James 1:17 The Word Has No Shadow In Its Turning

                                                                   Heb 10:22 ASV - let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,
Heb 10:23 ASV - let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised:
Heb 10:24 ASV - and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works;
Heb 10:25 ASV - not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh.
Heb 10:26 ASV - For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,

Mat 11:29 NKJV - “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Mat 21:5 NKJV - “Tell the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ”
Phl 3:21 NKJV - who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
Transform  Greek: metaschematizo  Fashion:
"to change in fashion or appearance" (meta, "after," here implying change, schema, see A, No. 3), is rendered "shall fashion anew" in Phl 3:21, RV; AV, "shall change," of the bodies of believers as changed or raised at the Lord's return; in 2Cr 11:13, 14, 15, the RV uses the verb "to fashion oneself," for AV, to transform, of Satan and his human ministers, false apostles; in 1Cr 4:6 it is used by way of a rhetorical device, with the significance of transferring by a figure.
2Co 10:3 ASV - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh .              This says we our souls are in this body and we must walk in this body ,  being ever vigilant of the frailty of our flesh .  The battle is for our minds , remember the word bewitch in Gal 3:1 ASV - O foolish Galatians, who did bewitch you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth crucified?    Greek: baskaino Bewitch:   primarily, "to slander, to prate about anyone;" then "to bring evil on a person by feigned praise, or mislead by an evil eye, and so to charm, bewitch" (Eng., "fascinate" is connected), is used figuratively in Gal 3:1, of leading into evil doctrine.

 I am believing some of these people Paul is writing to could be some here that possibly were there at Christ crucifixion ,  and also to us that have not seen him .
 Jhn 20:29 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, Because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.  Salvation is more than works of righteousness which we have done ,   coming to Jesus is a life changing event , it should be a born again experience for those that truely believe .   A man is not born again by reciting some words and obeying some ministers Ideal of what he was taught .       Act 2:36 ASV - Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.   Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and see my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and put it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.   Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.

 Jesus is the word of God made flesh with power to move mountains and heal the sick cast out devils open prison doors give sight to the blind . And the blind here is more spiritual than physical ,  A blind man when his race is run faithfully he will inter in to his heavenly kingdom . But a spiritually blind man is dead yet while he lives on this earth .   What has happened here is religion has taken the place of a true relationship with Jesus .   Remember Jesus said he who has the son has the father also.     Your relationship with Jesus if it is a true relationship will manifest his fruit.    For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh ,  John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:  .  Why does John baptize in water  ,  remember John is obeying Gods word to him.   He is using water as a type and shadow of a spiritual grave being buried with Christ
Rom 6:1 ASV - What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 ASV - God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein?
Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?     This is where we as unregenerate souls have a change of heart and we are proclaiming our conversion from death into life , not only to Christ but to the world we are making a statement to the world ,         1Pe 3:20 ASV - that aforetime were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water:      which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;    who is one the right hand of God, having gone into heaven; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.    Jesus said he was the door unto the father no man can come unto the father except through me .   Every thing Jesus accomplished on this earth was for you and I he was the example of a righteous life , the bible says there was no shadow in his turning . As a  chrsytal vase ,  the light shone through it ,   And walk in that light as he is in the light
 Jhn 1:9 ASV - There was the true light, even the light which lighteth every man, coming into the world.    Gods word is that light and it will bring life to those that find it .
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:   Believing on his name is knowing his power and authority he gave to us through his sacrifice ,  out of his side came both blood and water .    His blood reconciles us to the father , the water is the very word the gospel of his father .   We are not only washed in his blood but the water of his word             Eph 5:26 ASV - that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,   that he might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.     Rom 5:10 ASV - For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life;   But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation;

Colo 1:22   yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and unreproveable before him:

Greek: apokatallasso    Reconcile, Reconciliation:
"to reconcile completely" (apo, from, and No. 1), a stronger form of No. 1, "to change from one condition to another," so as to remove all enmity and leave no impediment to unity and peace, is used in Eph 2:16, of the "reconciliation" of believing Jew and Gentile "in one body unto God through the Cross;" in Col 1:21 not the union of Jew and Gentile is in view, but the change wrought in the individual believer from alienation and enmity, on account of evil works, to "reconciliation" with God; in Col 1:20 the word is used of the Divine purpose to "reconcile" through Christ "all things unto Himself... whether things upon the earth, or things in the heavens," the basis of the change being the peace effected "through the blood of His Cross." It is the Divine purpose, on the ground of the work of Christ accomplished on the Cross, to bring the whole universe, except rebellious angels and unbelieving man, into full accord with the mind of God, Eph 1:10. Things "under the earth," Phl 2:10, are subdued, not "reconciled."                             Phl 2:9 ASV - Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name;
Phl 2:10 ASV - that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things on earth and things under the earth,

This verse below is very important to us as children of God ,  it is the express identification of who we are in Christ .  Jesus is called the last Adam in 1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.   Adam gave us this flesh body we were born of his flesh .     Yet Adam failed and God cursed him because of his disobedience ,  so man needed a savior .   And in Gods time he Jesus came , God has  a plan and it will be accomplished .   Mat 1:23 ASV - Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Immanuel; which is, being interpreted, God with us.
The word of God here says that a man at the moment of conception was a CHILD a living soul .   Adam was not born of a women he was created ,   so are we .  Fetus takes away Gods creation his power to subject every thing in this earth unto himself , and makes it an act of the flesh .

Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:   Received   Greek: lambano   Accept, Accepted, Acceptable:  almost synonymous with dechomai, is distinct from it, in that it sometimes means "to receive as merely a self-prompted action," without necessarily signifying a favorable reception, Gal 2:6.         See ATTAIN, CALL, CATCH, HAVE, HOLD, OBTAIN, RECEIVE, TAKE.
Note: The verb charitoo, "to make acceptable," is translated "made accepted," in Eph 1:6, AV; RV, "freely bestowed."     Where Jesus says that many are called but few are chosen ,  this word !  received is stating a calling upon your life ,  The word Called here is a word that states that through the life and death of Christ he has given you an Invitation called is invited . To come to the wedding feast of the son , the Lamb of God .   Receiving that invitation is to fall on our cross Jesus spoke of.   And be reconciled unto God through our death burial and our resurrection in his name.  The character the nature and the authority of all that Christ is in our life .   Salvation is more that a religious act or a few words and than go our way believing we are saved .   The word says in 1Co 15:46 ASV - Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; then that which is spiritual.
1Co 15:47 ASV - The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.
1Co 15:48 ASV - As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.       Phl 3:10 ASV - that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;
 Luk 24:3 ASV - And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
Luk 24:4 ASV - And it came to pass, while they were perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel:
Luk 24:5 ASV - and as they were affrighted and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them,           Why seek ye the living among the dead?   Jesus lives and because he lives we shall also live .      1Jo 3:16 ASV - Hereby know we love, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  We lose our identity with the world and become children of God
Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Rom 6:7 ASV - for he that hath died is justified from sin.      For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.  The only power satan has over us is what power we give him ,  sin brings death we do not have to sin any longer we are delivered form the Law of sin and death.   James 1:13-15

Luk 18:7 ASV - And shall not God avenge his elect, that cry to him day and night, and yet he is longsuffering over them?
Luk 18:8 ASV - I say unto you, that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
2Co 10:3 ASV - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh
 2Co 10:4 ASV - (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds),   Putting on the helmet of salvation a part the armor of God Eph 6
The battle is for our minds friends we need the mind of Christ to overcome in these lasy days .

2Co 10:5 ASV - casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;                                Imaginations    Greek: logismos  Imagination:      a reasoning, a thought" (akin to logizomai, "to count, reckon"), is translated "thoughts" in Rom 2:15, suggestive of evil intent, not of mere reasonings; "imaginations" in 2Cr 10:5 (RV, marg., "reasonings," in each place). The word suggests the contemplation of actions as a result of the verdict of conscience.

Your FAITH in the end will be what saves you , everything that can be shaken will be shaken.                  Wherefore, receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, whereby we may offer service well-pleasing to God with reverence and awe:

Mar 5:33 ASV - But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what had been done to her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
Mar 5:34 ASV - And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.   Only our Faith can deliver us in the days of Matt 24 .

Faith is conviction of the truth of anything, belief; in the NT of a conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, generally with the included idea of trust and holy fervour born of faith and joined with it  the conviction that God exists and is the creator and ruler of all things, the provider and bestower of eternal salvation through Christ  a strong and welcome conviction or belief that Jesus is the Messiah, through whom we obtain eternal salvation in the kingdom of God
