Heb 4 :1 - 2 A Promise Being Left / Mixing The Word With Faith

                          Jhn 3:35 ASV - The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
Jhn 3:36 ASV - He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life; but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.
That life we live , is Christ in us the hope of glory that this carnal mind be done away with ,And the life of Jesus be made manifest.The light of the body is the eye if our eye is single our whole body will be full of light.( Manifest is to shine forth)

Colo 1:12-13    Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son:
God is not coming back for the plant your flesh body !  he is coming for the fruit of that plant.   And that fruit is Christ the very life of Jesus,The zoe of God .When we died with him we were raised with him, he nailed our flesh upon the cross with him Do we still live in this flesh yes we do , but the word says not to walk in our flesh as a carnal minded man be we must walk in his spirit as men born of a new spirit .   Walk    Greek: peripateo  Occupy:  figuratively, "signifying the whole round of the activities of the individual life, whether of the unregenerate, Eph 4:17, or of the believer, 1Cr 7:17; Col 2:6. It is applied to the observance of religious ordinances, Act 21:21; Hbr 13:9, marg., as well as to moral conduct. The Christian is to walk in newness of life, Rom 6:4, after the spirit, Rom 8:4, in honesty, Rom 13:13, by faith, 2Cr 5:7, in good works, Eph 2:10, in love, Eph 5:2, in wisdom, Col 4:5, in truth, 2Jo 1:4, after the commandments of the Lord, 2Jo 1:6. And, negatively, not after the flesh, Rom 8:4; not after the manner of men, 1Cr 3:3; not in craftiness, 2Cr 4:2; not by sight, 2Cr 5:7; not in the vanity of the mind, Eph 4:17; not disorderly, 2Th 3:6."

Jesus said you must be born again ,  of the water and of the spirit . The church world is still thinking as Nicodemus did in the natural , when he ask Jesus how can a man be born again . Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jhn 3:3 ASV - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Jhn 3:4 ASV - Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Jhn 3:6 ASV - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

The scriptures speak of two baptisms ,  baptized of water and to be baptized of the Holy Spirit
 Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?
 And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.   Baptized into the name of Jesus Christ ,    the power the nature and the complete authority of Christ .  Rom 6     Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection; knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin; Jesus is our example of obedience . He told John baptize me so that all righteousness may be fulfill .  Baptized into his death and baptized into his resurrection through the gift of the holy spirit .Phl 3:10 ASV - that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;

Baptized a "baptism" to be undergone by believers, thus witnessing to their identification with Him in death, burial and resurrection, e.g., Act 19:5; Rom 6:3, 4; 1Cr 1:13-17; 12:13; Gal 3:27; Col 2:12. The phrase in Mat 28:19, "baptizing them into the Name" (RV; cp. Act 8:16, RV), would indicate that the "baptized" person was closely bound to, or became the property of, the one into whose name he was "baptized."

In Act 22:16 it is used in the Middle Voice, in the command given to Saul of Tarsus, "arise and be baptized," the significance of the Middle Voice form being "get thyself baptized." The experience of those who were in the ark at the time of the Flood was a figure or type of the facts of spiritual death, burial, and resurrection, Christian "baptism" being an antitupon, "a corresponding type," a "like figure," 1Pe 3:21. Likewise the nation of Israel was figuratively baptized when made to pass through the Red Sea under the cloud, 1Cr 10:2. The verb is used metaphorically also in two distinct senses: firstly, of "baptism" by the Holy Spirit, which took place on the Day of Pentecost; secondly, of the calamity which would come upon the nation of the Jews, a "baptism" of the fire of Divine judgment for rejection of the will and word of God, Mat 3:11; Luk 3:16.

  Water    Greek: hudor      to His baptism in Jordan and His Death on the Cross. As to (1), the "water" would symbolize the moral and practical cleansing effected by the removal of defilement by our taking heed to the Word of God in heart, life and habit; cp. Lev. 14, as to the cleansing of the leper.   As to (2), Jesus the Son of God came on His mission by, or through, "water" and blood, namely, at His baptism, when He publicly entered upon His mission and was declared to be the Son of God by the witness of the Father, and at the Cross, when He publicly closed His witness . Jesus went to John and said baptize me also John .

Mat 3:13 ASV - Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to the Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
John was baptizing with the baptism of repentance ,  Jesus had no sin in him he was sinless , the word says there was no darkness in him he was full of light there was no darkness in his turning.
Jas 1:17 ASV - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.
Jas 1:18 ASV - Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.   Firstfruits  Greek: aparche    The term is applied in things spiritual,    to offer firstlings or firstfruits  to take away the firstfruits of the productions of the earth which was offered to God. The first portion of the dough, from which sacred loaves were to be prepared. Hence term used of persons consecrated to God for all time.

(a) to the presence of the Holy Spirit with the believer as the firstfruits of the full harvest of the Cross, Rom 8:23;

(b) to Christ Himself in resurrection in relation to all believers who have fallen asleep, 1Cr 15:20, 23;

(c) to the earliest believers in a country in relation to those of their countrymen subsequently converted, Rom 16:5; 1Cr 16:15;

(d) to the believers of this age in relation to the whole of the redeemed, 2Th 2:13 (see Note below); Jam 1:18. Cp. Rev 14:4." *

Mat 3:13 ASV - Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to the Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
Mat 3:14 ASV - But John would have hindered him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
Mat 3:15 ASV - But Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffereth him.

  Fulfiling all righteousness   /        Fulfil  of persons:

(a) of the members of the church, the body of Christ, as filled by Him, Eph 1:23 ("all things in all the members"); 4:10; in Eph 3:19, of their being filled "into" (eis), RV, "unto," AV, "with" (all the fullness of God); of their being "made full" in Him, Col 2:10 (RV, for AV, "complete");

(b) of Christ Himself: with wisdom, in the days of His flesh, Luk 2:40; with joy, in His return to the Father, Act 2:28;

(c) of believers: with the Spirit, Eph 5:18; with joy, Act 13:52; 2Ti 1:4; with joy and peace, Rom 15:13; [from these are to be distinguished those passages which speak of joy as being fulfilled or completed, which come under FULFILL, Jhn 3:29; 15:11 (RV); 16:24 (RV); Phl 2:2; 1Jo 1:4 (RV); 2Jo 1:12 (RV)]; with knowledge, Rom 15:14; with comfort, 2Cr 7:4; with the fruits of righteousness, Phl 1:11 (Gk. "fruit"); with the knowledge of God's will  of the hearts of believers as the seat of emotion and volition .

Mat 3:16 ASV - And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway from the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him;

2Co 10:2 ASV - yea, I beseech you, that I may not when present show courage with the confidence wherewith I count to be bold against some, who count of us as if we walked according to the flesh.  Being bold in the Holy Ghost not in the flesh
2Co 10:3 ASV - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh
2Co 10:4 ASV - (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds);
2Co 10:5 ASV - casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;

Friend when you come into Gods kingdom there is always a spiritual battle raging about you . You cannot see it or hear it but the battle is for your mind .  The verse above speaks of imaginations and thoughts For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh . (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds);   - casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ .
Rom 12:1 ASV - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.   And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.   How do we renew our mind friends , I ask the Lord that question in prayer one day as I read this verse . He spoke right back to my mind and said by my word ! you renew you mind by applying this word in your every day life . Its to be transformed by the renewing of you mind . We are not to conformed unto this world but to be transformed    being outwardly "conformed" to the things of this age is contrasted with being "transformed" (or transfigured) inwardly by the renewal of the thoughts through the Holy Spirit's power. A similar distinction holds good in Phl 3:21; the Lord will "fashion anew," or change outwardly, the body of our humiliation, and "conform" it in its nature (summorphos) to the body of His glory.

No soldier will go into battle with out his armor and his weapons of warfare , so to Gods children must put on their armor and prepare for battle . A spiritual battle (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds);  Satan came to kill steal and destroy Jesus said satan is the father of all lies.   Eph 6:11 ASV - Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 ASV - For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Eph 6:16 ASV - withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
Eph 6:17 ASV - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:     I know that this helmet is made of pure silver , silver in the bible numeric s is a type of the blood of Jesus .      Is a type of redemption , The price of a soul        Silver Signifies Atonement and Redemption .    The number thirty can also represent the sacrificial blood of Jesus. He was betrayed by Judas for 30 silver coins, which was a fulfillment of prophecy (Zechariah 11:12). When Judas flung the 'blood money' he was paid back into the temple, the priests did not accept it as an offering but rather decided to buy a potter's field with it. Though they were not aware of it, what they did was also fulfilling prophecy (verse 13). In 30 A.D. Jesus suffered and shed His precious blood as God's sacrificial Lamb for the world's sins.

Doing Mighty Exploits in Jesus Name

Isa 61:1 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach good tidings unto the meek , the good news of the abundant life before and after death .

  Heb 2:13 ASV - And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold, I and the children whom God hath given me.       Since then the children are sharers in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same; that through death he might bring to nought him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and might deliver all them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily not to angels doth he give help, but he giveth help to the seed of Abraham. Wherefore it behooved him in all things to be made like unto his brethren, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
The promise of eternal life was not given until Christ came , the greatest most precious thing in his sacrifice was that in those three days of his death he rose again to newness of life . And the promise of eternal life was than made abundant to those that believed in him .    Jesus said I not only came to give you life but life More abundant .    Jesus said I am the door unto the father , no man can enter my fathers kingdom but through me .    There is only one way unto the father friends its the life of Christ being manifested in our mortal bodies.
Gal 2:20 ASV - I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.           1Th 5:23 ASV - And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.     Entire  Greek: holoteles   Whole (Made), Wholly, Wholesome:       "wholly," 1Th 5:23, is lit., "whole-complete" (A, No. 1, and telos, "an end"), i.e., "through and through;" the Apostle's desire is that the sanctification of the believer may extend to every part of his being. The word is similar in meaning to No. 4; holokleros draws attention to the person as a "whole," holoteles, to the several parts which constitute him.
Spirit  Greek: pneuma  Breath, Breathe:  spirit," also denotes "breath," Rev 11:11; 13:15, RV. In 2Th 2:8, the AV has "spirit" for RV, "breath."      primarily denotes "the wind" (akin to pneo, "to breathe, blow"); also "breath;" then, especially "the spirit," which, like the wind, is invisible, immaterial and powerful. The NT uses of the word may be analyzed approximately as follows:
Soul    Greek: psuche   Heart, Heartily:     the soul, or life, is rendered "heart" in Eph 6:6 (marg., "soul"), "doing the will of God from the heart." In Col 3:23, a form of the word psuche preceded by ek, from, lit., "from (the) soul," is rendered "heartily."
Body   Greek: soma           Body, Bodily:          Sometimes the word stands, by synecdoche, for "the complete man," Mat 5:29; 6:22; Rom 12:1; Jam 3:6; Rev 18:13. Sometimes the person is identified with his or her "body," Act 9:37; 13:36, and this is so even of the Lord Jesus, Jhn 19:40 with 42. The "body" is not the man, for he himself can exist apart from his "body," 2Cr 12:2, 3. The "body" is an essential part of the man and therefore the redeemed are not perfected till the resurrection, Hbr 11:40; no man in his final state will be without his "body," Jhn 5:28, 29; Rev 20:13.The word is also used for physical nature, as distinct from pneuma, "the spiritual nature," e.g., 1Cr 5:3, and from psuche, "the soul," e.g., 1Th 5:23. "Soma, 'body,' and pneuma, 'spirit,' may be separated; pneuma and psuche, 'soul,' can only be distinguished"
Gen 2:7 ASV - And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.     God said let US make man in our Image .  And God made man in his Image     Gen 1:27 ASV - And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.      So the father of all things righteous and holy conferred with Christ in his great plan of salvation and said let Us make man in our Image ,             And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.          And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!       It is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.    This is a spiritual truth with a physical connotation .    A camel cannot go through the eye of a needle it is impossible , so it is with man that trust in the arm of his flesh and the riches of this world .  Jesus said where ever your heart is there is where your treasure lies .     Luk 12:34 ASV - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.    Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for all things are possible with God .   This verse is speaking of things in the earth and the things that men believe will save them .  For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.   Money is not evil it is the Love of money that will pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Jesus was the us in that verse let us make man in our image , Jesus was the express image of his father . But Jesus said God is a spirit and if you worship him you must worship him in truth and in spirit these are whom the father seeks to worship him .                               Jhn 4:23 ASV - But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers.
Jhn 4:24 ASV - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.   Worship in Whose spirit and whose truth .  Adam became a living soul by the Zoe of God his very life .     Life   Greek: zoe   Life, Living, Lifetime, Life-Giving:
(Eng., "zoo," "zoology") is used in the NT "of life as a principle, life in the absolute sense, life as God has it, that which the Father has in Himself, and which He gave to the Incarnate Son to have in Himself, Jhn 5:26, and which the Son manifested in the world, 1Jo 1:2. From this life man has become alienated in consequence of the Fall, Eph 4:18, and of this life men become partakers through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Jhn 3:15, who becomes its Author to all such as trust in Him, Act 3:15, and who is therefore said to be 'the life' of the believer, Col 3:4, for the life that He gives He maintains, Jhn 6:35, 63. Eternal life is the present actual possession of the believer because of his relationship with Christ, Jhn 5:24; 1Jo 3:14, and that it will one day extend its domain to the sphere of the body is assured by the Resurrection of Christ, 2Cr 5:4; 2Ti 1:10. This life is not merely a principle of power and mobility, however, for it has moral associations which are inseparable from it, as of holiness and righteousness. Death and sin, life and holiness, are frequently contrasted in the Scriptures.
God breath his life in you also when you were first born and you breath that first breath it was Gods breath you breath.     Jhn 1:2 ASV - The same was in the beginning with God.
Jhn 1:3 ASV - All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made.
Jhn 1:4 ASV - In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Eph 1:3 ASV - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ:
Eph 1:4 ASV - even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love:
Eph 1:5 ASV - having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Eph 1:6 ASV - to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved:
Eph 1:7 ASV - in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,
Eph 1:8 ASV - which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,
Eph 1:9 ASV - making known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him
Eph 1:10 ASV - unto a dispensation of the fulness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in him, I say,
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:     Become   Greek: ginomai  Arise, Arose, Arouse, Raise, Rise, Rouse  "to become, to take place," is sometimes suitably translated "arise;"    Children    Greek: teknon  Child, Children, Childbearing, Childish, Childless:  "a child" (akin to tikto, "to beget, bear"), is used in both the natural and the figurative senses. In contrast to huios, "son" (see below), it gives prominence to the fact of birth, whereas huios stresses the dignity and character of the relationship. Figuratively, teknon is used of "children"  We are babes in Christ to began our walk with him and we must continue in this walk our journey to become Sons of God huios .                                        Eph 4:12 ASV - for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 ASV - till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a fullgrown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Eph 4:14 ASV - that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
Eph 4:15 ASV - but speaking truth in love, may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, even Christ;
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name.  It is not Just saying the name of Jesus it is believing on or in his name .   unbroken "continuance," is used of the continuous Priesthood of Christ, Hbr 7:3, and of the "continual" offering of sacrifices under the Law, Hbr 10:1. It is translated "for ever," in Hbr 10:12, of the everlasting session of Christ at the right hand of God; and in Hbr 10:14, of the everlasting effects of His sacrifice upon "them that are sanctified."  Jesus said in his name we as sons of God shall do greater things than he has done .   I am reminded of a verse in the prophecy of the last days    Dan 11:32 ASV - And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he pervert by flatteries; but the people that know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.      Greater things shall you do in my Name !    mighty exploits shall follow those who believe in the power of his name  .
     Exploits   make full use of and derive benefit from (a resource).  To exploit in the world is to is to take advantage of the weak rule over .   But in this verse its meaning is opposite ! it is to exploit the power of darkness the power of the anti Christ and his deeds.  Through the power of Christ name .  Keep in mind where we started with this thought ,  its just not saying the name it is living in his name ,  Jesus told his disciples he was going away ( speaking of his death and his resurrection ) and he said that where I am going you may come there to .   And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.   And whither I go, ye know the way.    Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way?    Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.
The word name in the   Greek: onoma    for all that a "name" implies, of authority, character, rank, majesty, power, excellence, etc., of everything that the "name" covers: representing the authority of Christ, e.g., Mat 18:5 (with epi, "on the ground of My authority"  in the power of Mar 16:17

Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  Adam was a living soul but Jesus was a life giving spirit .   1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
To be born again of God means we must lose our identity to this world and take on life and the nature of Christ in you the hope of glory.         1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vainglory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the  .    He said he is the way the truth and the LIFE!  Rom 12-1      I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
Jhn 10:1 ASV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Jhn 10:2 ASV - But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
Jhn 10:7 ASV - Jesus therefore said unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
Jhn 10:8 ASV - All that came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
Jhn 10:12 ASV - He that is a hireling, and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, beholdeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth, and the wolf snatcheth them, and scattereth them:
1Ti 4:1 ASV - But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons,
That falling away is here now and working in the hearts of men ,  fall at his cross and ask the Lord to revel his word of truth to you . You need his spirit living in you you need the same  Holy Spirit living in you as in the book of Acts  on the day of Pentecost .  Ask the father to fill you with his spirit .
Luk 11:13 ASV - If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
