Called To Be A Saint

                 I heard it said one time , that the blood of Jesus brings us to a place of cleansing .  When God sees a new believer he sees the blood of his son .  That is why his mercy is so powerful his grace so wonderful .

Eph 2:7 ASV - that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus:
Eph 2:8 ASV - for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;            So it is by Godly sorrow that men repent and that repentance is a gift from God also .  The words of Jesus are still sounding in the world today ,  having ears to hear and eyes to see .  When Godly conviction comes it brings a sorrow from the heart , and only by a broken heart can a man see his sin and his unrighteousness.

Psa 34:18 ASV - Jehovah is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, And saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.
Isa 57:15 ASV - For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.  Contrite   to crush, be crushed, be contrite, be broken .
Rom 10:10 ASV - for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Heart     Greek: kardia Heart, Heartily:   the seat of physical life, Act 14:17     the seat of moral nature and spiritual life, the seat of grief, Jhn 14:1; Rom 9:2
When we come to God for his help and we need answers ,  our heart is laid bare before him .    It says above he revives the heart of the contrite the spirit of the humble .    For God so loved the world that he gave Jesus a lamb with out blemish  ,      Isa 53:10 ASV - Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.
The word says many are called but few are chosen ,  Called is Gods invitation to you to come and receive the washing power of the blood of his son the washing power of his cleansing sacrifice .                              The word in this message to the church is to forsake the world and come to the cross of Christ .                             Sin will separate you from your father , you not only fall under his blood of forgiveness but you must be washed by his blood .
Mat 22:10 ASV - And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.   The  bad and the good we are all born of Adam and the iniquity of us all fell on Jesus .  God is calling his people to make a choice today to bring an offering to God such as Abel brought he gave God his heart all that he was at that moment was before his father .  The sacrifice to God is your heart , and God accepted Abel's offering .   There are a lot of people like Cain today in Gods church ,   they worship God with their mouth but their heart is far from God .   Gen 4     It says that God refused Cains offering ,   And Jehovah had respect unto Abel and to his offering:      but unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect .  The only thing in this great salvation we have to offer our father is our broken contrite hearts .
Mat 22:11 ASV - But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:     This man was Called of God to receive the gracious power of salvation through his son ,  the power of redemption through his blood . The blood will only cover sins for a season God demands his children to grow and become mature saints in his kingdom .
 1Co 13:11 ASV - When I was a child, I spake as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I have put away childish things.
1Co 13:12 ASV - For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know fully even as also I was fully known.
 Mirror   Jam 1:23, the "law of liberty" is figuratively compared to a "mirror;" the hearer who obeys not is like a person who, having looked into the "mirror," forgets the reflected image after turning away; he who obeys is like one who gazes into the "mirror" and retains in his soul the image of what he should be.      A day will come when God demands you become a full grown man mature in his calling , walking in his righteousness .  The blood of Jesus not only covers the sin in a new born's life but also for a season covers the root of that sin .  But you must grow up unto the life of a mature christian , bearing much fruit of Christ .  Jesus has given you power to walk in this calling ,  Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.
 Jesus said that he is the vine and we are the branches  ,         Jhn 15:5 ASV - I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing.                                Fruit          of works or deeds, "fruit" being the visible expression of power working inwardly and invisibly, the character of the "fruit" being evidence of the character of the power producing it, Mat 7:16. As the visible expressions of hidden lusts are the works of the flesh, so the invisible power of the Holy Spirit in those who are brought into living union with Christ (Jhn 15:2-8, 16) produces "the fruit of the Spirit," Gal 5:22, the singular form suggesting the unity of the character of the Lord as reproduced in them, namely, "love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance," all in constrast with the confused and often mutually antagonistic "works of the flesh." So in Phl 1:11, marg., "fruit of righteousness." In Hbr 12:11, "the fruit of righteousness" is described as "peaceable fruit," the outward effect of Divine chastening; "the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace," Jam 3:18, i.e., the seed contains the fruit; those who make peace, produce a harvest of righteousness; in Eph 5:9, "the fruit of the light" (RV, and see context) is seen in "goodness and righteousness and truth," as the expression of the union of the Christian with God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit); for God is good, Mar 10:18, the Son is "the righteous One," Act 7:52, the Spirit is "the Spirit of truth," Jhn 16:13;
 Mat 22:12 ASV - and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.  This man never grew in the spirit , he was stunted and with out the wedding garments of  a person Called and chosen .  The wedding garments according to Rev 19:7-8 ASV - Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.   And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
 Saints    Greek: hagios Holiness, Holy, Holily:        It is used of men and things (see below) in so far as they are devoted to God. Indeed the quality, as attributed to God, is often presented in a way which involves Divine demands upon the conduct of believers. These are called hagioi, "saints," i.e., "sanctified" or "holy" ones.
Mat 22:13 ASV - Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

Mat 22:14 ASV - For many are called, but few chosen
