2:15 ASV - and might deliver all them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage
The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit .  Jesus preached the Gospel , the word of his father and he lived that word even in his sacrifice .   Jesus was the pattern son of God he came to revel who the father is to man kind .
Eze 43:7 ASV - And he said unto me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever. And the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, and by the dead bodies of their kings in their high places;  God says forever and we are all Israel now and we need the pattern of Gods house over us.

Rom 11:26 ASV - and so all Israel shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:  we were grafted in to the true olive tree some were broken off so we could be grafted in .
Eze 43:10 ASV - Thou, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.

He told Phillip  ,        Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me , If ye had known me, ye would have known my Father also: from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him .   Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how sayest thou, Show us the Father?
2Co 5:15 ASV - and he died for all, that they that live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto him who for their sakes died and rose again.
2Co 5:16 ASV - Wherefore we henceforth know no man after the flesh: even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
2Co 5:17 ASV - Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.  We must not judge on man after the flesh

We live in a spiritual world friend after we come to Jesus ,  the key to living that spiritual live is in our sarifice our obedience to holy living .  Jesus spoke many times of our cross even before he went to his .  The Cross Greek saturo is an instrument of suffering , Jesus suffered the death of his physical life his flesh died on calvary a type and shadow of our spiritual death on our cross .   Heb 13:10-14
 He said I have the power to lay my life down and I have the power to take it up again . Jhn 10:18 ASV - No one taketh it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.   Now Jesus said this was a commandant of God ,  not only to Jesus but to all those that should come after him.   But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name  who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.   Now I want to look at the word Name in the Greek: Onoma  for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers: representing the authority of Christ, e.g., Mat 18:5 (with epi, "on the ground of My authority  .    Luk 10:17 ASV - And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject unto us in thy name.
 John 1: 12   But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name .  13.  who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  To be a child of your father you must be born of your father . Your natural father and of his flesh , the carnal nature of man .
 This is where we must see the spiritual understanding of Gods word to us. If we receive this word it becomes life to our souls and not to our flesh but our flesh receives blessings and health because of our faith and confession a to Gods word .  Adam became a living soul and every one born after Adam became his offspring so man was born of Adam and born into his curse of disobedience to Gods commandments .   Verse 13  is where we lose our identity to this old Adamic world and in faith we that new live that born again life . God's word is our life giving source.    Jas 1:21 ASV - Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls . It says who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God being born again daily by feeding upon this word and drinking the blood of Jesus .    Eating his flesh is feeding upon his word for our daily sustenance feeding our new man . And to drink his blood is to manifest his very life his character his nature . The fruit of the spirit is Christ in you the hope of glory .    Lev 17:11 ASV - For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life.       Jhn 6:51 ASV - I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.
Jhn 6:55 ASV - For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Jhn 6:58 ASV - This is the bread which came down out of heaven: not as the fathers ate, and died; he that eateth this bread shall live for ever.
Jesus is speaking of the old and the new covenants here .  Mose brought the Law and that was the bread God gave them at that time.  The word says that God gave the Law to show the children how unable and frail they were to live a righteous life in and through the law .  To bring them to a repentant heart and ask for Gods help          Rom 8:2 ASV - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
Rom 8:3 ASV - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 8:4 ASV - that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:5 ASV - For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
There is a absolute perfection in and through Jesus Christ  ,  and Jesus says that obedience to your cross will bring about that perfection .    Jesus being the word being made flesh and living among men was showing the power of his word , Jesus was that example of living his fathers word .      Mat 19:28 ASV - And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.  This is to all man kind that follow Christ the disciples preached this gospel to mankind,       Regeneration:   Greek: palingenesia       The new birth and "regeneration" do not represent successive stages in spiritual experience, they refer to the same event but view it in different aspects. The new birth stresses the communication of spiritual life in contrast to antecedent spiritual death
We were born of Adam of his flesh and now we must be born again through the death , burial and resurrection of Christ .   You must be born again of his spirit being filled with his spirit Just as in the days of Acts 2 ,  and yes Jesus himself that you must speak with new tongues .   And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned    And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new Tongues;   they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover , This is the words of Jesus to you !  he is the same yesterday today and forever .
Rev 3:10 ASV - Because thou didst keep the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial, that hour which is to come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Rev 3:11 ASV - I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown.        Crown   Greek: stephanos
    the victor's crown," the symbol of triumph in the games or some such contest; hence, by metonymy, a reward or prize;   It also mentions It is used of "the crown of thorns"  We can see here the physical from the spiritual .   Col 2:14 ASV - having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out that way, nailing it to the cross;     .   Jesus went to his cross bearing a crown of sin for our sin .  We have a spiritual cross to bear Jesus said if  a man does not take up his cross and follow me he is not worthy of me
Jhn 19:5 ASV - Jesus therefore came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple garment. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold, the man!     It is fitting that Pilate said behold the man ,   Spiritually that was you and I !   And Jesus was wearing a purple garment a Kings robe he went to his cross as a King .      Jhn 12:28 ASV - Father, glorify thy name. There came therefore a voice out of heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.     Jesus was buried and after three days he rose again  to a glorified body ,  now God will glorify his name again through those that believe in his name and are born of God       Jesus said it is finished,   In the garden he said  Mat 26:39 ASV - And he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass away from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.
He took it all for mankind the suffering the torment and the shame of the cross , he was sinless in every way.
Greek: akantha Thorns  They were the effects of the Divine curse on the ground (Gen 3:18  The thorns represents sin and the curse of sin .      Heb 6:8 KJV - But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.     Isa 53:10 ASV - Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.
Isa 53:7 ASV - He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he opened not his mouth; as a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.
Mat 12:19 ASV - He shall not strive, nor cry aloud; Neither shall any one hear his voice in the streets.
Mat 12:20 ASV - A bruised reed shall he not break, And smoking flax (wick )shall he not quench, Till he send forth judgment unto victory.   We were that bruised reed a tender flesh man in search of our creator in need of a savoir .  And it says a bruised reed he will not break . A man in his weakest condition lost without hope setting in darkness blind and bruised in hope of a remedy .     And the smoking wick ,  of the wick of a lamp which has ceased to burn clearly, figurative of mere nominal religiousness without the Spirit's power.    His love is beyond our ability to comprehend ,  even to the point of his cross
Luk 11:13 ASV - If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
 The power of the Holy Ghost is a promise to you and your children , no it did not go away it is still in force . Jesus said he died for you to be filled with the Holy Spirit  . I must go away if I do not go away you will not receive promise of the Holy Spirit . It is still alive and for you who believe .  The verse above says  how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Great Is The Mystery Of Godliness

The scriptures below resonate through out the kingdom of God today just as the days of Christ ministry.   Every absolute truth from Gods word has its life in the very Gospel of Jesus Christ .       Jesus said the words that I speak they are from the father he speaks the words through me.    Even the works I do they are of the father he doth the works .  The word says that because we believed upon him Jesus and believe in his Name ,  God gives us the right to become Children unto him.   The bible says that it was God in Christ reconciling  (the World you and I) unto himself .      So we see here that the word reconciliation is an action word from the past . The word Pre comes to mind  .  The prefix pre-, which means “before,” appears in numerous English vocabulary words, for example: predict, prevent, and prefix!      Gen 1:27 ASV - And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.    All man kind was born after Adam and Eve .   All creation was of their loins .    The word similitude resemblance, similarity, likeness, sameness, similar nature,

  But the word says that God is a spirit and those that worships the only one true God of the Lord Jesus Christ , must ! worship him in that same spirit and in truth.   Now we come to the scripture and the word of reconciliation .          Rom 5:11 ASV - and not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
2Co 5:18 ASV - But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation;
2Co 5:19 ASV - to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.                Rconciliation    Atonement:     Greek: katallage
translated "atonement" in the AV of Rom 5:11, signifies, not "atonement," but "reconciliation," as in the RV. See also Rom 11:15; 2Cr 5:18, 19. So with the corresponding verb katallasso, See under RECONCILE. "Atonement" (the explanation of this English word as being "at-one-ment" is entirely fanciful) is frequently found in the OT. See, for instance, Leviticus, chapters 16 and 17. The corresponding NT words are hilasmos, "propitiation," 1Jo 2:2; 4:10, and hilasterion, Rom 3:25; Hbr 9:5, "mercy-seat," the covering of the ark of the covenant. These describe the means (in and through the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His death on the Cross by the shedding of His blood in His vicarious sacrifice for sin) by which God shows mercy to sinners.
Jhn 10:7 ASV - Jesus therefore said unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.        Jhn 10:9 ASV - I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture.     Door Greek thura metaphorically, of Christ, Jhn 10:7, 9; of faith, by acceptance of the Gospel, Act 14:27; of "openings" for preaching and teaching the Word of God, 1Cr 16:9; 2Cr 2:12; Col 4:3; Rev 3:8; of "entrance" into the Kingdom of God, Mat 25:10; Luk 13:24, 25; of Christ's "entrance" into a repentant believer's heart, Rev 3:20; of the nearness of Christ's second advent, Mat 24:33; Mar 13:29;   Jam 5:9; of "access" to behold visions relative to the purposes of God, Rev 4:1.

To enter in to the household of God we must go through Christ Jesus ,  through his sacrifice and shed blood for our sins the only true Lamb of God . John the baptist said it . Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.   Jesus is more than a name he is the great I am he is that life we become to . And through him we have that right to become children of God ,  Jesus is the perfection we follow after he is the example we look to .
1Ti 3:15 ASV - but if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
House  Family:   Greek: oikos       The whole family of God
signifies
(a) "a dwelling, a house" (akin to oikeo, to dwell);
(b) "a household, family," translated "family" in 1Ti 5:4, RV, for AV, "at home."
   Remembering that Jesus is the door to Gods Church his family of the redeemed , Jesus was anointed to bring this truth to us the believers of his name.  Phl 3:10 ASV - that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;                         Tit 3:5 ASV - not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
Mat 7:20 ASV - Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Mat 7:21 ASV - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 ASV - Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works?
Mat 7:23 ASV - And then will I profess unto them, I never Knew  you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.   The word KNEW in the Greek: ginosko Allow:
"to know," is rendered "allow" in Rom 7:15 (AV); the RV has "that which I do I know not;" i.e., "I do not recognize, as a thing for which I am responsible."
Here again is the door of salvation opened to man kind , the only way to enter in is to get on your  cross and stay there lose your identity to this world , Love not the world nor the things of the world . Can a man be holy and live in this world can a man practice righteousness and live in this world ,   Jesus did and he said follow me into the regeneration of a new life .         When the master gives shut to the door !             Luk 13:25 ASV - When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not whence ye are;
Gen 7:16 ASV - And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God commanded him: and Jehovah shut him in.
Rev 11:19 KJV - And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.    Noah was an example of living a righteous life and the Ark is the new testament of Christ and his redemption through his blood.
1Jo 1:7 ASV - but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Religion has nothing to to with this great mystery of godliness , and the mystery is reveled through the life of Christ .    Religion creates another gospel ,  a gospel of no life .   Adam became a living soul but Jesus became a LIFE giving spirit !
Rom 12:1 ASV - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
You must be born again friend,     Jesus said he must die for the sins of the world ,  the only way his death becomes effective for you is that you die to your carnal fleshly nature of Adam .        God gave this word to you as proof that living holy and righteous can be done if you believe his word . That is why in  Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that Believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  Believing on his name is to believe in the power of his resurrection .  God never intended for you to be holy in your flesh , the flesh is an enemy to the holy spirit  so we receive the power of his spirit in our hearts through faith .  And than we walk as he walked and pick up our cross just as Jesus did and crucify the deeds of our flesh .  Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Regeneration   Regeneration:    Greek: palingenesia
"new birth" (palin, "again," genesis, "birth"), is used of "spiritual regeneration," Tts 3:5, involving the communication of a new life, the two operating powers to produce which are "the word of truth," Jam 1:18; 1Pe 1:23, and the Holy Spirit, Jhn 3:5, 6; the loutron, "the laver, the washing," is explained in Eph 5:26, "having cleansed it by the washing (loutron) of water with the word."       Adam became a living soul and Jesus is a life giving spirit
Church     Assembly:      Greek: ekklesia
         to the whole company of the redeemed throughout the present era, the company of which Christ said, "I will build My Church," Mat 16:18, and which is further described as "the Church which is His Body," Eph 1:22; 5:23,

1Ti 3:16 ASV - And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; He who was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the spirit, Seen of angels, Preached among the nations, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

JABBOCK !

By David Wilkerson
undated
__________

Jabbok! It may not have meant anything to you before now - but after you hear this message it should become one of the most important words in your spiritual vocabulary.
Jabbok is the place where Jacob wrestled with the Lord. It is where he made his total surrender to God. It is where he got his new character, and new name - Israel. It was the place where he cast down his last idol, and won his greatest victory.
"And he rose up that night... and passed over the ford Jabbok..." (Gen. 32:22).
Jabbok means "a place of passing over". It also stands for struggle; to empty and pour out. What a glorious truth is revealed in this place called Jabbok. It has everything to do with us today. It is the place where God's people discover the secret of power over every besetting sin. It represents a life and death crisis - one that leads to absolute surrender.
There can be no glorious victory over self and sin until you go to Jabbok. There comes a time we must "have it out with God". We must face ourselves and be emptied of all evil desires and selfish ambitions.
In the past believers have been taught there are two crossings in the life of a Christian - the Red Sea and the Jordan. The Red Sea crossing represents coming out of the world. It speaks of a new start. It symbolizes "getting saved". A lot of God's people come out of Egypt, but they never get into the Promised Land. They get stuck in the wilderness of unbelief, fear, and confusion. They leave the world but never enter the joy of the Lord.
Another crossing is required - the Jordan! The Jordan represents a commitment to go on with the Lord. Water baptism! Bible reading! Witnessing! A desire to grow in Christ! It is a passing over into a life of praise. For many, the Promised Land represents the fullness of the Holy Spirit. A baptism in, and with, the Holy Ghost.
Isn't that all there is? A Promised Land? A spiritual Canaan for the children of God? Saved, baptized, and filled with the Holy Ghost? The children of Israel entered their Promised Land. They got their inheritance. But they never did enter into the rest God wanted them to have! These God-fearing children of God, Spirit led, still had sin in their hearts! They had hearts that held onto secret lust and idolatry.
How tragic that the same is true today. Multitudes of Spirit-filled, Spirit-led believers have never known the true rest of God! Their peace is disturbed by a troubled conscience. God said Israel "...could not enter in because of unbelief ... there remaineth yet a rest to the people of God..." (Hebrew. 3:19 - 4:9).
It is possible to be saved, Spirit-filled, totally dedicated to the work of the Lord, and still be hooked by a secret sin! It is possible to cast out devils in Christ's name, heal the sick, perform miracles, discern, do great works, all in the name of Jesus Christ - and still be a sin-hooked worker of iniquity.
Only God knows how many Christians carry the burden of a secret sin or overwhelming lust. Multitudes have never experienced total victory and deliverance from besetting sins. Many dedicated Christian young people fight a losing battle against a habituating sin. They fight a craving for drugs, alcohol, sex. They dearly love the Lord - but there is "this one thing in their lives." They hate it but keep doing it. They don't want to give up on Christ or go back into the world. But there is still one idol they can't seem to surrender.
And, oh, the men and women of God - including ministers of the Gospel - who struggle with a besetting sin! They have a hunger for God. They never once think of turning to the beggarly elements of the world. They long for the fullness of Christ. They cry for holiness! They are truly dedicated children of the Most High God.
But there is still this one thing. This lingering problem. This little idol! It causes them grief and tears. They are torn with guilt and condemnation. They feel helpless, unworthy, and confused. They fast, they pray, they make promises - but suddenly they are overwhelmed and are led forth as a lamb to the slaughter.
For years I have struggled with the theology of total victory over sin! I do not mean " sinless perfection". I mean freedom from slavery to any besetting sin! Few men have studied more than I have about the doctrine of sanctification. I have studied and read about holiness for years.
I've worked with some of the worst sin slaves on the face of this earth. So I needed answers. I needed a clear and simple message on how to get and maintain victory over the sins of drugs, alcohol, violence, smoking, gambling, illegitimate sex, and various other kinds of addictions. Until the Spirit showed me Jabbok, my understanding was incomplete.
What about all those Christians, including ministers who carry on secret affairs? What about husbands and wives who are giving up on their marriages, hoping to find someone else who will please them more? Often they lie about how horrible things are at home - to excuse their secret love affair with someone else. They often become helplessly involved with another.
Sexual lust - adultery, fornication - is sweeping through the church today like the black plague. Is there no victory over all this runaway lust? Must a true child of God go through life always a slave to a besetting sin? Is there no place of absolute victory? I do not mean freedom from temptation, but freedom from giving in to lust.
There is a third crossing - Jabbok!
Jabbok was a tributary of the Jordan. It was a lonely place. Our Jabbok must be faced alone. You can cross the Red Sea with a mighty host of the redeemed who leave Egypt. You can cross the Jordan with the victorious army of the Lord all about you. But you will cross Jabbok alone! No counselors, no friends, no helpers. This is your private war - between you and the Lord alone.
"And Jacob was left alone, and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day" (Gen. 32:24).
Jabbok is where the Jacob in us is given its final death blow. It is where God deals with us not only about our sin, but about our very character.
Jacob was a troubled, desperate man. God had put his back up against the wall so to speak. He was returning after many years, to claim his inheritance. Esau, the brother he had swindled the birthright from, was coming in his direction with an army of 400 men.
Jacob had matured in many ways. He was now a loving father. He was obedient to the Lord, following the Lord's command to return home. He loved truth. He was a humble, praying man. Listen to his prayer:
"O God, I am not worthy of the least of thy mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast showed unto thy servant..." (Gen. 32:10).
But this humble, obedient, praying, God-fearing, truth-loving servant of God was still into appeasement! That means, "giving in to a dangerous power to avoid trouble." Peace at any cost includes compromise!
Instead of trusting God in his crisis, he worked angles. He tried to think his way through his problem. He divided his cattle into separate droves, sending them on ahead to soften his brother's heart. He would bombard Esau with wave after wave of gifts of goats, camels, bulls, sheep, donkeys, and rams.
"For he said, I will appease him..." (v. 20).
Appeasement! That is what multitudes of Christians are into! They give in to a dangerous power, because they are afraid they are helpless! You hear it everywhere nowadays "I just can't help it! I don't want to do it. I hate my sin. But in spite of all my super efforts, I give in and fail!
So over and over again, we appease! We sin and confess, weep and confess, try to think our way out. Oh, the angles, schemes, justifications, excuses, plans - all in vain. We seem powerless against overwhelming needs and desires.
Obedient! Praying! Seeking the truth! Humble! Loving! Kind! God-fearing! But there is still that fly in the ointment! There is still a secret holdout deep in the heart. There is still appeasement, scheming - one idol still standing - not yet totally yielded. Not yet under the total Lordship of Christ.

Let Me Show You What Must Happen At Jabbok!

1. At Jabbok - Religion Gives Way To Spirituality!

One can be very religious and not be at all spiritual. Jacob had had a very religious experience at Bethel. On his way to Padan - aram to find a wife among his own people, he had an amazing religious experience.
"And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth and the top of it reached to heaven, and behold the angels of God ascending and descending it ... " (Gen. 28:12).
God appeared and made a covenant with him! It was a promise of material blessings -
"I will give you the land whereon thou liest ... I will bless thy seed ... (v. 13,14).
Jacob cried out - "How awesome - the Lord is in this place" (vs. 16,17).
Jacob called the place Bethel, and proceeded to make a deal with God. The blessing part sounded very good to him!
"If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, so that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the Lord be my God.... If you bless me, I will surely give you back the tenth..." (Gen. 28:20-22).
Does this deal have a familiar ring to it? Bless me, Lord! Prosper me in all my ways! Give me plenty to eat! Clothe me well! Take good care of me, Then I'll serve you! Then I'll pay my tithe! Give it to me so I can give it back to you!
Think of it! God is in the place - the heavens are open! Angels appear! God speaks! What a supernatural, religious experience! And all Jacob can see out of it is a deal for land, food, clothes, prosperity, and success in all his ways! It was strictly a religious experience.
Bethel is the popular religion of our day. Like Jacob, our covetous spirits interpret God's promises in materialistic ways. We go so far as to desecrate the precious atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ! In high sounding religious words we talk about the power of Christ's shed blood. But what we are saying is a tragic misinterpretation of what His sacrifice really accomplished.
All some can see is what they can get out of it. To them, the atonement means merely health, wealth, prosperity, and deliverance from the curse of poverty. They are blind to the true meaning of Christ's victory on the Cross. His power over sin! The freedom to sacrifice, suffer, and serve willingly to advance His kingdom on earth! To endure hardship, and suffer the loss of all things, if necessary, to gain an incorruptible crown.
What about the multitudes who worship at Bethel? What about all the preachers and teachers who are stuck at Bethel - claiming the Bethel promises?
I say they are religious people. Some may be very religious. Like Jacob they may have experienced great revelations, seen angels, and perhaps have heard from God. But at Bethel - the flesh is still in control - It is a place of religion - but not true spirituality. It is a partial revelation. It goes for all the blessings while ignoring the deep inner struggle! It is being in the presence of the Lord without dealing with the Jacob nature! That comes only at Jabbok.

2. Jabbok Is A Place Of Absolute Surrender!

It is a place of total victory over every besetting sin! You are not ready for Jabbok until you are desperate! You have to come to the end of yourself. Your burden of sin must bring you to a life or death crisis.
What a crisis Jacob faced. On one side, Esau was closing in on him. On the other side stood the Lord Himself, and a host of heavenly witnesses. He could go no further. It was the absolute end of the line! Outside of a miracle, he was a dead man. His sins had caught up with him. For over twenty years he had been able to bluff his way through. He had survived on his cunning cover ups. He could not go on - even one more day - as in the past.
Jacob was forced to expose himself before the awesome presence of the Lord - and see himself for what he was! All night long the battle raged. This time Jacob meant business! He wanted to be free. He wanted to look the Lord and the world in the eye and know he was honest and holy. He wanted his reproach removed. He wanted deliverance.
"And He said unto him, what is thy name? And he said, Jacob!" (Gen. 32:27).
Jacob knew what his name stood for: "heel grabber" One who cheats his brother, himself, and tries to hide it from God's flaming eyes. What the Lord was saying to Jacob was this:
"Look at yourself - what you've become! No excuses now! For once in your life, face reality! Face the truth - be deadly honest - or there will be no victory!"
Out it all comes - all the pent-up fears and confessions:
"Oh, Lord! I'm a phony! I'm so religious outwardly, but inwardly I'm a cheat! I'm a grabber! I've played with fire too long! I've been excusing my actions, justifying my sins. Forgive, O Lord ...."
There can he no victory over any besetting sin without facing a final deadline at Jabbok! The fear of God's justice and judgment against your sin must grip you with finality. You must face the reality that you are not a special person, immune to exposure and judgment. You must face the fact that God, in His love, must give you a deadline - a last chance to obey completely!
Not that His grace is withdrawn, or His love and mercy limited. But there comes a time when God can no longer keep back the wages of your sin! There is a law that states "Conceived lust brings death!" Your sin must find you out!
You must face the reality you cannot go on living a lie. No matter how blessed you are, no matter how anointed, no matter what great things are accomplished in His name - God will not permit an open-ended license to go on sinning! You must obey or be exposed - and begin to reap what you have sown.
Face the truth! Confess it in all its ugly details! "Oh, Lord, I'm an adulterer, a fornicator. I'm no better than the harlots and homosexuals who walk the streets hustling! I'm the worst liar in your church! I've been cheating on my family. I'm not what people think I am. I know I'll be exposed. I know I'll have to pay the price for what I'm doing - so take it, Lord! Take it now! Not one more day of carrying this terrible burden! Set me free! I'm tired of playing a role!"
At Jabbok, Christ delivers us from our besetting sin by changing our very character.
"And he said, thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel, for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed..." (32:38).
Prevailing power through a new character! Prevail means, "to gain the upper hand, the victory, superiority." Jacob now knew it was in his power to obey, because the Lord accepted his commitment to surrender.
Our Lord is not interested simply in our getting victory over certain sins. He wants to change us into new people with pure hearts and clean hands. We need a character change.
It took only one desperate night of facing the truth. One night of struggle with the old nature! Jacob had a profound change in his body and soul, He had had it out with the Lord and prevailed. The Lord saw his desperation, heard his pitiful plea - and touched him! The Lord purposely weakened him! He put his thigh out of joint!
One of the greatest miracles the Lord can perform in our behalf is to cripple all our human efforts and make us totally dependent on Him. You will hobble away from Jabbok, humbled and crippled - crying out, "Oh, Lord, I've made my total surrender. I've laid down all my sins. My idol has been crushed. But I can't keep in victory without supernatural help. You brought me to this place of absolute obedience now sustain my commitment supernaturally. Cause me to both will and do of your perfect will."

3. Jabbok is the Place Of An Open Heaven

God reveals Himself only to those who "get rid of their guile." Guile is deceit, dishonesty, secret sin!
Listen to the glorious promise Jesus gave to Nathaniel, one of the twelve:
"Jesus saw Nathaniel coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile.... Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believe thou? Thou shalt see greater things than these..." "Verily, verily, I say unto you, hereafter ye shall see heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man..." (John 1:47-51).
He alone was given this glorious promise - Nathaniel, there is no deceit or dishonesty in you. You are an open book. No hidden works of sin! Nothing to hinder in your life. You will be given an open heaven! You will see things few others see. A full revelation is yours because you have no guile in you!
Our Lord desperately longs to open His heart to us, and lead us into all truth. But our guile hinders it. That is why Jabbok is so necessary! A place to lay down all the final remains of guile, deceit, dishonesty! So the heavens will stay open to us! It is true our sins hide His face from us.
Jacob renamed Jabbok "Peniel". Peniel means "the face of God."
"Because I have seen God face to face and my life is preserved..." (Gen. 32:30).
Jacob is now a spiritual man. No more talk about material blessings - lands, food, clothes, success. He had seen God and he had been touched. It is not cattle now; it is Christ.
The heavens once again opened. The ladder reappeared, with angels ascending and descending. But now he understood the deepest meanings of that open heaven. It means access to the Father! It means getting to know Him. It means sitting in heavenly places. Unspeakable joy. The glow of His presence. The sound of His voice. All spiritual values now!
Jacob had wasted over twenty years. He could have enjoyed years of an open heaven. He could have had unity with his brother and Laban. But the heavens had closed to him - because of his guile. I know I, too, have wasted precious years, with the heavens sometimes like brass. My inner idols - my unsurrendered guile - closed the heavens. It shut out the revelation of Christ's fullness. I had but a partial vision.
But at Jabbok the Lord heard my cry, and delivered me! I made a commitment to follow Him in total surrender. And then the heavens opened to me again! I am still tempted - at times I fail. But I know that obedience will again open heaven to me.
"... if any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine..." (John 7:17).
Is heaven open to you? Is the Lord revealing Himself to you in truth and holiness? If not, you may be shutting it all down by holding on to an idol! Secret sin may be the cause of your spiritual dryness and blindness. And there can be no love and unity in the church until God's people live pure, obedient lives.
Yes, we are loved! But we are also going to be judged! Judgment is beginning in the house of the Lord! The whole church of Jesus Christ is being led to Jabbok! None of us shall escape this crisis.
"For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses; of how much sorer [more severe] punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, and unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
"For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense saidth the Lord. And again, the Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God..." (Heb. 10:26-31).
Before you go to Christ's Judgment Seat - go to Jabbok! Judge yourself at Jabbok and you will not be judged! Hear what the Word of the Lord says about obedience:
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness..." (Rom. 1:18).
"Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you anymore, except you destroy the accursed from among you..." (Joshua 7:12).
"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God..." (2 Cor 7:1).
"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded..." (James 4:8).
"Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath... "Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls..." (James 1:19, 21).

Jude 1: 23 Snatching Them Out Of The Fire

Mat 12:17 ASV - that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,
Mat 12:18 ASV - Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; My beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit upon him, And he shall declare judgment to the Gentiles.
Mat 12:19 ASV - He shall not strive, nor cry aloud; Neither shall any one hear his voice in the streets.    He was made to carry his own cross through the streets of the city ,  he was beaten  and abused physically and he wore a crown of thorns .  Yet he as the son of man could see all of mankind setting in darkness in fear of death bound to their earthly existence .  And the voices of Moses and Elijah on the mount of transfiguration  speaking to him of his cross and his mission .                     Luk 9:25 ASV - For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose or forfeit his own self?   Own self Greek: heauton Our Own: is sometimes used as a reflexive pronoun of the 1st person plural, signifying "our own selves," translated "our own" in 1Th 2:8, lit., "(the souls) of ourselves."    We were born into a spiritual conflict from the very beginning of our birth . Born of the loins of Adam his blood and his flesh and even his will .
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness ,  man was made into the spiritual image of  their creator .   Image of the relations between God the Father, Christ, and man   Jesus said that God is a spirit and those that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth .
Jhn 4:23 ASV - But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers.
Jhn 4:24 ASV - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.

Jesus speaks of bearing much fruit and the fruit he speaks of is spiritual fruit ,  now the fruit is Gods word that Jesus brought to this earth and he was casting the seed of Gods word into the hearts of earthy men born of the dust of the earth .   He said I am the bread of life coming down out of heaven if any man eat of the bread he will live forever and the true bread comes from the true seed of Gods word .     The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised .  Isaiah 61 was the prophetic word to come, and in Luke Jesus brought it to life the word made flesh .    Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,
The poor here is the poor in spirit . Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of God .
Releasing the captives , captive to what .  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vainglory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.    The carnal man is captive to his lust and his fleshly desires .  Jesus said if a man does not take up his cross and follow me he is not worthy of me.   Rom 6  We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection; knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;    for he that hath died is justified from sin.    To recovering of our sight! to see with the spirit of God , Jesus said the kingdom of God cannot be seen with our natural eyes it is a spiritual sight.  1Co 2:14 ASV - Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.     Luke   17: 20   And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:   21: neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.   Col 1:26 ASV - even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,
Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

  Mat 13:18 ASV - Hear then ye the parable of the sower.
Mat 13:19 ASV - When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the evil one, and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side.
Mat 13:23 ASV - And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who verily beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.   A man not repentant of his sinful nature ,   it is that man Jesus came to preach the good tidings to .  The bible says that many are called but few are chosen . God calls us to his salvation he brings light into our dark souls , and this is in the form of repentance .      2Co 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.  Repentance    In the NT the subject chiefly has reference to "repentance" from sin, and this change of mind involves both a turning from sin and a turning to God.   This is as the parable of the sower of the seed , God has to sow his seed in our hearts to bring about this repentance of a sinful nature.    We are saved by grace and given the gift of faith .   The number of man is six and the meaning of six , six , six is who we are in our flesh with out God our creator abiding in our life's .
 It sometimes suggests incompleteness, in comparison with the perfect number seven.         Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;   Romans is the sixth book  and it is the sixth chapter and the sixth verse .   Putting to death the deeds of our flesh is to die spiritually to our carnal flesh . Jesus speaks of our cross to bear before he ever went to his and he told the two men disciples can you drink the cup that I am about to drink .   Mat 20:22 ASV - But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup that I am about to drink? They say unto him, We are able.
Mat 20:23 ASV - He saith unto them, My cup indeed ye shall drink: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left hand, is not mine to give; but it is for them for whom it hath been prepared of my Father.     Cup    figurative, of one's lot or experience, joyous or sorrowful (frequent in the Psalms; cp. Psa 116:18, "cup of salvation"); in the NT it is used most frequently of the sufferings of Christ .        Col 2:6 ASV - As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:7 ASV - for he that hath died is justified from sin.  The only way we as children of God can overcome sin in our life is to lay it down own our cross just as Jesus laid down his life , he said yes you will drink of the cup that I am about to drink of , and those that will sat at my side in the here after will be the Called ,Chosen and Faithful .

Luk 14:28 ASV - For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doth not first sit down and count the cost, whether he have wherewith to complete it?   Jesus is saying here life eternal will cost you your fleshly carnal life in this earth.  Paul wrote in 1 Cor 15 that flesh and blood shall not enter the kingdom of God , man must shed this mortal life and put on the immortal life , which is Christ in you the hope of Glory .      Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:   And the mystery is to manifest the fruit of Christ , seeing Jesus in our self's as in the mirror darkly .  1Co 13:12 ASV - For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know fully even as also I was fully known.            looking at 2 Cor 3:18 we see Jesus darkly
we do not see him fully but as we grow in his word and the understanding of his word we began to see a greater revelation of Jesus in our walk.   Darkly   is an obscure saying, enigma, riddle . But as we peruse his nature through his word we began to see him more clearly .  To solve a riddle is to reveal a truth hidden in the riddle.   Paul called it a mystery  ,   Eph 1:9 ASV - making known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him
Col 1:26 ASV - even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,
Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Jesus said to those that hunger and thirst after righteousness they shall be filled.

 It is Jesus in you the seed of Gods word bring about this glorious mystery of godliness .  We are called to be sons of God and Jesus is that pattern we must build our foundation on .   This mystery is not a topical ointment that we put on our flesh to heal our fleshly sins , This mystery is God sent his son unto you to bring about his life of surrender to his cross his cup of suffering for the many that would believe in his name and become sons just as he was faithful to his cross and is today seated at the right hand of the father.   Religion is an enemy to the cross of Christ .  It has no time to live in holiness to walk a righteous life to peruse that relationship with Jesus and learn from him this mystery.  Friend the mystery is that Jesus said he must go to his cross so that the Holy Spirit would come unto to you and if he be lifted up on his cross he would draw all men unto him through  their cross.
Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.   Comforter   Comfort, Comforter, Comfortless:  Greek: parakletos
lit., "called to one's side," i.e., to one's aid is primarily a verbal adjective, and suggests the capability or adaptability for giving aid. It was used in a court of justice to denote a legal assistant, counsel for the defense, an advocate; then, generally, one who pleads another's cause, an intercessor, advocate, as in 1Jo 2:1, of the Lord Jesus. In the widest sense, it signifies a "succorer, comforter." Christ was this to His disciples, by the implication of His word "another (allos, "another of the same sort," not heteros, "different") Comforter," when speaking of the Holy Spirit, Jhn 14:16. In Jhn 14:26; 15:26; 16:7 He calls Him "the Comforter." "Comforter" or "Consoler" corresponds to the name "Menahem," given by the Hebrews to the Messiah.

Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.  Seeing that the spirit of God is out teacher and spiritual guide.  Just as in the book of Acts 2 the same Holy Spirit that disciples received on that day is the same Holy Spirit that Jesus is speaking of here , being filled with his spirit to teach us and guide us in this holy walk with Jesus.             Mar 16:14 ASV - And afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen.
Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.   To the whole creation that is you and I until the end of all things Jesus returns to receive his children being born of God not Adam .          John 1:12-13        But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his NAME:   Believing on his name is to walk in the power of his name Onoma Greek   the character the nature the whole authority given to Christ as he came in his fathers name  so we come in the name of Jesus Christ with all the power and authority he has given us in his own name . Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.    And the gospel is Mark 16 and the word that Jesus spoke .    v 13  Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.   This is where we through obedience to Gods word and taking on the very life of Christ    through his example of living on this earth .

Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.   Baptized  , we believe in his name so therefore we die to our carnal flesh the nature of our flesh of Adam ,  the only we we are to become a son of God according to John 1;12-13 is to die to ourself our old man of sin.
Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Rom 6:7 ASV - for he that hath died is justified from sin.   Looking now at the words of Jesus to the world at that moment ,   - - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned . If you lose you life in this world getting on your cross of humility and suffering the death of you carnal flesh by obedience to his word of grace.    - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.

1Jo 2:15 ASV - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.      Jesus said if you find your life in this world as to the verse below you will lose your live .       Luk 17:33 ASV - Whosoever shall seek to gain his life shall lose it: but whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
Luk 14:26 ASV - If any man cometh unto me, and hateth not his own father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.  We know God is love and we must love one another with the love of Christ.  This hate in this verse is to hate the sin of our flesh and to hate this sinful world and all that is in it .    Jde 1:20 ASV - But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
Jde 1:21 ASV - keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jde 1:22 ASV - And on some have mercy, who are in doubt;
Jde 1:23 ASV - and some save, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.     Remembering the man at the wedding feast     Mat 22:11 ASV - But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:
Mat 22:12 ASV - and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.   He was found naked not having on a wedding garment ,  the righteous acts of the saints.  Jesus is saying here there is only one way unto the father and it is through him he is that door of righteousness we walk through ,  he is the way the truth and the life .

 This parable is for the church today being clothed upon by obedience to this word , putting on the garments of salvation   Isa 61:10 ASV - I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with a garland, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.    Jesus is coming back for his bride and her Jewels are her righteous acts ,    Rev 19:7 ASV - Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8 ASV - And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.    Being clothed upon
 2Co 5:4 ASV - For indeed we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened; not for that we would be unclothed, but that we would be clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up of life.
2Co 5:1 ASV - For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.
2Co 5:2 ASV - For verily in this we groan, longing to be clothed upon with our habitation which is from heaven:
2Co 5:3 ASV - if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
2Co 5:4 ASV - For indeed we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened; not for that we would be unclothed, but that we would be clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up of life.   We lose our identity to this world and our flesh and take on the very nature of Jesus himself ,  as you have received the lord Jesus Christ so walk in him
Jde 1:24 ASV - Now unto him that is able to guard you from stumbling, and to set you before the presence of his glory without blemish in exceeding joy,
Jde 1:25 ASV - to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for evermore. Amen.

Luk 14:27 ASV - Whosoever doth not bear his own cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.  He that is baptized and puts to death this carnal old man and the works of his flesh shall be saved.
Mar 16:17 ASV - And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18 ASV - they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mar 16:19 ASV - So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.     How can man over look this commandant of Jesus Christ ,  to the ends of the earth shall this gospel be preached .

 You must be born of the spirit just as in the days of the hundred and twenty disciples on the day of Pentecost .   This promise is to you and your children and your children's children to as many as the Lord our God shall CALL !
Jesus said when he the Holy Ghost has come he will guide you into all truth.
Jhn 16:14 ASV - He shall glorify me: for he shall take of mine, and shall declare it unto you.Jhn 16:8 ASV - And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:     The three verse's below is why you must be born again as Jesus spoke to Nicodemus , of the water and the spirit .  The washing water of the word and the Spirit of truth
Jhn 14:17 ASV - even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.
Jhn 15:26 ASV - But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me:
Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.

1Jo 4:6 ASV - We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he who is not of God heareth us not. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Only by Gods spirit living in us can he bring conviction in us of sin in our life's ,  And of living a righteous life before him convicting us by his word of grace.  And lastly the worldly church has no fear of God no fear of his judgement coming to this earth . He did not spare Sodom and he will not spare this evil generation .   Matt 24 is coming my friend and I pray we be not found naked at his coming having NOT ON a garment of flesh but being clothed upon by garments of salvation . And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the Righteous Acts of the saints
Jhn 16:9 ASV - of sin, because they believe not on me;  Many are called but few are chosen
Jhn 16:10 ASV - of righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye behold me no more;  We must now walk in this great word of salvation ,  John  said make your paths straight the one coming after me is greater than I
Jhn 16:11 ASV - of judgment, because the prince of this world hath been judged.
Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:    Fire:   Greek: pur
   of the holiness of God, which consumes all that is inconsistent therewith, Hbr 10:27; 12:29; cp. Rev 1:14; 2:18; 10:1; 15:2; 19:12; similarly of the holy angels as His ministers, Hbr 1:7; in Rev 3:18 it is symbolic of that which tries the faith of saints, producing what will glorify the Lord;        And by his Spirit living in us can he convict us and purge us of all unrighteous . The fire is what burns away the carnal deeds of the flesh ,  and will bring us into a righteous relationship with Christ Jesus.  And the cross is our altar of sacrifice .

Looking at baptism once again and Romans 6 , John came preaching repentance by water baptism . Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;

1Pe 3:18 ASV - Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;
1Pe 3:19 ASV - in which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison,
1Pe 3:20 ASV - that aforetime were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water:  The number eight in bible numeric's is Resurrection , new beginnings and Jesus

Water baptism is not symbolic nor the religious thing to do.  To take it lightly is error .
And according to the word of God a man must be baptized in water unto the remission of his sins ,

Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?  How shall we be saved from this sin
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.     Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
Jhn 16:8 ASV - And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.   This promise is for you and all that ask in faith
ask the Lord to fill you with his spirit .           Luk 11:13 ASV - If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?       Friend you need the in filling of the spirit of God , the full experience of the baptism of the Holy Spirit . Trust no mans doctrine no mans word concerning this promise .  Jesus died for this promise .  Trust the whole word of God and obey the Gospel of Christ his fathers word to you.

1Pe 3:21 ASV - which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;
1Pe 3:22 ASV - who is one the right hand of God, having gone into heaven; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
Tit 3:5 ASV - not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,     Born of God
