Called To Be A Witness

Pro 26:2 ASV - As the sparrow in her wandering, as the swallow in her flying, So the curse that is causeless alighteth not.  Gods Law that Moses gave to the children of God was still in effect
when Christ came ,  Jesus said he came not to do away with that Law but to fullfill it .  Now if we read Deut 28 we can see the out come , or the blessings and the curses for those that obey the Law and those that disobey the Law .   Now if Jesus fulfilled the Law than the curse is causeless to effect those that are under the blood of Christ . God has made a New Covenant with us through Christ a new law a law of liberty.    Heb 10:26 ASV - For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,    Wilfully   Greek: hekousios           Wilfully, Willfully:
denotes "voluntarily, willingly,"      Hbr 10:26, (of sinning) "willfully;" in 1Pe 5:2, "willingly" (of exercising oversight over the flock of God).     Repentance is the key here having a change of mind when we are corrected.     1Jo 1:8 ASV - If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jo 1:9 ASV - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jo 1:10 ASV - If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.                    

 Heb 5:12 ASV - For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food.
Heb 5:13 ASV - For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the word of righteousness; for he is a babe.
Heb 5:14 ASV - But solid food is for fullgrown men, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.   Babies in Christ are forgiven sin because of ignorance to the word .   Some where in our walk we have to grow up unto full grown men
For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the word of righteousness; for he is a babe.   In the beginning of our walk with God we start off as children, babies and your father loves you and realizes your infancy .  As we walk in this word and submit to the word your father will hold you accountable for what you know.  So you go from a baby pulling up to the coffee table and taking small steps to walking with confidence .  So when we are small and young in the Lord he has favor and tenderness for his babies , there comes a time when he requires you to take bigger steps in his word , exercise your faith  . Without faith it is impossible to please God. 
Babies are covered by the blood of Christ but a time comes when you father is going to pull the covering back and expose the root of sin in our life's with the light of his word .  And require you to grow up and become a full grown man .    If we do not take this word and walk in it we condem ourselfs to judgement ,  Jesus said he was the way the truth and the life .

Rom 8:2 ASV - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
1Co 15:56 ASV - The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law:



1Co 15:47 ASV - The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.
1Co 15:48 ASV - As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 ASV - And as we have borne the IMAGE of the earthy, we shall also bear the IMAGE of the heavenly.
1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.   This body of our flesh is commanded by the word of God to die ,  keep in mind its the flesh not your soul.    Heb 9:24 ASV - For Christ entered not into a holy place made with hands, like in pattern to the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear before the face of God for us:
Heb 9:25 ASV - nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place year by year with blood not his own;
Heb 9:26 ASV - else must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once at the end of the ages hath he been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Heb 9:27 ASV - And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this cometh judgment;
Heb 9:28 ASV - so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.

The last enemy is our flesh our carnal nature ,      Gal 5:16 ASV - But I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.      Lust   Greek: epithumia

Covet, Covetous, Covetousness:
denotes "coveting," Rom 7:7, 8, RV; AV, "lust" and "concupiscence;" the commandment here referred to convicted him of sinfulness in his desires for unlawful objects besides that of gain.

1Jo 2:16 ASV - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness , for the kingdom of God is NOT! meat nor drink ( catering to our flesh )    but Righteousness , Peace and Joy .   

Jas 1:12 ASV - Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he hath been approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to them that love him.

Entire:
"complete, sound in every part" (holos, "whole," kleros, "a lot," i.e., with all that has fallen by lot), is used ethically in 1Th 5:23, indicating that every grace present in Christ should be manifested in the believer; so Jam 1:4. In the Sept. the word is used, e.g., of a "full" week, Lev 23:15; of altar stones unhewn, Deu 27:6; Jos 8:31; of a "full-grown" vine tree, useless for work, Eze 15:5; of the "sound" condition of a sheep, Zec 11:16.

God has redeemed your spirit by the blood of his son ,  now he is redeeming your soul every day by his fire he is purging us with the fire of the Holy Ghost  .   As gold is tried by fire and purified ,   Rev 3:18 ASV - I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and that the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eyesalve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see.   Eyesalve  Greek   of the true knowledge of one's condition and of the claims of Christ .  There is a cost to being saved Jesus said to count that cost ,  the cross he spoke of in the gospels is exactlly what it means suffering for the sake of his name and his righteous .    Mat 7:14 ASV - For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it. Afflict (-ed), Affliction:
"to suffer affliction, to be troubled," has reference to sufferings due to the pressure of circumstances, or the antagonism of persons, 1Th 3:4; 2Th 1:6, 7; "straitened," in Mat 7:14 (RV); "throng," Mar 3:9; "afflicted," 2Cr 1:6; 7:5 (RV); 1Ti 5:10; Hbr 11:37; "pressed," 2Cr 4:8. Both the verb and the noun (see B, No. 4), when used of the present experience of believers, refer almost invariably to that which comes upon them from without.   Witness is another name for martyr  ,  Greek: martus | martur        Witness (Noun and Verb):  "martyr," one who bears "witness" by his death) denotes "one who can or does aver what he has seen or heard or knows;" it is used .  
(a) of God, Rom 1:9; 2Cr 1:23; Phl 1:8; 1Th 2:5, 10 (2nd part);

(b) of Christ, Rev 1:5; 3:14;

(c) of those who "witness" for Christ by their death, Act 22:20; Rev 2:13; Rev 17:6;


1Co 15:22 ASV - For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:23 ASV - But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ's, at his coming.
1Co 15:24 ASV - Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power.
1Co 15:25 ASV - For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet.

Image:
denotes "an image;" the word involves the two ideas of representation and manifestation. "The idea of perfection does not lie in the word itself, but must be sought from the context" (Lightfoot); the following instances clearly show any distinction between the imperfect and the perfect likeness.

The word is used

(1) of an "image" or a coin (not a mere likeness), Mat 22:20; Mar 12:16; Luk 20:24; so of a statue or similar representation (more than a resemblance), Rom 1:23; Rev 13:14, 15 (thrice); 14:9, 11; 15:2; 16:2; 19:20; 20:4; of the descendants of Adam as bearing his image, 1Cr 15:49, each a representation derived from the prototype;

(2) of subjects relative to things spiritual, Hbr 10:1, negatively of the Law as having "a shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of the things," i.e., not the essential and substantial form of them; the contrast has been likened to the difference between a statue and the shadow cast by it;

(3) of the relations between God the Father, Christ, and man,

(a) of man as he was created as being a visible representation of God, 1Cr 11:7, a being corresponding to the original; the condition of man as a fallen creature has not entirely effaced the "image;" he is still suitable to bear responsibility, he still has Godlike qualities, such as love of goodness and beauty, none of which are found in a mere animal; in the Fall man ceased to be a perfect vehicle for the representation of God; God's grace in Christ will yet accomplish more than what Adam lost;

(b) of regenerate persons, in being moral representations of what God is, Col 3:10; cp. Eph 4:24;

(c) of believers, in their glorified state, not merely as resembling Christ but representing Him, Rom 8:29; 1Cr 15:49; here the perfection is the work of Divine grace; believers are yet to represent, not something like Him, but what He is in Himself, both in His spiritual body and in His moral character;

(d) of Christ in relation to God, 2Cr 4:4, "the image of God," i.e., essentially and absolutely the perfect expression and representation of the Archetype, God the Father; in Col 1:15, "the image of the invisible God" gives the additional thought suggested by the word "invisible," that Christ is the visible representation and manifestation of God to created beings; the likeness expressed in this manifestation is involved in the essential relations in the Godhead, and is therefore unique and perfect; "he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father," Jhn 14:9. "The epithet "invisible."... must not be confined to the apprehension of the bodily senses, but will include the cognizance of the inward eye also" (Lightfoot).

As to synonymous words, homoioma, "likeness," stresses the resemblance to an archetype, though the resemblance may not be derived, whereas eikon is a "derived likeness" (see LIKENESS); eidos, "a shape, form," is an appearance, "not necessarily based on reality" (see FORM); skia, is "a shadowed resemblance" (see SHADOW); morphe is "the form, as indicative of the inner being"

1Jo 3:1 ASV - Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.

Dear Bro and Sisters you need the true experience of the Holy Spirit just as in the book of Acts for the disciples on the day of Pentecost.  Jesus told his disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they be endued or filled with power .   Are you filled with the spirit of God if you are not sure ? than ask the Lord to fill you with his spirit .

Baptized Into His Death?

2Ti 3:16 ASV - Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness.
2Ti 3:17 ASV - That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.
Pro 15:10 ASV - There is grievous correction for him that forsaketh the way; And he that hateth reproof shall die.

Pro 4:18 ASV - But the path of the righteous is as the dawning light, That shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
Mat 5:48 ASV - Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Mat 19:21 ASV - Jesus said unto him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell that which thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
Col 1:28 ASV - whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ;

Perfect (Adjective and Verb), Perfectly:
signifies "having reached its end" (telos), "finished, complete, perfect." It is used

(I) of persons,

(a) primarily of physical development, then, with ethical import, "fully grown, mature," 1Cr 2:6; 14:20 ("men;" marg., "of full age"); Eph 4:13; Phl 3:15; Col 1:28; 4:12; in Hbr 5:14, RV, "fullgrown" (marg., "perfect"), AV, "of full age" (marg., "perfect");

(b) "complete," conveying the idea of goodness without necessary reference to maturity or what is expressed under (a), Mat 5:48; 19:21; Jam 1:4 (2nd part); 3:2. It is used thus of God in Mat 5:48;
(II) of "things, complete, perfect," Rom 12:2; 1Cr 13:10 (referring to the complete revelation of God's will and ways, whether in the completed Scriptures or in the hereafter); Jam 1:4 (of the work of patience); Jam 1:25; 1Jo 4:18.

Eph 4:11 ASV - And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;    God never intended for one man to be the last word over the church of the first born Jesus .  So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers .  To bring fruit to the body of believers ,  having reached its end" (telos), "finished, complete, perfect."      There is wisdom in the multitude of the righteous , Eph 3:9 ASV - and to make all men see what is the dispensation of the mystery which for ages hath been hid in God who created all things;
Eph 3:10 ASV - to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Assembly:  The called out to the whole company of the redeemed throughout the present era, the company of which Christ said, "I will build My Church," Mat 16:18, and which is further described as "the Church which is His Body," Eph 1:22; 5:23,

I believe Gods plan will be fulfilled in our life time and I believe the church the true believers will see the fulfillment of this scripture .  It is also call the five fold ministry  , Jesus  gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. For the perfecting of the saints.

Some where in the past men have deviated away from this scripture ,  and the church has suffered greatly because of it .  The only way for God to bless the church in its fullest form is to manifest these gifts , all the gifts.  Religion has perverted the word of God , the church has no power .   When is the last time you have been to church and seen the great commission operating in power.

And seen the gifts of the spirit working in the believers .  Man in his arrogance , pride and unbelief
 are missing God and the power of his word .  And these signs shall accompany them that believe
do you believe  ?  have you been baptized.  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.   Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Some say baptism is not necessary  unto salvation its just formality or some church doctrine .
These are the same people that do not believe the five fold gifts Jesus gave to the church. The same people that disbelieve in the casting out devils and healing of the sick .   This is the perversion of the true gospel ,  another gospel with no power .    2Ti 3:5 ASV - holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away.
2Ti 3:7 ASV - ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.
Is this not the great commission Jesus himself says if you do not die to your carnal flesh put to death your old carnal nature , why did he say many times to pick up your cross and FOLLOW him .Where is he going for us to follow him   

 Jhn 14:3 ASV - And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Jhn 14:4 ASV - And whither I go, ye know the way.
Jhn 14:5 ASV - Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way?
Jhn 14:6 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus just told us the way to eternal life and how to follow him ,  put to death the deeds of the flesh and live .      Rom 8:11 ASV - But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Rom 8:12 ASV - So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh:
Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Rom 8:14 ASV - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Act 2:20 ASV - The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the day of the Lord come, That great and notable day. Matt 24 Peter was there when Jesus spoke this word
Act 2:21 ASV - And it shall be, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Peter is talking about the coming of the Lord here and that the promise is for all that obey his words ,   This promise did not die it is still in effect today for you and all that repent  Before the day of the Lord come, That great and notable day.  The end of all things
1Pe 4:7 ASV - But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore of sound mind, and be sober unto prayer:
Mat 28:20 ASV - teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. This is a command of Christ himself ! even to the end of the world.

Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?    This was Godly sorrow at work in these people they were broken in their hearts .
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.   Here is where Romans 6 comes in ,  its not just something people do as a formal church doctrine.  I want my sins remitted and the only way to do that is to follow this commandment.
Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.   This is what Peter commanded those people to do who were dead in their sins .   There are two things here to do for your salvation's sake Repent
to change one's mind, i.e. to repent  to change one's mind for better, heartily to amend with abhorrence of one's past sins and be baptized  Those who obeyed came "confessing their sins," thus acknowledging their unfitness to be in the Messiah's coming Kingdom. Distinct from this is the "baptism" enjoined by Christ, Mat 28:19, a "baptism" to be undergone by believers, thus witnessing to their identification with Him in death, burial and resurrection .   and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins ,  unless you die to self your sins will follow you .   He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned , what is he saying here believe what ?   That he is the way the truth and the life and he says no man can come unto the father with out this obedience to his word.    1Jo 2:6 ASV - he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.


1Pe 3:18 ASV - Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;
1Pe 3:19 ASV - in which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison,
1Pe 3:20 ASV - that aforetime were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water:
1Pe 3:21 ASV - which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;

Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.

a strengthened form of pas, signifies "quite all, the whole," and, in the plural, "all, all things." Preceded by an article and followed by a noun it means "the whole of.

Jhn 3:3 ASV - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!
Jhn 3:6 ASV - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Do you have the Spirit Jesus is speaking of here ,   Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.     Ask the Lord the bible says he hastens to perform his word .  This is the promise Jesus spoke of

Jhn 14:17 ASV - even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.
Jhn 16:13 ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.

Eating The Bread Of Life

Jhn 6:48 ASV - I am the bread of life.
Jhn 6:49 ASV - Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.
Jhn 6:50 ASV - This is the bread which cometh down out of heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
Jhn 6:51 ASV - I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.
Jhn 6:53 ASV - Jesus therefore said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye have not life in yourselves.

by metonymy, "the outward and seeming," as contrasted with the spirit, the inward and real, Jhn 6:63; 2Cr 5:16

In Col 2:18 the noun sarx is used in the phrase "(by his) fleshly mind," lit., "by the mind of his flesh" [see (h) above], whereas the mind ought to be dominated by the Spirit.

Eat, Eat With, Eating:
primarily, "to gnaw, to chew," stresses the slow process; it is used metaphorically of the habit of spiritually feeding upon Christ, Jhn 6:54, 56-58 (the aorists here do not indicate a definite act, but view a series of acts seen in perspective); of the constant custom of "eating" in certain company, Jhn 13:18; of a practice unduly engrossing the world, Mat 24:38.

Drink
Greek: pino

Drink (-eth, -er, -ing), Drank:
"to drink," is used chiefly in the Gospels and in 1 Cor., whether literally (most frequently), or figuratively,

(a) of "drinking" of the blood of Christ, in the sense of receiving eternal life, through His death, Jhn 6:53, 54, 56;

(b) of "receiving" spiritually that which refreshes, strengthens and nourishes the soul, Jhn 7:37;

(c) of "deriving" spiritual life from Christ, Jhn 4:14, as Israel did typically, 1Cr 10:4;

Rom 14:17 ASV - for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking,  but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.  Please see the contrast here of the fleshly , earthly nature of man always seeing to the needs of his flesh. But Jesus comes and propels man into the spiritual life.
The verse above speaks of Gods kingdom opposed to the nature of Adam and the worldly kingdom.  Gods kingdom is centered around himself righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 
 Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!  So here is his flesh to eat,    the word of God made flesh we must he says eat this word to live spiritually and also the word of God washes us daily as we receive it into our spirit .   Eph 5:26 ASV - that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,  The word IT here is you and I the church of the living God.
Jhn 3:6 ASV - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit
Nicodemus was seeing it in the letter of the word , not the spirit of the word.  And even today man is looking at this word of God in the Letter .  When you are born again you must leave this carnal world behind , Jesus said you cannot serve two masters you must choose one or the other .  

Jhn 3:6 ASV - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit
We see the flesh that Jesus is speaking of , eating his flesh is spiritual .  A mans body in the natural will die within forty days if he does not receive food and water. So we eat the natural food to keep our flesh man alive . But we have a spiritual man also being born of God . Jesus was the word of God made flesh and we consume Gods word in Christ to feed our spiritual man or he will die also .   Col 3:10 ASV - and have put on the new man, that is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Lev 17:11 ASV - For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life.
This verse is all about Jesus for the life of his flesh was in his blood sacrifice .  Jesus died and was buried , but he resurrected to newness of life and walked out of that tomb.   And he said the last enemy to be conquered is death and he did that he took the keys of hell and death . 
Rev 1:18 ASV - and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.    Mat 16:19
His death and his resurrection was for all man kind and now he has given you the right to defeat death through his sacrifice .  This is the cross for you and I he speaks of all through the gospels.
The cross is an instrument of suffering ,   Rom 8:13 ASV - for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;  Your enemy to conquer  is your carnal nature but Jesus gave us the liberty to over come the law of sin and death ,  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.    Rev 13:18 ASV - Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and sixty and six.  The beast is mans carnal nature Adam sin against God and was cursed .  And everyone born after Adam are cursed also   1Co 15:44 ASV - it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Romans is the sixth book in the new testament and than we have  6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;    666
Jas 1:13 ASV - Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempteth no man:
Jas 1:15 ASV - Then the lust, when it hath conceived, beareth sin: and the sin, when it is fullgrown, bringeth forth death.
Jas 1:16 ASV - Be not deceived, my beloved brethren.

Because he rose from the dead he has given you the right to live and never die but to walk in his kingdom forever .   To drink his blood is to take on his very nature and to manifest his very life . He is the example the pattern we live by  .  Luk 6:45 ASV - The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Luk 6:46 ASV - And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Folks I believe we are coming to the close of this age ,the end of all things is at hand and your house your soul is going to be tried the flood waters are coming . Read Matt 24 we do not fly away we remain until we see his face coming in the clouds. 1Co 15:52 ASV - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   

Col 1:26 ASV - even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,
Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Transformed 

In Rom 12:2 being outwardly "conformed" to the things of this age is contrasted with being "transformed" (or transfigured) inwardly by the renewal of the thoughts through the Holy Spirit's power. A similar distinction holds good in Phl 3:21; the Lord will "fashion anew," or change outwardly, the body of our humiliation, and "conform" it in its nature (summorphos) to the body of His glory.

Transfigure:
of believers, Rom 12:2, "be ye transformed," the obligation being to undergo a complete change which, under the power of God, will find expression in character and conduct; morphe lays stress on the inward change, schema (see the preceding verb in that verse, suschematizo) lays stress on the outward (see FASHION, No. 3, FORM, No. 2); the present continuous tenses indicate a process; 2Cr 3:18 describes believers as being "transformed (RV) into the same image" (i.e., of Christ in all His moral excellencies), the change being effected by the Holy Spirit.

 Renewing    Greek: anakainosis

Renew, Renewing (Verb and Noun):
akin to A, No. 1, "a renewal," is used in Rom 12:2, "the renewing (of your mind)," i.e., the adjustment of the moral and spiritual vision and thinking to the mind of God, which is designed to have a transforming effect upon the life; in Tts 3:5, where "the renewing of the Holy Spirit" is not a fresh bestowment of the Spirit, but a revival of His power, developing the Christian life; this passage stresses the continual operation of the indwelling Spirit of God; the Romans passage stresses the willing response on the part of the believer.

Mind   Greek: nous

Mind (Noun and Verb):
"mind," denotes, speaking generally, the seat of reflective consciousness, comprising the faculties of perception and understanding, and those of feeling, judging and determining. the new nature, which belongs to the believer by reason of the new birth, Rom 7:23, 25, where it is contrasted with "the flesh," the principle of evil which dominates fallen man. Under (b) may come 2Th 2:2, where it stands for the determination to be steadfast amidst afflictions, through the confident expectation of the day of rest and recompense mentioned in the first chapter.

Now Jesus is the covenant unto us , he was our fulfilling of the Law . And by eating his Flesh and drinking his Blood ,   the word the commandants of Christ is his FLESH and the nature is his BLOOD.   Lev 17:11 ASV - For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life. Any other blood is not exceptable to the Father .  One lord one faith one baptism
The Law says they must not eat the blood of any sacriface , a type and a shadow of the life of Christ .

1Jo 5:6 ASV - This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood.
1Jo 5:7 ASV - And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is the truth.

Water   Greek: hudor
 to His baptism in Jordan and His Death on the Cross. As to (1), the "water" would symbolize the moral and practical cleansing effected by the removal of defilement by our taking heed to the Word of God in heart, life and habit; cp. Lev. 14, as to the cleansing of the leper.
As to (2), Jesus the Son of God came on His mission by, or through, "water" and blood, namely, at His baptism, when He publicly entered upon His mission and was declared to be the Son of God by the witness of the Father, and at the Cross, when He publicly closed His witness; the Apostle's statement thus counteracts the doctrine of the Gnostics that the Divine Logos united Himself with the Man Jesus at His baptism, and left him at Gethsemane. On the contrary, He who was baptized and He who was crucified was the Son of God throughout in His combined Deity and humanity.

  Blood  Greek: haima  the "blood" of sacrificial victims, e.g., Hbr 9:7; of the "blood" of Christ, which betokens His death by the shedding of His "blood" in expiatory sacrifice; to drink His "blood" is to appropriate the saving effects of His expiatory death, Jhn 6:53. As "the life of the flesh is in the blood," Lev 17:11, and was forfeited by sin, life eternal can be imparted only by the expiation made, in the giving up of the life by the sinless Savior.

Psa 19
The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart: The commandment of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever: The ordinances of Jehovah are true, and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb.
Moreover by them is thy servant warned: In keeping them there is great reward.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in thy sight, O Jehovah, my rock, and my redeemer.

The fear of Jehovah is clean , enduring for ever

2Co 7:9 ASV - I now rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye were made sorry unto repentance; for ye were made sorry after a godly sort, that ye might suffer loss by us in nothing.
2Co 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
2Co 7:11 ASV - For behold, this selfsame thing, that ye were made sorry after a godly sort, what earnest care it wrought in you, yea what clearing of yourselves, yea what indignation, yea what fear, yea what longing, yea what zeal, yea what avenging! Regret:
"not repented of" (a, negative, and A), is translated "which bringeth no regret" in 2Cr 7:10, RV, said of repentance (AV, "not to be repented of"); elsewhere, in Rom 11:29.

I remember so well as a young christian how the same people would go to the front for prayer
Every time there were services there would be those that would have these long faces and sorrowful expressions on their faces .  And my question to the Lord would be how Lord can these people have so many problems , and not get the  answers to what ever ails them . And than I began to study this verse 2Cor 7:10  , they are not sorry for their sins they are not heart broken with Godly sorrow that they WILL not change their minds to walk in righteousness.  
Psa 19: 9    Is why most people do not Fear God, they do not have a standing relationship with God to know his Mercy and his Grace .  So they go through their life having a form of godliness
but have no power to stand in their trials and temptations have the power to bind and to loose according to what children of God have in the Holy Ghost .  Doubt and unbelief destroys their Faith ,  and the sorrow they have is working death in them .   Its carnality its a matter of hearing the gospel in its truest form and not obeying the commandants of Jesus . 
Job 5:17 ASV - Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: Therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty.
Pro 3:11 ASV - My son, despise not the chastening of Jehovah; Neither be weary of his reproof:
Heb 12:5 ASV - and ye have forgotten the exhortation which reasoneth with you as with sons, My son, regard not lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art reproved of him;
Heb 12:7 ASV - It is for chastening that ye endure; God dealeth with you as with Sons; for what son is there whom his father chasteneth not?

Only one Gospel one truth the word calls it being born of another seed than the word of God.  Seed here in Greek is sperma

As to 1Jo 3:9, "his seed abideth in him," it is possible to understand this as meaning that children of God (His "seed") abide in Him, and do not go on doing (practicing) sin (the verb "to commit" does not represent the original in this passage). Alternatively, the "seed" signifies the principle of spiritual life as imparted to the believer, which abides in him without possibility of removal or extinction; the child of God remains eternally related to Christ, he who lives in sin has never become so related, he has not the principle of life in him. This meaning suits the context and the general tenor of the Epistle.

The bible says that even repentance is a gift from God   Luke 5:32 ASV - I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.
Luk 24:47 ASV - and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
Rom 2:4 ASV - Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
2Cr 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, [a repentance] which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
2Ti 2:25 ASV - in meekness correcting them that oppose themselves; if peradventure God may give them repentance unto the knowledge of the truth,

Repent, Repentance:
"afterthought, change of mind, repentance," corresponds in meaning to A, No. 1, and is used of "repentance" from sin or evil, except in Hbr 12:17, where the word "repentance" seems to mean, not simply a change of Isaac's mind, but such a change as would reverse the effects of his own previous state of mind. Esau's birthright-bargain could not be recalled; it involved an irretrievable loss
As regards "repentance" from sin,

(a) the requirement by God on man's part is set forth, e.g., in Mat 3:8; Luk 3:8; Act 20:21; 26:20;

(b) the mercy of God in giving "repentance" or leading men to it is set forth, e.g., in Act 5:31; 11:18; Rom 2:4; 2Ti 2:25. The most authentic mss. omit the word in Mat 9:13; Mar 2:17, as in the


People fear everything but God in their life's, there is no fear of God. The ironic part is that God is sovereign over this earth over everything you can see and not see, God is sovereign . He is sovereign over evil also.PEOPLE THINK THAT THE DEVIL IS EQUAL WITH GOD.  Not so he was made by God and the word is confirming this every day. Isa 45:7 ASV - I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil. I am Jehovah, that doeth all these things.          Isa 10:15 ASV - Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? shall the saw magnify itself against him that wieldeth it? as if a rod should wield them that lift it up, [or] as if a staff should lift up [him that is] not wood.
Isa 10:16 ASV - Therefore will the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory there shall be kindled a burning like the burning of fire.  Can the ax boast greater power than the person who uses it? Is the saw greater than the person who saws? Can a whip strike unless a hand is moving it? Can a cane walk by itself?   But can the ax boast greater power than the person who uses it?  Is the saw greater than the person who saws?  Can a rod strike unless a hand moves it?   Can a wooden cane walk by itself?

Pharaoh was a tool to bring the children closer to God. He was that axe and that saw to chasten Gods people to cause them to cleave unto the God who loved them. The whole story of Moses and Aaron and the wilderness was God trying to establish his love for his people. And we see that all those that left Egypt with Moses ( all but two men) died in the wilderness. Only the children that was born in the desert walked into the promised land. Over one million people died in this exodus not even Moses or Aaron entered in .The Lord chose Joshua to lead them over the Jordan into the land. Why ! because they did not believe God.   I heard it said that God took the children out of Egypt so he could take Egypt out of the children. 

Rom 10:20 ASV - And Isaiah is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I became manifest unto them that asked not of me. This is where God broke off the branch and grafted in the gentiles you and I. But understand Gods love here, he did not forsake his people there is a portion of his people that will come into this glorious walk of salvation.

Listening to him is much better than offering the fat of rams.  So what are we to say , is this word we have in the new testament to be obeyed just as the old was .Jesus said he did not come to do away with the law he came to fulfil it.And that was not just while he walk the earth but it is for now until the end.  Jesus was the absolute fulfillment of the Law for you.  The Law has never gone away it is still in place today , and every man living under the law must fulfill the commandments .  Jesus took your place and has reconciling you unto God through his blood .     Rom 8:3 ASV - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:    
Rom 7:6 ASV - But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that wherein we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.
Rom 8:2 ASV - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
Gal 3:13 ASV - Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Deut 28 Tells the penalty of breaking the Law ,  Deu 28:1 ASV - And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that Jehovah thy God will set thee on high above all the nations of the earth:
Deu 28:15 ASV - But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day, that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee.
God gave the Law to convict the children of their sin ,  so there must be blood sacrifices .
Heb 10:4 ASV - For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.
Heb 10:5 ASV - Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, But a body didst thou prepare for me;
Heb 10:6 ASV - In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hadst no pleasure:

Mat 5:18 ASV - For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished.  Jesus was the fulfilling of the law for righteousness sake.We are the righteousness of God in Christ .   We are made right in God's sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done.  But we must see our condition our present state of life, is sin working in us are we captive to sin of some sort. 1john says we do not know him if we have sin in us   1Jo 1:6 ASV - If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: I have a question for you, will sinners go to heaven?  My call to you today is that everything you have been told about the word of God must line up with scripture.  If you are not living by this word and being changed daily by its fruit, than what is wrong, you must realize that just because the world excepts it it must be true.  No the world is going to be judged by this righteous word of God.   2Pe 1:4 ASV - whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in that world by lust.
2Pe 1:5 ASV - Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in [your] virtue knowledge;
2Pe 1:6 ASV - and in [your] knowledge self-control; and in [your] self-control patience; and in [your] patience godliness;
2Pe 1:7 ASV - and in [your] godliness brotherly kindness; and in [your] brotherly kindness love.
2Pe 1:8 ASV - For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Pe 1:9 ASV - For he that lacketh these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.
2Pe 1:10 ASV - Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble:    The table is set and there is time to partake of the word of God but there is a time coming when the door will close and Gods mercy will withdraw and go to another.  Time is very short and what we do now with ourselves and look and see where is our treasure what have we stored up for this time of affection. What will you be able to draw upon in the time of famine and troubles that are coming like no other . I believe that our minds can not even comprehend what is coming upon the earth. It says in Revelations that men's hearts will fail them for fear of what they see.  The only thing that will save us in that day is the true word of God that we have put in our hearts. Our treasure is in the fact that Gods word is true and it will deliver us in that time, Psalm 91 says  Psa 91:1 ASV - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:2 ASV - I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.
Psa 91:3 ASV - For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence.
Psa 91:4 ASV - He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler.
Psa 91:5 ASV - Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Psa 91:6 ASV - For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Psa 91:7 ASV - A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; [But] it shall not come nigh thee.
Psa 91:8 ASV - Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked.        This is just some of the prophetic word written years ago for us today, this is speaking directly to us its the forth telling of the future events coming upon this earth. How shall thousands fall at our side and ten thousand at your right hand. We will be right in the middle of this event and only God and his word will save us.   The secret place is Christ in you ! if you are not born again that is to say Christ is not living in you than you will suffer, and that is very sobering to think about. I also have a cross to bear, I am just like any of Gods children I believe the whole word and fear God ! with a clean fear.   Psa 119:105 ASV - NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.
Psa 119:140 ASV - Thy word is very pure; Therefore thy servant loveth it.
Psa 119:160 ASV - The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances [endureth] for ever.
Jhn 17:17 ASV - Sanctify them in the truth: thy word is truth. 
Psa 19:1 NLT - For the choir director: A psalm of David. The heavens tell of the glory of God. The skies display his marvelous craftsmanship.
  Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known.
 They speak without a sound or a word; their voice is silent in the skies;  yet their message has gone out to all the earth, and their words to all the world. The sun lives in the heavens where God placed it.
  It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding. It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race.
  The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat.
  The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
  The commandments of the LORD are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are clear, giving insight to life. Fear for the LORD is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the LORD are true; each one is fair.
 They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb.
  They are a warning to those who hear them; there is great reward for those who obey them. How far can a man go with GOD is there a limit,   How far can a man not go with GOD  is there a limit. Doing all you can to find God is never enough his ways are past finding out. But not doing anything to find God is as far as you can go there is a limit, live to your flesh and live in this world embrace it with all you have,  deny Christ and you have gone as far as you can go.  But where will you go in the end of this life !   There is a hell and it is real and it is waiting for the fulness of time to be accomplished and than the end, and the word says the soul of man will never die your soul will never die, will you live in his presents  with joy unspeakable, or in torment  for ever and ever and ever and ever.


  Heb 10:26 ASV - For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a Sacrifice for Sins,   Willful sin seperates us from God , and brings the curse .  Look at verse 29 when a person willfully sins he hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace . That is the reason Moses and Aaron could not enter into the promise land they disobeyed God and struck the rock which is Jesus and the bible says he can only be crucified once , only to die once for our sins .   1Co 10:1 ASV - For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
1Co 10:2 ASV - and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;  

The cloud here is the Holy Ghost and the sea is water baptism ,  a type and a shadow of the promise of God to us all who obey the gospel . 

1Co 10:3 ASV - and did all eat the same spiritual food;
1Co 10:4 ASV - and did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them: and the rock was Christ.
 Jesus said just before he died IT IS FINISH .


 
Heb 10:27 ASV - but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.
Heb 10:28 ASV - A man that hath set at nought Moses law dieth without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses:
Hbr 10:29 ASV - of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Hbr 10:30 ASV - For we know him that said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
Hbr 10:31 ASV - It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.      Hbr 12:29 ASV - for our God is a consuming fire.

Rom 8:2 ASV - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.   Can you see what this verse says Jesus gives you the power to defeat sin through his spirit .  Sin works death in our life.   Jas 1:13 ASV - Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempteth no man:
Jas 1:14 ASV - but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his OWN LUST, and enticed.
Jas 1:15 ASV - Then the lust, when it hath conceived, beareth sin: and the sin, when it is fullgrown, bringeth forth death.
Jas 1:16 ASV - Be not deceived, my beloved brethren.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin . There is no scripture that says we are sinners saved by grace . We were ! sinners at one time but the blood of Christ has saved us from Sin we do not have to sin any longer we are free .    For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin . If we walk with Jesus we have his life in us .  You must be filled with the Holy Spirit to have power to overcome sin and the evil one.  There is nothing we can do to save our selfs nothing ! .

Pro 11:5 ASV - The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way; But the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
Pro 11:6 ASV - The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them; But the treacherous shall be taken in their own iniquity.
Rom 10:3 ASV - For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
Phl 3:9 ASV - and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:

Heb 5:12 ASV - For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food.
Heb 5:13 ASV - For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the word of righteousness; for he is a babe.
Heb 5:14 ASV - But solid food is for fullgrown men, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
Your father stands ready to perform his word over you ,  Blessed are the PURE in heart for they shall see God Blessed are they that hunger after righteousness for they SHALL be filled.

Religion is void of power to walk with God , Jesus told the scribes because of the traditions of your fathers you make of no effect the word of God.

Power From On High

1Pe 1:23 ASV - having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which liveth and abideth.
1Pe 1:24 ASV - For, All flesh is as grass, And all the glory thereof as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower falleth:
1Pe 1:25 ASV - But the word of the Lord abideth for ever. And this is the word of good tidings which was preached unto you.

Beget, Bear (Of Begetting), Born:
"to give birth to, to bring forth" (from kueo, "to be pregnant"), is used metaphorically of spiritual birth by means of the Word of God, Jam 1:18, and of death as the offspring of sin (Jam 1:15   to produce again, be born again, born anew  metaph. to have one's mind changed so that he lives a new life and one conformed to the will of God .

Greek: sperma      Seed:
akin to speiro, "to sow" (Eng., "sperm," "spermatic," etc.), has the following usages,
of spiritual offspring, Rom 4:16, 18; 9:8; here "the children of the promise are reckoned for a seed" points, firstly, to Isaac's birth as being not according to the ordinary course of nature but by Divine promise, and, secondly, by analogy, to the fact that all believers are children of God by spiritual birth; Gal 3:29.

Not of corruptible seed   Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!
Jhn 3:6 ASV - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Jhn 3:7 ASV - Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born anew.
Jesus is speaking of a transforming of your soul  .  Born of the flesh is your natural life born of Adam   for all have sin and come short of the glory of God.  Born of the spirit is spirit Gods spirit,  from death unto life , born again . Having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible .  Jesus paid the ransom for your life , he took our place and died a physical death for mankind.   Luk 1:34 ASV - And Mary said unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?  And this is the natural seed of man corruptible mans seed.
Luk 1:35 ASV - And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee: wherefore also the holy thing which is begotten shall be called the Son of God.  The incorruptible seed was Gods seed the sperma of God , and so Jesus was begotten of God his father .  This is where we come to the place we can also be begotten of God also by his word .       Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.   We lose our identity with the world and become transformed by the word of God.
God made a body and put his word it and his word became flesh.   The same for you and I ,we have this word in us and it becomes flesh in us, as we read and obey and walk in this word we actually take on the very nature of Christ.  This is how we eat his flesh and drink his blood .   Jhn 6:51 ASV - I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.      Jhn 6:55 ASV - For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Jhn 6:56 ASV - He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood abideth in me, and I in him.



Jhn 12:24 ASV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit.
Jhn 12:25 ASV - He that loveth his life loseth it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
The grain of wheat here is your flesh and if it does not die to self,  your carnal nature than it has no life eternal, it abides alone .  But if it die, it beareth much fruit , and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.   Now the death here is putting to death the deeds of the flesh
Jhn 12:26 ASV - If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will the Father honor.
Please understand you cannot do this alone the power to over come is by Gods grace his gift of Faith .  And the only way to walk in this victory is to filled with the Holy Spirit just as the one hundred and twenty on the day of Pentecost . Jesus told them in that day and its for you today  
Luk 24:49 ASV - And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.  
Clothed  Greek: enduo  in the Middle Voice, "to put on oneself, be clothed with," is used metaphorically of power, Luk 24:49, RV, "clothed."
Rom 13:14 ASV - But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Jesus said it was a promise from the father  Jhn 14:16 ASV - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,
Jhn 14:17 ASV - even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.

1Pe 1:18 KJV - Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Peter spoke these word to repentant hearts crying out for salvation ,  there is three things he said and you must believe this is the voice of God to you and to all people.  1.  Repent = change you mind be sorrowful for past sins.
  2.    Be baptized into the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins and the word Name is the nature, character and the authority the power to over come its Christ in you the hope of Glory
 3.  This is a positive statement the word of God through Peter, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Its not what man says its what does the word say , have you haad this experience are you filled with the spirit of God as this word promises.   If this died with the disciples how does this word and promises die to us . No !  Peter said it is to you and your children.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.,  Did the Lord stop calling men to his grace and mercy at that time  , no he is still calling children to his kingdom . Even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him .  Their is still precious fruit to be gathered , is God calling you to a deeper walk   .  He is near to them that seek him ,  Ask him to give you the gift of his Holy Spirit
Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye SHALL receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. !



Act 19:2 KJV - He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
Act 19:3 KJV - And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
Act 19:4 KJV - Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
Act 19:5 KJV - When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Act 19:6 KJV - And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

It Becometh Us To Fulfil All Righteousness.

Luk 4:1 KJV - And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Luk 4:2 KJV - Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
Luk 4:3 KJV - And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
Luk 4:4 KJV - And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Luk 4:5 KJV - And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
Luk 4:6 KJV - And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
Luk 4:7 KJV - If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
Luk 4:8 KJV - And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Luk 4:9 KJV - And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
Luk 4:10 KJV - For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

It is written the only answer Jesus spoke, it is the the word of God that defeats the enemy , the sword of the spirit is our weapon to defeat the evil forces.  You must put this word deep in your heart and it will supply your every need  Rev 12:11 ASV - And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.

The moment Jesus was filled with the Holy Ghost and the bible says it is the same Holy Ghost that raised him from the dead and dwell in your mortal bodies , you shall rise to at the last trump just as Christ resurrected .
Rom 8:11 ASV - But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:  Fire Greek    Pyr of the holiness of God, which consumes all that is inconsistent therewith, Hbr 10:27; 12:29; cp. Rev 1:14; 2:18; 10:1; 15:2; 19:12; similarly of the holy angels as His ministers, Hbr 1:7; in Rev 3:18 it is symbolic of that which tries the faith of saints, producing what will glorify the Lord .
Rev 3:18 ASV - I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and that the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eyesalve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see.
Every precious metal has to go through the fire to prove its worth , taking out the impurites to perfect the pure Gold. 



1Pe 1:3 ASV - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pe 1:4 ASV - unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
1Pe 1:5 ASV - who by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
1Pe 1:6 ASV - Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, ye have been put to grief in manifold trials,
1Pe 1:7 ASV - that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold that perisheth though it is proved by fire, may be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ:
1Pe 1:8 ASV - whom not having seen ye love; on whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
1Pe 1:9 ASV - receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

1Co 3:10 ASV - According to the grace of God which was given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder I laid a foundation; and another buildeth thereon. But let each man take heed how he buildeth thereon.
1Co 3:11 ASV - For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1Co 3:12 ASV - But if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble;
1Co 3:13 ASV - each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man's work of what sort it is.

1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
The sin nature of Adam is what will not enter the kingdom of God , you were born of Adams blood and all were lost in his sin. So what is the remedy for this ,     1Co 15:22 ASV - For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Jesus said you must be born again ! how are we born again .  Peter said in Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?  Godly sorrow works unto repentance

Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him . 

This is the only way unto salvation to all man kind , Without repentance, having a broken heart for your past sins you can not come unto God .    Being  Baptized is not debatable it is the Gospel is the truth to live by.  People think baptism  is just a formal thing to do,  some religious doctrine to be perform .  Jesus is the example for us to follow . Rom 12:2 ASV - And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  This word of God will renew our minds from flesh to spirit



   Mat 3:13 ASV - Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to the Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
Mat 3:14 ASV - But John would have hindered him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
Mat 3:15 ASV - But Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffereth him.
Mat 3:16 ASV - And Jesus when he was baptized, went up straightway from the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him;
Mat 3:17 ASV - and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Jesus said it is to fulfill all Righteousness and he submitted unto John to baptize him.  He told Nicodemus you must be born again        Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!
Jhn 3:6 ASV - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  From Adam to the new man being born in you Christ in you
Jhn 3:7 ASV - Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born anew.   How is a true believer born again , the water is the word of God washing you every day you live and obeying this precious word .  Being  a doer of the word and not just a hearer.   Jesus  said Luk 6:45 ASV - The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Luk 6:46 ASV - And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Luk 6:47 ASV - Every one that cometh unto me, and heareth my words, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like:   The spirit is the power of God promised to you , the same spirit that drove Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted .  Repent and be baptized and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit .  Do you have the Spirit of God living in you , are you being born again daily.
Rom 6:3 ASV - Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?


Rom 6:4 ASV - We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 ASV - For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 ASV - knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Rom 6:7 ASV - for he that hath died is justified from sin.

This is the fulfilling of all righteous with out the Spirit of God in you are with out the power to overcome .  Jhn 14:26 ASV - But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you.
Being baptized is a walk of righteous living if you obey and submit to this gospel ,  it is a life time of obedience to the father and his word and he gives you the power to overcome all things .
1Pe 3:16 ASV - having a good conscience; that, wherein ye are spoken against, they may be put to shame who revile your good manner of life in Christ.
1Pe 3:21 ASV - which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;
1Pe 3:18 ASV - Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

Rom 2:7 ASV - to them that by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and incorruption, eternal life:
1Co 15:42 ASV - So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
1Co 15:50 ASV - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Co 15:53 ASV - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 ASV - But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

We have power over sin we do not have to sin any longer Jesus broke the cruse of sin and death over you .  A sinner saved by grace and if you were saved by his grace than you are free from sin. And the Spirit of God through his word will bring that born again experience to you .
Luk 4:1 KJV - And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Luk 4:2 KJV - Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
Luk 4:3 KJV - And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
Luk 4:4 KJV - And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Luk 4:5 KJV - And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
Luk 4:6 KJV - And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

The moment Jesus was filled with the Holy Ghost and the bible says it is the same Holy Ghost that raised him from the dead and dwell in your mortal bodies , you shall rise to just as Christ.
Rom 8:11 ASV - But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:  Fire Greek    Pyr of the holiness of God, which consumes all that is inconsistent therewith, Hbr 10:27; 12:29; cp. Rev 1:14; 2:18; 10:1; 15:2; 19:12; similarly of the holy angels as His ministers, Hbr 1:7; in Rev 3:18 it is symbolic of that which tries the faith of saints, producing what will glorify the Lord .
Rev 3:18 ASV - I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and that the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eyesalve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see.
Every precious metal has to go through the fire to prove its worth , taking out the impurities to perfect the pure Gold.  Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ In You, the hope of glory:




1Pe 1:3 ASV - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pe 1:4 ASV - unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

The sin nature of Adam is what will not enter the kingdom of God , you wee born of Adams blood and all were lost in his sin. So what is the remedy for this ,     1Co 15:22 ASV - For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:45 ASV - So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Jhn 1:12 ASV - But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jhn 1:13 ASV - who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Luk 17:21 ASV - neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.   When it talks of Christ handing over the kingdom to the father it is you and I , you are the kingdom being fulfilled every day you walk . The kingdom of God is not meat nor drink but righteous ,peace and Joy .

1Co 15:54 ASV - But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1Co 15:56 ASV - The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law:
