Eph 5:9 That You Bear Much Fruit

                                        
Luke 16;1-15   Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
 1Co 13:1 ASV - If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.
1Co 13:3 ASV - And if I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profiteth me nothing.
But what will it profit a man to gain the whole world and loose his soul , Money is not evil ! but to love it is Evil . I knew an older man once and he would always tell me it is better to give than to receive .  He had lost three fingers in an accident in his early years , he would left up this hand and make a fist and tell me Son you can never out give God and you can never out squeeze him. 

I am reminded of the widows mite in giving .
Luk 21:1 KJV - And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.     And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.      And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:       For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her want hath cast in all the living that she had.   Faith is the substance of things hoped for , your total faith in Gods will for your life is absolutely contrary to carnal thinking . 
1Co 2:12 ASV - But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13 ASV - Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Spirit teacheth; combining spiritual things with spiritual words.
1Co 2:14 ASV - Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.          

  So your faith is made perfect through your obedience to Gods word ,   John 16  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.  There are two baptizems for those that believe,  according to scripture as to Acts 2 :38 Peter said it is nessary for your salvationto be saved , Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?  And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.   With out the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins . We must have the blood applied to our hearts as to the Passover Lamb .                                     
 Jesus blood was shed to remit the sins of man.   Remission    Greek: aphesis  Deliver, Deliverance, Deliverer:   denotes "a release, from bondage, imprisonment, etc." (the corresponding verb is aphiemi, "to send away, let go"); in Luk 4:18 it is used of "liberation" from captivity (AV, "deliverance," RV, "release").    Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,
When Peter spoke these words to these men that were pricked in their hearts with Godly sorrow , He was speaking of the truth in Romans 6 ,  The only way to live for God is to die to self and pick up your cross and follow Jesus .  So we are baptized unto his death and unto his resurrection if we die with him we shall also resurrect with him to newness of life .    Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.  To be baptized in water is to be buried in the earth as Jesus was , and to rise with him is to receive his spirit of a new life .
2Co 5:15 ASV - and he died for all, that they that live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto him who for their sakes died and rose again.
2Co 5:16 ASV - Wherefore we henceforth know no man after the flesh: even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
2Co 5:17 ASV - Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.
2Co 5:18 ASV - But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation;
God filling people with his spirit daily , he is no respecter of men        Act 19:1 ASV - And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper country came to Ephesus, and found certain disciples:  and he said unto them, Did ye receive the Holy Spirit when ye believed? And they said unto him, Nay, we did not so much as hear whether the Holy Spirit was given.   And he said, Into what then were ye baptized? And they said, Into John's baptism.    And Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people that they should believe on him that should come after him, that is, on Jesus.    And when they heard this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.     And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.     And they were in all about twelve men.    Baptized unto remission of our sins and Baptized of his holy spirit filled with his presence
Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.   He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned. And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;  they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.   And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.    This my friend is a commandant of Christ not just to those disciples but it says to the whole world to the whole creation of man kind.  Be not deceived ask the Lord if this is true and for you Luk 11:9 ASV - And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.     And of which of you that is a father shall his son ask a loaf, and he give him a stone? or a fish, and he for a fish give him a serpent?   Or if he shall ask an egg, will he give him a scorpion?   If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Lastly I will give one last verse of scripture ,       Jhn 12:46 ASV - I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me may not abide in the darkness.    And if any man hear my sayings, and keep them not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.   He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my sayings, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I spake, the same shall judge him in the last day.   For I spake not from myself; but the Father that sent me, he hath given me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.        And I know that his commandment is life eternal; the things therefore which I speak, even as the Father hath said unto me, so I speak.                       Rev 20:12 ASV - And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.    Gods word will Judge every man in the last day He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.  May God shine his light of truth on you my friend 
Eph 5:8 ASV - For ye were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord: walk as children of light                           (for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),    proving what is well-pleasing unto the Lord;
Jhn 15:8 ASV - Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and so shall ye be my disciples.

                                           Eph 5:2 ASV - and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.   I am reminded of the fathers great plan for salvation to all that believe ,  in the old testament law there was a sacrifice to be given for a mans sins to be forgiven . So the lord God in his great mercy and power to save man gave us a sacrifice once for all times in his son Jesus Christ . There is only one sacrifice for sins in the new testament a blood sacrifice that atones for our sins once and for all .    Even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.

Exo 12:5 ASV - Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old: ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:
Exo 12:6 ASV - and ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at even.
Exo 12:7 ASV - And they shall take of the blood, and put it on the two side-posts and on the lintel, upon the houses wherein they shall eat it.
Exo 12:8 ASV - And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Exo 12:9 ASV - Eat not of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire; its head with its legs and with the inwards thereof.
Exo 12:10 ASV - And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
Exo 12:12 ASV - For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am Jehovah.
Exo 12:13 ASV - And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Exo 12:21 ASV - Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out, and take you lambs according to your families, and kill the passover.
Exo 12:22 ASV - And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side-posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.  I believe this hyssop was to proclaim to every man the preciousness of the passover Lamb Jesus.  This hyssop was a plant in that day use for medicinal purposes an herb for its fragrance it was very aromatic when crushed just as a mint plant today .

 Isa 53:10 ASV - Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.   The children in Egypt were living in darkness and under bondage .  And God sent Moses as a saviour to bring them out of darkness and into liberty .

The first thing God did as to their journey out of darkness ,  was to make a covenant with them . A blood covenant with the children to bring them out of their bondage .  This wonderful type and shadow is to you that believe ,  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him  And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

Psa 51:7 ASV - Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.  David was a prophet he had a relationship with his God , he was very much aware of his Psalms and their power to save .  Jesus mentions David in Luke 6:3-5 David ate the bread of the priest and gave it to his men ,  David had a true relationship with his father he knew what was at stake here as to holy bread . Why would he pray to his father to purify me with hyssop and I shall be clean . Wash me and I shall be whiter than snow ,  only the blood of the Lamb can wash us clean as to sin and darkness .  Rev 7:14 ASV - And I say unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.  David saw his seed as to a son setting on his throne after he was gone .   Jer 33:14 ASV - Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will perform that good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and concerning the house of Judah.
Jer 33:15 ASV - In those days, and at that time, will I cause a Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.
Jer 33:16 ASV - In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely; and this is the name whereby she shall be called: Jehovah our righteousness.  Please see the word She as to the called and unto what name shall she be called , and who is this name SHE referring to as the calling of  SHE  the church of the living God the bride of Christ .  The bride who is the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus .   The Hebrew meaning of this word    She is kä·rä'            to call, cry, utter a loud sound  to call unto, cry (for help), call (with name of God)to proclaim
 to read aloud, read (to oneself), read to summon, invite, call for, call and commission, appoint, call and endow  to call, name, give name to, call by
Jer 33:17 ASV - For thus saith Jehovah: David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

Mat 16:18 ASV - And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.  The rock is the revelation of  Jesus Christ in you the hope of glory .   Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Heb 9:19 ASV - For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses unto all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,  The water being the washing water of the word the scarlet wool be the sanctification of the blood of the lamb and the hyssop being the sweet aroma of his sacrifice .   Eph 5:2 ASV - and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.   God told Moses to take a bunch of hyssop and and dip it in the blood of the Lamb and to strike it on the lintel and the door post .  So by striking the door post and the lintel with the hyssop the whole area was filled with the aroma the fragrance of a sweet sacrifice unto  God of his son Jesus for the sins of the world

Exo 12:23 ASV - For Jehovah will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side-posts, Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.    The door here is your heart your soul ,  opening, doorway, entrance .        Rev 3:20 ASV - Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.   Greek: thura  Door:     metaphorically, of Christ, Jhn 10:7, 9; of faith, by acceptance of the Gospel, Act 14:27; of "openings" for preaching and teaching the Word of God, 1Cr 16:9; 2Cr 2:12; Col 4:3; Rev 3:8; of "entrance" into the Kingdom of God, Mat 25:10; Luk 13:24, 25; of Christ's "entrance" into a repentant believer's heart, Rev 3:20; of the nearness of Christ's second advent, Mat 24:33; Mar 13:29; cp. Jam 5:9; of "access" to behold visions relative to the purposes of God, Rev 4:1.                     I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.   The word Sup Greek: deipneo  Sup:   "to sup" (said of taking the chief meal of the day), occurs in Luk 17:8; 22:20 (in the best texts), lit., "(the) supping;" so 1Cr 11:25; metaphorically in Rev 3:20, of spiritual communion between Christ and the faithful believer.


1Jo 2:8 ASV - Again, a new commandment write I unto you, which thing is true in him and in you; because the darkness is passing away, and the true light already shineth.
1Jo 1:7 ASV - but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Col 1:12 ASV - giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;
Col 1:13 ASV - who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;

 Dear friend you must be filled with the holy spirit as the gospel of Christ tells us , you must experience the power of the book of Acts 2:38

Luk 24:47 KJV - And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Luk 24:49 KJV - And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

 Jhn 14:16 ASV - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,

Jhn 14:18 ASV - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you.

  If you do not know Jesus he says to  Open the door of your heart and he will come and abide with you for ever

John 12:47-48 The words that Jesus spoke will judge

                                             
Luk 8:10 ASV - And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to the rest in parables; that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.
Luk 8:11 ASV - Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Luk 8:15 ASV - And that in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it fast, and bring forth fruit with patience.
Jesus is the sower sowing the seed of his Fathers word ,              Luk 4:18 ASV - The Spirit of the Lord is upon ME, Because he anointed ME to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,
Luk 4:19 ASV - To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.   It is more than acceptable to believe in his word of truth .   The word of God does not change with time ! men change with time .  Its all about their flesh and the power of that carnal mind .   The church in Gods eyes has always been the same.   Jesus said it was that rock and upon that rock he will build his church the foundation of the true gospel .    The tower of Babel  was a spirit of rebellion men trying to find God in their own way , and God confounded their language and dispersed them through the world.       Babel or Babylon = "confusion (by mixing)"   
Men try to change the word of God to suit their fleshly appetites , apostasy abounds in the church today .  That is why my friend you need the Holy Ghost in your life today , I mean the same holy ghost that came on the day of Pentecost Acts 2 Jesus spoke about this wonderful gift many times.   He said if I do not go away the gift of the Holy Spirit will not come , so the power and the life giving spirit was hinged upon his death.   Jesus had to die to bring that life giving spirit unto you that believe . He said if I be lifted up (  on his cross ) I will draw all men unto me .      1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.   I am speaking of a spiritual transformation we die spiritually and we resurrect in our spirrit or our souls .         1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection; knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;             
 Jhn 14:6 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.  The way is to die to self ,  Jesus said we all have a cross to bear and if we do not bear our own cross we are not worthy of him . The cross here is an instrument of suffering .  Our cross is a cross of obedience to his commands , if we obey his words it will being that everlasting life ,    Rom 12:1 ASV - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.  We were bought with a ransom Jesus died the physical death and we are to crucify the works of the flesh in in our mortal bodies.  Die to self and our carnal mind
Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.          For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:    because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be:   and they that are in the flesh cannot please God.         but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.    Jesus is the bread of life that came down from heaven he said any one eat of this bread he shall never die .  Jhn 6:51 ASV - I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.    The bread is his word unto us he said he was anointed to preach his fathers gospel the words of life.    When we read this word and study it we are feeding upon his flesh . the natural man must eat food to live and the spiritual man must eat the spiritual bread of life to live .   And the blood is his very life once again he said to Phillip I am the way , his cross is our cross , the truth is the light we walk in .  They word oh God is a light unto my feet and a lamp unto my path . And the life is the power of his resurrection ,Phl 3:10 ASV - that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;                     Lev 17:11 ASV - For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life.
Jhn 14:16 ASV - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,
Jhn 14:17 ASV - even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.
Jhn 14:18 ASV - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you.  The only way for a man to be victorious in this , to rise above this old world is to be filled with his spirit you must be endued with power from on high . We must have the power of the holy spirit to over come and reign with him in his throne .   Act 2:36 ASV - Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.   Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?    And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.    Repent be pricked in your heart sorrowful for your sins , and than baptized          in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins. And ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  God is pouring out his spirit right now on this earth , the power to obey is in the obedience of your repentance and be filled with his spirit - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you . 
Jhn 3:13 ASV - And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, even the Son of man, who is in heaven.   The only ones in the end that will ascend up to be with Jesus will be like Jesus .   The only one who has ascended to set with his father is Christ Jesus. And those that lay down their life's on their cross and die to self will rise just as he did .  
Eph 4:9 ASV - (Now this, He ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth?
Eph 4:10 ASV - He that descended is the same also that ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)   You must read all of Roms 8  ,               Jesus was the first fruits of them that were to come after him .        Rom 8:19 ASV - For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revealing of the sons of God.
Rom 8:20 ASV - For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but by reason of him who subjected it, in hope
Rom 8:21 ASV - that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.     We must be born again to newness of life ,  being born again is a life time of obedience to Gods word , its more than a confession it is walking as Jesus walked .  Jesus said why do you call me Lord Lord and do not what I say .     That is being born of the water and of the spirit ,    it is a walk we take bearing our cross that brings death to our old carnal nature.   Mat 10:38 ASV - And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.     Jesus told you how to do this walk how to over come your carnal flesh .          Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.   Here is the promise of the baptisim of the Holy Ghost John spoke about ,                              John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:      John brought the power of repentance into our life's and no man shall see God with out a broken and contrite heart . The word says that   For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.    Regret    Greek: ametameletos  Repent, Repentance:"not repented of, unregretted" (a, negative, and a verbal adjective of A, No. 2), signifies "without change of purpose;
 
Jhn 16:8 ASV - And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:    Can you see this wonderful truth here only by Gods spirit can a man walk in righteousness ,  it is a righteous walk our Journey is to fulfill our death on our spiritual cross ,  Cross saturo an Instrument of suffering .   
Jhn 16:9 ASV - of sin, because they believe not on me;    Only by his spirit living in us can he bring his truth into our life's . It is all or nothing friends you must fall at the cross of Christ and follow his Gospel completely or you will never know his perfect will in your life.  The only way God can convict this world of sin is to abide in his people , by his spirit he will speak and train you in the ways of righteousness . If you notice it says to convict not condemn ,  Jer 17:7 KJV - Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
Jer 17:8 KJV - For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Jer 17:9 KJV - The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Jer 17:10 KJV - I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.       Only Godly sorrow can bring our hearts to true repenteance ,   David said create in me a clean heart oh God and renew a right spirit in me
Jhn 16:10 ASV - of righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye behold me no more;    Only by his spirit abiding in you can he manifest his holiness , no man can know the mind God except his spirit lives abides in him .       
  1Co 2:14 ASV - Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.
1Co 2:15 ASV - But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, and he himself is judged of no man.

Jhn 16:11 ASV - of judgment, because the prince of this world hath been judged.       And lastly with out Gods spirit abiding in you ,  his spirit cannot revel the fear of God that comes from knowing and believing God  .   The church today has no fear of God they believe another gospel another doctrine of devils.   Any thing short of your death on your cross is an enemy to that gospel  .  You must be born again to have the eyes to see and the ears to hear what the spirit is saying to his church.   What did Jesus say about men coming up another way to find salvation in their own flesh ..                                                  
  Jhn 10:1 ASV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.      Here is that tower of babel spirit coming again to ravage the true sheep of God .   False teachers apostate in every way hirelings teaching another gospel than that of Mark 16  this is the gospel Jesus preached of his father anything other than this word is another gospel .

Mar 15:15 ASV - And Pilate, wishing to content the multitude, released unto them Barabbas, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.      Barabbas = "son of a father or master"    He was the criminal chosen by the Jerusalem mob, at the instigation of the priests, in preference to Jesus Christ, for Pilate to release on the feast of Passover .  Barabbas was a spiritual type of mankind and being born into sin , and they set Barabbas free and Jesus was crucified and on the Passover the Lamb was slain for the people .


Jesus told the scribes and Pharisees ,    Jhn 8:44 ASV - Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father it is your will to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and standeth not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.  This spirit is alive and well today in the religious self willed apostate church today   And in Matt 24 Jesus says that they will come for you also to kill you for your total faith in Christ Jesus .
 Mat 24:9 ASV - Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name’s sake.   All but one of the Apostles and many of the disciples in the history of the church have given up their life's for the sake of the gospel. 
Rev 2:10 ASV - Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.  Rev 3:10 ASV - Because thou didst keep the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial, that hour which is to come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Rev 3:11 ASV - I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown.    Crown  ste'-fä-nos         metaph. the eternal blessedness which will be given as a prize to the genuine servants of God and Christ: the crown (wreath) which is the reward of the righteousness                   Are you seeing the Greek word for crown is referring to Stephen a disciple who lost his life for the sake of the cross .   And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.
This is the story of Stephen and his words of truth to those that refused Jesus and his word. He goes from Moses to the very moment when they killed him because of his testimony .
Act 7:54 ASV - Now when they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
Act 7:55 ASV - But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
Act 7:56 ASV - and said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
Act 7:57 ASV - But they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and rushed upon him with one accord;
 Act 7:58 ASV - and they cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul.
Act 7:59 ASV - And they stoned Stephen, calling upon the Lord, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
Act 7:60 ASV - And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.  Stephens ministry was very short but he was a true disciple of Jesus and he laid down his life willingly .  
Friends we have a cross to bear also and that cross is to crucify our carnal man and let go of the world and all its lust of the eyes and unrighteousness . Read all of Acts 6 and7  Remembering Matt 24 is prophecy to come .  You must believe the words of God and not man , the people that Stephen witnessed to were convicted of their sin and every word he spoke of the history of the Jewish people there that day ,   it said it cut them to the heart  even knowing the truth they killed him just as the prophets of old .

Rev 3:12 ASV - He that overcometh, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out thence no more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and mine own new name.
Rev 3:13 ASV - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.                        This word is to every one that believes , Hear the words of Jesus believe his words not the words of a man that preaches another gospel .  Jesus said if you will not pick up YOUR cross and follow me you are not worthy of me.   How is it we have a cross to bear and it brings death  the same as what Christ bore at his crucifixion .  A spiritual cross but the cross in Greek is stauros , it is an instrument of suffering a well known instrument of most cruel and ignominious punishment,

Mar 15:16 ASV - And the soldiers led him away within the court, which is the Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.
Mar 15:17 ASV - And they clothe him with purple, and platting a crown of thorns, they put it on him;   Thorn symbolizes      Denoting sin, sorrow and hardship, the thorn is one of the most ancient symbols in the world; together with the ROSE, it represents pain and pleasure, and the thorn is an emblem of Christ's passion, as with the crown of thorns.   Looking here at the death of Stephen and his determination to show forth his love for Jesus and his great faith.  I am seeing that we to have a crown to wear in our life's journey even to the end of all things . Stephen's was the crown of life that Jesus speaks of in revelations.
Rev 3:11 ASV - I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown.
Jas 1:12 ASV - Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he hath been approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to them that love him.

Rev 2:10 ASV - Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.    Stephens crown was his trial unto death he was faithful and he has his true crown now,  ever lasting life .   Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.                                                                                               
  Phl 3:9 ASV - and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:
Phl 3:10 ASV - that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;
Phl 3:11 ASV - if by any means I may attain unto the resurrection from the dead

Confirming The Word By The Signs That Follow

  
 Pro 30:5 ASV - Every word of God is tried: He is a shield unto them that take refuge in him.

The lost the needy the poor and hungry not only need to hear the word of God but they need to see the manifestation of Gods word on the earth.    Mar 16:17 ASV - And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;  Signs Greek: semeion    Miracle:
"a sign, mark, token" (akin to semaino, "to give a sign;" sema, "a sign"), is used of "miracles" and wonders as signs of Divine authority; it is translated "miracles" in the RV and AV of Luk 23:8; Act 4:16, 22; most usually it is given its more appropriate meaning "sign," "signs," e.g., Mat 12:38, 39, and in every occurrence in the Synoptists, except Luk 23:8; in the following passages in John's Gospel the RV substitutes "sign" or "signs" for the AV, "miracle or miracles;" Jhn 2:11, 23; 3:2

 Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.
Mar 16:17 ASV - And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18 ASV - they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mar 16:19 ASV - So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
Mar 16:20 ASV - And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

 1Co 4:20 ASV - For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.     But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Believing on his name is to bring forth his word with power . It says to those that believe ! in the end of all things you and only you will be responsible for your soul .  This bible is no more than paper and ink just another book. But if we receive it as Gods word to us and manifest the power of his word in us.  Just said even if we have faith as small as a mustard seed we can move mountains .  How is it that man has distorted the true gospel the very words of Christ to us his children.  Mar 16 :15-20 was to the whole church And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.    Mat 24:14 ASV - And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.
Jesus said he would not leave us helpless he would send another helper the holy spirit endued with power from on high .  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.   Baptized unto his death and baptized unto his resurrection .   Eph 4:4 ASV - There is one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 ASV - one Lord, one faith, one baptism,


To minister this precious gospel you must have evidence of its power .  The problem with the church today is that they believe another gospel , a gospel of no power no signs of the power of faith .  Jesus said greater things shall you do than I have done by your faith . Jhn 14:11 ASV - Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
Jhn 14:12 ASV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto the Father.   God is calling souls to come and see if he is the Lord .        Rev 3:20 ASV - Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.   This door is the door of your heart , I am reminded of the Passover God gave to the children in   Exo 12:21 ASV - Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out, and take you lambs according to your families, and kill the passover.
Exo 12:22 ASV - And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side-posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.
Exo 12:23 ASV - For Jehovah will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side-posts, Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
The lamb is Jesus and you must apply his blood upon the door of you heart , you must kill the lamb and obey the commandment .   The only way the children were to be delivered from their bondage was to apply the blood upon their hearts .
When he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side-posts, Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you               
Heb 9:22 ASV - And according to the law, I may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.
Heb 9:23 ASV - It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
Heb 9:24 ASV - For Christ entered not into a holy place made with hands, like in pattern to the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear before the face of God for us:
The power of Jesus comes as he said many times in the gospels , these signs shall follow those who Believe .   Jhn 14:3 ASV - And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Jhn 14:18 ASV - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you.
Jhn 15:26 ASV - But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me:
Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.      Jesus is saying I must die and be buried for you to receive the holy spirit he said it was a promise of the father .
The holy spirit is a sign from God as to the power and life of Christ in you ,  Jesus said the only sign this evil generation will receive is the sign of Jonah .  - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you .   Luk 24:46 ASV - and he said unto them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day;
Luk 24:47 ASV - and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
Luk 24:48 ASV - Ye are witnesses of these things.
Luk 24:49 ASV - And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.
Act 1:8 ASV - But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
The reason most Christians do not have the signs following their testimony is that the gospel is that you be filled with the power of God and than the signs will follow those that believe . It has never been about the flesh man has no power no righteousness of his own we need the power of Christ to win souls . The hungry soul wants evidence as to this life ever lasting , you cannot give away something that does not belong to you . If Christ is living in you and you walk in his word than he will be manifested in your life people must see JESUS IN YOU !.    Jhn 14:20 ASV - In that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
Jhn 14:21 ASV - He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him.   Manifest Greek: emphanizo  Appear, Appearing:  metaphorically, of "the manifestation of Christ" by the Holy Spirit in the spiritual experience of believers who abide in His love, Jhn 14:21. It has another, secondary meaning, "to make known, signify, inform." This is confined to the Acts, where it is used five times, Act 23:15, 22; 24:1; 25:2, 15. There is perhaps a combination of the two meanings in Hbr 11:14, i.e., to declare by oral testimony and to "manifest" by the witness of the life.    Jhn 1:4 ASV - In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Jhn 1:5 ASV - And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not.   
If we are going to be a soul winner we must ask Jesus to give us that power from on high .                                        
Act 2:4 ASV - And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
Act 2:40 ASV - And with many other words he testified, and exhorted them, saying, Save yourselves from this crooked generation.
Rev 3:21 ASV - He that overcometh, I will give to him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne.
"the Jews ask for signs," RV, indicates that the Apostles were met with the same demand from Jews as Christ had been: "signs were vouchsafed in plenty, signs of God's power and love, but these were not the signs which they sought... They wanted signs of an outward Messianic Kingdom, of temporal triumph, of material greatness for the chosen people.... With such cravings the Gospel of a 'crucified Messiah' was to them a stumblingblock indeed"
Jhn 6:63 ASV - It is the spirit that giveth life; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I have spoken unto you are spirit, and are life.

The Only Sign / Death ,Burial and Resurrection

                                
Mat 12:38 ASV - Then certain of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, Teacher, we would see a sign from thee.  Looking for a sign to accuse him the more of being apostate to their religion .   Jesus knew their motive , but for the sake of the innocent , hungry people he spoke a truth that still lives in his word today to all mankind.

Mat 12:39 ASV - But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of Jonah the prophet:                              Generation   Greek: genea  Age:       a period ordinarily occupied by each successive generation, say, of thirty or forty years,   metaph. a group of men very like each other in endowments, pursuits, character  Born of the loins of Adam .   From the beginning of time to the end of all things there is only one remedy for an evil generation ! Jesus Christ and him crucified .  With out the shedding of blood their is no remission of sin's . From the Old testament to the New testament it was about a sacrifice for the sins of mankind . The Law brought man to a conciseness of sin , what God declared to be sin !   But we must first look at why did God destroy the earth with water .    Gen 6:13 ASV - And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.   The scripture says that Noah and his sons work on the ark some where around seventy five years .  Noah preached to the people of the coming flood and judgement of God .   Noah and his family eight souls were saved , only eight of all the people in that day were saved . I must add only eight righteous people were saved . 

 I am remembering Abraham and the destruction of Sodom and the cities around Sodom .  Abraham went from fifty to ten righteous souls for God to relent of this judgement on Sodom . Abraham was remembering his nephew Lot living in Sodom and was pleading with God for his soul.  
Gen 19:29 ASV - And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the Plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt.  Because of Abraham God sent the angels to rescue Lot and his family .  It was because of Abraham's righteousness that God spared Lot and his family . Not even ten righteous souls were in the five cities of the plains ,  and only three souls were save out of Sodom because of a righteous mans prayer .  Jas 5:16 ASV - Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working.


2Pe 2:5 ASV - and spared not the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;   1Pe 3:20 ASV - that aforetime were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water:   Of all humanity upon the earth in that ancient world at that time , and only eight souls were saved .  The number eight in numeric's is New beginnings , Resurrection , Jesus.
1Pe 3:21 ASV - which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;

Mat 12:40 ASV - for as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.                                                 Jonah or Jonas = "dove"     From that time began Jesus to show unto his disciples, that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.  Jonah a prophet of God was a man of flesh as we are he was commanded to go and prophesy to Nineveh a great city in his day with many people .    So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of Jehovah. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city, of three days' journey.  And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
Jon 4:11 ASV - and should not I have regard for Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?  One hundred and twenty thousand small children alone , Nineveh was a very large city with a vast number of people .   It took Jonah three day's to walk through the city to warn the people of the coming judgement to repent and seek God .     People in that day could not build this large city and it being  prosperous as it was. A man can walk 40 miles in a day if he has to.  Nineveh was over a hundred miles in length . God was telling Jonah the children need grace the people need judgement .   Jonah was a man chosen by God to be his prophet ,  and Jesus says in our time many are called but few are chosen ,  The gospel of God has nothing to do with religion of man , For the very reason people believe that God does not see their sin is foolish . 
God was trying the heart of Jonah to obey , all your God wants from you is to obey his word to love him .  People say what am I here for what does God expect from me ,    it is  what God has wanted from the very beginning of his word to be obedient to his commands.   Mat 22:37 KJV - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
He is a just God slow to anger full of mercy and grace it says that he first loved you before you ever knew him .  Do we believe Gods word to be true is it as the scripture says   Heb 4:12 ASV - For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.      Jesus said he did not come to judge men he came to save men  .                                                                                                                                                                                  Jhn 12:47 ASV - And if any man hear my sayings, and keep them not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Jhn 12:48 ASV - He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my sayings, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I spake, the same shall judge him in the last day.  Amos 7  And Jehovah said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumb-line. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumb-line in the midst of my people Israel; I will not again pass by them any more;  This word that will judge all man kind is that plumb line of God.

Jon 3:10 ASV - And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil which he said he would do unto them; and he did it not.    Jonah preached what God gave him to preach ,  a word from God .    Jonah was a sign to us all he experienced the death ,burial and the resurrection  .   Jesus is telling us that unless we become as he was we will not enter into the resurrected life .         Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.   Into all the world is from the beginning of this great truth to the end of all things .  There is more than one baptizem in this word of obedience ,  John preached the baptism of repentance and the baptism of the Holy Spirit  .        Mat 3:11 ASV - I indeed baptize you in water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:   God knows the heart of a man he will not endure anything short of a broken contrite heart . 
 Mar 1:4 ASV - John came, who baptized in the wilderness and preached the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins.        It is very clear that repentance is mandatory for salvation , and that this repentance is of a Godly sort .   For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.                                     Do you hear a message of repentance in your time of gathering .  
 The word says that a man must first believe that God is before he can come unto him .  Heb 11:6 ASV - And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.  A man must be pricked in his heart just as the people that was broken in their heart for their sins when they ask Peter what must we do to be saved .  Acts 2
Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.   Johns baptism was unto repentance .      He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved  this word repent is not a common word preached today . The seeker friendly church believes the truth will drive people away ,  Jesus said  in  Jhn 12:47 ASV - And if any man hear my sayings, and keep them not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Jhn 12:48 ASV - He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my sayings, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I spake, the same shall judge him in the last day.   
 In the very end of all things Rev tells us And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.   The book of life will be opened on that day and will it read your name .  Jesus said if you do not repent unto Johns baptism and than receive the fullness of his spirit endued with power from on high be clothed with the holy spirit you will be condemned .      He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.   Repent and be baptized for the remission of your sins,  and you shall receive the GIFT of the holy spirit.   Matt 26   for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many unto remission of sins.  Mark 1 John came, who baptized in the wilderness and preached the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins.    Luke 1   To give knowledge of salvation unto his people In the remission of their sins,  Luke 3 And he came into all the region round about the Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins;  Luk 24 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. Acts 2 And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.   Act 26:18 ASV - to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.  Be not deceived my friend the gospel of God will bring  resurrection life .  Let no man take thy crown
Rev 3:10 ASV - Because thou didst keep the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial, that hour which is to come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

People twist scripture and believe false doctrines , they rebuke this brother and call him deceived twisted .   But we have the Holy Spirit living in us , the spirit of Christ living in us.  We must be born again by his spirit living in us , the Holy Ghost
Christ in you the hope of Glory . Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you. 
Comforter Greek: parakletos   Comfort, Comforter, Comfortless:
lit., "called to one's side," i.e., to one's aid is primarily a verbal adjective, and suggests the capability or adaptability for giving aid. It was used in a court of justice to denote a legal assistant, counsel for the defense, an advocate; then, generally, one who pleads another's cause, an intercessor, advocate, as in 1Jo 2:1, of the Lord Jesus. In the widest sense, it signifies a "succorer, comforter." Christ was this to His disciples, by the implication of His word "another (allos, "another of the same sort," not heteros, "different") Comforter," when speaking of the Holy Spirit, Jhn 14:16. In Jhn 14:26; 15:26; 16:7 He calls Him "the Comforter." "Comforter" or "Consoler" corresponds to the name "Menahem," given by the Hebrews to the Messiah. one who pleads another's cause before a judge, a pleader, counsel for defense, legal assistant, an advocate  of the Holy Spirit destined to take the place of Christ with the apostles (after his ascension to the Father), to lead them to a deeper knowledge of the gospel truth, and give them divine strength needed to enable them to undergo trials and persecutions on behalf of the divine kingdom .
Jhn 14:18 ASV - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you.

Mat 22:10 ASV - And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.  Bad and Good ! , it says good people also will be thrown out into outer darkness .  They are not living a righteous life a holy life ,  they are believing a lie

Mat 22:12 ASV - and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.  He was spiritually naked he was a called as many others but he had no righteous acts

Rev 19:7 ASV - Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.     The word called is Invitation , invitation to a wedding and the righteous will be the bride of Christ .    Mat 22:14 ASV - For many are called, but few chosen.     The word chosen Greek: eklektos   Choice, Choose, Chosen: akin to A, No. 1, signifies "chosen out, select,"   To accept the invitation is to array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
Remember this started out with a calling from God to a wedding feast it said that God said to call the both bad and good . Even the good people called , with out righteous acts will not go to be with Christ.  2Co 5:1 ASV - For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.
Rev 19:8 ASV - And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Perilous Times Are Here

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

  The devil has come down to make war with the saints of God ,    Jas 4:4 ASV   Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?     Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.

Jas 4:6 ASV - But he giveth more grace. Wherefore the scripture saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.
Jas 4:7 ASV - Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
For you who would desire to live godly will have trials and tribulations , some for the purging of our souls unto righteousness , and some for the warfare against satan for our souls. 
God would have not given us armor to wear if we were not to engage the enemy with spiritual warfare .      Eph 6:11 ASV - Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 ASV - For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Mar 1:13 ASV - And he was in the wilderness forty days tempted of Satan; and he was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.  This word beast is very important to understand , when we received the spirit of God we also were forced into our own wilderness a   solitary, lonely, desolate  place of decision .    The holy ghost is the power to over come in this wicked world ,  the endued with power from on high .  Endued Greek: enduo  Endue:
in the Middle Voice, "to put on oneself, be clothed with," is used metaphorically of power, Luk 24:49, RV, "clothed."      Rom 13:14 ASV - But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.    1Jo 2:5 ASV - but whoso keepeth his word, in him verily hath the love of God been perfected. Hereby we know that we are in him:
1Jo 2:6 ASV - he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.

 Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:  First we must see the baptism of John in our life's .   Mar 1:4 ASV - John came, who baptized in the wilderness and preached the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins .     John brought the new dispensation of remission of mans sins ,  and life eternal .     Dispensation    oikonomía, oy-kon-om-ee'-ah; from G3623; administration (of a household or estate); specially, a (religious) "economy":—dispensation, stewardship.   For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.    
Act 4:11 ASV - He is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner.

Rev 3:20 ASV - Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.    Repentance is a daily commitment in our walk, that we live worthy of our repentance , this repentance John brought through baptism of water. Is also a death to self and the carnal mind , repent is to have a change of mind.     Luk 13:3 ASV - I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, Ye Shall All in like manner perish           Luk 16:13 ASV - No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.   The path is to your heart here and it says to make it smooth a well beaten path , this path is for Jesus to come and make his home in your heart , it is having a relationship with him in your every day life .    Obstacles in our life is compared to sin   , everything that is not light is darkness .  The carnal mind is an enemy unto God .  The word saved is also the word  healed it is two fold .     And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.        Faithful is he that calleth you, who will also do it.      
  1Pe 2:24 ASV - who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.   Healed spiritually and physically  our souls are being saved daily as we continue in his commandants and his gospel.       Jas 1:21 ASV - Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.   The implanted word is Christ in you the hope of Glory to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:   Salvation is a journey we walk every day ,  holiness and righteousness , obedience to the gospel Gods word brings about holiness in our life.         Luk 3:8 ASV - Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

1Pe 1:15 ASV - but like as he who called you is holy, be ye yourselves also holy in all manner of living;

Stumbling Over The Words of Christ

                             

                                           

The main theme in this blog is that with out the Holy Spirit in your life ,   I am referring to the experience the disciples received in the verses of  Acts 2:37- 38 the whole book of Acts is a testimony to us as to the promises and power Jesus speaks of in many places of his word.    Jhn 14:15 ASV - If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments.
Jhn 14:16 ASV - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,
Jhn 14:17 ASV - even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.
Jhn 14:18 ASV - I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you.   Jesus says above he prays to the father for another comforter , Jesus being the physical  comforter in that day after his death he becomes our Spiritual comforter .    I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you                                                      
 Jhn 14:23 ASV - Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and WE will come unto him, and make our abode with him. Jesus said I and the father are one you see me you are looking at the father also .
Jhn 14:21 ASV - He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him. 
 It is more than the every day church teaches today ,  To be filled with the spirit of God is an actual experience ! you know when the spirit of God has made his home in you.   WE will come unto him, and make our abode with him .    Rev 3:20 ASV - Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.    The door is your heart  of Christ's "entrance" into a repentant believer's heart  to strike, knock," is used in the NT of "knocking" at a door,     For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
Jhn 14:17 ASV - even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.   He will manifest his presence in you ,     Manifest  Greek: emphanizo   Appear, Appearing:

 The church the body of Christ in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost received the power of the Holy Ghost ,  Luk 24:49 KJV - And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.   Tarry is to set down to wait,  the lexcon says it a dead man restored to life . It is also called the feast of the first fruits.
Endued        Greek: enduo  Clothe:
(Eng., "endue"), signifies "to enter into, get into," as into clothes, "to put on," e.g., Mar 1:6; Luk 8:27 (in the best mss.); 24:49 (AV, "endued"); 2Cr 5:3; Rev 1:13; 19:14.      to sink into (clothing), put on, clothe one's self
Rom 13:14 ASV - But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.         Isa 61:10 ASV - I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with a garland, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.     For as the earth bringeth forth its bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord Jehovah will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.  The robe of righteousness that the saints obtain will come through there life of holy and righteous living and being washed in the blood of the Lamb.   To be wash in the blood of Christ is to take hold of his word and feed upon his word , we feed our flesh daily and see to our flesh needs . So to must we feed our spiritual man , Jesus said his flesh is meat indeed and his blood is drink indeed .
 Jhn 6:53 ASV - Jesus therefore said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye have not life in yourselves. And the word became flesh and dwells among us .   Jhn 1:14 ASV - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.
Jhn 6:54 ASV - He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.  The word of God is the flesh of Jesus and his blood is his very life , Lev 17:11 ASV - For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life.   To drink his blood is to take on his nature his very character all that Jesus is .        Jhn 6:55 ASV - For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.     Jhn 6:56 ASV - He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood abideth in me, and I in him.
 Lev 17:11 ASV - For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life.     Jesus said Jhn 10:17 ASV - Therefore doth the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. He said he lays down his life willingly no one takes it from me , I lay it down.  The greatest thing that Jesus did for man was to go to his cross for you and I and than he had the power to take it up again.

Jhn 10:18 ASV - No one taketh it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.                   And this commandment to us is to  have everlasting life ,    Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.  Jesus was and is the example we live by as he lived his life before the disciples and manifested his fathers word of grace to the world so to we do the same in our life .    That which is spirit is spirit that which is flesh is flesh.                                                                                                                                                                                       Jhn 13:15 ASV - For I have given you an example, that ye also should do as I have done to you.
Jhn 13:16 ASV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, A servant is not greater than his lord; neither one that is sent greater than he that sent him.      Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.   For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror:  for he beholdeth himself, and goeth away, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
To be born again is the spiritual aspect of the newness of life the word speaks of . We must lay down our natural life that our fathers gave us in the natural , the carnal man the man of flesh and rebellion . To obey the flesh is to rebel against Gods plan for our life's , it creates sin in our life's and has to be dealt with on a daily basis.   Jas 4:4 ASV - Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.         but like as he who called you is holy, be ye yourselves also holy in all manner of living;     because it is written, Ye shall be holy; for I am holy.                                                                                                                                       Rev 19:7 ASV - Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8 ASV - And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.  
Rev 19:9 ASV - And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they that are bidden to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are true words of God.
  But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:  and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few chosen.   2 peter 1:10   Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble:
 Jhn 12:47 ASV - And if any man hear my sayings, and keep them not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Jhn 12:48 ASV - He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my sayings, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I spake, the same shall judge him in the last day.  The words Jesus was speaking is the true gospel of his father . This very word will come back to judge us of the life we live  today.                     
2Co 5:10 ASV - For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

The man at the wedding feast was speechless because he did not believe this very word you are reading ,  Rev says that if we believe his word and obey it with our heart we shall be clothed with the bright gleaming garments of salvation .  And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.   Jesus said if we do not pick up our cross and follow him we are not worthy of him.
Jhn 12:49 ASV - For I spake not from myself; but the Father that sent me, he hath given me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

 Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
