Eze 3:19 ASV - Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
Eze 3:20 ASV - Again, when a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thy hand.
Eze 3:21 ASV - Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he took warning; and thou hast delivered thy soul.

Rom 11:29 ASV - For the gifts and the calling of God are not repented of.

1Cr 12:28 ASV - And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, [divers] kinds of tongues.

He will never take back his gifts,he gives them severally as he wills. Its not about you and your feelings,matter of fact those five senses are supposed to be dead in Christ. Well I just don't think I am worthy enough to have these gifts,no you are not! but its not about you Rom 9:16 So receiving God's promise is not up to us. We can't get it by choosing it or working hard for it. God will show mercy to anyone he chooses. Pride goes before destruction, We must humble ourselves before the Lord, Hbr 12:14 ASV - Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord: Sanctification in greek Strong's Number: g38 Greek: hagiasmos
Holiness, Holy, Holily:
translated "holiness" in the AV of Rom 6:19, 22; 1Th 4:7; 1Ti 2:15; Hbr 12:14, is always rendered "sanctification" in the RV. It signifies

(a) separation to God, 1Cr 1:30; 2Th 2:13; 1Pe 1:2;

(b) the resultant state, the conduct befitting those so separated, 1Th 4:3, 4, 7, and the four other places mentioned above. "Sanctification" is thus the state predetermined by God for believers, into which in grace He calls them, and in which they begin their Christian course and so pursue it. Hence they are called "saints" (hagioi).

So if God has called us to this seperation,it would behoove you to run to the throne of grace and fall on your face and say yes Lord use me, we are dead in Christ and if we live its because of his mercy for us,He knows your name its on his lips ,you think God dont know your heart. You cant be a baby for ever,The word of righteous brings decernment and to know what is evil and what is good. We have no excuse the old man is dead, and the spirit of Christ is alive in us to do the will of God that sent him. The story here is he gave to each man according to his ability,the word says severally as he wills.He knows what we can do, he is not asking any thing that is to hard for you. Its not only talking about your gifts its talking about your salvation,there is outer darkness involved here! Hbr 11:4 ASV - By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he had witness borne to him that he was righteous, God bearing witness in respect of his gifts: and through it he being dead yet speaketh.This story with Cain and Abel is just not all of a sudden Cain watched Abel and more than once God blessed Abel and Cain became more and more angry,he became jealous of Abel and never once thinking of repentance, and find out what is wrong with his offering.God told him sin is crouching at your door,do what is right. That spirit of Cain is very much alive today and it hates The true gifts,given with an honest heart ,it brings light to there sin and they will try to destroy you.
Deu 8:3 ASV - And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by everything that proceedeth out of the mouth of Jehovah doth man live. Gal 6:3 ASV - For if a man thinketh himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
Gal 6:4 ASV - But let each man prove his own work, and then shall he have his glorying in regard of himself alone, and not of his neighbor.
