Luke 4:18 And recovering of sight to the blind

                                                       Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
Jhn 16:8 ASV - And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment .   Only buy Gods spirit in you can he convict you in your daily walk of the sin in our life's  , only by Gods spirit can he revel to you his righteousness which he commands . and lastly people to day living in the world have no fear of God he is a god of love but he is a God of wrath also  and when he convicts us in regards to sin in our life's we repent and grow in that.

There are two ways to look at these two verses ,    Jesus is telling his disciples and you and I , that all of salvation and redemption for mankind will only happen if he goes to his cross.                           

Luk 16:16 ASV - The law and the prophets were until John: from that time the gospel of the kingdom of God is preached, and every man entereth violently into it.   This word violence is not about evil attacking the church , it is where man putting on the whole armor of God and doing warfare against their flesh , putting to death their old carnal mind .  And coming out of the world not being conformed to this world any longer .   Rom 12-2    And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  Gods word feeding on his word daily and obedience to his word is how we renew our minds .  Jesus was the word made flesh !  and he said to eat his flesh and drink his blood .   His flesh is the very words he spoke feeding on the word of God the life of Christ is in his blood so we take on his very nature by manifesting his life every day.

  John came preaching repentance ,  make straight paths for your walk .   Listen John the baptist was six months older than Jesus , he was called of God to bring the message of repentance .   The world before this was what men call the dark ages , God no longer communed with his people or sought out their fellowship .    Some where around  Four hundred years of silence from God ,  the dark part of this era was because men did not hear from God and they of the flesh of men do began to impose religious rules upon the weaker part of  Creation .    Than God the creator of heaven and earth at his appointed time brought light to the spiritual world he created .   The middle ages was a spiritual darkness that was void of the presence of God .    Isa 61:1 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken - hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,

Mat 11:11 ASV - Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not arisen a greater than John the Baptist: yet he that is but little in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.               John brought the new dispensation of grace and mercy through repentance , John was called by God for this very purpose and he did not fail .  He lived in a wilderness alone with God and his word of truth .  He was filled with the holy spirit while still in his mothers womb .          Luk 1:44 ASV - For behold, when the voice of thy salutation came into mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.    The only way John could have achieved this great commission was because he was filled with the spirit of God to bring this great dispensation .   A man cannot serve God in the power of his flesh it is impossible , that is why Jesus said in Luk 18:27 ASV - But he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.   The natural man can not discern the things of the spirit
  1Cor 2:14  .      Zec 4:6 ASV - Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of Jehovah unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith Jehovah of hosts.
Zec 4:7 ASV - Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain; and he shall bring forth the top stone with shoutings of Grace, grace, unto it.      Zerubbabel = "sown in Babylon"     Zerubbable in this verse is a spiritual type of you and I  ,  we are born of the loins of Adam and his curse is upon all man kind born of his blood, because of his disobedience to the commandants of God .      Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain; and he shall bring forth the top stone with shouting's of Grace, grace, unto it.               Here is the promise of salvation to us all , Jesus said to speak unto the mountain make your paths straight before the Lord  .    And he shall bring forth the top stone with shoutings of Grace, grace  .    The corner stone of salvation the only way unto salvation ,  The way the truth and the life .     You and I were born in Babylon sown in this old world of sin and darkness.   We are coming out of our wilderness just as the children did by leaving Egypt .   Egypt = "double straits"     metaph. Jerusalem, for the Jews persecuting the Christ and his followers, and so to be likened to the Egyptians treating the Jews   . There is so much to say and to understand here but we must go back to the start of this blog now .   Jhn 19:30 ASV - When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up his spirit.    And he gates of hell shall not prevail against his church ,    Jesus did not die in his spirit,  his flesh died Rom 8:3 ASV - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:    Jesus said he had the power to lay down his life and he had the power to take it up again .         Jhn 10:17 ASV - Therefore doth the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.
Jhn 10:18 ASV - No one taketh it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.
 Finished Greek: teleo    Accomplish, Accomplishment:    "to finish, to bring to an end" (telos, "an end"), frequently signifies, not merely to terminate a thing, but to carry out a thing to the full. It is used especially in the Apocalypse, where it occurs eight times, and is rendered "finish" in Rev 10:7; 11:7, and in the RV of Rev 15:1, which rightly translates it "(in them) is finished (the wrath of God)." So in Rev 10:8; in Rev 17:17, RV, "accomplish," and "finish" in Rev 20:3,5,7; in Luk 2:39, RV, "accomplish .                                   The door to salvation was opened wide the moment he gave up his spirit.            Jhn 10:9 ASV - I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture.    Its all about the cross yours and mine                 This is what Jesus was saying to Nicodemus you must look beyond the physical life and see the spiritual life ,  You must be born again Nicodemus born of the water and the spirit .   
     And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment . So we come to this precious truth of the baptism of the Holy Ghost  ,                    Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.    Jesus is saying here I must go to my cross I must die in my flesh as an example to you that as I walk so you must walk also .   The only way he could be the Passover Lamb was to be sacrificed for the sins of the people .     Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins , you must apply the blood to your hearts . Jesus was the example of a sinless life their was no shadow in his turning , therefore he was the perfect sacrifice ,   Mary gave Jesus his flesh body but the egg in her womb that was the son of God was produced by the seed of God himself .   Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.       Col 2:6 ASV - As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,
 Jhn 10:9 ASV - I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture.   

 Jesus says that when the holy ghost has come into your life ,              Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
Jhn 16:8 ASV - And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Jhn 16:9 ASV - of sin, because they believe not on me;
Jhn 16:10 ASV - of righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye behold me no more;
Jhn 16:11 ASV - of judgment, because the prince of this world hath been judged.
Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.
Jhn 16:14 ASV - He shall glorify me: for he shall take of mine, and shall declare it unto you.
Jhn 16:15 ASV - All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he taketh of mine, and shall declare it unto you.
Jhn 16:16 ASV - A little while, and ye behold me no more; and again a little while, and ye shall see me.
Please ask the father to revel this great truth to you , Just Peter said when he realized Jesus was the son of God .                     Mat 16:17 ASV - And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven.
Mat 16:18 ASV - And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
You must be born again my friend ,  born of his spirit and washed in his blood .

Ecc 11:5 ASV - As thou knowest not what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child; even so thou knowest not the work of God who doeth all.
