His Body Is Meat Indeed
Psa 23:1 ASV - A Psalm of David. Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Jehovah is my shepherd
Greek: poimen
Pastor:
"a shepherd, one who tends herds or flocks" (not merely one who feeds them), is used metaphorically of Christian "pastors," Eph 4:11. "Pastors" guide as well as feed the flock; cp. Act 20:28, which, with ver. 17, indicates that this was the service committed to elders (overseers or bishops); so also in 1Pe 5:1, 2, "tend the flock . . . exercising the oversight," RV; this involves tender care and vigilant superintendence. 1Pe 2:6 ASV - Because it is contained in scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame.
1Pe 2:7 ASV - For you therefore that believe is the preciousness: but for such as disbelieve, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner;
1Pe 2:8 ASV - and, A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence; for they stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
1Pe 2:9 ASV - But ye are a elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for [God's] own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
This word shepherd
CHIEF Greek: eklektos
Elect, Elected, Election:
lit. signifies "picked out, chosen" (ek, "from," lego, "to gather, pick out"), and is used of
(a) Christ, the "chosen" of God, as the Messiah, Luk 23:35 (for the verb in Luk 9:35 see Note below), and metaphorically as a "living Stone," "a chief corner Stone," 1Pe 2:4, 6; some mss. have it in Jhn 1:34, instead of huios, "Son;"
(b) angels, 1Ti 5:21, as "chosen" to be of especially high rank in administrative association with God, or as His messengers to human beings, doubtless in contrast to fallen angels (see 2Pe 2:4; Jud 1:6);
(c) believers (Jews or Gentiles), Mat 24:22, 24, 31; Mar 13:20, 22, 27; Luk 18:7; Rom 8:33; Col 3:12; 2Ti 2:10; Tts 1:1; 1Pe 1:1; 2:9 (as a spiritual race); Mat 20:16; 22:14; Rev 17:14, "chosen;" individual believers are so mentioned in Rom 16:13; 2Jo 1:1, 13.
Believers were "chosen" "before the foundation of the world" (cp. "before times eternal," 2Ti 1:9), in Christ, Eph 1:4, to adoption, Eph 1:5; good works, Eph 2:10; conformity to Christ, Rom 8:29; salvation from the delusions of the Antichrist and the doom of the deluded, 2Th 2:13; eternal glory, Rom 9:23.
The source of their "election" is God's grace, not human will, Eph 1:4, 5; Rom 9:11; 11:5. They are given by God the Father to Christ as the fruit of His death, all being foreknown and foreseen by God, Jhn 17:6; Rom 8:29. While Christ's death was sufficient for all men, and is effective in the case of the "elect," yet men are treated as responsible, being capable of the will and power to choose. For the rendering "being chosen as firstfruits," an alternative reading in 2Th 2:13,
.
1Pe 5:4 ASV - And when the chief Shepherd shall be manifested, ye shall receive the crown of glory that fadeth not away.
Eph 4:8 ASV - Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men. Now what are the gifts he gave and why were they given.
Eph 4:8 ASV - Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men.
Eph 4:11 ASV - And he gave some [to be] apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; The body or church of Jesus Christ is the believers they are the church. And it was intended than as it is now to be the fulfilling of Gods promise to his people. It says some were given the gifts , so there is men called and gifted to work in the body of Christ with these gifts. These are the main gifts for the administration of his church. And as the scriptures say there are other gifts not lesser in authority but with the same intent, to the perfecting of the saints.
Now Jesus was the chief shepherd and than the called out ones to be shepherd of Gods flock. Jesus told Peter to feed his flock. Known as the five fold ministry, the word says God is no respecter of persons so the pastor is not the main gift or the last word he is a portion of Gods plan. Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists,Pastors, teachers no one is above the other we are all subject to one another. 1Cr 12:27 ASV - Now ye are the body of Christ, and severally members thereof.
1Cr 12:28 ASV - And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, [divers] kinds of tongues.
1Cr 12:29 ASV - Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all [workers of] miracles?
1Cr 12:30 ASV - have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
1Cr 12:31 ASV - But desire earnestly the greater gifts. And moreover a most excellent way show I unto you. The many gifts are one of the constituent parts of a whole in part, partly, in a measure, to some degree, as respects a part, severally, individually. It is totally backwards today to the working of the body of Christ as to who is the sole authority in the church today. Healing ministry ? no such thing in the true body of Jesus all are called to perform this great sign. Men that place them self's above the sheep for what ever reason
Eph 4:11 ASV - And he gave some [to be] apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; This is the five fold ministry these gifts should be operating fluently in the church today under the power of the Holy Spirit .
Eph 4:12 ASV - for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: Gods church has to have all theses gifts operateting in the church, that is the problem in christianty today. No one understands or even believes the Gospel the signs are for the unbeliever not the believer, and the church is in error when this one man show is operating. These signs shall follow those who believe you who believe are to cast out devils. People drive or even fly thousands of mile to get this kind of help where in reality it should be operating in the church Jesus is every where. Eph 4:12 ASV - for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: Perfecting of the saints complete furnishing, equipping of the believer. Healing ministry's no such thing , it belongs to the church . Traveling ministers performing and I do mean performing , where is the faith that God has given to each believer. Eph 2:8 ASV - for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, [it is] the gift of God; It is a gift, God has given every believer the gift to even believe and manifest these gifts for the working of the body . It is a perversion at its highest level its all about greed and distortion . People should search out the body of believers to pray for them body ministry, and that is gospel if it is done in the correct order of scripture. But it also says let it be according to your faith
There is no one man greater than Gods smallest sheep. That is the distortion these people have no one to examine his daily service , it says let the prophets judge. Eph 4:16 ASV - from whom all the body fitly framed and knit together through that which every joint supplieth, according to the working in [due] measure of each several part, maketh the increase of the body unto the building up of itself in love. Listen there is religion and than there is the GOSPEL of Christ Jesus . One Lord one faith and one baptism. Eph 4:16 ASV - from whom all the body fitly framed and knit together through that which every joint supplieth, according to the working in [due] measure of each several part, maketh the increase of the body unto the building up of itself in love. We can see why the church is in such discord and disarray. The sheep have no real shepherd today because they do not believe the whole word of God this error is rampant in the flock Jesus is the chief shepherd, Jhn 10:10 ASV - The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have [it] abundantly.
Jhn 10:11 ASV - I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd layeth down his life for the sheep.
Jhn 10:12 ASV - He that is a hireling, and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, beholdeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth, and the wolf snatcheth them, and scattereth [them]:
Jhn 10:13 ASV - [he fleeth] because he is a hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
Jhn 10:14 ASV - I am the good shepherd; and I know mine own, and mine own know me
Eph 2:20 ASV - being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief corner stone; It is a travesty to believe that this word was given only to the disciples of that day ! and they hinge there whole doctrine on one scripture and it is wrong . 1Cr 13:10 ASV - but when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away.
So the gifts Jesus gave to the church for the perfecting of his saints has been done away, because they say we have the whole word now. If they have the whole word now what is wrong with the church why is it so fragmented and distorted. The perfection is in Christ and in that day we will see him face to face. satan is distorting the truth he does not want you exercising your faith, the word says where Christ is there is liberty. Setting the captives free opening the eyes of the blind having dynamite power through the Holy Ghost. Jesus said he gave YOU power to bind and to loose the keys to the kingdom. 1Cr 13:12 ASV - For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know fully even as also I was fully known. That which is perfect is Christ at his return . For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face. 1Jo 3:2 ASV - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. Manifested in the
Greek: phaneroo
Appear, Appearing:
akin to No. 1, signifies, in the Active Voice, "to manifest;" in the Passive Voice, "to be manifested;" so, regularly, in the RV, instead of "to appear." See 2Cr 7:12; Col 3:4; Hbr 9:26; 1Pe 5:4; 1Jo 2:28; 3:2; Rev 3:18. To be manifested, in the Scriptural sense of the word, is more than to "appear." A person may "appear" in a false guise or without a disclosure of what he truly is; to be manifested is to be revealed in one's true character; this is especially the meaning of phaneroo, see, e.g., Jhn 3:21; 1Cr 4:5; 2Cr 5:10, 11; Eph 5:13.
For the perfecting of the saints, this is Christ in you the hope of glory Col 1:27 ASV - to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: The mystery is being disclosed today and God is reveling his word to those who love him. The Holy Spirit is the discerner of all things you must be born again to see the kingdom of God it is being made ready as we speak. Jesus told Nicodemus you must be born of the water and of the spirit, the water here is the whole word of God it washes you as you read and believe , the spirit is the power of God come to live in you . Jesus said Jhn 16:7 ASV - Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.
Luk 24:49 ASV - And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.
Act 2:39 ASV - For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him. Its not to a select few it is the promise to his church to those that believe.
Act 2:1 ASV - And when the day of Pentecost was now come, they were all together in one place.
Act 2:2 ASV - And suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 ASV - And there appeared unto them tongues parting asunder, like as of fire; and it sat upon each one of them.
Act 2:4 ASV - And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Noah has finished the Ark of safety , Noah = "rest". Do you have that rest , is Jesus your Lord of the sabbath a continual rest. Mat 25:10 ASV - And while they went away to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage feast: and the door was shut.
Luk 13:25 ASV - When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not whence ye are; Now these people here ministered in the gifts Mat 7:21 ASV - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven. Luk 6:46 ASV - And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Mat 7:22 ASV - Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works?
Mat 7:23 ASV - And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. These are the people that have that worldly sorrow never coming to a place of true repentance Hbr 12:14 ASV - Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord: Sanctification = set apart for God sold out to Jesus.
Hbr 12:15 ASV - looking carefully lest [there be] any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby the many be defiled; Not forgiving men of there trespasses ,forgiving our debtors. This is one of the most important teachings of Christ. And they not only defile them self's but every one around them. Mat 5:23 ASV - If therefore thou art offering thy gift at the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath aught against thee,
Mat 5:24 ASV - leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way, first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. Remember Cain and Able, God rejected Cains gift because his heart was evil and he accepted Abels because he had a right heart. Its the motive of a mans heart that God will judge
Hbr 12:16 ASV - lest [there be] any fornication, or profane person, as Esau, who for one mess of meat sold his own birthright. People must understand salvation is at stake here this is not a game that will end and we start over. Esau eldest son of Isaac and Rebecca and twin brother of Jacob; sold the birthright for food when he was hungry and the divine blessing went to Jacob; progenitor of the Arab peoples
Phl 3:19 ASV - whose end is perdition, whose god is the belly, and [whose] glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.
Why would I write this way to you most likely I will never see your face . I have no agenda no motive to preach to you . You have nothing I want in other words you are precious to God and he is speaking to you today like no other day.
Hbr 12:25 NASB - See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven.
So much to say so little time to say it all .
Mar 16:15 ASV - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
Mar 16:16 ASV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.
Mar 16:17 ASV - And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18 ASV - they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Eph 4:12 ASV - for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 ASV - till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a fullgrown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Eph 4:14 ASV - that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
Eph 4:15 ASV - but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, [even] Christ;
Eph 4:16 ASV - from whom all the body fitly framed and knit together through that which every joint supplieth, according to the working in [due] measure of each several part, maketh the increase of the body unto the building up of itself in love.
Psa 23:5 ASV - Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou hast anointed my head with oil; My cup runneth over.
Luk 14:8 ASV - When thou art bidden of any man to a marriage feast, sit not down in the chief seat; lest haply a more honorable man than thou be bidden of him, The Lord has called you to the marriage feast of the Lamb. We are being perfected every day by obedience to this word.
Seated at the table of our Lord. Jesus said to eat his flesh and to drink his blood. By eating his word we are being changed daily into the nature of Christ himself and that is his blood. for the life is in the blood.
Luk 14:9 ASV - and he that bade thee and him shall come and say to thee, Give this man place; and then thou shalt begin with shame to take the lowest place. Pride and arrogance is what we must over come we must take the lowest seat at the feast with all humility. Welcoming that Godly sorrow to change us to change our minds , having the mind of Christ in all things. When the Lord begins to show us who we really are we repent and change our minds for the better. And with that it says worldly sorrow works death, this is a man that hears his correction but has no Godly sorrow to repent and if he refuses to obey it works death in him
Luk 14:10 ASV - But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest place; that when he that hath bidden thee cometh, he may say to thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have glory in the presence of all that sit at meat with thee. By being humble and obdeient to his word such as this word. Taking the lowest seat perfering your brother over yourself , God will exhault you in
due season. It says we love him Jesus because he first loved us.
Luk 14:11 For everyone that exalteth himself shall be humbled; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
