Phl 3:10 Becoming conformed unto his death

Rev 19:7 ASV - Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8 ASV - And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
Rev 19:9 ASV - And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they that are bidden to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are true words of God.

Rev 22:12 ASV - Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is.
Rev 22:13 ASV - I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
Rev 22:14 ASV - Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15 ASV - Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.
Rev 22:16 ASV - I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.
Rev 22:17 ASV - And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.
With out this word man would have nothing to say ,  Jesus said this word will come back to judge every man in the end .        Jhn 12:46 ASV - I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me may not abide in the darkness.
Jhn 12:47 ASV - And if any man hear my sayings, and keep them not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Jhn 12:48 ASV - He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my sayings, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I spake, the same shall judge him in the last day.    In revelations is speaks of books and the book    Rev 20:12 ASV - And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. Books Greek Biblion

The book Greek: biblion  Bill:
primarily "a small book, a scroll, or any sheet on which something has been written;" hence, in connection with apostasion, "divorce," signifies "a bill of divorcement," Mat 19:7  The verse says this is the book of life verses the boks I believe speaks of the rewards of the righteous acts of the saints Rev 19:8 ASV - And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.  This is the wedding garments that the man at the wedding feast of the son ,  its a spiritual garment the spirit of Gods word actually living in us and emanating from the saints of God .                       1Jo 3:1 ASV - Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.

Manifested Greek: phaneroo  Appear, Appearing:
akin to No. 1, signifies, in the Active Voice, "to manifest;" in the Passive Voice, "to be manifested;" so, regularly, in the RV, instead of "to appear." See 2Cr 7:12; Col 3:4; Hbr 9:26; 1Pe 5:4; 1Jo 2:28; 3:2; Rev 3:18. To be manifested, in the Scriptural sense of the word, is more than to "appear." A person may "appear" in a false guise or without a disclosure of what he truly is; to be manifested is to be revealed in one's true character; this is especially the meaning of phaneroo, see, e.g., Jhn 3:21; 1Cr 4:5; 2Cr 5:10, 11; Eph 5:13.                                                                                        Mar 4:21 ASV - And he said unto them, Is the lamp brought to be put under the bushel, or under the bed, and not to be put on the stand?
Mar 4:22 ASV - For there is nothing hid, save that it should be manifested; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light.

Rev 7:13 ASV - And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, These that are arrayed in the white robes, who are they, and whence came they?
Rev 7:14 ASV - And I say unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Rev 7:15 ASV - Therefore are they before the throne of God; and they serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them.
Rev 7:16 ASV - They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun strike upon them, nor any heat:
Rev 7:17 ASV - for the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne shall be their shepherd, and shall guide them unto fountains of waters of life: and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.
The pre condition of our walk in this righteousness will  bring about our salvation and the fulfilling of the scriptures above .     Heb 12:14 ASV - Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:

Sanctification Greek: hagiasmos Holiness, Holy, Holily:   separation to God, 1Cr 1:30; 2Th 2:13; 1Pe  1;2

Separation to God, 1Cr 1:30; 2Th 2:13; 1Pe 1:2;  the resultant state, the conduct befitting those so separated, 1Th 4:3, 4, 7, and the four other places mentioned above. "Sanctification" is thus the state predetermined by God for believers, into which in grace He calls them, and in which they begin their Christian course and so pursue it. Hence they are called "saints" (hagioi).     Sanctification is something we do as to living a life of holiness and setting ourselves apart unto God.  the word sin is to miss the mark , Phl 3:14 KJV - I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Mark  Greek: skopos Goal:  primarily, "a watcher" (from skopeo, "to look at;" Eng., "scope"), denotes "a mark on which to fix the eye," and is used metaphorically of an aim or object in Phl 3:14, RV, "goal" (AV, "mark").
Heb 12:15 ASV - looking carefully lest there be any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby the many be defiled;         Rev 17:14 ASV - These shall war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they also shall overcome that are with him, called and chosen and faithful.   We are called of God which is receiving an invitation to a wedding .   Greek: kletos Call, Called, Calling: "called, invited," is used,  "of the call of the Gospel," Mat 20:16; 22:14, not there "an effectual call," as in the Epistles, Rom 1:1, 6, 7; 8:28; 1Cr 1:2, 24; Jud 1:1; Rev 17:14; in Rom 1:7; 1Cr 1:2 the meaning is "saints by calling;"     Remember the word says to the jew first and than the Greek or gentile.  Jesus went first to the lost house of Israel in the very beginning of his ministry . He told his disciples to go the the jew only in the beginning .  Jesus says that those that were bidden or called first shall not taste my supper .   Supper Feast Greek: deipnon Feast:    "the supper or feast" which will celebrate the marriage of Christ with His spiritual Bride, at the inauguration of His Kingdom, Rev 19:9;   So we look at the verse of the parable where the master coming into his supper or feast of the wedding of his son , he looks and see's a man not dressed with the wedding garments  as the others .   But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:  and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless. metaphorically, of putting to silence, or subduing to stillness,    Gods people are preparing everyday for this glorious time of uniting with him in his marriage to his bride .  Salvation is a life time of obedience and sacrifice to the gospel of the Father .    The man at that moment realized he has missed his calling ,  Jesus said if you find your life in this world of living and not conforming to the word of his cross which will separate you unto his holiness . You will lose your worldly life and your eternal life .  The calling is to all that will hear and believe his gospel , and put to death the carnal way of living. Being buried with him in the likeness of his death For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection .   knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;

Romans is the sixth book , and the chapter is the sixth chapter and this verse is the sixth verse.   666     We need our cross daily there are no free passes into the kingdom of God .  Jesus said when the master of the house puts shut to the door .  And one said unto him, Lord, are they few that are saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in by the narrow door: for many, I say unto you, shall seek to enter in, and shall not be able  When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not whence ye are;   The word whence here , Jesus is saying I do not know you or I do not know whose house you are from what family or household you are from .  Children born of God will look like their father ,  it is speaking of the character , the nature the fullness of Christ in you is what will save us in the very end.  Col 1:26 ASV - even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,
Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Col 1:28 ASV - whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ;      And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.  The word cross  Greek: stauros  Cross, Crucify:      a well known instrument of most cruel and ignominious punishment is an instrument of suffering .  The cross points to Jesus and his sacrifice for mankind , to us that believe share in this death of his cross spiritually .  The reason God created mankind the greatest of all his creations , so when people say why am I here for,  why did God make me thus and thus .   And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  He wants his children to Love him and believe him at his word .  Jesus was that example of perfection while on this earth in a body like ours , he lived a life of complete obedience to his father . He knows the life of the flesh and its boundaries .  And if we do sin we knowledge our sin unto him and it says that he will forgive us of that sin through true repentance and cleanse us of all unrighteousness.

Mat 22:14 ASV - For many are called, but few chosen.
Mat 22:10 ASV - And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.   Bad is the condition we as people under a sinful nature and with out light in our life.  Good is the out come of believing and embracing the cross of Christ and being changed by the benefit of his grace.
Good  Greek: agathon  Benefit, Benefactor:  the neuter of agathos, used as a noun in Phm 1:14, is translated "benefit  Grace Greek: charis Benefit, Benefactor:   "grace," is once rendered "benefit," 2Cr 1:15; it stresses the character of the "benefit," as the effect of the gracious disposition of the benefactor.
Mat 22:11 ASV - But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:
Mat 22:12 ASV - and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.
Mat 22:13 ASV - Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
Mat 22:14 ASV - For many are called, but few chosen.
agathós, ag-ath-os'; a primary word; "good" (in any sense, often as noun):—benefit, good
The neuter of the adjective with the definite article signifies that which is "good," lit., "the good," as being morally honorable, pleasing to God, and therefore beneficial. Christians are to prove it, Rom 12:2; to cleave to it, Rom 12:9; to do it, Rom 13:3; Gal 6:10; 1Pe 3:11 (here, and here only, the article is absent); Jhn 5:29 (here, the neuter plural is used, "the good things"); to work it, Rom 2:10; Eph 4:28; 6:8; to follow after it, 1Th 5:15; to be zealous of it, 1Pe 3:13; to imitate it, 3Jo 1:11; to overcome evil with it, Rom 12:21. Governmental authorities are ministers of "good," i.e., that which is salutary, suited to the course of human affairs, Rom 13:4. In Phm 1:14, "thy goodness," RV (lit., "thy good"), means "thy benefit." As to Mat 19:17, "why askest thou Me concerning that which is good?" the RV follows the most ancient mss.
