Love is  a fullfilling of the Law

Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: love therefore is the fulfilment of the law.

Rom 8:1   Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.   For what the Law could not do,  weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  The word Likness        the association here of the two words homoioma and eikon (see IMAGE) serves to enhance the contrast between the idol and "the glory of the incorruptible God,   Gen 5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;    Adam was made of the earth and so was Jesus he took on the likeness of sinful flesh .  His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  Jesus was our example that if we must walk as he walked in the power of Gods grace.     1Jo 2:5 but whoso keepeth his word, in him verily hath the love of God been perfected. Hereby we know that we are in him:  he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.

LAW   no'-mos  law as prescribed by custom, or by statute;" the word ethos, "custom," was retained for unwritten "law," while nomos became the established name for "law" as decreed by a state and set up as the standard for the administration of justice.

Rom 5:13    Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Phl 3:8 Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ, and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:  that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;if by any means I may attain unto the resurrection from the dead.

1Th 5:15 See that none render unto any one evil for evil; but always follow after that which is good, one toward another, and toward all.Rejoice always;pray without ceasing;in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to you-ward.Quench not the Spirit;despise not prophesyings;prove all things; hold fast that which is good;abstain from every form of evil.   And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who will also do it. Entire  holokleros  Entire:"complete, sound in every part" (holos, "whole," kleros, "a lot," i.e., with all that has fallen by lot), is used ethically in 1Th 5:23, indicating that every grace present in Christ should be manifested in the believer;

Heb 4:12  For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Jas 1:4 And let patience have its perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.   Perfect  Greek: teleios

Age:"complete, perfect," from telos, "an end," is translated "of full age" in Hbr 5:14, AV (RV, "fullgrown man").       Greek: holokleros Entire:    "complete, sound in every part" (holos, "whole," kleros, "a lot," i.e., with all that has fallen by lot), is used ethically in 1Th 5:23,

Eph 2:5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved),       Grace Greek: charis   Benefit, Benefactor:  "grace," is once rendered "benefit," 2Cr 1:15; it stresses the character of the "benefit," as the effect of the gracious disposition of the benefactor.

 Sowing and Reaping

I was listening to a man teaching this morning and as I heard his voice and the words he spoke . The word Porter came to me , so as he finished his teaching . I held on to that word Porter and I went to the scripture John 10:1 . I was wanting to know the word porter in Greek .  Who is opening the door for the shepheard and his sheep ,   The Porter .  We who have heard his voice and obey his voice . Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek . We are called to plant the seed of Gods word . Mar 4:14 The sower soweth the word.      sowing" spiritual things in preaching and teaching , the harvest being proportionate to the "sowing" .

Jhn 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.. Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.  To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

Jhn 10:9  I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture.  Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Door  Greek  thü'-rä metaphorically, of Christ, Jhn 10:7, 9; of faith, by acceptance of the Gospel, Act 14:27; of "openings" for preaching and teaching the Word of God, 1Cr 16:9; 2Cr 2:12; Col 4:3; Rev 3:8; of "entrance" into the Kingdom of God

Porter . A male or a female janitor . Greek: thuroros

Porter:  "a door-keeper" (thura, "a door," ouros, "a guardian"), is translated "porter" in Mar 13:34; Jhn 10:3; it is used of a female in Jhn 18:16, 17, translated "(her) that kept the door."

Greek: thura

Jhn 10:2    But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.  Door Greek: thura  of "entrance" into the Kingdom of God, Mat 25:10; Luk 13:24, 25; of Christ's "entrance" into a repentant believer's heart, Rev 3:20; of the nearness of Christ's second advent, Mat 24:33; Mar 13:29; cp. Jam 5:9; of "access" to behold visions relative to the purposes of God, Rev 4:1.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

To preach the gospel to all that will hear , Jesus is the word made flesh and when we speak his word of grace , The word says if any man hear my voice and open the door. Gods children are a voice in the wilderness.   Jesus says  I will enter in to a mans heart . (Rom 10:9 because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.)    homologeo Confess, Confession:   lit., "to speak the same thing" (homos, "same," lego, "to speak"), "to assent, accord, agree with, To speak the word of God is to agree with his word
