Splitting hairs with the sword of Gods word

When we placed our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, we were born again. We were made new in Christ. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17). We received a new spiritual heart, as promised of old. "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you" (Ezekiel 36:26).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is part of a recent teaching I read on line today, and I take exception to this. It is leaven ! to believe that we have faith of our own. Now you might say this goes with out saying, he means the same thing he is just saying it different. NO this is not the gospel Peter preached and Paul wrote about, this is not the word in truth. This is whats wrong with the church today. This is another gospel being preached. We have no faith to give God, Eph 2:5 ASV - even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved),
Eph 2:8 ASV - for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, [it is] the gift of God; God did not tell Nicodemus just believe and you will be saved. Read it again ! He said you must be born again Jhn 3:5 ASV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God! What is being born again. The water is being borne again by the word of God, and the Spirit is recieving the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead. Rom 8:11 ASV - But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Some people ask Peter how they could be saved and he replied with Act 2:37 ASV - Now when they heard [this,] they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 ASV - And Peter [said] unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. There are three things that Peter spoke here to these people, He did not say to except the Lord as your personal savior, He did not say just believe and you will be saved, there is a commandment here Coming from God through Peter to us all. There is only one way to be saved its not only here its all through the book. Jesus is the door and we must go through that door to be saved. It is the fulfilling of a promise from God. God killed Aarons sons for making strange fire Lev 10:1 ASV - And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took each of them his censer, and put fire therein, and laid incense thereon, and offered strange fire before Jehovah, which he had not commanded them.
Lev 10:2 ASV - And there came forth fire from before Jehovah, and devoured them, and they died before Jehovah.
Lev 10:3 ASV - Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that Jehovah spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace. Then Moses said to Aaron, "This is what the LORD meant when he said, `I will show myself holy among those who are near me. I will be glorified before all the people.' " And Aaron was silent. Jesus said God is seeking such as Jhn 4:23 ASV - But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers.
Jhn 4:24 ASV - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
There is Grace from God now that there may be some come to repenteance, but the day is coming when God will consume all those that make strange fire. Yes it is very important to obey the whole word.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
Mar 8:15 ASV - And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod. Leaven in the greek
the unleavened bread, insipid in taste, reminding them, too, of their afflictions, and of the need of self-judgment, is called "the bread of affliction." "Leaven" was forbidden in all offerings to the Lord by fire, Lev 2:11; 6:17. Being bred of corruption and spreading through the mass of that in which it is mixed, and therefore symbolizing the pervasive character of evil, "leaven" was utterly inconsistent in offerings which typified the propitiatory sacrifice of Christ. (a) metaphorically
(1) of corrupt doctrine, Mat 13:33; Luk 13:21, of error as mixed with the truth (there is no valid reason for regarding the symbol here differently from its application elsewhere in the NT); Mat 16:6, 11; Mar 8:15
Traditions of men will not save you, God is after your heart its your heart he is seeing, Mat 15:18 ASV - But the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth out of the heart; and they defile the man.
Mat 15:19 ASV - For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings:
Rom 10:10 ASV - for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. They that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
The spirit is Christ in you and the truth is the whole word of God alive in you, being made manifest in you. Bringing forth fruit unto repenteance. Jhn 15:8 ASV - Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and [so] shall ye be my disciples.

Luk 3:16 ASV - John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and [in] fire: Johns baptism was a baptism of repenteance. John had to come first to prepare the way for Christ. Mat 3:11 ASV - I indeed baptize you in water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and [in] fire:
Mat 3:12 ASV - whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing-floor; and he will gather his wheat into the garner, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.
Mat 3:13 ASV - Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to the Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
Mat 3:14 ASV - But John would have hindered him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
Mat 3:15 ASV - But Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [it] now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffereth him. John was baptizing unto repentance and Jesus said it will fulfill all righteousness. And what is the meaning of baptism What does going down in the water represent, Strong's Number: g907 Greek: baptizo

Baptism, Baptist, Baptize: It is used in the NT in Luk 11:38 of washing oneself (as in 2Ki 5:14, "dipped himself," Sept.); see also Isa 21:4, lit., "lawlessness overwhelms me." In the early chapters of the four Gospels and in Act 1:5; 11:16; 19:4, it is used of the rite performed by John the Baptist who called upon the people to repent that they might receive remission of sins. Those who obeyed came "confessing their sins," thus acknowledging their unfitness to be in the Messiah's coming Kingdom. Distinct from this is the "baptism" enjoined by Christ, Mat 28:19, a "baptism" to be undergone by believers, thus witnessing to their identification with Him in death, burial and resurrection, e.g., Act 19:5; Rom 6:3, 4; 1Cr 1:13-17; 12:13; Gal 3:27; Col 2:12. The phrase in Mat 28:19, "baptizing them into the Name" (RV; cp. Act 8:16, RV), would indicate that the "baptized" person was closely bound to, or became the property of, the one into whose name he was "baptized." Eph 5:25 ASV - Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;
Eph 5:26 ASV - that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
HE SANCTIFYS HIS CHURCH WITH HIS WORD,
Eph 5:27 ASV - that he might present the church to himself a glorious [church], not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Mat 3:8 ASV - Bring forth therefore fruit worthy of repentance:
Mat 3:11 ASV - I indeed baptize you in water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and [in] fire:
Mar 1:4 ASV - John came, who baptized in the wilderness and preached the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins.
Luk 3:3 ASV - And he came into all the region round about the Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins;
Luk 5:32 ASV - I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.
Luk 24:47 ASV - and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
Act 5:31 ASV - Him did God exalt with his right hand [to be] a Prince and a Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins.
Act 19:4 ASV - And Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people that they should believe on him that should come after him, that is, on Jesus.
2Cr 7:10 ASV - For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, [a repentance] which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. For God can use sorrow in our lives to help us turn away from sin and seek salvation. We will never regret that kind of sorrow. But sorrow without repentance is the kind that results in death. Jhn 10:9 ASV - I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture. Jhn 14:6 ASV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me. You might say what are you trying to say Psa 119:160 ASV - The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances [endureth] for ever. Its the whole word that will save us, when you open a safe and the combination is 4-5-8- you must use the correct numbers to open the safe not 4-5-4. It will never open up to you. They say every head bowed and every eye closed and come and except Jesus as your personal savior . Jesus is not our personal savior!! he is the lamb that takes away the sin of the world. This is Apostate this is where their is no repentance, and they are not sorry for their sins! they want to hide and sneak in , But sorrow without repentance is the kind that results in death. This is that worldly sorrow that's for a moment than death comes. No man can come unto GOD except through Christ Jesus, He is the stone that the builders rejected, The chief corner stone. Mat 21:44 ASV - And he that falleth on this stone shall be broken to pieces: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will scatter him as dust.
Rev 20:11 ASV - And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12 ASV - And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. IT SAYS BOOKS AND A BOOK WAS OPENED,THE SINGLE BOOK IS THE BOOK OF LIFE, You think this may be the word of God we read right now, This word is going to judge us in that day.IT is the word of life, And the word was made flesh. The word says in that day we shall see him as he really is, for we shall be like him 1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. Christ is the word and if this word is manifest in us, made alive in us we shall also be a son of God. There is only one Gospel the gospel of Christ. Its not my words it is the word of God. Its in the book all we have to do is read it.
Mar 7:13 ASV - making void the word of God by your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things ye do.
Pro 30:5 ASV - Every word of God is tried: He is a shield unto them that take refuge in him.
2Ti 2:25 ASV - in meekness correcting them that oppose themselves; if peradventure God may give them repentance unto the knowledge of the truth,
2Pe 3:9 ASV - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you-ward, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

"I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them." (Ezekiel 36:27)

Christ in the greek strong's Number: g5547 Greek: christos anointed

It is added as an appellative to the proper name "Jesus," e.g., Jhn 17:3, the only time when the Lord so spoke of Himself; Act 9:34; 1Cr 3:11; 1Jo 5:6. It is distinctly a proper name in many passages, whether with the article, e.g., Mat 1:17; 11:2; Rom 7:4; 9:5; 15:19; 1Cr 1:6, or without the article, Mar 9:41; Rom 6:4; 8:9, 17; 1Cr 1:12; Gal 2:16. The single title Christos is sometimes used without the article to signify the One who by His Holy Spirit and power indwells believers and molds their character in conformity to His likeness, Rom 8:10; Gal 2:20; 4:19; Eph 3:17. As to the use or absence of the article, the title with the article specifies the Lord Jesus as "the Christ;" the title without the article stresses His character and His relationship with believers. Again, speaking generally, when the title is the subject of a sentence it has the article; when it forms part of the predicate the article is absent. See also JESUS.

2Cr 5:15 ASV - and he died for all, that they that live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto him who for their sakes died and rose again.
2Cr 5:16 ASV - Wherefore we henceforth know no man after the flesh: even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know [him so] no more.
2Cr 5:17 ASV - Wherefore if any man is in Christ, [he is] a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.
2Cr 5:18 ASV - But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation; He paid the ransom for us who believe he took our place.

God bless you all
